There is still one main theme as the madness marches on throughout this second weekend in an elite eight Saturday in a theme. Perhaps around the NCAA Tournament Dustin that features these penance behind me.

2:02Half of the elite eight playing in a regional final for the big 10 conference, including three of our four teams in action on this Saturday with our first all big 10 matchup in a regional final in the last two and a half decades. That would be Illinois in the Cinderella. If you want to coin them, that the Iowa Hawkeyes a little bit later and Houston. And of course, a one two matchup in the West Regional Final as anticipated in San Jose between Arizona and Purdue. And all of that is great for later. I think Dustin and I enjoy somewhat of a pre game show environment to make sure that you are ready and you are set for everything that you will see. But with a pre game show also comes the live wagering opportunity on a program that is aptly named LiveBet Saturday. So I am excited for our first full slate in the 2026 Major League Baseball season. All 30 clubs, 15 games, not the docket. There is a lot to break down in the closing week and a half or so of the NBA regular season as well. Eight Major League Baseball games will be an action during the program. I have plays and basically all of them except for one.

3:04I'm sure that surprise is nobody here. Two NBA games will tip off. We'll get to one that's about to get going in about eight minutes. We'll preview the elite eight where legacies are on the line, my friend. We've got a situation where Tommy Lloyd or Matt Painter who need to go to the final four for everything they've accomplished. One of them will punch their ticket to go to the final four later on this weekend. John Shire or Dan Hurley, there's a lot on the line there in terms of legacy. Rick Barnes looking to take Tennessee potentially to their first ever final four. But he has to get through Dustin May and Michigan first and speaking of Michigan. Is this the best Wolverines basketball team we've ever seen? I will ask Ben Stevens that a little bit later on in the show. Finally, Ben McCollum, the biggest test for his style. But a guy who's great on the turnaround and tournament play against a top tier offense in Illinois, it doesn't get juicier than some of these storylines. We'll hit on all of that more. But more importantly, we've got to get some bets going. So first off, we have got a NBA game that is getting going in moments here.

4:06And I do have an official play in this one. I thought about a second one, but I know it doesn't seem that way. When you look at vison.com slash picks where you see the picks from every show, I did show some restraint and not bet the second bet in this game. San Antonio is on the road in Milwaukee. They're laying 17 and a half against the box. The total is 227 and a hook. So the spurs are two and a half games back to the one seed right now. They're on a seven game surge. They've won 23 of 25. Well, you got Milwaukee 10 games out of the 10 seed. So not a lot going for them. Yannis is out, Kevin Porter, Jr. is out. There was a plethora of guys questionable leading into this game. That are dealing with some nagging injuries. The bucks have lost 12 of 15. They have not looked very good. And the play that I have in this one is Stefan Castle. I'm going to go over 16 and a half points. You look at the bucks defense. They allow the six most points to opposing shooting guards. He's gone over this number in five of his last eight. He had 19 against Milwaukee on January 15. Here's the concern with overs this time of year, though, Ben.

5:07Is we have a lot of big point spreads. And this one at 17 and a half is certainly a big one. So you wonder if Castle be in there in the fourth quarter to go over this number. My hope is he clears it early. The other bet that I was kind of considering was Ryan Rollins for the bucks. Over 32 and a half points rebounds and assists combined just because of volume. When Kevin Porter, Jr. and Yannis are out, he gets a ton of work as the main distributor. But the problem is San Antonio is pretty good against guards. Fifth few is to assist per game to point guards. And I do think that is something that he was going to need to have a big boost on if he was going to clear 32 and a half. I just thought the number was a little bit too big for me. So I stayed away. In terms of the side, it's a tough call. Mitch Johnson's four and one against the spread as a road favorite of 12 and a half plus points. Doc Rivers, pretty good as a home dog with Milwaukee. One and O against the spread when the numbers this big, 20 and 15 against the spread overall as a home underdog. So the one play we have there is Stefan Castle over 16 and a half points.

