Allison Madderall Friends, he comes in the studio,
crushes it, awesome live performance, check it out. Here he's going to perform live for us. Last of the great pretenders is the name of the new album, Mel Bull on Amazon, and iTunes as well, you know what to do. I got questions because I'm a good buddy, Bobcat Goldthwaite, actually directed one of his videos. So we can talk about that. Matt, I'll tell you what, let's set you're all set up. So you tell us the first song we're going to hear, play it, and then sit down and we'll chat. Cool. So this is King Kshirt, which is the song that Bob did the video for.
Oh great. Yeah. I'm thinking about the girl in the King shirt. You and my imagination.
You and my imagination. You and my imagination. Can't stop thinking about the girl in the King shirt. Oh, oh, oh, sidewalk, Mary Hachia. I see you in your party dress. Played out, sitting and seeing. Bring on the apocalypse. I don't need no songs playing on the radio. Oh, oh, oh, oh. I get my truth from your thrift store, hey, low. Oh, oh, oh, oh. It's the way she walks, the way she talks. Can't stop thinking about the girl in the King shirt. Take me home San Francisco. Can't stop thinking about the girl in the King shirt. You and my imagination. You and my imagination. You and my imagination.
Can't stop thinking about the girl in the King shirt. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Getting what you all can break your heart. Getting what you all can break your heart. Oh, baby, enough. Getting what you all is going to break you. It's going to break you. Going to break your heart. The way she walks, the way she talks. I get my truth from Saint Francis. It's the way she goes. She walks, the way she walks. It's the way she walks. Girls are you. They're just the same boys. They're just creed and they're keeping you happy. ornament. You heard that? Now all I do is gotta know. So, I feel something. So I will mark your name. I'll answer that one. Oh, I can't stop thinking about the girl in the kink shirt.
Matt Nathanson, Matt, tell us who was back in the off so we can give him some credit. Just Mr. Aaron Tap on the singing and the acoustic. Nice job Aaron Tap, sounded fantastic. I was funny. Aaron hit the bricks. Matt have a seat. I was, that was the song I was listening to on the ride in. I thought it was the girl in the kink shirt and I thought, is that a hockey sweater? That's a kink's fan and then I thought, oh no, he said San Francisco Bay Area of North Sacramento kinks. I start doing them. I start trying, you know your brain frantically tries to connect to the best weather fan. She's a, she's a powerful woman. She like bench presses like Volkswagen. Those fans are no joke. Sure. Yeah, but we were talking about the cum dancin and the lowellah kinks. Very nice by the way, sounded amazing. Cool, it was fun. Yeah, Dawson gets a lot of credit for doing his mix in and setting everything up very
nicely here. It's weird. Last, the great pretenders. That's wrong now. Sorry. That's all right. That's giving a plug. Last of the great pretenders. It's available on iTunes and Amazon and yeah, ask a question now. So then I want to hear about Bobcat. Is that song about masturbation? Most songs are about masturbation. I mean, what's up? Put my man. I mean, female too. I mean, everybody, what part of it gives you the indication that there's masturbation? Like what's so overt? That can't stop thinking about her and the mention of her and your imagination. Let's talk just historically about the menu of dated. Oh, God. And, um, are you guys in the way, right? I don't know. I don't know. There's no that there's a chronic mast. Do you have you dated chronic masturbation? My family. Daniel. I feel like I've dated average masturbators. My family. Daniel. Do you hear about the airing guy? I hear about him. No, that that was post post-bastowing. I accidentally went out with a white pride guy. What? Yeah. Hey, he just had pride in his Celtic heritage.
And also, yeah, he didn't do other races. He just liked his a lot better. Yeah, I mean, it wasn't like he's a child Hitler. I mean, yes, he raised his arm. Yeah, how is that dinner? That sounds awesome. No, it was it was a horrible rally with fire of no off-roading in a place where cars weren't supposed to go. And by the way, if the Jeep rolls just step out, that's what he told me. It was awful. Just step out. Yeah. Wow. So, yeah, long way for men. Why you, baby? Long way. That's incredible. So, um, you know, it's funny. I wasn't thinking about masturbation. And I. It's weird that I was. Yeah. I guess it wasn't about that then. No, it's about it was about a waitress that was so we made this record in San Francisco and down the street from my house pretty much. And every day we'd go to this cafe and there was this fucking brutally hot waitress. And she just had tattoos. She looked like she would beat you. And so, of course, we were like in love with her. And she was super nice.
And so, she came to the table every day. It was like the five of us, five guys. And she'd be like, what would you like to eat? And we'd be like, you know, you can like talk. We'd be like, milk shake. And she ended up being super nice. And so, one of the producers was like, you got to write a song about the waitress. We love her. So, I didn't. How did you get Bobcat to direct the video or how did you get hooked up with Bobcat? So Bob, I did a thing with him. A comedy thing up in San Francisco for sketch fest. But he married a friend of mine, Sarah, that we went that I went to college with. Sarah Disarago. Yeah. Sarah has tattoos too, right? Lots of tattoos. Yes. Yes, I know Sarah well. They work. Well, they basically work together. Right? Yeah. And so, I knew Bob through her. But I had done this thing with him. And he's a kinks fan, like super kinks fan. So I was like, do you think Bob would be into doing a video? Bob's a really good director. Bob has directed a lot of cool movies on his own. And he also, when we did the man show, he used to direct lots of bits for us.
And he was just a guy that's really good to work with. And he's just real. I don't, I don't, I think kind of that's his calling. He's directed like four or five films that he's gotten better. Like the last one was really, really God bless America. It was really, really good. And he has a new one about Bigfoot. Hello, and welcome to Pluto, foe. And Allison Rosen. Hello. And Bald Bryan. Yeah. Yeah, I'm going to go out tonight and take the kids around the neighborhood. I like that. That's a wish for my time. Yeah. Son is dressed as a lizard. Oh, he's dressed as Spider-Man's foe. Fanum. Yeah. I mean, who's that? Right. So he's going. He took that one. The black costume with the green costume. He's going as the, I don't know, the bad Spider-Man. Yeah. No, not the bad. The green goblin. No, he's going as the, uh, is the lizard. The lizard that fights the fought Spider-Man. Pretty sure as a Venom. Well, whatever the last Spider-Man was where they fought with the Lizards. Oh, the Lizards. Oh, the amazing Spider-Man. Oh, the amazing Spider-Man. Jim Morrison. Yeah. The lizard king. Yeah. Okay. Anyway, my daughter is on her third outfit. She's got the Katy Perry. She has this sort of Cleopatra. And then she has like the 60s hipster.
And it's like, uh, look like Elizabeth Montgomery's twin sister. Oh, right. When they used to do that. The dark-haired one. Sabrina. Yeah, Sabrina. We're back in the day. We're somewhere around season four. The actress would, or actor would go, I want to stretch my legs a little. I'm going to spread out. I'm going to, you know, I want to really explore my craft. And they'd go, all right, Hasselhoff put on this go T and drive this black semi truck. You're your evil twin. And he'd go, now that's acting. I wonder if it started with, I sing, you know, no, like, we got to be better for you. You can always tell it's, oh, it's never season one. No, in fact, the life it was like season eight. This song sounds like it was pinned by a horny 11 year old boy with a learning disability, right? Like, singing about my car. Come on, girl, jump in my car. I'm four years off of learning, Permit. How can you see that we've only just been together? The thing that's incredible is that you're not going to be able to see the world.
The thing that's incredible is when you realize he was 49 when he wrote this song and he was serious about it. It was his opus. I think about that with like kisses, lick it up. Like, Gene Simmons wasn't in junior high when he wrote, lick it up. Gene Simmons was all of 45 and he meant it. Yeah. Like, he really was like, you want to lick it up? Yeah, yeah, you got to. Don't be scared, girl. lick it up. He was a man in his 40s, singing about licking it up. All right. So, my, so yeah, and there is a great episode of Night Rider where he becomes his evil twin. But you just have to put a go-t on and you drive something black. And then you become the evil twin. And it's the same way with Be Witch. You take Elizabeth Montgomery and put her black wig on her and all of a sudden she was hipster 60s gal.
So, Natalia has three outfits. Again, one for school. Evil Natalia. Evil Natalia. You wish she'd take that one off. She has, she has hipster. She has like Cleopatra for school. Then like, hipster girl for after school party. Look at it, Hasselhoff as evil Hasselhoff. And then, and then there's the Katie Perry for the, for the, for the trick or treating that night. Sun just going in a lizard outfit. What's amazing is for her to be doing something 60s, that's over 50 years ago. Yeah. Yeah, I think they just see bright colors and go fuck it. Right. What were you? What did you have going? I mean, your mom would so shit, right? Yeah, I don't really remember childhood that well. As far as like outfits. It's called blocking it out. You mean your, your mom, one of the first times I met your mom, she showed me pantyhose.
