This is live bet Sunday on V-SAN. V-SAN, V-Sports betting network. It's got Sadimer back here with you live bet Sunday here on V-SAN. V-SAN, V-SAN, V-Sports betting network. As we are sweating out, the final five minutes and change of the final elite eight game with a trip to Indianapolis and the final four on the line. Currently, here is your score as the Duke Blue Devils. Have a 65 to 58 lead over Yukon and stop the presses. Yukon hit a couple of threes back to back actually. They started the game one of 18 from three point range and they hit a couple of threes here in their previous couple of possessions. They just missed a free throw though and here we sit 65 to 58 with five minutes left. Duke on your live line is minus six and a half and remember they closed that minus four and a half to minus five. Your live total 146 and a half minus 130 to the over up on draft Kings.
That does please us as we had that we did bet the live second half over 71 and a half. Let's head on out to the progressive guest line and welcome in our very own Greg Hoops Peterson. As this is his time to shine here in the month of March. Greg, I know you've been busy. You've been tracking all these games. You've been handicapping all these games. Not just in college basketball, major league baseball. We're going to talk baseball in a couple of minutes here. But what have you noticed here? We got about five minutes left. Duke's at the free throw line. What have you noticed in this game between Duke and Yukon? And any feel for how these final five minutes are going to play out? You're really interesting because we've seen it all turn them in long. We're the favorites. Maybe they don't have the world's greatest first 30 to 35 minutes, but they pull away late. This would be a little bit of the opposite as Duke was up 15 points at the half. But I do feel like in the end, Duke is going to be all the fine way to cover this game because we just have been noticing in the end of these games, the cream as they will rise to the top. The like we'll say, if there is one team that could be able to break this trend,
it is a team that has a coach. It's got what it is. Has one to have the last three national titles. And Dan Hurley, Yukon, you mentioned it. They were ice cold from three to start with something like one to 16, two of 17 from the outside. Now they've been able hit a few more three. So maybe they're starting to get that spider back. But in the end, we've just been seeing these one seats be able to come through in the final few minutes of games. I think that Duke is going to be able to do that here. Yeah, I talked earlier that maybe the play was to do the like Duke minus six and a half, even though it's not the value because they were minus four and a half or minus five to start the game. But I figured the only way I could see the more likely result for me in this game was not Yukon coming back and winning or Yukon coming back to lose in a final possession. But it was if Yukon comes back, the free throws are going to enable Duke to stretch this thing out. Or Yukon was going to continue to miss some shots. And then Duke was going to pull away. As I say that Greg, though, it is now a 67-62 game with four minutes left. Should Duke be worried right now?
A little bit, but we have seen Duke in these spots before. Like, I didn't even think that game gets the end of going back to round number one of the NCAA tournament. Had to find a way there. And it was a little bit rough in the beginning part of the second half. And the game against TCU had to come back against St. John's unlike last year where the first time that they were really in a life or death situation in the NCAA tournament was against Houston. They now actually have experience in these close games. They know how to be able to pull these games out. So even though maybe they're not quite as talented as they were, as he used to go with Cooper Flake, they've got more experience and crunch time than they did as he used to go. So I actually feel good about them being able to get the job done here. Well, as we say that, they just turn the ball over and you con with a layup and the foul, 67, 64 with 342 left. Your live line right now up on draft Kings. Duke minus two and a half. Greg, I want to play it. I want to play Duke minus two and a half.
What do you think? Yep, I'm right there with you. I think that they do find a way to get the job done. Man, let me tell you what I'm learning about this NCAA tournament. Just whatever team gets my base in the first half, whatever team gets down in the first half, just bet them in the second half. Like if you've done absolutely nothing other than that in the E lead-A because Purdue was leading at the half against Arizona, Iowa had the lead against Illinois at the half as well. Duke had a massive lead here. If you just bet the team that got down in the first half in the second half, other than Tennessee, which they were just dead on impact today, I knew you made yourself a lot of money here this weekend. Yeah, I just fired it in Greg. I'm on Duke minus two and a half right now. Got it at minus 125. Listen, if it's close, it's come down to the wire. If Yukon makes this free throw, it'll be a 67-65 game. But then, final, as you mentioned, crunch time, the experience factor, 342 left in the game. I do think that, and again, as long as Duke has a lead, free throws can come into play here.