6:07This is the theme this late in an NBA season. San Antonio will play its ninth to last game of the year, two and a half back of OKC who routed Chicago yesterday, posting a hundred and thirty one points. The Spurs still can make a move after the one seed. The Thunder probably with a two and a half game lead and during their final eight games of this NBA regular season can hold off San Antonio, but postseason positioning available for Wembee and his Spurs. Not necessarily the case for the Milwaukee buck. 17 and a half point number as Dustin said the way I would approach this game is also thinking points, but specifically for the Spurs, their team total 122 and a half. Milwaukee has been booked because of the injuries they have namely to Yannis as a double digit underdog in four of their previous five games. This will be five in the last six in those four games as a double digit dog two and two against the number Dustin, but the defense hasn't been great for the box. They've allowed at least 123 points and all four of those games as a double digit dog.

7:08Again, the team total for the Spurs is 122 and a half and two Dustin's point. Of course, it has been a main theme and conversation around the Western conference and the association as a whole. Can anybody truly catch? Can anybody truly rival our rating NBA champs in Oklahoma City who entered this year with guy high expectation got off to such a great start and have been playing with their food ever. So slightly and yet still remain as the one seed in the Western conference. If it is anybody, it feels like it is San Antonio out West 21 and two since February 1st, best in the NBA 17 and two outright since the all star break 11 and eight against the number and booked as a double digit favorite in five of those 19 games three and two ATS as well. So that's really the component of the NBA down the stretch that we see on display here inside the Pfizer for. We've also got Major League Baseball. A lot of games about to get going here. One in the early section of the show a few more in the second hour of the program.

8:08Cubs lead the nationals in the fourth inning four to one currently and the Cardinals on top of the raise to nothing. However, Tampa based threatening in the fourth with two on and one out for Caminero. So that could be dangerous there. We both have plays on the game that's about to have their first pitch in just mere moments Toronto and Dylan C's hosting the A's and Jeffrey Springs. The blue J's are about minus two dollars. You can get plus at hour 63 with the A's and springs. The total in the game is eight. We are both looking at this total band. What are you doing in this contest? Yeah, a huge game for Toronto. Of course, as they started their American League pennant defense yesterday against the A's they walked it off courtesy of Andres Hemenis who had all three rivets for the blue J's. Shaling a lear's by the way had both home runs and all of the offense provided for the athletics up in the six. I really like Jeffrey Springs. He was okay last year in his first game with the A's or his first season with the athletics following a pretty solid stint, although a little bit injury ridden in Tampa Bay debut

9:11in Toronto for Dylan C's who signed a seven year 210 million dollar contract this off season after the previous two years in San Diego C's last year in ERA that was above four five. I do think we can see some pop. I do think we can see some offense. Dustin, you are in Las Vegas. The athletics will play a few games in summer. And this year, of course, we await the Las Vegas A's in just a few years. If there is something that really like about the athletics, it's their offensive firepower up and down the lineup. I mentioned guys like laying a leaders. How about the reigning AL rookie of the year in Nick Kurtz? You have Lawrence Butler as well. A lot of offensive firepower yesterday just a three two game in Toronto. I think we are going to look at the athletics throughout this MLB campaign as an over team or at least a team that is fun to watch on the offensive side. So bet the over of that total for this game in Toronto today. And yeah, we're really like minded, which always makes me feel better. I'm on the team total for the Toronto Blue Jays over four and a half. This is the squadest season to go.

10:11That was fourth and major league baseball and OPS against South Paws. And while I like Jeffrey Springs, I do think he's hit a bull. And a few of these guys in this lineup see the ball well off of him. You've got Vladie four of six with a Homer Ernie Clement, who is a very good splits guy as a platoon in fielder, more so against left handed pitching to for seven with a dinger, even bar dros, a left handed bad is hit a Homer against him in three at bats Davis Schneider, a Homer as well. Jimenez, who you mentioned for a light hitting middle in fielder under some men is actually okay at times against left handed pitching. So because of all of that, I'm going to go team total for Toronto over Springs in 2025 against the Blue Jays six earned in a couple of innings in one start at the Blue Jays. And then at home, you know, we had a better performance which is weird at Sacramento where the ball flies out, but he was actually better at home against them. I just think that they're used to him from his time with Tampa Bay in the A.L. East like they just know what his repertoire is. So I'm on the team total over four and a half for the Toronto Blue Jays. So Ben and I both with over plays with the Blue Jays and the A's