With a, yeah. With an extra leg. With a third leg in the middle. Dangling down. You know what? She laughed in her German accent. These are male pantyhose for fellows. And had a bumblebee at the tip of it or something. And I remember just going like, I remember being like the sixth grade going like, okay, it's a little weird now, lady. This explains a lot, Ray. Laughing maniacally, by the way. This was the funniest thing she could ever come up. I mean, this was high humor to her. That just, uh, hot German top comedy. Literally, yeah, literally pantyhose with a sausage size. Same materials. Same pattern. Did she make them or what was her, did she sew them or did she buy them? Like I, it was a, I think she made them. I think she did too. Actually, well, you know, listen, I've been going through my mom stuff. She still has shit like that. My, my, my, my sister was a playing card. Like my grandpa made the big, you know, which one? Oh, the sandwich board, really? Yeah, very man-turing. Yeah. That's kind of cool.
Yeah. What were you as a kid kid? I did the, uh, dresses a girl once. You know, like the cheerleader, you know, dresses a girl once. Uh, that was in high school. No, I did that before high school. That was a popular costume option back then. I did a, I did a, it was. It was easy for a guy. Yeah. My, my older brother who's around Adam's age, did that, too? Yeah, just, it's, it's real easy to do the gender thing. Um, I did the Mr. T as you know, with the shaved head and the black face and all that kind of stuff. That was later. There's me and Ray. Ray is a Harry Krishna. Me is a Mr. T. Go to our website and check that out. How do I roll the culture? Black face, shaved head, shaved head. Oh, it's been black face. What? 15, 20, 20. Ray's been black face at school. And Ray wasn't kidding with this. Sorry, Christian. And let me tell you something, Bald. Uh-huh. Easy to sit around and go, eh, there's the bald head. circa 1983, 84, bald head was a weird, weird, dang, man.
Dude, people, you see Hasselhoff, what he looked like? Bald was weird. Bald was cancer or Marines or dad caught me with weed and he was a Marine. And, and Bald was scary. You would bald the scary. Bald the scary. And people with the spurs. Right. They would be scared like and you look around. What's going on? Well, you can see Ray's ponytail hanging off the back of his head if you want to see Ray as a Harry Krishna. And that's how long Ray's hair was. Ray had long hair and Ray such a nut that while I was getting my head, while I was getting my head shaved as Mr. T. I didn't have a costume, man. I had to think of the costume. Ray literally walked in and went, what's going on? And it was me and my buddy Todd were shaving our heads and he said, we was like, what are you doing? Like we're getting our costumes together for Halloween. He's going as a Mohican Indian. I'm going to Mr. T. He's like, well, it goes to a Harry Krishna, shave my head too. That was his, he, for those guys, again, in the 80s when the hair was a big deal, shaving your head wasn't something you, you know, you were that, you didn't, you didn't enter that lightly into that world, right?
This begs the question immediately after Halloween that year, you must have had a shave, you must have corrected your head and shaved it. I never seen a picture of you with a shaved head. Yeah, there is a picture of me in the book with a head that's pretty close to shaved. And, and, and the only time, I do remember the only time I ever had a conversation with my dad about anything, of anything at all, there's a picture of me with a shaved head. And, is that rare? Are you next to me with your shaved head? And, there's Todd with his shaved head as well. Everyone had the shaved head moments after, after Halloween. I don't know where the hell we were, but the point is is... Well, folks, home Thanksgiving furniture. Yeah, well, that was 80s. I know that house actually. Yeah, Joyce, maybe. Or Liz will work it out. But, the point is, is everyone else has long hair. My dad and one of the only future slash...
I think we've had two conversations in my life that involved either the future or money or jobs or education or anything of that nature. One time, I remember very... And, this was like two weeks before I got into show business. I was about 30 and I was... No insurance, no anything, no whatever. And, I got sick and I was fucked up and I had to just sit home and ride it out and I had lesions all over my face and in my mouth and everything. And, I was a disaster and my hand was fucked up. I had this big cyst in my hand and stuff. And, I couldn't go... I didn't have any insurance or doctors or hospitals or anything. I couldn't afford anything. So, I was just kind of riding it out. And, my dad said, You should put away some money. So, it's like, so you have something. You should have something, you know? I mean, you need something, right? You're 29, 30 years old.
You've got nothing? Oh, no. Philadelphia. No, I didn't have AIDS. I had herpes according to Dr. Drew. Yeah, the lesions all over. I was going with the theme. So, took me a beat. So, my dad literally said, You really should have like $1,000 or $800 or something, like somewhere, in case shit just completely breaks down. You have $500 somewhere. You don't have anything saved at all. You have just nothing. It's just, you're 30 years old, just paycheck to paycheck. Put a thousand bucks away somewhere. It's really about two weeks before I met Jimmy. I said, I said, Dad, for me to put away, you know, maybe a couple thousand dollars, would be a lot of work. I mean, I'd be tough, because I'm making about three, four hundred bucks a week, and I'm barely getting by, and it would be a big hassle for me to put away a little chunk,
the kind of chunk that could get you through a tough month or some hospital bills or whatever it is you're talking about. Again, maybe a couple thousand dollars. It would be painful for me to do that. And then, when I become successful, I'm gonna feel like an asshole, because I will have struggled so hard to put away $2,500, and now I make 10 grand for a voiceover job, and they ain't no big deal. What the fuck am I doing? And how uncomfortable was I saving this money if I become successful? So I said, fuck it, either I'll become successful, or I won't. But either way, I'm not gonna kill myself but put in two grand aside. You're dashed, listen, do you say voiceover job, and your nasally drawn is like, yep. Well, I probably said, comedy job or something like that, but I said, if I have success, I remember really thinking this out. I said, if I have any kind of success, I'll feel like an asshole killing myself putting aside three grand when I could make three grand like that if I'm having success. And then I said, if I don't have any success, academic.
Fuck it. Worked out. My mom was like, get a job with fucking insurance. Oh my God. My dad fucking, hey. What part of Jersey was you from? The other conversation. That was the one conversation. The other conversation I had is 19 head shaved after the Mr. T. debacle, and jobless, and living in my garage, and my dad just just sort of looked at me and went, good luck finding the job now. I remember that was the, because you were weirdo with a shaved head back then, and we were trying to just get a job at a supermarket, but weirdo shaved head was not going to help that car. You were a shaved head worked out in carpet cleaning. Yep, sweat rolled right off. There you go. Good time. So, yeah, we would go. I did the Mr. T. I did the chick. One year I did something that I thought was interesting back in my youth. And this time I was probably 21, 22. I just went to the savin or the ride aid or whatever the, wherever you'd go. And I just bought a kid's outfit, like just like literally,
but the bad shitty version. Now, my son's outfit's got like muscles built into it. And it's cheating. Tail that'll open a beer for you and stuff like that. Now, it's really cool. And it's all this Chinese shit and computer shit. And it's cheap, but you know, back then it was just, yeah, back then they'd show a drawing of like aquaman or spider man or Superman. And then they'd give you a plastic tablecloth. You pull your head through it like a poncho and put the stupid plastic thing with the rubber band thing that held on the back things you couldn't breathe out of. You had to wear it up like a visor the whole time. But the picture on the thing was, oh, this is awesome. So, there should be a class action lawsuit against the company that made all of those outfits and every inflatable doll. Yes. Because inflatable doll box, just a hot chick on the cover. Yeah, the picture was never the costume of the toy. It was what it was supposed to look like.
It was what it was supposed to be like in your mind. Like if you were super high on peyote, this is what it would be like in a perfect world. No, they would actually just show you the real version of what they were trying to simulate. Yeah. So, I was, I just went and got a superhero outfit. I was like 23. I just wore it like just shoved myself into the plastic kids outfit and put the plastic mask out of it and all that. But chicks playing cards, there was like all that. There was the easy one. They don't have these anymore like the hobo. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's what I was little. The burr. That was a hobo. Yeah, the hobo. The hobo was pretty easy. Now, we have bumps and they're junkies. Yeah. You know what I mean? It doesn't work anymore. Back then it was riding the rails and all that kind of stuff. Did more stew and... Right. I did the gorilla one year, the gorilla suit. Oh, yeah. That was fucking horrible. Right, you're always a wolf. The ton of weight couldn't get the suit off. Had a call up, my buddy, to unzip it with a plier.
It was pain-fuel or weird dude because you would go out and rent a gorilla outfit for like $80. No, no, I got that from um, um, um, Snakes Dad. Oh, you didn't rent it? No, I thought you rented it. No, that's nice. I thought you rented it. No, I thought you rented it. No, that's nice. I rented it. Oh, you rented it in Conan the Barber. Yeah. But you had no money. Yeah. That's what I love about stuff. That was the best outfit ever. Yeah, because you look like it. I love the hate like Conan. Yeah, it was nice. All right. Uh, by the way, the DTR, the Don't Tell Ray Party Path, the T-shirt. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, there's rain. There's rain. There's rain as Conan outfit. Yeah. We allowed Lizar to work. I don't know. It was, it was LL on your, whatever was hell. Whatever ladies love, whatever, whatever was easiest, you know, like if you could go to the thrift store and buy a shitty jacket from the 70s for 99 cents and whatever it was, that's whatever it was. But yeah, Ray is Conan. All right.
