From NBC Universal's iconic storytelling to the innovative technology across Xfinity and Peacock, Comcast brings the Olympic Games home to America, sharing every moment with millions. When Team USA steps onto the world stage, we're not just watching, we're cheering together. This winter, we're all on the same team. Comcast, proud partner of Team USA. This is live that Sunday on Vsand, the sports betting network. Go into you from the circus sports book. Here in downtown Las Vegas, I'm Scott Suddenberg. This is live that Sunday here on Vsand, the sports betting network.

You guys can contribute to the program. Hit me up on Twitter at Scots on Air, SCOTS-O-N-A-I-R. Hit us all up on the network at Vsand Live. We're monitoring the action in college basketball, the NBA, NHL, World Baseball Classic. That's right, we are locked and loaded. Here on this Sunday, let's start in college basketball, where we had some tickets punched to the big dance. More tickets continued to be punched. Of course, the smaller conference tournaments winding down, the major conference tournaments will get underway this week. Here's what's going on in progress, specifically in the top 25, where we have a fun battle in the big 10 between two rivals. Number three, Michigan and number eight, Michigan State. This one closed with Michigan about a 10 point favorite here over Michigan State, 10 to 10 and a half. I bet Michigan State earlier when they were a nine and a half point dog, so I got a little negative CLV in this game, but sporty, not only hanging around and looking good for the cover, but I think they're absolutely live to win this game. 51-47 is your score with about 15 minutes

to go here in the second half, and we have to acknowledge, yes, this is a rivalry game. Yes, this is maybe an, you put it, want to put an exclamation point on your regular season finale, but the reality of this game is that it really means nothing to Michigan in the grand scheme of things. Michigan has already clinched the big 10 regular season title. Michigan has already clinched obviously the number one seed in the big 10 conference tournament, and Michigan State has already, yes, clinched a number one seed in the NCAA tournament. The number one seeds are pretty much solidified, if not already guaranteed solidified. Regardless of what happens in their conference tournaments, Duke and Michigan will be one seeds. Arizona will be a one seed as well, and your fourth number one seed is likely going to be Florida. We had that discussion yesterday about how that Yukon loss to Marquette eliminates them from being the number one seed,

and even if they go out and win the biggest, I'm still not giving them a one seed, if Florida wins the SEC, Florida is your fourth number one seed. So, Michigan has nothing to play forward in this game. Yes, they'll have a couple of days off before the quarter final of the big 10 conference tournament, but for Michigan State, looking at the big 10 standings, they're going to be the two seed or the three seed, it doesn't matter. They got double buy already. So, there's nothing to play for in terms of the big 10 standings for them, because it doesn't matter two or three, you're still going to get lined up against Michigan in the championship game, right? And you have the double buy into the quarter final, so you're happy with that. But with a win here today, not only is it a statement victory against your rival, the number three team in the nation in Michigan, but I think a win here today would solidify Michigan State's case to be on the two line in the NCAA tournament. Right now, I think they are a borderline too. A two that could

turn into a three if things don't break their way. Now, if they lose this game to Michigan, it's not the first, it's not really like a punishment for them because they were 10 point dogs, they were already expected to lose this game. But let's say they lose in their first game in the quarter finals of the big 10 conference tournament. I don't know if I can give them a two seed. However, if they win this game today, I think no matter what happens in that quarter final of the big 10 conference tournament, they're a two seed. You get a win here on the road in Ann Arbor against Michigan. You are going to be a two seed in the NCAA tournament, even if they lose in the quarter finals of their conference tournament. So I think this game means more for Michigan State than it does for Michigan. Right now, Michigan with a 53-51 lead with exactly 15 minutes to go here in the game. Your live line up on Drefkings right now is Michigan minus five and a half. And again, Michigan closed as a 10 to a 10 and a half point favorite,