I'm taking Duke minus two and a half on this live line right now. Your live total, 148 and a half. You know, this game is far from over. So I'm not going to talk about the winner of this game, potentially here in the final four. But early, the early line, Greg, Fando released this early line at the half when Duke was up 44 to 29. They had Duke at three and a half point favorites over Illinois, and then it quickly changed Duke minus four and a half over Illinois. You set your lines for every game. Visa and Pro subscribers can go on Visa.com and check out your lines for every game. Right now, you're handicapping the final four versus Illinois. What do you set Duke and or Yukon as the favorite here against the Illinois? What's the line that Greg Pearson has? My initial line was Duke minus five total of 139. A little bit off-put here. So I might need to adjust that down a little bit, depending upon what we see here in the final few minutes. But that line that you said that when I change a four and a half,
I thought that that was a very proper line. In my opinion, 179, 139. If it does turn out to be Yukon, I feel like I would have to give Yukon the slimmest of slim. Shall we say benefits of the doubt? Probably put them as a one one and a half point favorite, because I think that those seems to be very equally matched. I just feel like Dan Hurley has a coaching badge over Brad Underwood. It's no slight on Brad Underwood, but when you go up against a guy that's one, two out of the last three national titles, you have to give the advantage through that coach. So if Yukon does find a way to be able to get the job done, we'll set them as a very slim favorite. But like I said, when I was setting this line a few minutes ago, I did initially make Duke a five point favorite. Then again, like I said, might adjust that down to four and a half, depending on what we see here later. Yeah, that's a great point, Greg. We're talking about upgrading Yukon or how the market's going to view Yukon. Should they come back and pull off this upset? So that would be incredible. They aren't the free throw line now. 67 to 64. The free throw is up and good. So 67, 65, 342 left in the game, your live line, Duke minus two and a half,
your live total 148 and a half. We're talking with our very own Greg Hoops, Peterson, joining us on the progressive guest line. I'm Scott Saddenberg. It's live Bet Sunday here on Vsyn. The sports betting network. We're sweating out this conclusion here of Duke against Yukon with a trip to the final four on the line as every possession is a premium right now. Duke just makes a basket to go up 69, 65. All right, Greg, the final four, is set between Michigan and Arizona. When you saw Michigan line, that's the one and a half point favorite. What was your initial reaction? My initial reaction was, I'm not surprised by it, but I do default a little bit more to Arizona. I feel like they're just a bit more of a complete team here than Michigan because with Arizona, they just have so many different ways to be out with you. And you just don't know who night and night out is going to be that top score. Overall, for the season, it's been great. And Burys, who's been able to give you 15 at points per game. And I'll continue to say it. I feel like he's been one of the most improved players in all of college basketball.
Not that he was a bad player to start out this season, but I feel like with every game, he's just getting progressively better and better. Jayden Bradley is a rock solid three point here, which Arizona doesn't do a lot of three point shooting. There are top 40 team in terms of percentage of their field goal attempts that come from inside the three point line. But when they need a three, they're able to rely upon him. Toby Awaka, Matimus Kreevas. I think that those two guys are able to stand up to what Michigan provides downline. Michigan is just not really a team that puts you under duress. They're not a team that generates a lot of turnovers. They can sometimes be a little bit careless with the ball as well. And I just feel like Arizona has been, shall we say, the more consistent team this year? I feel like perhaps after peak Michigan is a little bit better than Arizona. But with Arizona, you really haven't had any downfalls with the team. They only had two losses in season. In overtime against Texas Tech, when they had JT topping out there. And on big Monday against Kansas, when Kansas has quite literally never ever lost on big Monday under Bill's self, which is still one of the most remarkable things that you'll ever find. So I do think that Arizona,
just I have to reward the consistency or what they've done just night and night of. I said Arizona as a slim one-and-a-half point favorite. So if this is just what it turns out to be, mark it wide, I am going to be leaning with Arizona. I'm the one of you might. Yeah, I mean, I've been Arizona to win the title, you know, when the brackets came out. They've been my pick all along. I've never wavered off of that. I think that they are the most complete team. I also think they have the most NBA talent of these teams that are remaining. Now, we've all said this for months now, Greg, going back even before the tournament started when we were maybe headed towards conference tournament time. And you could look at the Kenpon numbers, the Torvix, all that stuff. And you'll see the analytics do prove this point. There were three teams head and shoulders above everybody else in college basketball. Duke, Arizona, and Michigan were on a different level than everybody else. And I know that the way that Florida played towards the final stretch of the season, people were kind of putting Florida close there. Maybe Yukon, close there. But it was clear that there was three teams and everybody else. And if Duke finishes this off,
and there's a minute, a minute, 51 left, if they finish this thing off, it's not surprising to me that those three teams, the three one seeds are in the final four, and the national champion is going to come from one of those three teams with all due respect to Illinois, Greg. Yep, and I mean, man, that is going to be a Titanic match up between what we get and out of Arizona versus Michigan. And I do hope that we can get Duke into the title game because whoever out of that pairing faces off Duke, potentially in the national title game, we are getting the best in college basketball. Would you like to see a few more upsets? Sure, I know that there's a lot of people complaining about the chalk. And I made the joke that if this college basketball season was a serial, it'll be count-shock, you know? It's about what the chalk is and the chalk of the bracket. But you know what? It also means that we're getting the best matchups here in the E lead-A final four, and that's ultimately what you want as well. Well, Duke makes one of two free throws. They have a 70 to 65 lead, 131 left in the game. There was just a foul on the rebound.