Don't tell Ray the DTR Party Path, the T-shirt, the book autographed by Ray and ourself. I'm told we have less than 50 left. Now we sold more than 200 of those bad boys. So let's jump on that while the, you know, let's get it while the Gittens Good. Ray can be heard on our podcast, Ace on the House. We do home improvement show. We do, we take your calls and we do that every Saturday and it's on iTunes. And it's a really good show. You get it at the end of curl app as well. We have a nice theme song and all kinds of good stuff and you can check out the Ace on the House.com website. Oh, right. What age did you turn candy in for eggs? I was thinking. You mean to throw eggs? Yeah, yeah. You mean to egg houses and kids and whatever else. You mean Miss Jeff? Yeah. What age was that for you? I think I'm way up to 10-11. Yeah, I'm somewhere in there that at a certain point in a certain, first Halloween was about
free candy. And then Halloween bled into fucking with people, like egging houses, teaping houses, fucking with other trick or treaters. Breaking in houses, stealing food. This is why I was afraid of teenagers. Yeah, there were no, there was no parental supervision. And also now everything is good. Like buy a sack of Reese's peanut butter cups or little Snickers bars or something like that. Half the shit I got was just Dudsville. Literally no Dudsville. Not even the apples or raisins. My mom, the health food nut gave away fucking whole walnuts in the shell. Here's how it all worked. Throw it back at her. She come out of the fucking basket of nuts in a, in a shell. And by the way, like people are traveling with a nut cracker. Like, hey, what a bad man. Yeah, wait, let me check out your utility belt. What do you got on there? Nothing to crack into that thing. It was like this, she'd come to the door to have the little raisins.
Raisins are one of those things that I was thinking about. Someone was tweeting to me. They said, how devastating is it when you see that cookie that you think has the toll house morsels in it and it turns out their raisins? And I go, and then it just started thinking about it. Nobody likes raisins. Nobody really likes raisins. And people that call them natures candy need to be shot. Anytime it starts with nature. And when we have candy candy, we don't need natures candy. You know, it's like carib. Great. If we run out of chocolate, tell me, and I'll get some carib. And tell them, I'll eat fucking chocolate like a human being. Or if we had a crans in knee brown. Right. And by the way, carib was huge in junior high. I think we weren't allowed to have chocolate in junior high. And then carib took over. Remember that? Well, for health food moms. Yeah. Now, even like in the, when you'd go and buy the stuff, you know, carib chips. No, they didn't sell carib. Carib crap, they did. At the school? Yeah. No, they didn't. I don't think so. Now. And then when it happened in Taluca Lake, circa what year did we get like from the last,
like we had five year run where there would be 10 to 12 dudes all dressed up as black dudes. Oh, really? Well, Ray, you dressed as a black dude. They weren't just black dudes? No. Ray dresses a black dude and showed up at school and high school. And it was no big whoop. How do you dress as a black dude? You don't have black face? Yeah. Al Jolson's kind of thing. Oh, they're in a makeup. Oh, Ray had to air in a hole. Ray was all dressed as a black dude hanging out with black dudes in high school on non-Halloween holidays. Like so man. Like on regular days. Ray didn't even do it on Halloween. Ray did it just on regular day. Yeah. Did you have an alter ego or were you so called Ray? Sugar Ray will talk. So, baby, yeah, what it be like? That's all right. It was hanging around with black guys. Wasn't a big deal back in the city. That's right. That would bust in. Did you notice? Grape street wats, kryps and bloods. We all hung out. They didn't give a shit. The giving out of the wall was crazy.
I was like, because those are very aerodynamic. That's inviting. You know what I mean? It was out there. That would work. My mom would hand them out. First off, people would be confused. What door shall we knock on? There's two front shorts. 14 inches apart. Get them both. That's twice the candy. Knock on the one that didn't have the screen on it. My mom would come out there with a little wicker basket that was filled with walnuts and raisins. And again, listen, I know Brian, you're going to start arguing with me. Nobody likes raisins. We tolerate raisins. They're fine. If they were bad for you, no one would touch them. They're fucking good for your stool or something. So, we fucking tolerate them. Yeah, right. I don't mind them showing up in my oatmeal or maybe a oatmeal cookie or raisin bread or something. But giving out those little fucking cardboard wallets of raisins. No, cartridge of raisins. No one fucking wants those. And you know, one of the weird things is golden raisins are actually pretty good and probably undersell by 50 to 1. Regular raisins, but they're actually better. I'm telling you right now, raisin hats aren't as good as goobers, but to outsell them 10 to 1.
I think it's a stupid name. And golden raisins are much superior to raisin raisins and undersell them by at least 50 to 1. But what would happen is my mom and hold the basket out. Kids, thank God I couldn't see the devastated look on their poor faces because they were wearing masks. But I'd see some tears rolling down their neck. And then they'd leave. And I'd just do the 3, 2, 1. And then you'd hear the house get pelted by the actual wallnuts that were thrown back at the house. And then they'd get a lot of sense in the occasional raisins. A couple long reasons. Yeah, so we've got a lot of really shit. Not much chocolate. We didn't have the mini chocolate bar thing perfected very well. There was no fun time. Reese's peanut butter. You went to the house with the big bars, forget it. Oh my god. They used to hand them out. That was like, smooth fall. Yeah, there's pedophile guy. Come on in. There's more. Go down in the basement. They're going to keep looking. You smoke pot. There's a whole factory.
And then there was a like Reese's peanut butter cups were way too rich for my neighborhood's blood. Like that was a lot of candy to be handing out for free. Now I don't know if they're cheaper or I live in a better neighborhood. I feel like people hand out Reese's peanut butter cups back in the day. That was like a big ticket item. That was once in a bloom. The individual or the two pack. Because the two pack was the individual. Oh, the individual was big enough. Two pack wet align. And then there was this one. We made the Carmel popcorn balls. There was the homemade shit. Really? Oh, yeah. You did with sulfane. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, you'd get the fucking, you had no problem with eating it. I mean, it was just like literally sulfane. And like somebody went in their kitchen and knocked out 150 popcorn caramel balls and handed that shit out. That was a while you run into a candy apple too. When I see that, yeah, when I see the guy, like the guy who makes his own Halloween candy doesn't exist in our society anymore.
But back in the day, that was one of those. I can't figure out if I love this guy or I hate this guy. I know he's twice the man all ever be. But I still don't want to spend 10 seconds with him. Yeah. But I would never just the notion of I am going to dedicate this day to hand crafting some form of confection for these young kids. That kind of filiac. Really? But I think that just stopped. Yeah, probably. There was a rule that my parents and most of parents instituted, which was that you couldn't have any candy that wasn't wrapped. Because this was around the time that everyone was saying that, oh, they're putting razors and apples and all the stuff that turned out to not be true. It was a hoax or an urban region. Right. Because your parents claimed to it, they wanted to inspect your candy first before you got to it. Well, it was to remove. I always thought they were actually inspecting it. My parents had a rule. What the road thinkers go. No rules. That was their rule. All right. Ray, what are you going to ask this year? You got an outfit? Black.
Okay, good. Alison Rosin, do you want to do one new story for me? Yes. Maybe we take quick break. The news with Alison Rosin. She reads some news from her iPad. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's bad. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. Alison. In C.B. Valley, sex offenders are suing to overturn the ordinance that says that they cannot celebrate or observe Halloween. Like they can't decorate their yard. They can't dress up in a costume. They cannot interact with the kids. Halloween is a big fuck you to sex offenders. I wish there was some sort of ordinance that said I didn't have to go out and walk my kids around or hand out candy or fine. Touch your kid Adam. It's easy. Done and done. Easy solution to this. All right. Wow. So there's a violation of their first amendment.
You know what else is the violation of the first amendment? Touching kids. How's that going? I feel like shame used to be this invisible fabric that held our society together. You know what I mean? You can never really have a law for everything. It's kind of like that delightful Disney movie where the Gus, the Mule kicked field goals. And there's always that scene in every movie, every Disney movie. Disney movies were easy in the 70s. They just pick a goose that laid gold legs or a donkey that kicked field goals or something. And at some point the referee, the opposing coach would run out on a field and went, you got to, they got a donkey kick and field goals. And the ref would go, you show me in the rule book where it says a donkey can't kick field goals. There's no rule against it. And of course, there could never be a page in a rule book that said a donkey cannot kick
a field goal. Here's a list of animals that may not kick field goals. Right. We have gooses that can lay gold legs, but we do not have, so we cannot as a society foresee everything and have a law for everything and have a regulation and have a rule for everything. Mainly we have a handful of big ones like, hey, no murder and no arson and speeding is going to get you a ticket. And then the rest of the rules used to be taken care of by a little something called dignity. You know, like we don't have to worry about this because anyone who is a pedophile would not surely never go out and protest thus they'd be seen that get on the news who this is a shame, but they got costumes. Oh, that's true. That's true. Think about it. Interesting. That's right. Going to send dusky this year. Damn it. Oh, but I bought the outfit a year ago. God, damn it. Big mini lion's man. Damn it. All right. All right. So shame used to keep these people at home and then we never have to deal with it.
