I want to share something that really caught my attention as a parent. I've learned that myopia, near-sightedness, is becoming much more common in kids, and it's not something you want to ignore. If it goes unchecked, it can have an impact that goes way beyond schoolwork. What really matters is starting with an eye exam. An eye doctor can tell you what's going on with your child's vision and walk you through options that are designed specifically for kids like Esselaer Stelest Lenses.

I like that Stelest Lenses are made for children and fit right into everyday life. They look like regular glasses, but they're part of a more thoughtful approach to managing myopia. If you're a parent and you've been meaning to book an eye exam, this is your sign. Visit Esselaer.com to learn more about Stelest Lenses and to find an Esselaer expert eye-care professional near you. Every house has a beginning. Our starts with a rebellion. This is not just fashion. This is freedom worn out loud. A place where individuality isn't a look, it's a law. Perfect is boring. The algorithm doesn't know you, you do. A look is never just a look. It's a declaration. It's time to step out and into somewhere new. Step into the house and burl and find a burling to near you. Charles Cross, man. We're going to have a talk this season. How's your off season? It was good. It was good. Quick, but good, though. Did you go anywhere, hanging out with anybody? I went out with my family, took a quick trip. Got back to work.

Where'd you go? What's Hawaii? Hawaii, did you ever been before? I have, yeah. So when you're in Hawaii, are you just sitting on the beach? Are you surfing? Like, what are you doing? You're sitting on the beach, enjoying the sun and the waves hitting the beach. Speaking of waves, man, I was watching tape of you guys in the first game, watching the run game in particular. You guys are on a string on the offensive line. At the snap, coming off the ball in Udistan and fast. Do you feel like there's a difference between the way your offensive lines coordinated this year versus last year? My flight, we know just continuing to grow off last year. We'll just continue to get better for week to week. Really locking down the details and playing together is one. Have you felt any difference with, obviously, Grace Able and I had a full year. You guys are tight. Like, different going into training camp and into the season this year than last year when you hadn't played together? I think, I think about this is just being able to have those really nice training camp throughout practice and really just continuing to build our relationship on and out

of the field. Well, in last year, if I remember right, you had a little bit of a hand or yet some injury that kind of kept you out for a while. That's right. And so this year being able to get more reps, is that helpful? Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. At the end of the time, we can go out there together and get more reps together. It's not going to do it, but it's going to be a long run. All right. You got a new back behind you, Dada'ian Price. What's he like? What would you, what would you, what would you, what's your scouting report on Dada'ian Price? Man, he's a great back. He's fast. Make guys miss. Hi, cute guy. Man, it's almost like a statewide JD. Now, you guys, obviously you lost Sam in the first series and didn't put up a ton of points. What are you hoping to see when you guys get it back out there this coming Sunday? Just, let's plan to go there as a group. Been able to move the ball, squat test down. Hopefully, this is a decent plan to go. There's just 10 signings today also. Just, I'll just plan to go to Willett as a collective group. So I remember talking to you last year that like leadership was something you wanted to

get more into. We're on the leadership council. So two things. One, Mike might kind of put you on blast and you missed one of the leadership meetings. What happened there? Yeah, that was on me. That was on me. It was one meeting with, I had another meeting. So I just went to the wrong meeting. But it's all good though. It's all good. What's it been like being part of that group? It was really cool. Just the guys in that room, been able to learn from them and you heard all the guys speak and it's been great. It's been great. Is there like a leadership style or someone who's a leader who you respect and you learn from? There's so many guys on this team. From cool to Leo, to Jay Reed, to Sam, like all those guys have leased in different ways and it just been able to pick different ways from them. And to me, it's been great. Just being around all the guys. I appreciate you, man. Cheers. Bren and Peely, man. How was the first game for you? It went well.

I'm saying got in there. So first down, got a good taste. So I'm saying good run game and got my bearings under me. So I mean, people know, like past rushers and sacks and past rush win rate and all this stuff. For you, as someone who's like making your living on really stop and run primarily, what do you look for when you go back and look at your tape? Just how I'm striking blocks, how I'm playing the blocks on different plays. Because usually, you know, for a good run defender, they'll know what blocks come with what plays. So I don't really need to look in the back field too much because I already know what play is coming. But yeah, just block recognition, hands and feet footwork. Who's somebody that like you think on this team is the best at block recognition? I don't know, man, the starting three guys, they all got the block recognition down Pat, man. But I think the best at playing double teams got to be a murk, man.

