And we're off interacing here at Kentucky Downs in Franklin, Kentucky as we are at the midgaming hall right above the circus sports book. I am Brad Taylor. You can find me on Twitter at bottom line, Lex, and alongside us is, as usual, Will Hill. You can follow him at not the Will Hill to ease that the, as we are here on final four Saturday. Will, how are you today, sir? Brad, what's going on in the words of Michael Buffer? Let's get ready to rumble. I am excited for these two games, two awesome games, I would think at least on paper. It's been a long day waiting for them. Yeah, we've had some baseball to keep us occupied, but we've talked about them all week.

We've been waiting for them all day. I'm excited here. We're about what eight or nine minutes away from tipping the ball off. So let's do it. It should be a lot of fun. These games line up really well based on our show schedule and just how the timing with that fit. So it should be a lot of fun sitting here and watch you con in Illinois and see who is going to the national title game on Monday. Could not have said it better myself. They are singing the national anthem right now in Indianapolis. As we see Danny Hurley looks like he's in tears, watching, listening to the national anthem. Maybe he's in tears over what happened to the women's team last night. That's another story for another day. But we are only about eight minutes away allegedly from tip off here. So we'll kind of leave baseball in the hind side for a minute and talk about this game. Illinois in Yukon, the three seed Illinois, the two seed Yukon right now. Our friends at circa have Illinois a two point favor to this one. Lower seeded trap. Maybe total here is one thirty nine, money line Illinois minus one thirty Yukon plus

one ten. All the talk is over now. We're about eight minutes from tip off your thoughts on this game from a handicapping perspective. I went with Yukon. I would admit a lot of sharp people I know and have listened to are on the other side with Illinois, you know, Ken Palm makes it for I get all that at the end of the day. I'm just going to trust Hurley who's outstanding in these tournaments. It's almost like betting against Patrick my homes and the chiefs in the playoffs because you know, eventually, you know, you have that game against the Eagles, the Subaru, where it goes wrong in that theory that approach doesn't work. But it works a lot more than it doesn't 17 out 18 right now for early covering the spread 17 out of 18 in the tournament, winning these games outright. The one trip up last year to Florida where they could have won as a big dog and then they won against firm in this year, but didn't cover. Other than that, I mean, 17 to one against the spread is pretty damn hard to beat, hard to even believe. Now, does that affect today's game? I'm not sure. These are all independent events. I know that, but I think Yukon, just there off the ball stuff to me, I went back and

rewatched the game Black Friday against Illinois. They're off the ball stuff, really confused Illinois. They got some easy looks. They're endless screening. They're endless cutting emotion, gave Illinois trouble. Now you could also make the case Illinois has seen it once before. They're going to be more prepared. They're going to be ready this time. You already, we already took the test. We get to take the test the second time and that was those were both different teams all the way back in November, different lineups, things like that, but I'm going with Hurley here and we can talk about these games that were blue in the face and we sure have. You could say about the later game, you could say about this game, the three point shot. Yukon shot it terribly against UCLA and firm in the first round and they shot it terribly. For most of the game against Duke until they didn't, they shot it really well against Michigan State and they really shot it well. The last few minutes against Duke, as we know, including the last one that will live forever regardless of what happens going forward. So they're going to have to make some threes, but they've got guys like caravan moans and ball or good shooters who have been cold for long stretches here. So yeah, they're probably going to have to sink some threes here. But I am on Yukon and I'm excited to hear what you think of this game and what you're on, but excited more so to get this game going here.

I always hate to do this. I always tell you I hate to do this, but I'm going to have to riverside you here, Will. I'm taking the line I, not just being the lower seeded trap, but maybe the line for the last game of that game was played on November 28th. We all know that Yukon won that game by 13, but the line for that game, Yukon was a four and a half point favorite here and that total was 151 and a half. Flash forward today. Now Illinois, the point and a half favorite two points, spending a workshop at 139 and a half year total. That's not only a big difference in the point spread. It's a big difference in the total as well. Does that tell you anything and maybe affect you in any way, the fact that the point spreads in the totals were much different in that game back in November. Let me ask you if you were getting four and a half within Illinois on black Friday and now you're laying to why do you like the six and a half point disadvantage from the last time these teams played? See, that's a good point and I hate to give you credit for making a good point.