So I believe Yukon should be headed to the free throw line. Your live total right now, 145.5, which is exactly where we've been with the entirety of this second half. Boy, they couldn't have set a line more perfect, Greg. That's 71.5, because that's what we have been on pace for the entire time here. Let's hope we can get there in the final minute 30. Greg Hoopspeederson's going to hang around with me, Scott Sidenberg. We'll continue to talk college hoops. We're going to get into Major League Baseball as well. Coming up next right here on LiveBet Sunday on Vsign. Vs SportsBetting Network. Let me get your attention real quick, podcast listeners. It's March, which means the madness is officially upon us. I'm Scott Saddenberg here on Vsign, the sports betting network and joined on the progressive guest line by our very own Greg Hoops Peterson. As Yukon just drilled a three, and it is a one point game, 70 to 69, Greg, with 45 seconds left. Duke had the ball in their previous possession, and they did what teams do up late and I absolutely hate it. They changed the way they play offense, and instead of running in offense, they just stand and milk the entire shot clock and then wind up having a turnover at the end of the shot clock. But Cameron Booser just did what he does and scores a pivotal basket here. 28.9 seconds left, Greg.
Duke up 72.69. Boy, this is going to be a sweat, my friend. I am in on Duke minus four and a half. So what I'm hoping for is for Yukon to launch a three, get the miss, and then you get those made free throws from Duke to be able to cover the summer. So lots of sweats all the way around no matter what you've had in this game. Yeah, and we did play the live total over. Well, we need 145 to happen right now, and we are sitting here at 141. So we need four more points in this game in order for us to cash our second half over 71 and a half. We are at 141 right now. Your live line is actually 144 and a half. Not only did we bet the second half, Greg, at 71 and a half over, but we also bet Duke minus two and a half with about three minutes and change left when this was a 67 to 65, or it was 67 to 64, with Yukon going to the free throw line at that stoppage the other four time out there, and we did bet Duke minus two and a half. So we are sweating this out right now.
Yukon does have the basketball, 72, 69, 28 seconds left. Do you think they go for another three? They've been cold here. They've been cold here from three, although they just hit a big one. Do you think they go for a three, or do you think they try to attack the basket and get a quick two, and then play the foul game? I think that if you're Yukon, you probably want to launch a three with 10 seconds remaining, maybe a little bit more, maybe a little bit less, in case it's offline, because this is one of the better rebounding teams in all of college basketball, a terrorist reading company. So I think that they do go for three here. That's personally what I would be doing because Yukon, you mentioned they were so cold to begin the game, but they've actually been shooting it quite well here in the last six, seven or so minutes of the second half. So I personally would be looking at a three if I'm Yukon. Yeah, listen, obviously you're down three. You don't need the three. I'd say if they were down five, I think you shoot the three automatically. But 26 seconds left, I think that there's still enough time. They're four of 22 from three point range in this game.