and that's your live line right now. Michigan minus five and a half. They are at the half where number nine Nebraska leads Iowa 30 to 26. And earlier in the big 10 number 11 Illinois, a 78-72 win at Maryland. Elsewhere in college basketball, non top 25 action. We're keeping an eye on the semi-finals of the Socon championship tournament where East Tennessee State has come all the way from down 14 points at the half to take a 69-67 lead over Western Carolina with under, with 11 or so seconds remaining in this game. And so this is, we've had a high scoring second half and right now East Tennessee State outscoring Western Carolina 45 to 29 in that second half. They were down 38-24 at the half coming all the way back to now take a two point lead with 11 seconds

left. There is a foul, so East Tennessee State is heading to the free throw line. From earlier today, some tournament action here in the Missouri Valley Conference. Congratulations to Northern Iowa punched their ticket to the big dance with an 84-69 win over UIC. This game does go over the total was a really low total. I mean, every total today in these conference tournaments just got smashed down like everyone was betting the unders in these conference tournaments. And we've had a bunch of overs here today. So it goes to show you, yes, typically historically, we have looked at these championship games or the semi-final games in these conference tournaments. And we love to play the unders and especially in arch madness, which right now with this game going over, I believe they finished six and five to the over at double check those numbers. But it's not the 10-in-one run that was last year for the unders even though it got off to a three and oh start to the unders here in

this year's tournament. A lot of overs this year and a lot of overs across college basketball here in these conference tournament games despite the numbers being bet down. So Northern Iowa gets the win. Congratulations. They punched their ticket to the big dance again 84-69 the win over Illinois Chicago. High point wins your big South championship with a 91-76 win over Winthrop. That game also going over the total semi-final and congratulations to Queens University. I mean, what a game this was where back and forth it went a couple of collapses by both teams, but Queens University in their first year of eligibility in the Atlantic Sun defeats Central Arkansas in overtime 88 to 93. Obviously that game flew over the total. It didn't regulation anyway. And so Queens University in their first year of eligibility is in the NCAA tournament. So congratulations to them. And we had some drama

in the semi-finals of the Patriot League where Navy coming into this tournament suffered one loss in conference play the entire season. They were 17 and one in the conference. 17 and one they lost to American 65-61. That was back on, let's see, January 12th. The last time that this team lost a basketball game. And with a tie game with under 10 seconds remaining, Navy drives gets a quick layup. There's 3.6 seconds left on the clock. Navy leads 72 to 70. Boston University inbounds it, dribbles down, gets a little bit past half court, past the three-point line. And a buzzer beater 3 goes in as Boston University upsets the number one seeded Navy, 73-72 in the semi-finals of the Patriot League.

Now there were some drama in this game. And I tweeted it out. You guys can look at the pictures that I posted, the video that I posted at Scots on Air. The clock did not start when Boston University inbounded the ball. Now the game is in anapolis. The game is being played on Navy's home floor. So it's Navy's scorekeeper that had the error here. I'm not saying that this was some sort of conspiracy and that, you know, I said, Navy got robbed, but it's not like it's no one's fault but their own. But the, my argument here is that we have replay for a reason. And what they did at the end of this game was just a ridiculous mockery of the situation. For those who didn't watch and go watch the video, tap on my Twitter page. I also tweeted the screenshots to show you like how far the player from Boston University dribbled the basketball from the time that he caught the in-bounce pass to the time where the clock actually started. He took about two and a half three dribbles. It was probably a full second that went off the clock. Now he released the basketball

with about 1.6 seconds left. So yes, if you're just doing the math, you're like, that one second didn't matter. He would have gotten the shot off with 0.6 seconds left. I don't know that and you don't know that. Because when the player catches the in-bounce pass and he's dribbling up the floor and he looks up at that shot clock and he still sees he has time, guess what? He takes another two steps forward and then releases the ball and takes his jump shot. But if he looks up at that shot clock and he only sees 0.7 seconds, maybe he takes that shot from half court instead of closer to the three-point line. Maybe there's more panic in his dribble if he looks up and sees one less second on the clock. We have replayed to determine these things and what they did at the end of this game was they decided, oh yeah, the clock got started late. So let's go ahead and add 0.6 seconds on the clock to give Navy a chance to inbound and do some miracle tip. What does that do? He didn't give Navy enough time. That's not even like you can't catch and sure,