That's a good point right there because what's, you don't want to, you, we always talk about the best of it. We're always looking for the best of it and now, you know, there's something I've learned from, especially talking to you, yeah, if I could have had it seven, half and now I can get it at six. Yeah. Well, I didn't get the best of it. Maybe I should be thinking twice about taking it at six. So getting the best of it is a big key here. The fact that that line has moved and you're not getting the best of it. That is something that scares me off, but then again, like you said, the analytics, the Ken Palm and the lower seeded trap here, we do see the public here is kind of on Connecticut 56% of the tickets are on Yukon, but 54% of the money is on Illinois. That's a very, very slight, sharp move, kind of sort of two Illinois, but that's why I'm taking the Alignite tonight. Laying the chalk to, I know a lot of people don't like laying very short lines of what it happened to. That's the money line for the scared people, but I'm taking the Alignite. Do you have any thoughts on the total in this game? Is it 139 right now?

Would lean under just because, I mean, we know that the trends with the games that are played in these big football arenas, and this is a big arena. This is Lucas Oil Stadium in theapolis, where the Colts play, shooting backdrops could be tough. Both these teams from our next is no standpoint. Yukon's okay playing in the half-core Illinois is okay playing in the half-core, so I don't really want to always really get on offense. It feels like that's baked in a little bit, but it would certainly be under or passed for me. I ultimately passed. Full disclosure, I've talked about these tickets all year, I gave out Yukon, bet Yukon 15 to one before the season, and then again, during the season, that's the only future I gave out, that's the only title future I've bet. So, on one hand, I'm happy to have that alive, I'm lucky to have that alive, we can see what happened against Duke, but on the other hand, when I made that bet, I'm thinking all right, I get to the final four I could probably hedge, and last couple of times the Huskies have been here, I could have taken 7, 8, 9 points in the final four and had some middle set up. Now, I'm kind of selling off my profits a little bit, but again, happy to have it alive, very lucky. You know, if you were to tell me at 40 to 21 Duke last week, hey, you're going to be sitting

here with a chance to go to the championship game in a week against Illinois, I would have been shocked to be on belief, I still can't believe they won that game. So, sweat now Yukon 15 to one, didn't feel the need to add to it personally with bets, but I do think Huskies plus two is the right side, use that for the circuit contest. Yeah, you and I will be going head to head here. Yeah, Will Hill can't get the smile on his face when he was telling that story right now. That's something to behold, but also you might need to get a chiropractor. I think his arm might be in a sling from trying to pat himself on the back with that Yukon 10. Well, really? No, it's great stuff. Oh, it's great. I could have 35 to one before the tournament. I could have 35 to one before the tournament, I could have 15 to one before the league. That's why I'm like, even though I'm happy to have it alive, I feel a little unsatisfied and unfulfilled because, yeah, 15 to one is great to have right now, and that's the bottom line that I'm, okay, I'm happy to have it. I always keep coming back to that, but I'm going to have 35 to one before the tournament. I could have had, you know, 15 to one, 20 to one, I think they were 27 to one heading

into the sweet 16. Well, think about it. I've been in 15 to one before the season before the, before the sweet 16, you already got two of the six wins you need in your pocket and you're getting almost double the price. So I didn't really time it perfectly, but 15 to one is a good number to have right now. You cannot live on a couple, a couple more days here and one more game. We're looking at the screen now, 15 and 23 Yukon was against the spread this year. Do you remember probably four, six weeks ago, I was sitting here and Yukon can't cover a point spread. They're not in the top 20 in defense. So they're not going to be one of those, you know, those projected winners that we like to take at the end of the brackets. And I said here, I think I called him a fraud because, yeah, everybody's on him. They're not. And Ken Palm for a period of time, they were right in the, in the I team, so to speak. So yeah, I was one of those people that I don't want to say I'd given up on them, but I thought there was a plenty of other teams out there that had a better chance to get this far than Yukon did. So I give you full credit for getting Yukon.