Now it's got to go through the court system and bloody blah blah. Jesus, fucking Christ. I mean, we're really, we're at the point where, you know, and look, you know, doing a, you know, bootleg porn and tossing it up on the internet. No, no big deal. No, no big deal. Do, you know, having, having seven, seven, eight kids, you know, having five two year olds from seven different women and starting out on Revis Island or Chromarty Island in the NFL. No, no shame. No shame. Sheading out some kids and then sheading out some other kids and then sheading out some other kids and then dumping everyone and moving to Florida. No, no, no, no shame. It's now getting to this where pedophiles. So years, yeah, I know I'm trying to imagine like imagine you're a pedophile and someone comes to you, let's say and suggest that your rights are being violated. I'm trying to imagine being like, yeah, I have a right to. To do the whole Halloween thing. It is. I can't imagine it. Like, what do you, do you think that pedophiles don't, do they feel persecuted? Do they not really think there's anything wrong with what they've done?
I don't know. I am now starting to believe that what we're doing, well, let's just put it, I'll just put it to you this way. You guys all get ready for your assist, pucker. But trans, transgendered shit. This gendered shit was considered bizarre and illness and we did not certainly were not 10 years ago, 20 years ago. There was no, the transgender community needs to be represented in textbooks or something. If you were fucking talking about that shit 20 years ago, people would have called you a heretic. I remember Dr. Renee Richards who went with the transgender thing. The whole transgender, let's just say transgendered community or the transvestite transgendered or whatever. These were fringe people that society did not need to recognize and there was no like, hey, you need to show respect for this transsexual over here or this transvestite over here.
People would have laughed your ass off. Now, it's a real discussion. Like, okay, this guy's a transvestite. Show him some respect. Include him in the textbooks. I want to hear about the contributions that the transsexual community has made to California and put him in. So, we're now having like legitimate conversations about groups that we were considered pariahs. Let's be honest. If a guy was a transvestite in 19, just not that long ago, 10 years ago, guy says he transvestites. I guess see it the shakies and tuck your cock between your legs. I'll see it the Santa Monica shakies. I don't have Adam Dresch as a girl for Halloween. This would be a great time to show it. All right. Cheerleader time. So there you go. So there's that. Now, people go, oh, you're equating transsexual or transvestite with pedophile. No. What I'm saying is is conversations we thought we never have about people's sexuality.
Let's face it. I as a straight male would sooner see myself being with a 13 year old girl than I would lopping off my unit and replacing it with a vagina. Given the choice. Given the choice. Okay. I know that doesn't mean a six year old girl, but I swear to God, I'd say I'll hang out with the six year old girl and we'll just hold hands and talk about American girl dolls and have a little tea party. Don't you do that now? That's right. That's right. That's right, but I don't beat off doing it yet. Point is this. Cutting off the junk and replacing it with the vagina and getting the Adam's apple shaved, that's something that's further away from me than any of this stuff. So now you're pedophile and now everything's on the table, meaning all sexuality, look, you know, hey, this guy makes loved automobiles. Why can't he be recognized?
It is his sexual proclivity. We are not going to exclude anybody from the conversation involving sexuality. So I like a nine year old. You judging me? I am. I'm just as God made me. I mean, I was- Did I mature nine year old? You could argue that I was born this way. I mean, there's a gay argument of, hey, this is how I was born. I would make the argument that a train, I argue that pedophiles were proud of many were born that way. I assume they must be because it's such a hard lifestyle. I mean, I'm not going to be able to pursue it. Yeah, that's clear. It is. I mean, look, if you know the right guys, I can make a couple of, anyway, said enough. Point is this, everything now is on the table sexually. There's no more judging and I don't know if it's good and I don't know if it's bad, but I'm just saying pedophiles maybe last in line, but 10 years from now, what the fuck knows? Maybe they're going, hey, what a pedophile? That's how I was born. The one that's so God-created being your king. The distinction at this point is the love object to group that needs protection.
For example, children or animals. You've decided. You decided that was a crime. I'm a card-carrying Nambler member. Oh, well, does Dr. Drew think of all this, of transvestism in sexual sex? I have seen him. I've seen him. In it. Yeah. He says if he has a couple of like, yaker bombs, he's down. He's down. Yeah. If that's what he says. That's what he says all the time. Nice butt pussy. But he says that, you know, just like I'm saying from a guy who did love line 10 years ago, 15 years ago, transgender, transsexual, transvestite was super weird and fringy. Oh my God, this is a mental disorder too. Hey, we're part of the mainstream and we're part of the LGBT BFD club and we need to be accepted. I'm a hermaphrodite. So now they're all in and they're all under one umbrella and I don't know if pedophiles are going to get in under that umbrella, but this is their first chance to go, this is
how God made me and that's it. The difference is it's illegal. Yeah. I think that's the big one. That's what's going to prevent it from being a mainstream. Whereas, you know, the transgender thing is sort of leading into acceptance. There was a time though that these other things that we now accept were also. Right. But also making the slippery stuff. Yeah. No, but I love what? Pottspan. Pottspan illegal for the last 80 years and everyone smoked pot. Nobody judge and they got pot like, you know, I didn't care for a guy I said, he's getting high. We judge. The guy says I want to introduce you to my pippy long stock. I don't know. I don't know. All I'm saying is this is the first step. You not be surprised if 10 years from now, this is not hidden away and it is maybe possibly even a movement. That's all I'm saying. Now where are we? Ah, yes. Go to my PC.

All right. Let's take ourselves a quick break. We got some more news going. We got some more tales from the cheap, the Halloween version. Because Halloween is, it's really, it's for pedophiles as we've figured out. It's also for slutty chicks who have hot bodies and a little rough around the face, but nice racks and nice bodies.
Better faces. That's what we call. Yeah, better faces. But just hot chicks, hot young chicks. It's good for that. It's good for almost cut loose and slutted up. Good for do she dudes who have, who look good in their underpants when they go as bam bam or something like that, you know what I mean, a tarzan. And, uh, Conan. And also good for super cheap families who now get out the fucking tinfoil in the cardboard and put 22 man hours to save $8. That's what I like. All right. We'll take a quick break. It tales from the cheap, more news all after that. Visit the telefund page at AdamCirola.com and help us spread the word. I'm dying. I'm screaming in the car. Adam Carola for president. Oh, scary, scary tales from the cheap. Yeah, that the, uh, nothing brings out the cheap like Halloween because not only do you
get to make stuff for yourself or your kids or whatever and like I said, put in 22 hours saving yourself $9. But it's, it's, it falls under the heading of frivolous, meaning when the transmission goes in your car, in your cheap, there's not that much you can do other than have your transmission fixed. Now you can try to fix it yourself, but if you don't work on transmissions, you're in a real hard time. Even the cheapest person would not crack a transmission case open and have a bunch of gears and splines and things fall out. There's a cheap version where you go and you pull a transmission from pick apart and put it in your car, but you still have to have tools and you still have to be handy. There's just no two ways about it. So your cheap transmission goes, you find the cheapest place to fix it and you pay them to fix it. But Halloween costumes, not necessary. That does not get you to work in back in the morning.
It's just one of those. It could be super cool or who cares? Make me some juice. And if you are cheap and you don't want to buy one, then you can make one. Meaning it'd be like the equivalent of someone going, would you like to get your transmission fixed correctly or would you like to just make a paper mache one that would get you to work in back in which case the cheap person would go, give me the chicken wire. I'm making the paper mache. And who's mom made them a prom dress from some kind of pattern? Ooh. Oh, yeah, like pretty pink. I knew I'd seen that somewhere. She'd do it out of her curtain. No, mom is dead. Oh, right. You know what bothered my mom about that movie, Pretty and Pink? I remember we saw it together. The drunken abusive dad? No, not that. That Andy was supposed to be so poor, but she had her own car. Did that bump you? I didn't have a car when I was in high school. She's driving a Carmen gear. That's right. So she could get to her job with Annie Potts. Yeah, I love that. Fiona.
I love that. Well, first off, Pretty and Pink, her dad, Harry Dean Stanton, who's like Haggard Dean Stanton, like every role he plays just Haggard dad. Yeah. Yeah. Undrinked. Everything would be like she's making him eggs while he's smoking and drinking rye out of a coffee mug. And she's like, Dad, are you going to look for a job today? And he'd be like, I don't think so. It's pretty tough out there. And it's like, yes, that's called no count drunken deadbeat dad. Okay, dad, well, I love you. Here's your eggs. Like, why wasn't Harry Dean Stanton looking? I know Mama passed away or Mama left. And they lived by the railroad tracks and everything. But why was he not looking for a job? And then like she'd come home and he'd still be in his underpants and wife, beat her smoking? And she never got tired of it. Just like, okay, daddy. I'm going to make you a sandwich now. Yeah. But the best part of that whole thing. Andrew McCarthy? Well, that's true.
But the best part is when they're having that conversation. Listen, sport. She's not one of us. You understand? We got money. We drive expensive automobiles. She's only driving a Carmen Gia. Sure. Carmen Gia is an Italian coach builder. But it's got a flat, four-air cooled motor in it. It's a Volkswagen. All right. Yeah, it's imported. Yeah, it's a two-seater. Yeah, again, Carmen Gia. It's Italian sports. It's a coach builder over there. And Carmen Gia, they also build nice Italian-bodied luxury cars and forars and things like that. But you know what? She's not one of us. Was that the director's cut? Yeah, I'm doing a little extra talk. I'm trying to think what else Carmen Gia, or Gia, Gia built Italian super like crazy. Italian bodywork, coach village. But here's one. When I was in high school, there was not poor and rich. There was not halves and have nots.