it's technically you can catch and shoot. But not from where they're inbound in the ball. You should have looked at, I don't know. You can't, what do you do? You blow the play dead. I don't know what you could have done. It's just a horrible situation for Navy who again went 17 and in the regular season in this conference gets eliminated here and is hanging on a thread and probably won't get into the NCAA tournament. So it goes to show you, not every favorite wins these conference tournaments and for those who are thinking, well, I'm just going to money line the favorites in these conference tournaments. That's never a smart move. I'm Scott Saddenberg. You know he's hit me up on Twitter at Scott's on air. Hit us off on the network at V-Sing Live. Coming up next, we'll continue to go through the live games in progress. Nick's making a little bit of a run, but it's a little bit a day late, the dollar short here against the Lakers. We'll tell you what's going on in the NBA coming up next. I'm Scott Saddenberg. It's live bet Sunday, right here on V-Sing, the sports betting network.

quite like Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games. When Team USA steps onto the world stage, we're not just watching. We're cheering together. This winter, we're all on the same team. Comcast Proud Partner of Team USA. Back here on Live Bet Sunday. I'm Scott Saddenberg with you on V-Sing. The sports betting network. The streak is over. The Los Angeles Lakers for the first time in 13 games have won and covered as an underdog. That's right. The Los Angeles Lakers had lost 12 straight games straight up and against the spread as underdogs coming into their game here this

afternoon against the New York Knicks. The Knicks were three and a half point favorites. And then it was announced that LeBron James was not going to be playing. The line immediately moves to the Knicks minus five. Here's the bottom line. That was the wrong move on the point spread. LeBron being out should have moved the line in favor of the Lakers. That's right. And when I bet this last night and it was Knicks minus three and a half, I wish I knew LeBron wasn't going to play because and we had Scott Reichel on of a sports gambling podcast network on my cash and out episode yesterday he gave up the Knicks. I co-signed it. If I knew LeBron James was not going to play at the Lakers were the move here. The Lakers are a better team with LeBron James off the floor. This is not my opinion. This is a fact. When LeBron James is on the floor this season

the Lakers prior to this game today because I don't have the numbers from this game but prior to this game the Lakers minus 4.3 points worse on defense per 100 possessions with LeBron James on the floor. Now they are 2.6 points better on offense per 100 possessions but that's still a net net 1.8 points worse when LeBron James is on the floor. And then I took a look at the two man lineups. So what this does what this did this exercise is I wanted to see when these two players were on the floor together how do the Lakers do this season. When it is LeBron James and Luca on the floor together the net rating for the Lakers is minus 3.1 when it's LeBron James and Austin Reeves

together on the floor. The Lakers are a negative minus 1.7 when it's Luca and Reeves on the floor together. The Lakers are a plus 6. It's a little bit different than just looking at when LeBron's not in the game at all but it still tells the story. The Lakers are better without LeBron James. Who's going to argue? I just gave you the numbers and so when the market moves like it did factoring in LeBron James as the LeBron James of 5 years ago as betters we need to know better and we need to strike in the opposite direction. Once LeBron James got ruled out and this line went from Nick's minus 3.5 to Nick's minus 5 everyone should have been betting the Lakers plus 5.

That was the move and take note of that moving forward. If you miss the boat today you miss the boat today take note of that moving forward. The Lakers are a better team without LeBron James. Again I'll read you the numbers. They are 4.3 points worse on defense per 100 possessions. Yes there are 2.6 points better on offense but that's still a net negative 1.8. Two man lineups. When it's LeBron and Luca on the floor together they are a negative 3.1 net rating. When it's LeBron and Austin Reeves together they are a negative 1.7 offensive net rating. When it's Luca and Reeves together they are a plus 6. No LeBron James today against the Nick's Luca Donchitz scores 35 points. He was a plus 14 on the floor 11 of 25 shooting. Austin Reeves had 25 points on 8 of 16 shooting and the Lakers win outright 110 to 97. That result shouldn't surprise