I know you're maybe a little bit homer up there, but that's okay. But that means you know more about it than I do. So yeah, Yukon and big odds right now, maybe a little hedge, but not enough to affect that Will Hill is going to win big on this tournament. So here we go. We're about there at the commercial. The lineups have been given out. And now we're ready for the first final four game, Illinois and Yukon. I'm still on Illinois here. You didn't convince me to take Yukon well. So I'm going to have to reversize you on this one. It's not personal. Not personal. It's never personal. It's always business. So what they told us in New Jack city. It's what Nino Brown told me back in the day is where do you have any other bets? Maybe some prop bets, certain players that you're looking for to have a good game. Anything else you're looking for? First half props maybe in this game, Will. See I can't bet this stuff in Connecticut college. Connecticut college is in Connecticut. You can't bet. So I've looked off shore and stuff. And the guy I was looking for solo ball is a guy who shot the ball terribly. But he was a hundred for two forty nine last year in three point attempts, 42% a little

under 42%. You should like 29% when you include the tournament this year. I could see him at some point getting hot. He's too good to continue to shoot the ball this poorly. And I would think Mullins has a big game coming off that three pointer. He'd been ice cold from beyond the arc. Wouldn't that if anything give him some confidence? So I don't tab one college player props very, very often if it all. So I'm not going to jump in here just to have action. But I would think bones. Mullins has a big game. And if you're looking for just a sleeper of can ball come to life and hit four or five threes just out of nowhere. That was one that was interesting to me just in terms of like a ladder. But no bet for me. Again, not my cup of tea. These college player props. So excited to watch the game. Looks like we're close to getting started. And I and Eagle will be the first person Brad in history to do the final four and the should a bit more podcast all in the same week was I was nice. Not to come on my podcast this week wherever you get your podcasts. Go to V. And so I need to make history this week. Yes, make sure to check out the should a bit more podcast and great name drop. I'm going to take some notes on that one. That's outstanding.

Dave drop by you. Well, good stuff for you. Yeah. So we are about ready to get underway. By the way, plus money on both those guys ball and hot and Mullins to get the three on two three pointers plus money on both those guys if you can still get it in certain places. As we are now underway, but sadly, we have to go to commercial as we're not just now getting underway in this game. Sin Pro. Back at Franklin, Kentucky this week after a week in Las Vegas, Nevada last week, boy, that was a good, that was a good little vacation for us. But we are back here at the circus sports book at the Midgaming Hall and in his live bed Saturday with me, Brad Taylor, alongside Will Hill, taking you through the first final four game and lo and behold, the man who scored the final point to the last game for Yukon scored the first points of this game for Yukon, Mullins has already hit two threes now. So yeah, Will Hill said right before the game started, look for will look for Mullins to get many three pointers in this when we said plus money to get three, he's already got two Yukon up eight to two now as we're about three and a half minutes in this first

half as Illinois just hits a two pointer and gets found eight four Yukon now up about three and a half minutes in current live bedding line, Yukon now is the favorite minus one and a half one forty one and a half your total on the live bedding line, Will were three and a half minutes in your thoughts with Mullins already with two three pointers for the Huskies. Yeah, I thought maybe that three pointer for a really good shooter and you know, it's poor as the numbers have been recently for mones, you watch that last shot, that's his peers, it gets just a pure form, the mechanics, the stroke, he's just a natural shooter, you know from following college hoops, those kids from Indiana, those boys from Indiana, they can all shoot it and you figure maybe making a shot like that, that'll relax you, that'll give them some confidence and I can't imagine as a side note here, I can't imagine how much fun his week has been, his son in a night has been being a college freshman and just hitting a shot like that and all of the love and attention he's gotten all week, I mean that must be a very enjoyable experience for mones, figured he relaxed, played a little better, maybe