We've got hockey wrapping up and BA wrapping up in the next few weeks as we get set for the postseason. Don't forget the NFL draft is right around the corner. And oh, by the way, March Madness is still upon us as we are whittled down to the elite eight, my friend, where, you know,

15:22this tournament, it always delivers even when people get upset that there's a lack of upsets. The reality is you always get drama. You always get storylines and there's a lot on the line as we start to look ahead to what's happening here in the elite eight. But how do we get here? Well, the sweet 16 little bit of drama for some of these teams, some of them decided to just roll. And I think when we look at the bracket with Michigan meeting Tennessee, I'm fascinated by just how we got here with both of these squads. Ben because Michigan a preseason, you know, 20 to 1-ish. I have them from early in the year to win the title. Tennessee was 100 to 1, not that long ago as this tournament began. And Rick Barnes is a game away from taking the balls to their first final four, but Dusty May has a lot of expectations for this Wolverine squad with everything that he's done in the last couple seasons there. Just you as a big 10 guy when you see Michigan involved here in the final four or in the Indian for Indian slip there in the elite. Hey, what is your feeling on them with them playing without case on the last

16:26few weeks? Yeah, I think Michigan is still look really good. LJ case and kind of being that reliable backup point guard sensational. But I think guys like Roddy Gale, I think the young freshman and Trayma Kenny have kind of found their way in terms of what they need. And when you have the actual lender board, who is the big 10 player of the year performing as the big 10 player of the year, 23 points last night, 12 boards, seven dimes, four made triples. That was the first performance of those kinds of numbers, 2010 and five with at least three made threes in a sweet 16 game or later since Carmelo Anthony did so for Syracuse. Yes, my alma mater. And our last time of real glory in 2003 and the national championship game. When you have the actual lender board performing the way he did and Dustin, one of the things that I found fascinating last night for the Mason Blue was the second half adjustment because I thought Alabama was playing its game in the first half against the Wolverines in Chicago, pacing Michigan up, getting their looks offensively. LeBaron Phylon is sensational taking threes. The volume always going to be there for the tide and hitting a bunch.

17:28I was surprised for a Michigan team, the second most efficient defensively that they were not trying to slow down Alabama on that side of the floor because that's what Michigan does. Michigan also in top 25 team, but wants the opposition to take up about 60% of the shot clock, 18.2 seconds per possession on average. Alabama was having its way in the opening 20 minutes, not in the last 20. That's where Michigan's elite nature really started to stand out. So I am not surprised to see the Wolverines at this stage in the elite eight. I am not surprised to see the Mason Blue as a seven and a half point favorite in a Midwest regional final against Tennessee. And I would be shocked if Michigan does not win that game tomorrow against the volunteers to see the final four, which of course, for a conference that this late in the month of March has not often had many things to brag about. In the last two plus decades, feels pretty good for the big 10 to have half of the field still remaining in the elite eight. You mentioned Yaxl Lendenborg and bear with me on this theory. Tell me if you think there's any truth behind it.

18:30I think Dusty May managed him throughout the season where he had plenty of great games. The average about 15 points per game. He is one of the best players in the nation, but I think he was very intentional and not unleashing him completely and running everything around him and through him until he has to do it, which is now in the NCAA tournament. And we've seen Lendenborg the last few games, 23 points against Alabama, 25 points against St. Louis, where he's really thrived and taken on just a slightly bigger role in doing the scoring here. And when I look at him, do you believe that Dusty May kind of, I don't know if it's sandbag, but slow played the Lendenborg hand that he has this season with the Wolverines? Yeah, I think that they have so much talent around Yaxl, that Yaxl being a versatile player despite being 69 to 50, you found some other ways of doing it with the post presence of Marez Johnson, Jr. And a dimara with Elliott Kendo, still the point guard running the ship. But I think Yaxl, Lendenborg really had shown throughout the year, dust and