anybody if you knew that LeBron James was not playing in this game. So keep this in mind the market's going to move in the wrong direction here when LeBron gets ruled out. Yes everyone thinks LeBron's worth this much. All the betters are going to come in and bet the Nick's when LeBron gets ruled out wrong. You should be betting the Lakers when LeBron doesn't play. So congratulations to the Lakers. They snap. They're losing skid as an underdog. They had lost 12 straight games against the spread as a dog. Now not only do they cover they win outright here against the New York Knicks elsewhere in the NBA. We have another game in progress right now. It is the Detroit Pistons who are trailing the Miami Heat 10 to 2 and Detroit is coming off for performance yesterday. That was one of the more embarrassing performances you're you're you're going to see this is a team that has not been in good form lately. Now you lose to the Cavaliers and the Spurs. No one's going to bat night because those are two of the top teams

in the NBA right now. You lose to the Brooklyn Nets. You have a fourth quarter in which you allow the tanking Brooklyn Nets to outscore you 34 to 21. That's an embarrassment. And so you thought maybe hey let's come back here on Sunday. The best way to get over lost is to just get right back out there and play immediately. Now you're down 10 to early against the Miami Heat who are fighting for their playoff positioning right now. Try and avoid the play in. Terrible spot right now for the Pistons. Let's see if they can bounce back here as this game progresses. One of the game in progress. It is the Raptors a 15 13 lead over the Dallas Mavericks early in the first quarter in that one still to come top of the hour. It'll be the Wizards at the Pelicans. And then a little bit later on eight o'clock Eastern time. The Magic visit the Bucks. You have the Rockets at the Spurs. This is your Sunday night game on Peacock right now. San Antonio of five and a half point favorite. And then later on this evening the Pacers at the

Blazers bulls at the Kings and your late night game on Peacock because it is a double header. So you have two games here on Sunday night. You have a 10 o'clock Eastern time. The Hornets taking on the Phoenix Suns. I'm on the Hornets in that game Charlotte minus four and a half against Phoenix. I'm Scott Zydenberg always on Twitter at Scott's on air SCOTTS. Oh, N A I R here to solve all the network at Vs in live. Let's check back in on that Michigan Michigan state game where the Wolverines have pulled away a little bit. It is 71 66 with seven minutes to go here in the second half. And second half is underway about three minutes into that second half. Nebraska number nine with a 39 30 lead over Iowa right now. Again that second half just you know there's still 17 minutes off to go in that game on the ice. We do have a couple of games tonight including a best bet for a late game tonight here in Vegas. But in progress right now second period is winding down the penguins trailing the Bruins three to one Boston. Taking the one

nothing lead at the end of the first period. They've added a couple more here in the second. So three to one Boston leads Pittsburgh with three minutes to go in the second period. No score between the lightning and the Sabers says there's seven minutes into the first period and halfway through the first period the black cocks a one nothing lead over the Dallas stars still to come top of the hour. The Red Wings are in New Jersey to take on the Devils to minus 110 split both ways. The Blues visit the ducks where Anaheim is a heavy minus 180 favorite and then later tonight the Edmonton Oilers here in Vegas to take on the Golden Knights to minus one 10 split both ways. We'll get more into this game coming up a little bit later on. But I am on the over in that game between the Edmonton Oilers and the Vegas Golden Knights. We'll talk more NHL as the all the trade deadline. Excuse me is in the rear of your mirror. I love the timing of the trade deadline in the NHL. I love the fact that it's this late in the season because it gives teams an opportunity to you play the whole year you figure out where you are and then because we know that the Stanley Cup playoffs it's kind of like its own season right and the hockey is