Now they started one of 18. So they are three of what? They're last four, right? But they started one of 18. They're three of four. They're last four three pointers. I'm just saying 27 seconds left. You don't need the three. You can still play the foul game. Let's see what Hurley draws up, though, out of the break. It looks like they are running a set play, which I don't like because they have just milked eight seconds off the clock. Not they're milking way too much time off the clock. They're going for the, are they milking this down to get the final shot to be a three? They do now, Duke just fouled them. Yukon is in the bonus, though. So Duke does the whole foul up three game. 10 seconds left. Yukon's going to the free throw line. I was going to ask you that next question. Do you foul up three? It was obviously too much time with 27 seconds left to foul up three. But what did Jamaica Yukon running a set play wasting 17 seconds off the clock, only to get fouled here and go to the free throw line?
Honestly, they could bailed out by that foul because if you're up three, you foul with like two, three, four seconds remaining. You don't foul with 10 seconds remaining. Like this was just not great from both sides. Like can we give an F to both Duke and Yukon for the execution here? I feel like that's what we should be doing here because I'm very confused by the sequence on both sides. And Yukon just missed the first of two, three's. Yep. And let's see how the second free throw goes for Yukon. 10 seconds left in the game. Regardless of a make or a miss here, it is going to be a foul. And Duke will be going to the free throw line to shoot their free throws. I believe they're in the single bonus though. So it will be a one-on-one. Let's see, the free throw is up and it is good. So it is a two point game, 72 to 70. There's 10 seconds left. So there's going to be a foul here. And this is actually, this is bad for our total here. Oh, they can't even get a foul off.
They turn the ball over. Yukon has the ball. They're going to shoot the buzzer beater for the win. They got it. Point three seconds left. Duke turns it over. Yukon drills a distance three, 73, 72. Point three seconds on the clock. They're going to review it to see if there's any more time on the clock. But Yukon may have just pulled one of the greatest upsets that we will see in the NCAA tournament, Greg, coming all the way back down, 44, 29 out of the half, shooting one of 19 or one of 18 from three to start this game. Duke, you mentioned the terrible execution. I was shocked. I was thought that they just, Yukon wasn't going to be able to foul them because Duke was passing away from the fouls. And then they turned the ball over. I'm speechless, Greg. What do you have to say?
This is very reminiscent of what we saw last year in that game against Yukon. Duke had that game completely hammer locked down. And then they forgot how to get the ball past half court. They forgot how to get the ball in bounds. It's as if they didn't learn from last year. And it's not like you've got the full lotment of guys from last year. But how do you let that happen two years in a row? Bad execution there. But I must call it what it is. You have to give Yukon a lot of credit. Dan Hurley, once again proving why he's a pretty, pretty darn good coach as for Yukon was a little bit off. But by what we saw there a few seconds ago, totally redeemed themselves. Greg, this is unbelievable. I can, you mentioned it. This is Duke Houston all over again. How do they lose this? Duke has been outscored in this second half. 44 to 28. At first, they inbounded the ball. Greg, you said that when it comes to clutch time, we trust Duke with the execution, right?
We trust some veteran coaching, veteran leadership. When you inbound the ball there, you have the lead. There's 10 seconds left in the game. Don't pass the ball. Okay, you can only pass the ball when there's two seconds left because you're going to get the eight second violation. Here we go. Point four seconds left. Duke in pass. Unbelievable. Yukon wins 73 72 in one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA tournament history. I'll say it, Greg. Where do you rank this? This has to be one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA tournament history. Probably just a hair below what we saw it of Houston overdue class here. I don't know if I can put it quite above that because with Cooper flagging company, that being a final four game, that is massive. But I and if that is like number one, that's probably like number two, number three over the last second or so. I don't know if I can quite obviously put it above Illinois over Arizona in 2005.
Like that one still stands out to me. But in terms of non-final four games, top three, I think that that's fair to say. I just don't understand why you're passing the basketball there. They're going to value just hold the basketball because then they're going to try and slap you and steal the ball and then they're going to value. I will say they'll Greg 145 points. Cash the over 144 and a half. I cash the over 71 and a half for the second half. As 72 points are scored here in the second half, this is I cannot believe what I know. I'll steal the line from was it Bucker? I cannot believe what we just saw. Unbelievable. That is one of the greatest comebacks we have seen in my opinion an NCAA tournament history. And that deep three by Mullins, unbelievable from a team that was shooting so poorly from three point range and Duke goes down at the buzzer essentially. 73-72 is the final.