19:31on full display, but he was going to add in basically every single component. He's probably not your 28 point performer taking over a game solely because of what he does offensively. Of course, he can rack it up in terms of that points production as well. That's not necessarily his style. He is so good at so many things for this Bayes in Blue Squad. I think we are seeing that on display. And again, as the big 10 player of the year, he had his fair share of accolades throughout this regular season. It has been the story for this Bayes in Blue side. They are incredibly efficient. They are incredibly fast in terms of what they knew offensively. It really shows that this Michigan team under Dusty May, analytically, metrically has evolved in the way that we have seen a ton in college basketball in the last three, four, five years start to play the game stylistically. Update at Rigglyfield, Miguel Amaya, the catcher for the cubbies with a home run to make it five to one against the nationals. They're now minus 4900. You can get 1080 the other way with the Nats total in games nine and a half. I consider the over nine and a half.

20:31It's a little juiced though at minus 143. So maybe I don't know if I love paying that price. But Miles Michaelis, he will be the gift that keeps on giving this year. If you're looking to bet overs for a starting picture all throughout the year. As Michaelis is still on the bump here in the fourth inning. An update in St. Louis Cardinals in the fifth still on top of the Tampa Bay race, two to nothing. And we just got going with the Blue Jays and A's where Ben is on the game total over. I am on the Blue Jays team total over in that contest back to Yaxel. Lendenborg, where one of his teammates, um, Roddy Gale decided to go out there and let the world know what he really thinks of Lendenborg as a player. When you see Yax go off like he did. I think you actually had like 10 points in the first eight minutes, uh, two steals, a bunch of assists. When you see him doing things like that, what goes through your guys mind? You got Yax playing like that. Like just the kind of competitiveness he had today. I think he's the best player in the country without a doubt. And he's like that. He's a really best team. So I feel like, you know, we need that Yax. We need that from him. And I know that he's going to be able to provide for us.

21:34So Ben, I don't, I don't disagree with Roddy Gale. I think Lendenborg very might well be the best player in the country. But then there was a quote from Lendenborg following their win. Stating that Michigan, this Michigan team is the best Wolverines basketball squad we've ever seen. And I hate to be that guy. Maybe it's because I'm now 41 years old. And I'm pushing into my 40s now where I just believe everything I saw in the past was better than what I'm seeing right now. But I find it hard for us to believe that this is not only the best Michigan team ever, but even the second best Michigan team ever. I think I have them at three. What do you think about that statement? Yeah, I don't think that's crazy. Right? Last decade and a half, we have seen two Michigan men's basketball teams play for a national championship coming up short in both 2013 and 2018. But still they have reached a stage and a pinnacle of this sport. We're not so sure this year's Mason Blue team is going to get to despite being one of the favorites to win a national championship. We were talking about this in the group chat with our producer Preston as well.

22:35Is the 2012 13 Michigan team better than this 2025 2016? I would agree with you and say yes. When you look at that roster, yes, it is nostalgic, but it's awesome. You've got NBA players, Trey Burke, Nick Stalskis, Tim Hardaway, just to name a few. You've got the start of an outstanding freshman class of Karris Leverk, Mitch McGarry, Spike Albright, and of course, Glenn Robinson as well. It was an incredibly talented Wolverine's team under John B line. But one of the interesting things, Dustin, that when you look magically, this year's Michigan squad in its second season under Dusty May is far better in far superior and basically every single data point. And we have talked often about the NCAA tournament college basketball's climate as a whole. And I think one of the reasons we are seeing favorites prevail in such a large way, overwhelmingly so throughout this tournament, despite some dogs covering numbers and winning outright, of course, in this second weekend so far is because of those efficiency numbers, just to highlight this here. That Michigan 2012 13 team was the most efficient offense in college basketball

23:38this year. They took 34.2% of their overall field goal tries from three. That three point rate, then that of about 330 plus teams was 144 in the country. 34.2% three point rate. Now Dustin, Sweden would rank 290 out of 365 in college basketball. It is those developments that we have seen across the sport and at the highest levels of this sport that kind of separates some of the upper echelon and the power conferences from even the lower tier teams in those high major leagues. And of course, with the distinctions in front of the mid major. So when you ask that question, I still lean on 2013 as a better Michigan team. And at least they have proven that they could get to that national championship game. We'll see if this year's Wolf Rains do the same. But it was fun to look at the metric numbers and kind of a statement on where we are in college basketball in the last decade plus. That's great stuff, man. I also think there's like a factor where people aren't remembering how good Mitch McGarry was during that run. What what Nick Stoskis was like draining shots.