just completely different to it's a different intensity. You have a 20 game stretch now post trade deadline to make your push towards the postseason and then you go into the grind that is the Stanley Cup playoffs. It allows teams again to take as much time to figure out where they are and then make moves for that playoff push. I think the later the deadline the more opportunity there is for moves to be made for teams that are kind of realizing hey we have a shot here or hey we need to address this or hey injuries have happened let's go ahead and figure this out and add a player or trade a player or whatever. So I love the the timing here of the NHL trade deadline. I'm Scott Saddenberg it's live bet sunday here on vsin the sports betting network. This is live bet sunday on vsin the sports betting network. You guys can always hit me up on twitter at scots on air and at vsin live we have more college basketball still to come here today we are tracking the games in progress right now sweating out the Michigan State Michigan game 528 to go right now in the second half and Michigan has a 73 68 lead

over Michigan State we did we did take we bet sporty plus nine and a half we have a little bit of negative CLV because they closed at plus 10 to plus 10 and a half but still I still think they're very live to even win this game outright let's see what happens here down the stretch again Michigan not playing for anything except for a rivalry win so congratulations if they get this victory Michigan is already a one seed they've clinched the big 10 regular season their number one seed in the big 10 tournament regardless of what happens they are a number one seed in the Midwest in the NCA a tournament other game in progress in the top 25 number nine Nebraska 43 35 lead over Iowa and then conference tournaments still going on here in the smaller conferences and the bigger conferences will get underway this week joining us right now on the progressive guest line to talk more college he's a pro better for underdog Robert Donaldson joins us here on live bet Sunday Rob

thanks for giving us a couple minutes here on Vsyn and I want to start with one of the upsets that happened earlier today with Navy losing in the semi-final of the Patriot League and I know that there's a lot of people out there that like betting the favorites in these conference tournaments that like you know laying the juice and thinking hey they want 17 and one in the conference this year they're clearly going to win their conference tournament that game should be a lesson to everybody the favorites don't always win these conference tournaments Rob. Yeah I mean if anybody's been watching mid major basketball this year there are very few conferences that have like a distinct hierarchy you know top two or top three teams it almost kind of feels like a blend like yes there has to be a one seed by default and Navy was a I think a worthy one see they had one enough games they had played really well all season but they went through some really tough games in conference to teams that weren't just the two three and four seeds and obviously you know it played out the way that it did in just crazy fashion they probably should have won the game but that's why it's

March madness every single moment matters and obviously at the end of the game Boston College get the last shot and account it yeah although the clock didn't start on time and I know people were all in my mentions because I tweeted out the pictures side by side of when the player caught the inbound to when the clock actually started and I'm like wow he went from here to here in 0.0 seconds listen yes he released the ball with 1.6 seconds left but you never know how the situation changes if they start the clock on time the kid looks up at the shot clock he sees that he only has like 0.8 does he shoot from half court does he take an extra dribble or two you never know so tough luck tough draw here for Navy losing that game I want to talk about a couple of games that are coming up here later on this evening Rob because I know that you have some futures bets let's talk about the west coast conference tournament I'll be at the championship game on Tuesday boots on the ground and all and I'm expecting to see Gonzaga against St. Mary's like I watch them every single year but you like another team here in the west coast conference tournament tell me on why Santa Clara

is your pick to win this tournament yeah you know I think what we're kind of seeing even in like the sunbell conference that adopts the same format of you know the two top seeds are definitely protected but sometimes I always kind of feel like you know is this almost like a detriment of a team below those top two seed lines just catches fire and the game prior and with Santa Clara this is definitely one of her best index just best teams that he's ever had at Santa Clara and he's had some really talented teams but I think ultimately when you're looking at just their draw their path obviously it's right through the St. Mary side of things and I do feel like St. Mary's despite being one of those teams almost as almost a guarantee to be a participant in the championship game every year they do still have that distinctly slow style of ball where if the shots are falling and the other team is hitting shots any given game right and I think given the odds that you're getting on Santa Clara right now I mean it's a it's a really steep price gotta pull it up just even to remember what I grabbed them out but yeah looking at you have plus 850 that's something