All right Greg, I asked you about Duke versus Illinois. Forget it. Forget it Greg. Now give me Yukon versus Illinois. What is your line on that game? Well, we are post-border there. I was preparing for Duke versus Illinois personally. So now we have to shift gears a little bit. But I was saying it, I was leaning towards Yukon being about a one and a half, two point favorite. I think that I have to stick with that. I think that you have to put Yukon as a favorite here over Illinois. Like I said, I think that I have to lean two now weighing two with Yukon in this sort of spot. With that totally, you probably set it in the mid-130s because Yukon has been making games, slugs all season, Illinois is a relatively low-tempo team. So I'm going to lean about 136-137. I'll dive in a little bit more on that when I get off air. But I think that you have to put Yukon as a two point favorite here and make them the favorite to make the title game. Well, here we go Greg. You ready for this? You sitting down? Yep. Fandall has released the line Saturday night,
final four in the Indianapolis, in the inapolis. Illinois, a two and a half point favorite over Yukon with a total of 139 and a half. I think I will be taking Yukon on the money line. I was about to say, I think we get our Yukon bets in now at plus two and a half. I think we get him in now. Yep. He is Greg Hoops, Peter's in, Catch Coast to Coast Hoops, wherever you get your podcasts from, Greg's White Ups and Previews, always up on Vsyn.com and no one better when it comes to breaking down college basketball here at Vsyn. History was just made in our nation's capital. We'll break it down more. Coming up next year on LiveBet Sunday here on Vsyn. This is LiveBet Sunday on Vsyn. These sports betting network. I'm still in shock. Honestly, like I'm like still trying to collect myself. I just don't believe like what I just saw.
And unbelievable. I'm Scott Saddenberg. This is LiveBet Sunday here on Vsyn. These sports betting network always on Twitter at Scots on Air and at Vsyn Live. Rejoined right now for just a couple more minutes by our very own Greg Hoops, Peter's in on the progressive guest line. Greg, I just before we want to get your thoughts on the baseball game that just started real quick. But I went ahead and I played it. Yukon plus two and a half in the final four against Illinois. Fandall has it posted right now. The other books will post it. I'm sure accordingly. But I think you were in agreement that Yukon after we witnessed this come back here as shocking as it was. A team that started one of 18 from three point range finished what four of their last five from three point range, including the Mullins winner there, 0.3 seconds left. I think you are in agreement that Yukon is your play in the final four. Absolutely. And great coaches rise to the occasion. Dan Hurley once again, like you can say what you will about the annex.
You can say what you will about him. Perhaps that being the world's nicest to the rest of what I have you. The guy gets a job done. The guy absolutely gets a job done late in the NCAA tournament. Didn't once again here. And Braille Mones who hit that big three. He has been the X factor for Yukon. Like he's not a guy that gets a fan for a lot of these other freshmen out there in college basketball. He has been so critical to this Yukon team. And Yukon as on their side against an Illinois team has really good at rebounding. A guy in Terrace Redu by himself rebounded a team in the NCAA tournament. I'll be at that team with Furman. But he out rebounded Furman 26 to 23. I actually 27 to 23 earlier on in the NCAA tournament. So I personally feel like Yukon should be the very some favorite. I officially locked that in at one and half with the Guards of my handicap. So I'm with you. I think great value is to be had right now on Yukon getting the points. So I'm just looking at the futures market here up on draft kings. And you know, normally I don't like, you know, the futures market. Because I think you get more value if you do like your money line roll over.
But Yukon's a plus 114 dog on the on the money line in the first game here in the final four. And then you would assume against Arizona or Michigan. They're probably about plus 150 maybe plus 140. I'd say plus a little bit bigger. Yeah, let's just say if it's plus 150 Greg, you're getting like plus 425 or so on your two leg parlay. Right now, Yukon plus 550 in the futures market to win the national tile. Arizona plus 175 Michigan plus 180. Illinois plus 380 and Yukon plus 550. That is your line right now. I think the only value is Yukon. Because as I mentioned, I think it gets you're getting more than what the money line roll over would be on on Yukon plus 550. Does that intrigue you at all? I'm a little bit. I would say that Yukon probably in that title game. I think that they be closer like plus 160 plus 165 on the money line. But let's assume you get plus 160 plus 165. You still would have value on that plus 550 as well.