24:39The spice all spike all brec shot in that moment. Like this team's good. Don't get me wrong. But there was something about that continuity with the Wolverines back then. They're laying seven and a half against Rick Barnes and the Wolverines where they're going to their third straight elite eight more from Rick Barnes a little bit later on in the program. 26:47with two 16 to go in the first quarter. By the way, Ben, I kind of like that they play quarters. I know it's a tradition that college basketball that we play have. I actually like that the way there's a lot of elements of the women's game that you can't appreciate if you just turn it on and watch it. No doubt about it. And this year's women's NCAA tournament has been much more upset prone than a very shocking tournament often is in this sport. We have seen three of the four two seeds already ousted by the end of the sweet 16 one on their own home floor in Iowa city. That was Iowa women's hoops, but maybe they gave some of their powers to Iowa men's basketball, of course, to reach its first elite eight since 1987, the Virginia Cavaliers, the team that upset the hawks in CHA now playing against TCU today. Really interesting game against one of the best sport in Olivia Miles. She and her horn frogs a seven and a half point favorite, but we still see dust in the cream rise to the top each and every year, both in the men's and women's NCAA tournament as you get into the second weekend and the third weekend and beyond.

27:51The one line is incredibly incredibly strong, Connecticut undefeated and continues to lay waste to basically everybody in their path. Texas on that one line as well today, taken on an SEC foe up by 14 late here in this first quarter. Texas was a pregame 18 and a half point favorite. They're laying 24 and a half lie. We have another one seed in South Carolina, of course, Don Staley, perhaps the best coach in this sport alongside. Geno Oriema taking on an Oklahoma team, another all SEC affair, this OU team, according to our good friends at CBB analytics is the fastest team plays at the fastest tempo in all of D1 women's college basketball. It is why against the South Carolina team known for its defense third most efficient in the country. The total is one 53 and a half. I am fascinated to see if the sooners can outpace the game talks to keep this game competitive. It's a 17 and a half point spread and maybe push us to that pregame total of one 53 and a half. That game starting in just about an hour and a half.

28:53He is Ben Stevens. I'm Dustin Sweetles in its live bet Saturday, Vsyn, these sports betting network want to go back to men's college groups for just a moment here. Look back on what went down this weekend with the Duke St. John's game specifically been because I really wanted St. John's. I wanted that story to continue. I wanted the veterans going deep, making a run, going to the elite eight and just seeing what Patino could do with this bunch just because he had so many seniors. He had a unique group that he talked about following the loss, but I thought St. John's the story would have been fun. However, all of us kind of wrote off Duke because of the injuries because of the scare to see Anna because of them playing with a little bit of fire lately here as the season has gone on. But here we are, John Shires got this team back to the elite eight. They were able to take down a St. John's team that got what they needed from three. The Johnny shot 41% beyond the arc, but we're out rebounded 40 to why not write down 13.

29:53I think it's 33 40 to 33 is the actual but Caleb Foster's return. The impact that he had coming back from injury and Baga and Gangba has been back now for a couple games. You've got Duke looking healthier, but my question for you as they get set to take on Yukon. Do you worry that maybe that they've been tested a little bit too much here in their path and they could be beaten down with a physical Yukon team on the other side of St. John's. There's a lot of things I like about what Connecticut presents against Duke tomorrow as a five and a half point underdog. 18 that will crash the glass that will test Duke in a way that St. John's really was unable to 40 to 27. I think the official rebounding split 13 more boards in favor of the blue devils. One thing Yukon is going to have to be great at the St. John's actually did a really good job of especially those opening 25 minutes or so was hitting the three. St. John's is not a team that loves to shoot a ton of threes, but they shot a ton of threes in their three NCAA tournament games.