shoot a little better, so so far so good here is he's knocked down a couple of threes, like you said, though, the Alainai answer and they do complete the three point play. So right off the bat, a six point lead for the Huskies, but Illinois cut to the half immediately and you know, it's early, but that's a big shot for Illinois to answer there because you're down six, you don't want that and we always talk about this, you don't want that to balloon to 10, 12 and all of a sudden, uh oh, this is Yukon in the final four and we're down double digits, so that was a good answer for Illinois who started slowly here is it looks like Yukon drives towards the basket, there was a lot of contact, but I guess they called that it was clean and Illinois comes back the other way and makes it a one point game here, so good action, the pace is picked up a couple of empty possessions early Brad where I'm sure that live total dropped three or four points after both teams, you know, missed their first few shots, but the offense is picked up here eight seven just under 16 minutes to go and we are underway here as Yukon and Caribbean shoots a three that rims out and early start here is the action's been pretty exciting.

Yeah, good start so far and we see Yukon now is, uh, just had a put back and an N1, so it's now 10 seven Yukon and they'll go to the free throw line to try to finish this off, so it's 10 seven at the moment Yukon is up on Illinois, they're still one and a half point favorite, 143 to half your total, you made a good point about Mullins there will, yeah, I don't think he had to, uh, kind of go to the bars looking for the ladies if you know what I mean this week, I think they came looking for him. I just, uh, yeah, I don't, I had to be that kind of on big man on campus. I hope he didn't announce an engagement of some sort. That was the problem I had with, there was a Travis Ford, the old coach of, uh, uh, now he's at Arkansas Little Rock, but he coached state Lewis, but going into his senior year, Kentucky back in the 90s, he announced before the year, hey, I've been gay, I'm getting engaged, I'm going to be married and I'm like, that's the biggest mistake a guy could make in the history of mankind. You could have walked on the UK campus and done anything you want, insert your own little, uh, kind of things there, but the,

announced your engagement right before your senior year when you're Kentucky basketball player, probably something I wouldn't have done. I'll just kind of, uh, sow my royal oats, so to speak. That's another story for another day. So I'm sure Mr Mullins, uh, had fun at the, uh, at the bars this week. I'll just put it to you that way. We're now at a commercial break. Well, he's too young to drink. He can't be at the bar. So, oh, well, it's something tells me, uh, he can sneak one under the table. If you know what I'm saying, I think, uh, the little, uh, the green stamp and the red stamp they put on your wrist in college. Yeah, that's before your time. Well, uh, we follow the loss here in Kentucky. Brad, we follow all the laws here. How, so, uh, just so you know that, how dare you? Yeah, we have the bottles with the three X's on the side of them. That's what we do in Kentucky. So the, the jugs, they're not bottles, they're jugs. You got to, you got to get the look right there. Yeah. Yeah. If you watch Beverly Hills, at least you know what I'm talking about. So yes, we are at a time out 1539, remaining in the first half, 10, seven, you caught a one and a half point favorite 143 and a half your total. You caught on the money line minus 120. Some value here on Illinois. Maybe if you

think they're going to win this game, if you look at this at plus one 10. And yes, let's look real quick at the future. Yukon now plus 450 to win this whole thing, along with Illinois. So even though Yukon is winning, they both have the same odds plus 450. Would you look into, I remember last week during the Arizona game with, uh, with Purdue and they were losing it half time. We said they will, we will never see Arizona four to one to win this championship again if they win this game. Then that was a good time to get value. I wish I had taken my own advice and then done that one. Is this something you're looking at? Maybe looking at futures during these games, especially once we get to a break in the action, especially halftime. Yeah. And again, this is something being Connecticut. This is not offered to me, but I love that books do it. It's, uh, it, it just offers you another way to get value. It offers another thing to talk about. So it's so much fun. And it's something, if I had access to, I would look at it more. And I think it was Tim Murray this morning on the, uh, the visa weekend morning line was saying