So I do think that if you're looking at Yukon, you might as well just take that futures price rather than the making of a parlay that you laid out. All right, Greg. Not only do you do coast to coast hoops, but also the baseball betting show available wherever you get your podcasts from courtesy of us here at Vesan first weekend of the major league baseball regular season wrapping up tonight with Sunday night baseball. Not on ESPN anymore. It is on peacock. We are in the bottom of the first inning in Seattle. The Guardians and the Mariners are still scoreless. Let's see. It was the Mariners with a handcock on the mound closing. Here at Circa at minus 141. Slade Ciconi on the mound for the Guardians. What did you have in this game prior to first pitch? I did take a shot on the Guardians on the money line. So with them not scoring in the first setting, actually probably get a little bit of a better plus price now. Obviously, it's early enough in the game where it's all like the values like completely gone or anything like that. But I just really don't trust an Emerson handcock. It's ever really put together at the big league line. The big thing for Slade Ciconi is that he has
been great in terms of being up. Keep the ball in the yard at the big league level. Lysier gave up 1.6 home runs per night in endings. But Seattle, even though they've got Cal Raleigh, Ulyah Rodriguez, some big masters. It is a very picture friendly ballpark. It's out there in late March out there in the city of Seattle. So false not going to be flying too much. And I just believe that the Guardians have a better bullpen in general. Always are. Top 5 team in terms of bullpen in Ure. And how about chased a lotter by the way for the Cleveland Guardians? For home runs in the first three games in Seattle. I don't know if he's going to be able to keep that pace at it. 200 home runs this year. But it does look like the Guardians lineup is a little bit better than it has been in past years. I do think that there could be some value moving forward on the Guardians day in and day out. So just shut on the Guardians on that plus number on the money line. All right. Well, the Mariners just got the first two runners on here in the bottom of the first. So with runners on first and second and nobody out, your live line is now Mariners minus 259. Guardians plus 192. So let's maybe see how this first inning plays out. If no runs are scored and you could still get a decent price here on the Guardians, escaping a jam here early on.
Maybe value on jumping in on Cleveland. But let's see how this first inning shapes up here. Greg, appreciate the time, man. As always, I know you have you've just been all over the place with no sleep. I don't know how you I don't know how any of us are going to sleep tonight after watching that finish here between Yukon and Duke as Duke for the second tournament year in a row blows the lead late. They should have beat Houston last year and didn't. They should have beat Yukon this year and didn't. We await to see how the odds shape up here for the final four. Greg, appreciate the time. As always, my friend. Good luck with your bets. Always appreciate it. And that's why they call it March bed. It's not March, but not me. Unbelievable. There he is. Our very own Greg Hoops, Peterson. Joining us on the progressive guest line. So your lines now up on draft Kings for the final four. It is Michigan minus one and a half against Arizona. And it is Illinois minus two and a half against Yukon. Total in the Yukon Illinois game. It was one thirty nine and a half now one forty and a half. Michigan Arizona total of one fifty seven and a half.
I think I think Yukon plus two and a half is the play. Unbelievable. We do have two number one seeds in the final four. And then a three versus a two. And I'm very happy that at least we got the two number one seeds because my best bet prior to the tournament was over and over one and a half one seeds to make the final four. So at least we cashed that with Michigan and Arizona representing their regions in Indianapolis. And there's no set. There's no times. I don't think they announced the times yet on these games to see which is going to be the early game. And which will be the late game. We're going to monitor that. I can tell you that I'll be with you on live bet. So catching out next Saturday on April 4th to see. And I think we do have confirmation. I think Illinois Yukon is going to be the first game at six oh nine Eastern time. And then at eight forty nine PM Eastern time or it might get pushed back depending on obviously how the game ends out. Your second game your night cap is going to be Michigan
against Arizona. So I'll be with you on catching out next Saturday on April 4th as we're going to break down the games and get ready for the national championship game coming up on Monday on April 6th. But your final four is set. Illinois and Yukon in your first game. Illinois a two and a half point favorite. Michigan and Arizona in your night cap with Michigan as a one and a half point favorite. And the futures market here up on draft Kings right now. Arizona plus one seventy five to win the title. Michigan plus one eighty Illinois plus three eighty and Yukon plus five fifty now just doing the mechanical roll over here. Right now let's just look at Michigan and Arizona for instance. Michigan's a minus one fifteen favorite here in this game. Regardless of who they play in the championship they're likely going to be not likely. They will be a higher favorite than minus one eighteen. Let's call it I don't know you want to call it a minus one forty favorite minus one fifty favorite.