There was hot and not hot. There was cool and not cool. I didn't even have that. I mean, there was just chicks you wanted to see naked and those you didn't want to see naked. And it had nothing to do. I didn't have to see like any recent pay stubs from their dads. It was just that chick's hot. Plus when you're high school, the second list is very short. Right. Girls you don't want to see naked? Yeah, but I will give you an example. Allison, take this in the spirit in which it was intended. I'm leaving the room. No, no, no, no. No. My high school had this combination. My high school had white trash, which were are the best looking people. Had some Mexican and some white trash. Yeah, yeah, yeah, because later on the smoking and the drinking and the whatever takes over. Right. But at this point, there was a whole bunch of chicks named Lori who were hot. L-O-R-I with a heart on the eye. That's right.
Even above and below the eye on occasion. They're hot. And then there were the rich chicks. The rich chicks were the chicks who lived up in Hebrew Heights. And they were the ones that kind of looked like their moms, or at least they kind of dressed like them. They seemed, even though they were like 16, they seemed like they were in their 40s. You know those women? Where's the part that's insulting to me? Well, they were of the Jewish persuasion. I know. And they had that sort of very conservative, not quite. They didn't look like the super hot chicks in the valley, but yet the valley chicks were dumbest stumps and were soon to be pregnant and soon to be married to an alcoholic. But there were plenty of chicks that had money that were up in the hill. They were young milves. A couple hotties. Yeah, but I mean, they were just kind of, I don't know how to describe it other than they looked like they were 40 when they were 16. None of my friends were hot on the tail of the chicks that lived up in the hill who looked like their mom.
It was quite the opposite. They were hot on the tail of the poor chicks who lived in the apartments down in the valley, because they weren't going to marry them and they weren't starting a small business. They're trying to get laid. And that was about it. So, you just wanted the hottest chick who lived over here, but it wasn't like, her dad, as part of this law firm, he can make a few phone calls. I can network with him. There was like none of that. And as far as the kind of car they drove, everyone just drove their parents' car. Yeah, the class warfare, that's a thing invented in movies and books, because outsiders was the same way it was socials and greasers. Like, they just wasn't that in real life. First off, nobody knew, and everyone was either rich or poor, but it didn't matter. Everyone was just in high school. It was like saying, it was like being in prison and being rich or poor. It was like, who the fuck cares? You're just all in the same place. Like, I mean, I understood there are certain kids who went to Hawaii during the summer break and that kind of stuff. But in general, it's just everyone went to the same high school.
Let's have the best looking two examples of kids get together and try to fuck. Is it because the money thing is a concern of the people who are writing it? The people who write the books and write the screenplays and do all this kind of stuff. The Hollywood ones are not jocks because jocks can't spell and they can't string together sentence. They were the nerds. They made themselves feel like outsiders. They do that same thing where it's like, I was picked on every day. Like really? I was beaten up every day because, you know, whatever. And the round of the is some of that went down, but that's more the way they felt than then was actual reality. And then so they now surround themselves with more nerds and more non-jocks and more non-hot chicks from Kanoga Park. And then they put these stories together and they're in front of a pretty sympathetic group of ears who go, aha, that's how it is. So, jock is an asshole.
Jock is a blonde asshole. And the poor kids are spit upon because they're frowned upon and spit on because they don't look like we do and they don't, whatever. And the reality is, is I only knew good looking and unattractive. I never knew who had money and didn't care. You never went into the cafeteria and stuck your big finger into some nerds mashed potatoes? I wouldn't even go into the cafeteria. No, I've said many times, the jocks don't know who nerds are just like supermodels don't know who guys who beat off to their posters are. That's the whole point. It's not like they storm into the guys apartment and go like, hey, Tim, knock it off. That's my poster. It's supposed to be titillating yet. Yes, but you discussed me. What you do, it's discussing what you do it. No, they don't know. It's the ultimate slap in the face. They don't know who you are. Nobody knew Ray was a jock. He didn't know who the unknown people were.
That's the whole point. You're unknown. That's the way it goes. It's like saying celebrities are mad at the people that take pictures of them at the airport. They're not mad at them. They want them to get out of the way, but they don't know who they are. They don't know their names. No, jocks don't know the nerds. They would pick on them if they thought there was something in it for them, but there's nothing in it for them. Jocks beat the shit out of jocks. That's the part no one really understands. You know what it becomes like? It's like a bunch of rams. I don't mean the football team. On the side of the mountain. That's right. There's the alpha male and there's the leader guy or silverback or rilla, whatever it is. Then there's a young upstart and they go at it. They go at it. They don't have the undersized ones going at it with them. They don't engage. They just walk past them in the hall. In movies, they hit them with their shoulder and they knocked their books down.
Like out of the way, nerd, but their alias is they're just walking thinking about getting laid throwing touchdown passes. They don't have any of that. It's worse than abusing nerds. They don't know who they are. The worst thing you can say. All right. So it's even worse than we thought. All right. Now where are we? Oh, yeah. Pretty pink. That's right. Oh. You were talking about how cheap people get or how poor people get creative on Halloween. That's right. We got some an intro here. 20-year-old Tupperware, homemade clothes, powdered eggs. It's time for tails from the cheats. Oh, man. Someone's mom made a costume and a fabric from the back of an old sofa at times. Jake? Eighth man. It's going on, Jake. Yeah.
When I was eight or nine, I wanted to be Frankenstein for Halloween. And I had my eye on a nice plastic costume from the five and nine. Sure. And my mom, she's like, yep, yep. We're going to be Frankenstein going to be Frankenstein. And when the day came, she had made a nice jacket from me. It was green, like fuzzy Frankenstein jacket. It didn't hit me right away. And then, like a week later, I would not sit there and I had realized that it was when the couch don't sit there, did not have any fabric on the back of the couch. She tore it off. She had fashioned. She fashioned my Frankenstein jacket from the fabric from the back of the couch. She actually harvested like a donor couch. She harvested the material behind the couch so that the couch could still be used, but the back of it.
What was up with Frankenstein, by the way, like in his green felt outfit, like they have a pool table that they pulled the cover off of? It was like a green felt outfit, wasn't it? You're talking about the monster Frankenstein? Was it green? He was green. He was black in white film. So, there's only been a redness. What was it later on in black? And he was green? Yeah, his sits back. But I think that was sort of schlocky, like Fred Gwynn type stuff. I mean, in the movie, he was a reanimated dead tissue. He was just kind of gray. It was gray. Yeah, he was a, he was dead off from the green part. I think it's just cartoon stuff. Oh, cartoon. I think so. That's my, some of my greatest influences. Well, everything I've learned, I've learned from the hair bear bunch. All right, let's see. Dad was too cheap. Let's see. Mom, costumes. Let's see. Ah. Bags of rice. I gotta talk to Henry Henry. Hey, hey, hey, man. Get it on. Calling from Montreal?
Yeah, yeah. Nice. What's going on? Yeah, so when I was younger, I was actually too cheap to like, by candy at the store film. And she actually just got little did block bags and those are most bright. And she gave you by the way, so I was fairly out of way of treating those little triggers readers. Um, cooked rice. I'm assuming how it was raw. It was completely raw. So she's like handing it out like it was currency. DIY. Yeah. Uh, there is a weird thing. I, there is a guy, it's sort of a cop out, but I, I didn't mind it when I was a kid. It would just give you a nickel. Like, it's like, fuck it. I didn't go to the store, but here's a nickel. Here's that guy handing out the rice though. Yeah, first off, you're cementing a very ugly stereotype. Number one, number two, what are the chances they're going to go either pass a wedding on the way back to their house or go home or go home and cook the rice?
Is here? No, what's your nationality, Henry? I'm Korean, but I know it. Uh-huh. That in Baruch, you as a young Korean living in Montreal. No, I actually grew up in L.A. I just used to hear our recently. Oh, really? Yeah. Yep. What'd you guys do over here, run a liquor store? No, my dad is actually a US custom, uh, your favorite, actually. Other US customs? Yeah, they're delights. Mr. Personally. Uh, what's up with Koreans? Why do they so mean? Oh, he's perfect for that. I have no idea. Is it the climate? What's going on over there? They're tough. Yeah, yeah. They're, they're, they're, they're fucking tough. They're like the, the badgers of the, uh, Asian world. Not Jovial. They don't have great senses of humor and they're fucking tough. They're good for customs agents. Yeah, it's everything you want a custom agent. It's not chatty. All business. All business.