that somebody during Duke Yukon game took a shot on Yukon at 90 to one. I'm not sure which book or for how much money or what time or anything like that. But that's, I'm gonna talk about a ticket, you'd like to have 90 to one right now and you got to leave in the, in the final four games. So yes, absolutely. It's another form of live betting where you can just buy low. And if you got a hunch on a team where you think the numbers drifted too far, absolutely, uh, absolutely something that could be looked into. I'm not sure who I'd bet out of those though. I don't, like, I'm on Yukon here. So I don't, I don't know that either one of those jumps out to me. But, uh, certainly something to keep an eye on. Yeah, Yukon Illinois, both plus four 50. So you're basically saying who you think with this game for the most part, right? And Yukon hits the free throw coming out of the time out. So they are now up 11 seven as we are now, uh, under four and a half minutes into this first half here. Is there anything maybe well that you're looking at? Uh, as we look at maybe certain players here that you think maybe if I know you can't do it in Connecticut, but is there

anybody else other than the three pointers with ball and Mullins that you're looking at maybe to that some of our listeners can say, Hey, let's get on this guy maybe for a little prop going forward, especially hitting some jump shots, because I haven't seen anyone take one other than Mullins so far. No ball ball. I think is an interesting player just because he's had so much success in the past, but he's been in such a slump that maybe at some point there, the positive regression comes. I don't know how much of that stuff is offered live. I'm sure somewhere somebody offers it live with college, you know, these books are always a little bit hesitant to put stuff off, especially others. They'll put up some maybe sometimes a one way market, but I'm not sure about the two way markets, markets, circus, probably different. Circa has a lot of offerings and is really good about taking bets. Let me ask you, any of the books in front of you, anything you have access to, and this is something I thought about betting ultimately didn't turn them at most outstanding player. Is that available live anywhere you see? I know I'm putting on the spot here. No, at the moment, no, I know exactly what you're talking about because I kind of delve into that too, and time from time to time, but I currently right now, I do not see it offered live.

Maybe they do it half time, maybe they do it break in the action, but right now, I do not see it live in terms of most outstanding player for this final four. Yeah, I'm looking at all the big books from circuit of the squares, and yeah, there are no kind of right now at the moment, live lines. I would say there would be up, we'll check about, remind us again, at half time, and we'll look for a most outstanding player. Kind of look as we're looking at Yukon now, 13, 9 over Illinois, as we are now six minutes into this game, and the live betting line here is with this six point margin, or excuse me, four point margin, make that a seven point margin, as Yukon now, up 16 to 9, Yukon is now a two and a half, three and a half point favorite, excuse me, 144 to half your total. Is it already getting away from Illinois? We talked about not let it get away because we're not going to we're seeing you come now. I've been around too long. Don't you dare do that to me. I know you're on Illinois, and I'm on Yukon. You're going to start the reverse jinx nonsense. We're five minutes into the game. It's a seven point game,

a long way to go. I'm not playing your little game, Bradge. I'm going to point to the camera, like you do. You like that? How do you like it when I point the camera? No, anything, but that. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Anything, but that will there you go. 18 to 9, and Illinois said, that's enough. Give me a timeout. I've seen enough. Brad Underwood says goodbye. The girls from Yukon are all waiting to a lining up for Mullins after the game. It is all setting up for a Yukon big night here. It stores Connecticut. I'm sure after this show, Will will take Charlie the dog out all the town. I'm sure they'll be very popular there as well. So yeah, 18, 9, we're at a timeout for Illinois. They can't stay in it. We're at the break of the action. Yukon up three and a half on the live betting line. 144 and a half. Your total money line minus 195 for Yukon. That means plus 150 for Illinois. Real quick, Will, how would you bet this? You're coming in right now and fresh with nothing on this game. I'm not looking in middle yet. If I have Yukon, I'm okay with how the game