30:54More threes attempted in their opening to wins against Northern Iowa and Kansas. Same amount of three point attempts yesterday, 32 against the Dukeies as they had two point field goals, also 32, but St. John's hit more than 40%. Of course, the one that could have tied the game late from Dylan Darling did not necessarily get there. I was on money move the past two days, dust and alongside JVT one of the bets I gave out yesterday. St. John's team total under 67 and a hook. We were discussing this game and a lot of people liking the Johnny's as a six and a half point dog to keep this game within two possessions. JVT still thought Duke was the right side, and I thought because of that, which I agreed with St. John's would have some offensive struggles. They didn't they went over that team total of 67 and a hook finishing with 75 points. So when it became very clear for the red storm who had 40 at the break. We're going to make my bet. Look obsolete. I just was rooting for Rick Patino to get to the elite eight. I don't love Duke. I am not a Duke fan. So if they could have some struggles, I look to St. John's maybe to pull off that upset and entering yesterday, right?

31:56But you know, was 12 and one outright in his prior sweet 16 games in his career to go 13 and one and 14 games would have been miraculous. It is already the best win percentage in sweet 16 games for a college basketball coach ever. So I was kind of cheering for St. John's down the stretch. It became very apparent though as they started to cool off ever so slightly from three. The Duke was going to win the game and Duke was maybe even going to cover the game. They did not cover only winning by five closing as a six and a half point favorite, but still it felt like St. John's had some opportunities. Just kind of cool down down the stretch when they needed a critical shot that could not get. Yeah, but I thought part of the reason for the struggles for Duke against St. John's why it was a tough matchup for the Blue Devils. Was the veteran aspect of the John's and I think you're seeing that again as they take on Yukon here, it's a veteran team. I mean, is anyone more experienced in college basketball and Alex Caravan the last few years with all the success that he's had. So we're going to look at a spread where it's five and a half the totals 133 and a half and oh, by the way,

33:02Dan Hurley enters this one nine and oh covering in the sweet 16 or later 13 and oh against the spread. Round of 32 or later 18 and five straight up in the NCAA tournament. I like Yukon. I'm taking those points here with that matchup tomorrow, Ben, because I just think Hurley their size, their experience. And I just wonder if the Blue Devils are despite getting healthy a bit beaten down because this path has been difficult. We'll see how Caleb Foster responds 11 points five of seven shooting in 19 minutes. He was great. Isaiah Evans had a legacy game for his time in Durham. Patrick Gungba hasn't done all that much since returning from injury in the round of 32. Again, for me, it's going to be critical, Dustin. How does Connecticut shoot the three last night against Michigan State was their best performance so far in the big dance, but only nine of 21. Duke allows nearly 39% of opponent points this year from three point range, meaning they're hard to score on inside the paint. So yeah, kind of have to shoot the three. That is a top 10 most high rate in terms of opponent points production from three this season.

34:09So Yukon's going to have to be good. St. John's was they shot better than 40% and still came up a little bit short. I like what Yukon can present defensively with some of that interior presence led by Terris Reed Jr. Who is having one of the best NCAA tournaments across the board from any player in this field here in 2026. Yukon has not been booked as an underdog this season. They were a dog eight times last year, form four against the number with a couple of outright victories, including Dustin. Sweetles in a cover in the round of 32 against the eventual champs in Florida, losing that game by two as a nine point dog. Dan Hurley and his Huskies since the start of the 2023 NCAA tournament now 16 and one straight up 16 and one against the spread. I'm hoping this game is close tomorrow afternoon in DC. I expected to be got an update for you at Wrigley Field. The Cubs have played in another run against the Nats. It's now six to two. Thanks to a Nico Horner RBI double. You hang them. Hold bang them. That's exactly what happened there.