Good with the gun. Mm-hmm. He lets his frown do his talking. So is your, was your dad a nice guy? Was he tough on you growing up? Yeah, you know, when he was younger, he was in the, uh, the army for a while. So you kind of a little military dad kind of first and so. Yeah, I guess so. Mm-hmm. What's going on with Korean now? Let's see. North Korea, what's going on over there? I mean, I've never even been to Korea. I've, I've born and raised in L.A., but I really can't tell you anything about that. Mm-hmm. And now you went from L.A. to Montreal. Yeah, yeah, actually, I saw you during the summer with the High Mandela, just the last. Oh, that was fun. Yeah, I'm glad you came out. So why did you go, why did your family go from L.A. to Montreal? Oh, my dad, you got transferred to the Montreal Airport because you come from to the, yeah. All right. That'd be good, right? To get out of L.A. X and go to Montreal.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I guess a lot quieter here, I guess. Mm-hmm. That's right. See, I didn't know when I was in Montreal, I didn't know that they weren't huge fans of Americans over there. I thought that was just some kind of weird stereotype or something. Is that true? They're not, they're not huge, they're super progressive and they're not big fans. I don't think they're big fans of folks from the US over there, the French. I mean, yeah, that's a good point. It hurts a really fun town. Yeah, it's great town. I think the French part is the part that's pissed off about. And as I've said, the French part, they are pissed off at us because we've shamed them. That's why they're pissed. I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. They fucking, and listen, all you assholes that are out there like, what about the French resistance? Great. Those were nine guys. I'm talking about entire, entire fucking country that rolled over. Talking about France, not a handful of fucking
battle-tested Frenchmen and braids who were fucking running shit and tunnels. I'm talking about the entire fucking, I know why they hate English guys because English people, England shamed the shit out of them because they dug in while they were getting fire bombed every night and every fucking plane took off from France. So France and France rolls over, gives the Germans a nice landing strip and then they get to take off and land in Bomb England and everyone's pissed off at me, but that's what happens. They were shamed. That's why they don't like us. I always look forward most in the segment to Michael Lynch's tales from the chief because he always seems to one up the audience no matter what the stuff. You have a, you have a, yeah, I got a couple Halloween. Couple Halloween. Well, you know, digging into both my own memories and my sister who bore the brunt of the chief and us being the first. I've told this before, but one year went out as a Hershey kiss and that was composed of a bike tire around her waist and a garbage bag.
So it was right from the neck down. It's so creative. Yes. I did go as a mad scientist one year. My dad was a chemist. So we were able to get cheap paper lab coats. So I had the lab coat tore it up a little bit a little bit of red lipstick. Yeah, sure. Made a mad scientist, right? Did anyone figure that out? I had the hairspray hair with a little flower in it. So I was, you know, it worked a little bit better. Sister and her friend went as Simeez twins one year which was two T shirts. Right. Oh, always forgot about the sewed together T shirt one. Now, of course, this would all be, we would go out with pillowcases. Right. Oh, yeah, yeah. We always said, no, yeah. Over their heads to hide their shame. We always had the pillowcase too. It was never, there was no such thing as that plastic pumpkin thing with that handle on it. I enjoy it because I just bought the Trixie her first, you know, pumpkin, buck 25. And she's like, yeah, a little too rich.
Well, yeah, but you have to adjust for inflation when it was 31 cents back in the fucking day. I know, and not only this, but you also remember, like we didn't have backups of anything. Like when I went out with a pillowcase, you would take the pillowcase off of your pillow. If in fact your pillow had a pillowcase on it, I don't really remember us splurging for a case for the pillow, but you take the pillowcase off, go out and trick or treat with it. And then when you were done empty it out and put it back and it wasn't like I'm going to- You didn't just cut open the pillow on poor out the feathers? I should have. No, it's not like I'm going to the linen closet and getting a pillowcase to go trick or treating with. And I could remember going camping. When I went camping, not with my parents, of course, as a kid or even as a teen, I would bring the blanket from my bed. And then I would go camping. And then when I got home, my blanket had like pine needles in it and smelled like a smoked sausage because I was next to the fire. But it was like, wasn't go get your extra blanket
or your pillow or God forbid your mummy bag, your sleeping bag. Yeah, now it's just go get the blanket. Ugh. So, Mark talked to you earlier about the hobo costume that was a perennial. That was a staple. You know, we definitely, little bandana, you got yourself a bindle. How about the, yeah, so there was like the sewing together or the two things. How about the super distasteful sort of too soon? Like the John Benet Ramsey kind of, you know, the person, there's always that one fucking person that's like, you're like, I mean, like nine months after they find your body. Like, who are you like John Benet? The nine, the annoying people you meet on Halloween and one of them is the too soon guy. The one who does it way too soon. Like I'm sure there'll be an Aurora shooter costume. And not only is it too soon, it's too soon about a chick who would be seven and a half today. Not, you know, you're not talking about the Lindbergh baby.
Didn't that have on a TMZ? I don't know, try to do that. Yeah, it was slutty job in a, no kidding. No kidding, Anthony or something. Or it was Haley or someone. It was, yeah, slutty, Kaley. Kaley Anthony, like, oh my fucking God. This was a seven year old that was killed. Yeah. A year ago, like, I mean, when the person wouldn't be 10 if they had not been snuffed out prematurely by now, it just to be a statute. Yeah, like I said. I'd be a 10 or 11 year old. Yeah, do it, do it. Definitely do with the Lindbergh baby, but you can't do it about somebody who wouldn't not be in the third grade by now. I won as the Abu Ghred Prisoners one year, a couple months after that happened. Tastesful. Yeah, I was, I had the electrodes in my fingers and I had the whole sheet over my head. Really? Yeah, that's right. Yeah, that's still alive. That's not too soon, right? There's still a lot. Yeah, I'm doing fine. I kind of hate Halloween. Anyone else? Yeah. Yeah. What do you mean Halloween? I don't like dressing up. I don't like carbs. I mean, I like them, but, you know. And there's too much pressure. It's sort of quietly new year's eve
because there's a lot of what are you gonna do? What are you gonna be? And I don't want to have to deal with that. There's a sweet spot in your 20s where Halloween's awesome because it's parties, it's drinking, it's girl. Well, you know, a girl, but for us, is girls dressed up in slutty costumes and stuff. Cause a sweet spot for sure. There is. And now for me, it's fun with the kids and taking them out and doing all that. So it is a sweet spot, then it goes south for a while, then if you have kids your own, it comes back. Yeah, I'm writing that law. Wait a minute, Crystal's calling from a soul south Korea. What the hell? Well, just talking about that. Crystal? No. Hi. Hey, are you calling from South Korea? Yeah, I totally am. It's weird, right? Yeah. Yeah, it's 715 in the morning. And I wanted to call you guys. Freak out. So what's going on over there in Korea? Why is everyone so mean? I'm sorry. You know what I'm saying? I couldn't hear you. You totally just. All right. What's going on in North Korea?
What's going on in North Korea? Probably starvation. I don't know. I don't know. They're really low key about stuff, I guess. Right. And what year is it like that we can't just announce, say maybe this brand of government is not quite working out for the hungry people? Like, is it too soon to judge? Can we just fucking judge and just go, hey, knock it off? Yeah, no, you could have judged like a long time ago. I mean, I judged a long time ago. All right. So, uh, so North Korea piece of shit. Yeah. South Korea nice, right? Yeah, totally nice, totally modern. Right. West Berlin nice, East Berlin piece of shit. Like, when do we get to, there's anyone else do that A and B math whatsoever? All right. Anyway, living there probably do. I'm sure they do. So, what do you do over there in Seoul? Well, I'm just visiting the motherland. I just wanted to live here for a couple of years just to see what it was like. I don't know.
I'm young enough to do it. Mm-hmm. So, yeah. How is it? It's great. It's great. I'm, it's a total cultural difference. There are people, they people who literally people spit in restaurants. In restaurants. On the floor. Oh. And people like blow their nose straight onto the floor. It's, but not, it's not like everybody does it. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's for the, what's up? I don't know. I don't know. It's why they do that. And there's a root. And when you bump into people, you don't say, excuse me. You just kind of, all right. Hold on. They're ugly Americans. What? I've said this a million times, Koreans are like the meanest people on the planet. And everyone's like, ah, but I just mean they're, okay. Let's call them tough or something. Onery, rugged, gritty. Gritty. I don't know. Flemmi.
Flemmi. Hard driven. Look. It's, it's, it's pretty simple. There's a million different breeds of dogs. Some are, my, they're pit bulls. Easier going than others and some are a little bit more aggressive than others. Some were delicious. And some are more delicious than others. I've always said to Koreans, we're like tough and mean. And what is going on with the Koreans? What do you mean? Well, other cult, other Asian cultures don't blow their snot rockets on the restaurant bump into you and not saying anything. They bump into you and they bow and they yell thousand times. Maybe a million. No, not over here. You seriously? It's, I don't know. What's it like? So many of our night, most people are rude. It's, they're nice to, they're nice to you if you're in a circle. But if you don't know them, they're rude as fuck. Do women and men hawk logies on the floor? No, no, no, no, no. Only the men. Only the older men. Oh, well, no, no, no. All the men hawk logies on the floor, women don't usually do that. And the older men like hawk their snot onto the floor.