is going. And I don't know that's enough to buy back here on. I don't know. So I'd probably just stand pat for now. It'd be Yukon or nothing. Understood. Understood. But for me, it would be a spot where even if I wasn't on Illinois, this is a spot you're going to give me maybe a plus 150. I think I would I would go with Illinois if I didn't have anything kind of already pot committed on this one. But then again, I didn't reverse side you. So I get what I deserve. Speaking of getting what we deserve coming up after this, we'll be right back to the final four with between Illinois and Yukon. That's next here on V-Sid. These sports betting never. This is live that side on the V-Sid. These sports betting never worked. In Franklin, Kentucky at the midgaming hall right above the circus sports. I am Brad Taylor along with Will Hill. It is live that Saturday. We are taking you through the final

four game. Number one, Yukon and Illinois. Currently, we are over eight minutes into this first half. Yukon 18. Illinois 12. We are nearing the under 12 time out here. So far, Will Hill, your thoughts on this game. Yukon up by six. Current live betting line minus one and a half to Yukon 141 and a half your total. Yeah, Yukon's hunting the three ball. They've shot ten already here. We're just like eight minutes into the game. So they've gotten a lot of attempts. They've made three. Illinois hasn't made a three. So right now, that's the big difference in the game. As we get a rejection at the rim, it's going to be Illinois ball side out of bounds or under the basket. I should say under 12 time out. So we'll get a little break in the action. But that was the difference. If you look at the box score in the first game, Brad, back in November on Black Friday and that afternoon in Madison Square Garden, the stats and a lot of categories were even both teams were dead, even offensive rebounds, turnovers, even three point attempts. I think one team at 27 and Yukon at 28. The difference Yukon made 10 Illinois only made six. And for a game that ended with a 13 point

margin, Yukon with pretty much the same number of three point attempts won the three point scoring by 12 points. And that was the difference. And that's the difference so far. So Illinois did not shoot the three well against Iowa. They are not shooting it well here. It's got to make you maybe a little bit nervous as a Yukon fan. And all right, this is a pretty good offensive team. This is a really good offensive team. At some point here, the makes are coming. But so far now, at least in this game, it's been a cold shooting start for Illinois. And Yukon shooting. Okay. I mean, they've cooled off a little bit. They hit three pretty early, including two right off the bat. But since then, they've gotten a bunch of misses. But Yukon has to be happy with their start. If you're Illinois, it's not the end of the world. You're down six points. You got the ball. It's still early. So, you know, no blood really right now. I'm sure Yukon. Small favorite looking up the live line. But a good start here for Yukon. I think he's my takeaway. And they're offensive comfortable. Not only are they taking a lot of threes, Brad. A lot of these look pretty open. Yeah, you make a good point. Three point shooting so far. Yukon is three of 10, two of two for Mullins. In Illinois, oh, of five from three point line. And that's why basically you see the eight point

or the six point lead for Yukon. The fact that we were talking about this during the break, that Illinois came out in a zone defense. It looked like it gets Yukon allowing Yukon to shoot 10 three pointers in the first eight to half minutes of this game. Is that a surprise knowing especially with Mullins? This team was aligned to shoot a lot of threes. Yeah, I'm not enough of an Xs and O's guys to really know how much of a surprise that is. And maybe they'll mix up the defenses here. But I will say the big takeaway from rewatching that Yukon Illinois game back in November. It will know I really had trouble with the screens and off the ball. And they just got lost in Yukon from from what you hear from these Xs and O's people that you know, Patino's talked about it. They're so hard to beat in the tournament. It's not an accident. It's not just because Hurley's a great coach. Their offense is very intricate Yukon. It's very hard to prepare for. It's very hard to defend. So beating it the first time you see it is really, really difficult. So maybe this is an adjustment from the first match up where Yukon got good looks,