38:20That's the problem that's exposed here because these games do not matter. I don't care what anyone says. We've all decided where things are. These teams have been either in their spot in the playoffs and felt good about it for a while or hoping maybe to move up one or two if they're lucky. But there's not that many races that really intrigue me right now. We could start the playoffs tomorrow and I'd be good with it. Our bet on Stefano Castle, though, looks good. 11 points in the first half so far for him. We're on over 16 and a half. So we're trending in the right direction. But the spurs are laying 27 and a half in game. The total is 227 and a hook. I'd consider an underbet at this point. Ben, just because San Antonio is going to pull players late in this game. And think about that pregame total was 227 and a half. San Antonio has got 44 points, two minutes into the second quarter. In the total is where it was pregame because Milwaukee, as I said earlier Dustin, double digit dog and four of the previous five now make it five of the last six in those four games as a double digit dog basically in the last week or so.

39:21They have allowed at least 123 points in all four of those games. In the last three, though, Milwaukee hasn't reached the century mark in terms of their own offensive output. So I think it's a good look from the live perspective. And again, think this is kind of what we are seeing right now in the NBA. Ten games late on a Friday around the association. Seven of those ten games featured at least a nine and a half points spread. One of the three that didn't was an eight and a half point number. And then we had two pretty good games out east in Cleveland and in Boston. The Celtics getting the better of the Hawks who have been the hottest team in the Eastern Conference since the All-Star break. But this is what we kind of can expect. Large numbers, motivation, which is hard to handicap. But that of course being a huge component when you have big bands of injuries. When you have injuries to start players for a team like Yannis, four Milwaukee and a San Antonio team that is holding out some hope. They can make a very late run and catch Oklahoma City back by two and a half games for that top spot out west. You are going to see these lopsided affairs, even when the odds makers expect it to be a very lopsided game as a 17 and a half point.

40:24Pretty games spread in favor of San Antonio on the road in Milwaukee. It's live at Saturday, Dustin Sweetleson, Ben Stevens with you. And we're now going to talk a little college hoops as we go to the progressive guest line. ESPN analyst Seth Greenberg joins us now here on the program. Coach, I really appreciate you doing this today. We've got the Elite 8 set. And as you look at the matchup specifically tonight, Iowa and Illinois. As someone who's had to do this before where you have to take a team like Illinois that's highly offensive, a team in Iowa that's highly defensive where it's a clash of styles. Who do you think prevails in this sort of sort of matchup? Well, obviously not realizing how good Illinois is defensively in the last 10 games. But Illinois and the last 10 games has improved, immensely defensively. Now, this game's going to come down to tempo, not who's good defensively and who's bad defensively. Because Illinois, since Kyle and Baswell's been back in the last 10 games, if you look what they've done defensively,

41:24they are much underrated defensive teams. So this is about pace. You've got to be disciplined when you play against Iowa. You've got to be disciplined offensively. But you've got to also be disciplined defensively in terms of you've got to finish possessions. You've got to guard the whole possession. You can't make sure that it starts doesn't beat you. The ball's going to be in his hands. Paul Garrison's playing at a high level. You know, that's a matchup problem at his size. You've got to make sure you run him off the three. But this really is going to come down to defensive discipline. And then Illinois can't as good as they are offensively. They can't turn the ball over. Yeah, Iowa's were 70 points again off of turnovers, which is a crazy number. Considering it's in the place so slow, but they're so active in gaps. Now, in the last game where Illinois hurt them, one starts gotten foul trouble, which was huge for Iowa. And then Illinois hurt them on hurting your offense and bringing like, in these hits, you'll wait in the basket. He knocked down two, threes. But it's a contrast of styles,

42:26but not a contrast of the terms of efficiencies in terms of their defenses. Yeah, we saw Iowa in that game against Nebraska. Force 10 turnovers from the Huskers advancing to the elite eight for the first time since 1987. So I do want to ask you about first year Iowa head coach in Ben McCollum leading the Hawks to the elite eight for the first time since 1987 as I alluded to. And in the last two games despite being an underdog, they kind of outplayed their opposition in their style. They were 19 of 27 and two point field goals against Florida, had more offensive rebounds than the Gators in that game. And they took 33s against the Huskers to Nebraska, allowing the three point shot in volume this year. And they made 13 triples. How do you explain the coaching job that Ben McCollum has done in his first year in Iowa City? It is a great job. It's not his first review. The guys got four national championships. He goes what he's doing. He got the right kind of guys. He got his guys to follow him, which was huge. And then he got the type of guys that he's been able to coach, guys that buy in, that play hard, that embrace roles,