How do they, you should work for the tourism board. You got to put together a post guy. How do they treat the ladies over there? Well, it's different than back in the day. I guess back in the day when you're on a crowded subway, you always got like your ass touched or something. But I mean, I haven't gotten my ass touched yet on the subway. So I mean, I guess things are getting better. Mm-hmm. Are they, are you, is it a big problem with getting 73 yen? I don't know what you guys are doing over there. Dracma. What do you guys spend over there? One. Oh, that's going to be hard to work into a sentence because it sounds like one. But are you getting 73 cents to the dollar kind of thing? I don't think it's 73. I'm not sure. But I mean, most of my money is like in American dollars. So it just, I just benefit off of it. Is it sort of, is it a misogynistic culture? Absolutely.
Absolutely. Of course. Okay. All right. So listen, here's the thing. I, I don't do any research, you know. I don't ask questions. No, I just announce that certain cultures are fucked up and everyone goes, oh, I don't know anything about the Korean culture. I've just know that when the shfarts is riot, they're on the roof with the hunting rifles. That's what I know. And everyone else is heading for the hills and they're heading for the roof with the 30 out six. So that's what I know. And that's, I know. And then I talk to people and they're tough. And they're like the grittiest possibly meanest Asian culture. There is, but I don't know why that part I can't figure out. And people do has a lot of war and it's cold. But I feel like it's cold and there's a lot of war in a lot of places. And then it shoots not rockets. What I want to know is is crystal accepted over there or is she seen as American? How they like you over there, crystal. People think I'm Japanese here because I don't look conventionally Korean.
So they just kind of mumble their limited English to me. And I reply back in Korean. They're weirded out. And so I'm pretty much treated as a foreigner here. Uh-huh. And how's that? Is that all right or is that bad? No, it's totally great because when someone comes up to me and wants to solicit something to me, I can just tell them I don't speak Korean. Uh-huh. And I can get away with it. I love it. I don't know. I find it very advantageous. Now, how do the Koreans think of the Japanese? Uh, they have, I can't speak for the entire Korean people, obviously. Oh, sure you can. Good. I mean, generally, of course, they hate the Japanese, but they also love the Japanese in my opinion. It's a love and hate relationship. Yeah, they want what they have, but they don't like them. Yeah, maybe a little bad blood still from a world board. Probably.
All right. Uh, so, uh, your mom is, uh, how cheap? My mom. All right, get there. My mom, let me just give you a slight background on her. When I needed glue in school, she told me to use grains of rice on paper. Wow, it'll be coming to a theme. Uh, like the starch from the rice would create. Yeah. So you would just spread the right. Use your grandfather's snot rocket. Yeah. And he's like, wow, you need something. I got something. I'll hold that shit to the fridge here and look. But, uh, yeah, she was telling me he's grains of rice to like six pieces of like my art projects are whatever together. So in the fourth grade, David for Halloween, you know how, oh, in that she schools, they have that like Halloween parade where you parade around the school or whatever. Like mom, tomorrow's Halloween, like what am I supposed to do? She's a busy single mother and um, she gave me a camera and guess what I was supposed to be.
I like this. At Asian tourists. Nice. Nice. Yeah. Yeah. And also, yeah, I mean, perpetuating the stereotype and that's not that long ago. Right. I mean, how long will you hold? How old are you? You're 24 now. How old were you at the time? I was, what is fourth grade like nine years old? Yeah. So we're really, we're only talking about like 15 years ago. And 15 years ago is like 1997. That's a stereotype for 97. All right. And what about your dad? He Korean? Um, he's actually Chinese. Uh-huh. Like I said, I was raised with a single mother. I was pretty much raised by my grandparents. And they were Korean. So I'm pretty much Korean. Yeah. When he coming back to the States. Well, my visa expired in about two years. I actually just moved here end of August. Hmm. I'll meet you at the airport. I'll pick you up.
Thank you. Christian. Thanks, I had fun over there sweetie. I don't know. Are you working over there? Hey, everybody! Oh, hey, Bob's easy with the snout rocket. Got him off that shit up. Yeah! Put your grin and drop your linen. We got crystal. That's a real name. ha ha have had yeah where you work uh... im actually just have uh... programme i wanted a i was working on a really mechanical people played back in tape coron as is what ever one in and then so now i'm just trying to find because ok Enjoy Thank you about the snout rockets. Yeah, that's not a good cultural thing that old guys with a snout
I would last for half a day. I would die But it's my least favorite thing ever is seeing people's loovies. Yeah me too. Yeah me too listening on the street Or in your salad bar When they're bubbly like fresh and bubbly Oh is when you step on them and you hydroplane just a little bit like you do that just like you got steer into it Yeah, although she's out. Yeah, we're a Dawson you still have this whole Lugi pond over here by the side of the thing where it's like I'm just gonna go here and smoke and hawk luggies and then you can walk through them on your way to car It's a fucking shrub five feet in front of him. I don't know why you turn to the green lagoon Yeah, you just hawk it into the shrub that's directly in front of you Now I'll just hawk it onto the ground and there's such a spectrum of colors. They can be from fluorescent yellow to just clear Which clear and bubbly is actually better because it's not infected I mean to be fair to Dawson some people do enjoy other people's loovies. Oh no, wait a minute
It discussed everybody on a fucking planet. Yeah glad to come back though dude All right, where the hell were we should we do some news? Yeah, let's do some news She reads some news from her iPad some time this goes sometimes it's bad at Allison And when it's time to wrap it up she'll sign it off with zip it cut it's Allison Let me tell you something about luggies Once in a fucking blue moon and I don't have I'm not a lugi guy I don't have I'm not a mucus person. I can't spit But once in a blue moon something'll happen I don't know cold little flam or something and I'll just do I you know inhale I'll send I'll feel like look like I got a lugi I got a lugi and I'll be somewhere like out in the sidewalk in New York or something where there's just no where to go with this thing in my mouth I'll spit it you know off the sidewalk on the street and then I I will disperse it with my foot like I will not let anybody
be a part of my this green puck Leave them on the fucking sidewalk who are they well? I know who they are the Austin but who else does this fucking thing? Why don't okay? This is probably disgusting, but why don't you just swallow it? I've never in my life. Hock the lugi. I've seen other women do it And I thought what are I missing out on but I can't get that far there was one time I was very sick I was about eight years old and I woke up and there was like something brown and viscous stuck to my Like down and I assume I coughed something up in the night. Mm-hmm. That's the closest I've come to any sort of lugi thing And that was hours later so it sort of started drying this dude don't swallow. It was like a resin Yeah, really though. That's what I do. I I I understand Understood Daniel's a lucky man. I Have this thing where if it's like in me it's I want it to come out of me because I don't want this
It feels almost homo-rotic for me to ingest myself this way Feels weird to me and I want to get out but I will do it in such a way Well, you'll never know the better. Yeah, I will find a space for it I will find like I said a shrub or something some dirt somewhere something I certainly will not You should rent a lugi from the city. Yes. All right. So Obama Halloween masks are outselling Romney Halloween masks 60 40 60 40. Yeah, now I don't know if we can predict anything by this this article wants to predict that that has to do with the popularity of them I don't know but Would you ever be a president for Halloween? It feels so feels kind of Uncreative. Yeah, and Yeah, go ahead, Brian. Do yourself a favor never do Halloween with a mask Yeah, I'm a drink or to talk who is that who is that in this hot sweat go do something where you don't need a mask Yeah, and you always see the guy at the fucking sweaty head and then because he went as Obama
But he took the mask off. He ditched a mask two hours ago Yeah, now it's a guy just standing in a blue suit You know, have it over your head half the time. They're like what are you supposed to pull it down? It's sometimes they just get rid of it like it's just hang out their wife's purse and then they're just standing there in a blue suit And then you're asking what they were I was and then they're sitting eating and drinking Yeah, do yourself a favor. Well here's an article. This is from the first meeting which is nine people maybe they just want with the Obama one For robbing banks later It's very racist, but think about it You know what I mean? I want to pin it on the black guy, right? Probably probably that's probably it. It's called social commentary Here's nine people you'll meet at a Halloween party and we've already talked about some of them One the guy who's not dressed up and really wants to tell you why not annoying people or is not people yeah? Yeah, and this is like the person where you say why aren't you dressed up? And then he says I'm a serial killer. They look just like everyone else. So
The people who do the clever costumes fuck them hate them like I remember there was someone one year who was wearing a slip and smoking a pipe A Freudian slip Oh, I kind of like clever things but not clever No, that's bad the the worst are the couples Yeah, I mean where you need your better half to join in to form whatever the fuck you're doing Wait my sister went though she went as Dorothy and her husband went at the lion Do they fall under that category? Yeah, she sucks anyway Okay, the person whose costume severely restricts their ability to move I feel like this might be like the playing card costume Yeah, or the one that just gets in your way to like I'm the letter W and then they turn around and knock shit over Yeah, like why what is that? one Now I hope you mentioned fat chick who showing your cleavage off I think there is somewhere someone like that in here. Okay, then there's the person that in the too soon costume We talked about that. Yeah, the sexy blank. That's I mean, that's everyone right