got some easy offense and maybe Illinois figures. All right. Instead of chasing these guys around screens, we'll just stay home here, play a zone. You know, that'll be the approach. Here we are. We're still waiting to get back to live action as we're looking at the Illinois crowd now as they're not waiting for bullets after the after the game like the the ladies from the Yukon land is. So here we go. It is 18 to 12 and it looks like Illinois will have the ball coming out of the time out. We are not privy to the interviews kind of listening to what Danny Hurley has to say. And I'm sure he won't sound like the women's coach at Yukon last night. I'll let will he'll talk about that during a half time of this show or something like that because I'm sure he has an opinion on what Gino had to say last night, but our guy Danny Hurley there. Do you think he's cursing anybody out here? Do you think maybe we should bet accordingly based on that big red face he had right there? It looked like he was mad, but then he smiled at the end. So are we okay with the Yukon coaches? Both Gino and Hurley going into this next play here. Yeah, Gino's another story

that's been an exhausting day on social media. Everyone just up in arms that he had the nerve to yell at Don Staley. So everyone very very upset by that. I hope people recover from that. And Gino didn't handle it well, but I think people need to calm down a little bit. Hurley's never happy. That's part of what makes him a good coach. He's never happy. He's never satisfied. He was happy when Mullins hit the shot to win, but he's always, you know, nitpicking and finding flaws with his team and wants them to play better and defend harder. He demands greatness. As Illinois misses yet another three here for, you know, from the field here, they have not made a three. They're over a five or six. So again, that's been the difference so far. Yukon hit a few threes and Illinois has missed all of those. There's here is Yukon shoots another three. And this one doesn't go down either. So it's interesting. The first three or four possessions really slow starting really low scoring. And then the offense picked up and we've hit a little bit of a low here since Yukon's missed their last, I want to say four or five threes and Illinois 0 for six from three. So I would imagine that total is ticked down, probably know where the even under where the the pregame number was.

You would be correct, sir. Yukon currently a one and a half point favorite one thirty eight to half is your total one thirty nine one thirty nine and a half is where it was before this game. And yes, you do see that money line now. Yukon minus one forty five. Illinois with the ball here, but you're right. Both these teams shooting the three very poorly right now. Oh of six for Illinois. Three of 11 for Yukon now as we sit here. So yeah, the shooting you would say 27% for Yukon. That's bad, but hey, Illinois hasn't hit one all night. Of course, we're only about nine minutes in. So 1812 Yukon over Illinois still as we're looking at that one. By the way, our producer John Lund assures us. There were no cursing or shots at Don Staley from early during that interview we just saw at the time out. So that's good to know that there was no Danny Hurley did not take up in Geno's kind of shadow there with that one. Good to know. And it'll affect our bed and going forward. I'm sure Illinois though. The fouls are mounting up though on Yukon. Another foul on Yukon there.

We do see six to three. If that matters, the fouls and Illinois jacks up a three and it's down. 1815 now. Yukon is up as we're just about midway through this first half. And we come down to the other side of the court. And yes, it looks like Yukon will shoot a three and they will knock down a three 21 15 back and forth now with soon as we start railing on both these teams for bad three points shooting. They hit two in a row, Will. Couldn't tell who hit that for Yukon looks like Ross hit it. And I think that's his second make of the day. Says he has two for three or six points. So yeah, the shooting again, hot and cold, but a couple of possessions down now where the offense starts to get a rhythm and then Illinois another score here to cut it to four. So I don't think Yukon is trail. They they led I think three nothing right off the bat. And it's been Yukon leading throughout here the first 10 minutes. And we'll see here. You know, if Yukon, I think your goal here is to get this up to you know, eight 10 point lead and feel comfortable as they