43:28that understand the system, that are competitive and tough, and then he retained the right guys. But he's always been a really good coach. I mean, you don't do what he did in Division Two when you still drive embosses and mop in the floor and recruiting and you got 8,000 other roles. Sometimes these two guys have other teams that they got to coach. Well, that wasn't his situation, but really good coach with a system of play, underletting in terms of expectation of how the game's supposed to be played. And he's got total buy-in. Very, very impressive. We had him on our game day show this morning. He was, he was absolutely phenomenal in terms of just how impressive he was and how committed he is to doing the things that he thinks is important. He's not afraid to coach his team. I mean, no shortage of storylines when it comes to these two programs. Painter trying to get back to the final four.

44:28Tommy Lloyd looking to advance there. The Wildcats are five and a half point favorites. The total is 152 and a half in this game. How do you see this game being played out? I think the game's going to go up to time to an extent. I mean, Arizona is just so good. To me, it's the force and the pace and the flow they play with. They don't give a chance to set your defense. But I think another team that's underrated defensively. I think that got physicality and perimeter in their guards with Jaden Bradley and Karchenko, Elite Defender. Barry's is a very good defender and extremely athletic and tough at playing gaps. But they pressure the basketball. And then on the other end, you know, whether they're great, they can play big with the two bigs, which are so, you know, but they play that supposed to post basketball. Man, that's good. I mean, it's just really, really good. But they also attack your transition. When I say about pace, they're pushing every single possession like versus a one man fast break. So I think the size of the perimeter defense

45:30of Arizona will be a big factor in this game. As good as Braden Smith is in his phenomenal. And as good as lawyer has played in the NCAA tournament, I look at, I look at like Karchenko, but he could take lawyer out. And he's just an elite, elite defender. Now, you got to get another team. You got to be disciplined defensively against because they're going to run actions over actions over actions. And you've got to be able to get defensively to the next action. But I like Arizona in this game. I think Arizona's, we were there to be 12th tournament, the shot making, the physicality, the toughness, the stick to this. Tommy Lloyd is a cool dude, man. I'm like, they were down like 14 to two against Iowa State and he didn't call time out. I said, Tommy, what are you doing? You didn't call time out because I'm not a very smart coach, but I trust my team, which was really impressive. A matchup of one versus two in the West Regional Final tonight in San Jose, a matchup of one versus two in the East Regional Final tomorrow evening in Washington, D.C. Seth, it's a college basketball dream matchup.

46:32It's Duke and it's Yukon. It's also a five and a half point spread in favor of the Blue Devils. In your estimation, what's the key matchup tomorrow night between the Huskies and the Blue Devils and the nation's capital? I think it's a big thing is, can Caleb Foster come out and play the way he played the other day in 36 hours playing the blue basically to broken foot? I guess it was a Jones fracture. He's got a screw in there. I know they would not put him at risk, but when John Shire said he shouldn't be playing, I went, whoa, then why is he playing? Look, Duke's got the effector. I mean, and I don't mean like, they're a bunch of cool dudes. I mean, they find ways they got winning players. Sar takes the head of the snake out, which is really important. I just don't know who the snake is for this Yukon team. What do you take out? Do you take out Demory? No, he's not the head of the snake. Do you take out Solo Ball? He's not the head of the snake. He's not Garden Towers Reed. So does that mean do you take him out of Caravan coming off all those screens and flares and re-screens and running all over the place?

47:35I don't know, but I think that's going to be one factor. And then the biggest factor is the Booser and Caravan. Who matches up on who? Coach, if Al's Caravan matches up on Booser, that's going to be a tough matchup. Coach, thank you so much for doing this today. We really appreciate the perspective. You do an awesome job on TV.
