Hope is information. Hope is knowing you've got support from people who've been there. When you or someone you love has been diagnosed with lung cancer, the uncertainty of what's ahead can feel overwhelming. But know this, you are not alone. I am Anstingall, an oncology nurse who leads the patient services and health care delivery team at Longevity Foundation. Here at Longevity, we support patients and caregivers with trusted information, resources and community from the moment of diagnosis through every stage of your journey. And I'm Dr. Misty Shields, a thoracic medical oncologist and physician scientist at Indiana University, School of Medicine and Indiana University Health Physicians. For me, the fight against lung cancer is personal. I lost my dad to small cell lung cancer when I was just 15 years old and I've made it my mission to fight this disease both in the lab

and together with my patients. One thing both Anne and I know, information and hearing from people who've been there can change how you face this diagnosis. That's why we're hosting Longevity's new podcast, lung cancer, Voices of Hope. Each month you'll hear from people living with lung cancer and the experts who support them along the way. Follow lung cancer, Voices of Hope, wherever you get your podcasts to get the information you need and hear from others who've been right where you are.