I'm willing to take a shot on when talking about just a two game parlay of beating St. Mary's beating potentially Gonzaga and even if you know Gonzaga's opening up at a six and a half point favorite maybe you get a little bit of headgek would be in that championship game if they do end up advancing that far yeah right now there's still plus 800 up on DK right now and they listen they have to get a win here tonight against Pacific first before they can advance here to tomorrow they're laying nine and a half is that too big of a line or are you okay with thinking they get a double digit win here you know I tend to think that they are going to get that double digit win Pacific just won an emotional kind of barn burn or type of gamer or just a game that came down to the wire last night and and sometimes when that is the case it's not just a coast to the next round type of spot I do feel like that team can come in with some really tired legs I tend to think also when you're just talking about the talent advantage that Santa Clara has over Pacific it's head and shoulders and so I do feel like this could be one of those you know 86 to

I'm 60 type of ball games I can totally see a blowout happening and ultimately I think Santa Clara if as long as they're just not looking ahead they're going to be totally fine in this spot talking to Rob Donaldson pro sports better for underdog joining me Scott Saddenberg here it's live that Sunday on VC in the sports betting network a team that a lot of people have been talking to me about at least is Eastern Washington you got Eastern Washington to win the big sky tournament what is it about this squad right now that has you wanting to back them yeah there's two teams in the big sky that I've really fallen in love with during the back half of the conference schedule it's Northern Colorado and it's Eastern Washington and obviously you know Dan Munson he's no stranger to March madness if you will because two years ago with Long Beach State I mean that was a team that was he was fired from Long Beach State for the conference tournament and he just went out and won it it was a crazy hilarious scene in the big West and I do feel like Eastern Washington despite their incredibly slow star this is one of those type of powerhouse

programs within the big sky and yes they started slow and non-conplay they started really bad in conference play but over the last month month and a half this has been one of the best teams in the entire league and I feel like again catching fire at the right time that's going to be a big thing that I focus on I think Eastern Washington is going to have a chance to win this even with a a sub 500 record by five games yeah listen they are they're plus 400 to win the tournament Northern Colorado plus 350 Portland State plus 360 but you also have to keep in mind Portland State has to play tonight so it's an extra game for Portland State whereas Eastern Washington and Northern Colorado or already they're playing their third round games coming up tomorrow so they got a Portland State has to win their second round game to get into the third round here let's talk about some other games that are coming up a little bit later on here today you have the CAA quarter finals any plays any play here for Hofstra and William and Mary or anything about this tournament that you have moving forward yeah you know nothing in particular with Hofstra William and Mary

that's a game that I could truly see going at a number of different ways but when you are looking at where my stakes lie in this conference actually have a really fun one where I placed a 30 to one ticket on the Campbell camels but pretty heavy on it as well I thought they had a good chance to pick off a UNC Dub team that was just kind of sitting around waiting for the team to you know come up and find out who they're even playing and Campbell be on the lookout because this is a team that they're starting guard DJ Smith played at Robert Moore slash year they took Alabama down to the wire he transferred in this season and they have a host of guards that if on any given night right we just saw with UNC Wilmington in that game they can beat anybody in this field and we'll even see if Charleston gets upset here I think Towson could have a really good chance to beat them in this match up to all of a sudden we've got a crazy CAA format playing out the rest of the way and I do feel like Campbell can go out and just win this thing out right so we have a championship game here tonight and and I'm curious your thoughts on these championship games Rob coming up here we

have the summit league final between North Dakota and North Dakota state North Dakota states 11 and a half point favorite the total is 147 and a half now this is what the number was earlier in the day it got bet down to about 145 and a half or so now it's been bet back up to the 147 and a half I know typically we love to bet unders in these conference championship games but look at some of the overs that we've seen here not just today but even yesterday and some of these championship games and some of these big you know semi-final games we're seeing a ton of points being scored where are you on the total in this game and what do you think about just the totals in general once we get to these conference championship games yeah you know I think a lot of these conferences take on the identity of their constituents right I mean I'm wearing a Northern Iowa cap in the Missouri Valley conference is known for their their unnoticed right not to share the arch unders and started out three and oh we loved it three you know in the first round but then the overs kind of came in once everybody started betting the numbers down bingo and that's where