Let's call it a minus one fifty favorite or so. That's a plus two oh three. So your money line roll over is going to be better on Michigan than in the futures market. Same thing with Arizona. So your money line roll over on the final four on the final four game. National semi final and your final is going to pay off better than just doing the plus one seventy five on Arizona or the plus one eighty on Michigan. By the way let that sink in for a second. Arizona's plus one seventy five. Michigan's plus one eighty but yet Michigan is a one and a half point favorite over Arizona. How can that make sense? Why does Arizona have shorter odds to win the championship than Michigan when Michigan's favored over Arizona in their semi final game? To me it tells you that that Michigan Arizona line might just be based off of or the futures market could be based off of liability. Right not necessarily as we talk about you know
the market not being so predictive just reactive but to me the plays are both dogs. It's Yukon and it's Arizona in both of these games. Now the Yukon plus five fifty as we work this out here with Greg is going to pay off better than the roll over. I do believe that to be the case that the plus five fifty is going to pay off better because the odds are going to be better than what they would be if you just did Yukon plus one fifteen or so in the semi final and then plus one fifty or plus one sixty whatever it is in the national championship because against Michigan or Arizona they're going to be more than a two and a half point duck although by the way that line has just moved on draft kinks Illinois now one and a half point favorite over Yukon get it on Yukon plus two and a half while you can. national plus one and a half there's a very profitable trend in the NHL this season when you have both teams on the second of a back-to-back so both teams on zero rest going into today on Sunday the underdogs on the plus one and a half puckline thirty nine and eleven this season it's an incredible run even though you're laying juice on the majority of these pucklines you are still extremely profitable betting these these situations again thirty nine and eleven this season well the front we already already cashed the first game which was the Montreal Canadian's plus one and a half against the Carolina Hurricanes they went out right three to one just cashed the second of these games the Boston Bruins plus one and a half against the blue jackets just tied the game with the net empty and the extra attacker on three three they're going into overtime and then the third game the national predators plus one and a half against the
lightning the lightning shot it into the empty net with zeros on the clock and the broadcast was saying I don't think this is gonna count it's a moot point the lightning gonna come away with the victory wow I don't care about that they won the game great is it gonna count are they gonna review it and I'm looking at my sportsbook account and it does you know it's funny they haven't paid me yet but it does say a check mark next to the win it says win national plus one and a half it says lightning win three to two so imagine listen I cashed it on that side plus one and a half if I had minus one and a half and I didn't see a review I'd go crazy right now but what a sweat literally the puck went in as the zeros crossed the on the scoreboard and I'm sitting here chanting you can ask everybody in the back I'm saying please don't count please don't count please don't count please don't count because then it would be a three to two final all the scoreboard say three to two
now that being said we have seen stat corrections before I have lost many a prop bet when I had a player to go over shots on goal or under shots on goal and all of a sudden after the game it's changed now I don't think they're gonna add a goal here I think this is good I think we have a final I just refreshed the scoreboard everybody says it is a three to two finish with the win by Nash Tampa over Nashville NHL.com says three to two my sportsbook app says three to two I'm going off that so that is a win so now 39 and 11 coming into this Sunday you add three wins now it is now 42 and 11 this season with one game pending and that would be the flyers at home against the Dallas stars right now it is scoreless at the end of the first period but if you wanted to jump in on this extremely profitable betting trend
it is now it's overwhelming juice with it being 000 after the first period up on draft Kings right now the flyers plus one and a half is minus 230 so it's a little it's crazy juice compared to what it was before the game started before the game started the flyers at plus one and a half were minus 175 so now it's minus 230 but again the numbers speak for themselves this year both teams on zero rest and you have the plus one and a half dog is now 42 and 11 this season but where the flyers actually fall into a more profitable subset is the home dogs so this year right when we talk about the the home dogs let's see this year on the puck line both teams on no rest those home dogs 14 and four so we are 42 and 11 for all situations