That's probably the best I ever seen. I've heard a lot of people say that. Like, when you're watching it, what do you see there? Like, holy shit, like that's impressive. Just the ability to, you know, get low, get that low and then bounce right back up as if, you know, there's not two guys hanging on you. So, yeah, you know, he's a freak athlete, man. He's a freaking nature. I don't know how he does it in every place. So you guys got one Notre Dame running back on your team. The other one, you're going to be facing this week. What do you see in Jeremiah Love? He's a good back. He can catch, he can run. He's fast. Fast back. And if you don't wrap up and tackle with good technique, he can get out of a lot of tackle. So we have a good tackling plan this week and try to keep him in that box and that phone booth. What about price? Yeah. He's pretty similar, you know, he's got a good burst, but I think he can hit it down

hill a little better than Love. But Love might be a little better on the edges. And then they also got a bit of a banger there, and Tyler, how'd you see with him as back? He's a downhill runner, power back. Same thing, you got to bring your feet, you got to bring low pad level and drive, wrap through the thigh boards with him, you know, saying no arm tackles, no falling tackles, got to be in good position. All right, appreciate you. George Lonnie, man. First of all, congrats on getting back your first game, how did it feel like I got out there? So pretty good, man. Just finally go out there and just play against, you know, other people, other than ourselves. We've been competing and getting after it this whole off season. So just being able to get out there and just finally just let loose. As the only guy that I guess has been running behind this offensive line last year and this

year, do you notice the difference between the way the lines play in this year, like training camp and now versus last year? Oh yeah, I mean, no, we have an old line who has like that mentality where like, not to be messed with. Man, like we have some bad news up front who like don't care at all. Like who's in the front of them? They gonna go out there and they gonna, you know, give it their best every play. How is your running back? How over the years, different lines you play behind all the game back to college, high school, whatever? How does that affect like your planning for a week? Like you're like, okay, I know that the left side is gonna block like this. Does that affect you in terms of how you read a run? Yeah, I mean, having that this old line, definitely the having that chest factor, you know, I can go out there and just chest word of ball is gonna hit, you know, we practice how we play. So, you know, getting those different looks against, you know, the ready squad every day and they're getting really great looks. But our old line is always anticipating it, always being ready to just pick up everything

and then the communication is clear. The run game, past game, they're always, they're always, we're always on the same page, you know, it's easier with having guys doing Sunday out there, being able to just tell us to cause and giving us, you know, all the, all the, all the different cause that a past game helps. Is it a little weird being the OG in the running back room? Like two guys that haven't been here before and you know, you're the guy with the experience? I mean, I hate being called OG, you know, it is being, being like the older guy in the room. But I would say it's definitely a blessing just be able to, you know, help out the ready bags, you know, JD, E-Man, whatever, whatever they need help with, you know, I'm be there for them to make sure we're continuing to grow in this running back room. Yeah, I mean, that's the funny thing, you know, you're young early, your career is still as well. What, what have you noticed? Anything you've picked up like watching Jadari and Price in terms of what kind of back you think he'll be? I mean, we all see it, man. He has juice.

He's that extra notch that, you know, his offense needs. So it's going to be really exciting. Just continue to see him grow and then have more explosives in the run game for sure. What do you want to see from yourself? You know, like obviously you look back at your own film. Where do you want to see a jump for you from week one to week two? For me, just being able to see, you know, creases like, you know, when I'm running power, you know, counter, when I make that initial outside, outside, covering his bouncing out, making sure I'm staying tight to those cuts, getting vertical and then, you know, making, you know, four yard plays into ten yard plays. But continuing to grow, I would say every day just trying to get better in any, every aspect for me is being able to, you know, I know all the plays and know all the schemes and all this stuff, but being able to take it to another level and be more explosive

in these offense. Do you, is that when you're trying to do that, is that more feel like in your practice, like, okay, I'm doing it better? Are you looking at film, like practice film to see, like, how do you assess whether you're getting better in those areas? In the run game for me, a little more tempo, I feel like I'm kind of just running and then not really kind of getting, you know, out of, out of phase with some of the plays, out of the run game. Simple plays like just being able to just pick up my feet your holes, you know, tripping over a line, man, certain stuff like that, just being able to be patient, get my feet over first level and it wants to get to the second level of mix on that. All right, last thing, new running back coach this year. He got a little famous on Hard Knocks. What's been like with the new running back coach for you guys? I'll say he's a, he's different, different coach for sure. You know, brings a lot of juice, it's really intentional in how he coaches us and he's a

player's coach. He can always like, we can always joke around with stuff and it's really cool to see, you know, how much trust we have in him and what he brings to the table for us to help us grow every day.