I think the human element comes into play right with all these conference tournaments we could see a whole range of outcomes in this game North Dakota could win North Dakota State could run away with it I tend to kind of think that's going to be the outcome is North Dakota State running away with this thing but in general if you're just kind of pasting okay let's bet the conference tournament overs or unders you're probably going to be in for a lot of different variants is just not the way that I would approach these things and I do tend to think again when you're coming off that emotional win that North Dakota is coming off of being St Thomas the way that they did last time out it could open the door for a North Dakota team it almost feels destined under Dave Richmond to avenge that team that didn't get a chance during the COVID year so go ahead and give me the bison to roll in this one 11 and a half point favorites here in the summit league final Rob Donaldson appreciate the time good luck with all your bets we'll catch up again soon sounds good man for the rest show there he is Rob Donaldson pro sports better there for underdog I'm Scott Saddenberg this is live that Sunday you're on V-Sid

Scott Saddenberg back here with you on live that Sunday you're on V-Sid the sports betting network Michigan leading Michigan state 79 to 72 with just over a minute left here in regulation so we are officially in the sweat the sweat lanes right now now this line closed that Michigan laying 10 to 10 and a half I got in much earlier when it was nine and a half in favor now I have the wrong I have the negative CLV like I got plus nine and a half here with Michigan state so obviously I'd much rather have plus 10 and a half but I'm not going to claim to have a better bet that I actually bet it at I bet it at nine and a half and sometimes those are the breaks right market moved in the direction that I didn't anticipate so right now Michigan looks like they are at the free throw line shooting technical free throws and two technical free throws go away and it is now 81 to 72 I don't know what the technical foul was but Tom is not happy here on

the bench I wonder if he got into some sort of argument here but now Michigan not only makes those two free throws but now they have possession here so they are up 81 72 with the basketball with a chance to extend this lead and put themselves in real comfortable cover range and they just missed the three and got their long rebound and now it appears that they will be going to the free throw line for more free throws with under a minute remaining and an 81 72 lead so that means yes we are officially in the sweat range for sporty to cover this nine and a half I'm Scott Saddenberg always on Twitter at Scott's on air SCOTTS oh when a IR hit us all on the network at Vsyn live we're monitoring all the action college basketball the NBA the NHL we're going to get into it all world baseball classic as well congratulations to Akshay Bhattia who wins the Arnold Palmer invitational after starting the day three strokes back he comes back and wins it in a playoff and so there is

your winner of the Arnold Palmer invitational also keeping an eye on the NASCAR race that's going on right now is it has not concluded yet so they're on lap 269 of 312 at Phoenix Raceway this is the street talk wireless 500 why am I talking about NASCAR I'm not a NASCAR guy I'm not a NASCAR better but Michael Jordan's race team and their driver Tyler Reddick has done something that no NASCAR driver has ever done and that is win the first three races of the NASCAR Cup season Tyler Reddick won the Daytona 500 he followed up by winning the auto trader 400 the following week and then followed it up with a win at the Duramax Texas Grand Prix powered by Relladine

these names whatever and now at the straight talk wireless 500 Tyler Reddick is in fifth place right now with about 40 laps 40 about 40 laps to go Tyler Reddick's in fifth place so we are talking NASCAR history could be at stake here let's look at the live lines right now upon draft kings Tyler Reddick plus 1600 to win Christopher Bell minus 175 and looking at the standings right now he is in first place Ryan Blaney plus 190 Blaney is in fourth place actually right now and then you have Gibbs at plus 900 Kyle Larson 12-1 Tyler Reddick 16-1 right now and looking at the standings which continue to change Tyler Reddick has passed now Blaney Reddick is in fourth place again we're about 40 laps a little bit less to go here and history we've already gotten history as Reddick is one of the first three races he could potentially go four for four to start the season at that point like do we start like checking this car to see if