Let's see the person who obviously hates Halloween. Oh, that would be me The person who's wearing a dress and a woman's wig and thinks it's the funniest costume in history Yeah, that's the guy. Oh, it's a guy right the person who made every single part of their costume Yeah, the person who approaches Halloween as a method actor So this is like the person who yes the person who speaks like Marilyn Monroe I was mr. T the entire time I was mr. T So well when you did it, I'm sure it was great. Okay, I've been fooled and enjoyed Mm-hmm, and the person who got drunk and took off all the identifying parts of their costume That's like the Obama without the mask right, but yeah, the the person you're talking about that would be the sexy whatever Yeah, well, no I'm talking about the chick who Doesn't have much of a figure but because she's got an extra 30 pounds on her does have the enhanced rack And then just shows off the rack run us off fair girl. Renaissance fair girl. Yeah, Ren fair
Did you guys ever go to ren fair? Oh? There's a field trip my freshman year in high school I went when I was young before I realized it was a whole thing Mm-hmm I got sucked up into some sort of to panga days fair which turns into some sort of default Renegate a renaissance fair renegative renaissance fair But yeah chunky last with the big knockers who this is the couple days there's a couple days out of the year She can show off the big knockers and the rest is gonna be layered over Yeah, so you won't notice that and everyone's girdled Yeah, everyone's gonna have enough booze in them where they just might give it a run That is not sexy chick like sexy cat or sexy whatever cop or sexy that that's a different that's full That's that's that's soup to nuts that's stem to stern That's that's scowped the tootsies Silver lining though. I do appreciate when you know, maybe the girl who normally is in the knock-em-o-year round
You know emphasizes the best parts, you know, I'm saying it takes advantage like oh this is I can you know This is my time to shine. I can make this work. I can dig it. It is it's there. It's their chance Yeah, yeah, there is no thing where it's like hey, you know I don't have six pack abs or very big dick, but I've huge balls and once the air gets it Just hang my balls out of my pants and attract all the ladies. You know what you should do dress your penis up as a woman at Renfair and make the balls the cleavage That'd be awesome I think I could work that out I have to get a little wax Otherwise it'd be weird a little Heat up the wax Mike see if I can work that one out well warm it up don't eat And dust off my loot Burger King Japan is selling a pumpkin burger Hmm it's bacon. Let us a beef patty a creamy nut sauce with sesame seeds peanuts almonds cashews and hazelnuts The bun is meant to be shaped as a pumpkin and it has two slices of
Cabocha which I'm probably prancing wrong which is Japanese pumpkin I don't know how I feel about that. All right. Here's what I want to say two things I have two ideas They're both gonna go against each other one is I want there to be a International McDonald's or Burger King or whatever which says all that weird shit they serve Including like beer or anything else. I want there. I want there to be the one like all right. There's a franchise You know there's Los Angeles probably has 28 to 156 McDonald's. I mean, you know every quarter mile you're gonna pass the McDonald's no big deal They all have exactly the same thing once a while they tossed the mick rib curveball at you or the shamrock shake But by and large you're all exactly same. I could dig the one McDonald's like they put one up on city walk or something or down at the farmers market the flagship International no, this is the international McDonald's
And they just go look this is all this is their quarter pounder. This is their this really serve in Japan and over here And you can just go over there and just go get funky with it Yeah, it's a little high sort of like a food court that has food from around the world But just McDonald's right and see what the cultural little twists and nuances were that I could dig the other thing And this is gonna go against what I just said The whole idea to being Burger King or McDonald's is to turn The rest of the world into ugly Americans and us taking their weird Indigenous fruits or foods or cultures and weaving it into our burgers is not part of the deal We're there to make them into ugly Americans We should get them onto big Macs and quarter pounders Not ones that are made with the just a little bit of their cultural whatever Converted right. That's right. We're there to convert them now the thing about this burger if you look at the photo And I'm sure this would be up on the website
Eventually is the creamy nut sauce looks like a little painter's easel. Yeah, yeah Also, I don't trust the sauce that these guys put on these burgers I'm always like how good first off how bad for you can it be number two They always put too much and always feels like a little bit of an apology Like you got burger you got bacon you got lettuce you got tomato I don't need the hickory chipolte or whatever. That's an apology I got beef and I got bacon. I got a pig and a cow fucking between these two buns Now you got to give me your weird southwest ranch fucking whatever sauce Bullshit make a good burger and make good bacon. We don't need the sauce I feel that all dressings and sauces should be served on the side. I'm with you But if you have an unpopular opinion if you ever ask for them on the side you never get them right They it's impossible. I'll tell you why because I used to work at McDonald's and I used to work the colking gun to shot the secret sauce
I know it sounds like a you from ism from a junk By the way get that wax gone And once you make Thousand of these things a day you get the special order that says no secret sauce All you got when you work at those places is pure muscle memory Your fucking mind goes a million miles away and you just sit there making 249 an hour just Doing all that just repetitive motion stuff and if you ever order the no secret sauce You'll see that it's been wiped off yeah, because you'll never stop that muscle memory Because if you had to stop and think about what you're doing no withdrawal method with that every burger would take an hour And you would kill yourself That's the news. I'm Allison Rosen happy Halloween cunts oh That was the news with Allison Rosen All right, this the print baby this the print.com. They got Business cards you need a business card. They got thousands of designs you can choose from you can upload your own artwork
And did I mention this before? 250 top quality business cards just ten bucks ten bucks half off the regular price But you got to let them know you heard it here you give them the code ace and you get the cars again I just do it I mean do it. I'd use I've thrown it people I'd use them for coasters. I pick my teeth with them I don't care find out which big company like big corporation gets the most corporate discounts around like other corporations I just make up business cards that say you work for them. Oh work for IBM. All right, then drop them in the fishbowl Yeah 20% off here and 10% off here. It's kind of pay for itself in a year Oh, wait a minute. That's a good idea Allison and her fishbowl idea When you go to the sub sandwich joint they have that fishbowl where you throw you just get 250 cards Because you can win. I mean, they'll give you a six foot sub or something Just put all 250 cards you mash them in there. Yeah, I have to pick your card Okay for itself if you get expensive sandwich if you get past the six inch and you go into the foot long
And if that comes with a Pepsi you're fucking in the you're in the black at that point And if they're gonna throw in chips Now now you're making money you're welcome. You can't afford not to do this is what I'm saying You literally cannot afford not to get 250 top quality cards And by the way my card would just say where's my sandwich bitch And would show picture of me pissed off like with my arms folded tapping my foot, you know caricature So funny and then just be my home number You know and I do it to every single business around there Free pizzas and go by by the way, but forget about the six foot sub or the six inch sub There's there's trips to Hawaii and stuff. I mean you go to the right fishbowl Oh That's it. That's my new business. So until next time with Santa Croix Ray old hopper that's right and Allison Rosen ball Brian saying Bahala Okay, you know, I don't have six back abs or very big dick, but I've huge balls
And once he gets it just hang my balls out of my pants and attract all the ladies All right, this Adam Cole show 942 coming up next. No, listen, I I appreciate it is yeah because I had the first time Brian and I discussed this uh It'll be seven years at the end of next month. Wow at the end of next month the five six months was sort of the Overunder on when he'd been when he'd join
Uh Richard my Which is paradise. Yeah, so it is nice speaking of which it is actually oh christian are talking about it because we we Everything by the way if any listener wants to go back and listen everything I said was a hundred percent true We have been sitting on this for quite a few weeks. There have been many tests as you can imagine um Christy's actually 16 months along. She's almost halfway done Uh, she's showing a little bit so you guys will see her matti wedding and see her little belly. Is that what you're telling us So it wasn't a gossip. She uh, well, we'd mill pop partially But she also hadn't told her work and it's a weird thing over there because she's in executive And it's an international company and she wanted to tell the the top first and then tell her team and then you know So she wanted to kind of tell them all the right She could take three years off. I wish they don't give her the good the good stuff But it is kind of nice like we were talking about second ago to think that seven years ago almost We we christian I had to tell the people that we love and the people that are close to us this devastating news that Changed our lives forever and we'd probably change their lives and now seven years later to be able to tell them Life changing news in a good way. You know, this is a really exciting moment for us
uh, this was Insemination with or how was this done? Sorry 100% natural wow We yeah, we dropped several tens of thousands of dollars on two rounds of IVF and several rounds of IUI and then decided to take December off because holidays and drinking and traveling and we host a big party every year And it's like, you know, well, let's just take the month off. Well, well, we'll we'll do another round Maybe in the new year and when the pressure is off as with the is the cliche when the pressure is off That's when that's when things happen and we had you know had recreational sex and resulted in the baby as you can imagine Really nervous about you know, oh my god, you know, I'm still on chemo or you're so on you know Avastin and stuff and so we did go through every single test we could possibly subject ourselves to blood tests and ultrasounds and everything and everything has come back just flying colors our baby is growing at a normal rate and looks great and September baby and Do one my birthday
My god, so it's a pretty it's one of those kind of like, you know Coincidences or whatever it is the great magnet, but it's like wow, this is very cool. Good achievement day Good achievement. I'd say you Being around at that point seven and a half years in is is an achievement day Good I still should point out that f big pharma and in Cuba everyone has access to top notch free health care Let me finish long way to go.