a home and away with the dogs on the plus one and a half puck line here but the home dogs like the flyers are right now and they're the only one of these four games that qualified today 14 and four if all you did was blindly bet those teams this year even with the juice you are up $545 coming into today if you just bet all the teams and this is not going to factor in the three games that already won today but let's see if you just not factor in the three that already won today so I'll add the $300 for the three teams that won today already you are up $2,065 at 42 and 11 on the puck line even laying the juice if all you did was blindly bet the dogs all teams on zero rest you blindly bet the dogs plus one and a half you are 42 and 11 this year you are up $2,065 if that's all you did
betting the NHL this season that's absolutely incredible I'm Scott Saddenberg always on Twitter at Scots on Air SCOTTS O-N-A-I-R you know it's all on the network at V-Syn live last segment they read a promo for our V-Syn Daily Diamond podcast which is our daily baseball betting podcast with Dave Ross and Jensen Lewis former MLB pitcher Dave Ross will join us in a couple of minutes here on the program co-host of V-Syn by the books and the V-Syn Daily Diamond podcast as well as first strike which is our MMA podcast here on the V-Syn podcast network we'll get Dave thoughts on the early start here of the Major League Baseball season the first full weekend of Major League Baseball will ask him about his New York Mets who lost in extra innings here which worked out for me and my sweep avoidance system betting on the pirates so I was happy about that and of course we'll ask him about the NCAA tournament his early thoughts on the final as well as maybe thought on the the interesting
situation we have coming up here in MMA where Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano are going to fight coming up next little over a month from now two months oh no it's little over a month because it's May 16th and we are about to flip the calendar to April shortly so we'll ask him his early thoughts on that let's take a look at the scores in progress right now as I mentioned on the ice what a sweat we had we cashed it though with the the predators losing by just one no empty net goal there thankfully it didn't count and we also cashed with the Bruins getting the game tying goal with the extra attacker on down three nothing for the majority of this game because Jeremy Swamin was not good in the first period but they have settled down and they have rallied all the way back three unanswered goals in the third period including that late one there with the extra attacker on it is a three three tie in over time the Bruins and the Blue Jackets first intermission the black hawks have a two one lead over the devils
first intermission in a game that we are sweating out as we have the the Philadelphia Flyers plus one and a half no score between the Flyers and the stars in the first intermission there your other finals from earlier yes to be cashed with the Canadian's at three one win over the hurricanes and the lightning three two over the predators Rangers beat the Panthers three to one the big story in the NHL as we are headed towards the Stanley Cup playoffs literally there's about less than ten games left in the NHL regular season the big news with think about that with how many games left for let's see even less than eight games left in the regular season for the Vegas Golden Knights they have fired their head coach Bruce Cassidy and replaced him with former Ranger for a Blue Jacket former Flyer head coach John Torturella so torts comes in to take the reins of the Vegas Golden Knights who have been slipping and slipping are and are in danger of missing
the postseason entirely actually it's the first time in their franchise history which hasn't been long we know that but it's the first time in VGK franchise history that I believe they will not finish with more wins than losses and that includes regulation losses and overtime losses so it's the first time they will not have more wins than losses in their franchise history it has not been a good stretch here for the Knights it has not been a good stretch ever since they returned from the Olympic break it hasn't been a good stretch now do you chalk that up to injuries like Mark Stone's been injured and they had five players go to the Olympics right not just Mark Stone and theodore but you know Jack Eichel and Hanuffin right like sit and by the way Eichel and Hanuffin were coached on team USA by John Torturella who was an assistant coach for under John Sullivan there for team USA winning gold winning the gold medal so he does have a relationship with some of those players but what what is the reason for this for the skid and Bruce Cassidy who want to stay on the
cup with this team a couple of years ago was it did they just need a new voice in the dressing room is that it it's a curious time to make a move like this does it spark the team do they go on a run here and it's towards the guy to give them the push needed to not just make the playoffs which right now they are barely holding on to a playoff spot but to then make a run through the western conference of the Stanley Cup playoffs we'll examine that coming up in a little bit but our very own Dave Ross will join me Scott Sidenberg coming up next right here on live bet Sunday on Vsyn the sports betting network few things are as uplifting as the greatest moments in sports and nothing brings us together quite like team USA at the Olympic winter games from NBC Universal's iconic storytelling to the innovative technology across Xfinity and Peacock