like there's something shady going on like I have no idea like how does this happen that's never happened before how does it happening right now all right let's check back in in Ann Arbor and see what is going on here as there is 50 seconds remaining Michigan has an 83 74 lead over Michigan state so the sweat is on again Michigan closed at a 10 to 10 and a half point favorite in this game let's see here at circa it was minus 10 minus 115 the both the online books had minus 10 and a half a lot of other books had minus 10 and a half here at circa minus 10 minus 115 I have Michigan state plus nine and a half so this is a bet that I did earlier in the day obviously I got the negative CLV but hey those are the breaks sometime and right now with a nine point deficit let's see if what happens here in the final 47 seconds as the free throws are now going to be coming and this

is like this is like the magic spot now the total in this closed at here at circa 152 and a half so we closed at 152 and a half and right now like we're well beyond that here it's 157 so it doesn't matter but something to keep an eye on if you're looking for that sweet spot of betting an over or an under in college loops if you want the fouls at the end you want that lead to be at like seven seven or eight because if a team's down 10 they don't foul Michigan state just foul nine I think that's kind of like the mark here Michigan made one of two free throws Michigan state getting to the basket let's see if they make it they do make it it is an eight point lead and we're going to get more fouls here because eight is the foul threshold I believe like eight to seven is where you get the fouls if it's a 10 point lead I don't think you foul and if it is a

anything less than that you don't foul because if it's like a five point lead you're playing straight defense now if it's a four point lead or even one possession you know you're not fouling in a one possession game unless it's like the closing seconds right but I'm talking about with like a minute a minute left in the game or so teams that are down seven eight are they're fouling and then you get so many more points here at the end of the game because you have a chance of being down you know they go down eight to down six to down eight to down seven to down eight to down five like it just it just goes back and forth and you get a ton of points here in the closing minutes of these college basketball games so Michigan at the line both free throws are made it is a 10 point lead with 35 seconds left and let's see what happens here again the sweat is on now Michigan state and miss I don't think they foul from being honest I don't think they foul let's see they do make the basket here so it's again back to an eight point deficit and you know they're going to

foul again and we'll see if Michigan can hopefully miss one from the free throw line and then I'll be I feel I'll feel great like if Michigan can miss one from the free throw line then it's a nine point game and then if sporty makes a basket it'll be seven and if they miss the basket they're probably don't foul down nine with under 20 seconds remaining but let's see what happens here there's 29 seconds left after the Michigan state layup and so Michigan will be inbounding the basketball 86 to 78 is your score we are officially in the sweat territory no better place to be here on a Sunday afternoon elsewhere you got Nebraska number nine with a 59 50 lead over Iowa Nebraska is one of those teams where they are they're respected by some people but the betting market oftentimes doesn't respect them the Nebraska closed here at Circa is a five point favorite four and a half

in some other books as well looking at Ken Palm Nebraska is ranked 12th right now but what's amazing is there's been multiple times this season where Nebraska has been ranked in the top 10 and has been an underdog on the road against unranked opponents and there's been other games where Nebraska you would think would be a higher favorite against some teams and they're just not and whether it's the initial open setting it that way based off of the analytics or it's the market just moving the line and disrespecting them I don't know what it is I certainly don't like Nebraska I bet against them many times especially in those situations where they were the top 10 team on the road as the unranked against the unranked favorite which by the way that's happened four times for Nebraska this year where they were ranked in the top 10 and an underdog on the road against an unranked opponent they went two and two in those games all right Michigan at the free throw line they did make the first free throw so it is 87 to 78 with 28 seconds remaining and at some point you're

wondering when does Tom is a call off the guards and stop failing if there's a make or a miss now he makes the second one so it is a 10 point lead here for Michigan we need a Michigan state basket and then maybe they decide not to foul let's see how it plays out with college hoop season heating up this is the best stretch of the betting season and right now Veson is offering our hoops mania special get Veson pro access from now through May 1st for just 29 99 with Veson pro you'll get daily best bets from Veson hosts and guests real-time draft kings and circa betting splits AI powered prop tools and matchup analysis 247 video and full show replays on the Veson watch app plus our march mania betting guide including team profiles for every tournament team keep trends for each round expert bracket and future strategies and best bets from Veson's top analysts if you're betting the tournament this is a must sign up today Veson dot com slash that's v s i n dot com slash subscribe