shoot another three. And this one is off the mark. So man, this this looks like Saturday night at the All Star game, where it's just a three point shootout because Yukon pretty much every time down feels like a good 60% of their attempts are from three. They've got 19 attempted field goals. And I think 12 or 13 of them for three. So I don't know if this is a game plan. I don't know if this is just a reaction to the defense Illinois throwing at them, but Yukon certainly getting up the volume of attempts here from beyond the arc. 19 total shots put up by Yukon 13 of them are three pointers. Wow. Is that something? I don't think that's something we thought before the game. Seven of Illinois's 15 shots are three pointers. If we had known that before the game, we probably should have gone over this total, you think? Yeah, it's a good point. It's it's tough to the thing that counteracts that is Illinois gets back to the line. They make the first of two free throws, 21 18 with one free throw coming. You're planning these big football stadiums. So yeah, you're shooting a bunch of threes. But if you're missing them, yeah, on one hand, the three point attempts are good for the over, but the three point misses are good for the under. And it does make

me think for the next game. If this is going to be how it is where teams struggle to shoot the three, to me, that is advantage Arizona. And obviously it would lend you towards an over towards an under if the three point shooting struggles. But if this is going to continue into the next game, Arizona might be the advantage here. If this is how difficult it's going to be to shoot from three. And we're only nine, 10 minutes into this game or so, but just something to keep in mind. Illinois fans on their feet now trying to urge on their team as they have now cut this game to you caught 21 Illinois 19 as we are now down to under nine minutes remaining in this first half. And we are seeing the live betting lines. You can't still a one and a half point favorite total up to 144 to half. As you can is found, it looks like they will be going to the line as their big man got fouled again on the inside. So yeah, we're seeing some scoring here this game. And the live betting line in terms of the total 143 to half. It opened one 139 before tip off is where

it closed. Excuse me. So yeah, we do see now that the live money lines are minus 115 on both sides. That might be a little telling what the sports book or telling us here will. As we've got a lead change for the first time in this game. Illinois is now 22 21 over you con six minutes 25 seconds left in this first half. Illinois two and a half point favorite on your live betting line. 138 and a half is your live total and on the money line Illinois minus 154 you con plus 120 that last three right before the last break here will put the Illinois in a position

where this line flipped in their favor. Your thoughts on this game right now as we sit here just a couple of six minutes before halftime. Yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna do what you did to me when it was 18 to 9 Yukon you said it was gonna be a runaway Yukon was gonna win so I'm just gonna do what you did and just congratulate you good calling Illinois it looks like Illinois is gonna pull away and win this game. Yukon had their chances early but it looks like Illinois will wait for the winner of Arizona and Michigan on Monday doesn't it? Stop using my own tricks against me will I've started to reset this very much I hope you know this and I'm gonna take it very personally it's I heard Michael Jordan saying the last dance a million times we are back it looks like the live action right underwood. I don't know if I like his hair more or Danny Hurley's hair more I don't know if I'd have that slick back look and I went out with Pat Riley back in the day I did see a your guy Mullins was at a commercial for Invesco right during this halftime and he just shoots a three and he missed it so yeah he's already taken advantage of the popularity that's how much

different this world is now that it used to be with Mullins going off so now we see Illinois with the ball and they are down excuse me they're up one point as oh they tried to bang the bag the ball out of bounds off Illinois and it backfired it went off Yukon. Wow it did you could call I thought live they might have called the foul for a push but yeah you're right I think it was redo got the rebound was falling out of bounds felt themselves falling out of bounds so threw it off the Illinois player but it went off the Illinois player but took a bounce where it a grazed read and then it goes back to Illinois and Illinois is going to look to extend the lead but Yukon grabs the rebound foul on Illinois going the other way here that is only five on them Yukon has seven so the next couple floor fouls that Yukon commits will put Illinois at the line for a one in one so Illinois will be shooting free throws the rest of the way on any foul even though it's not the double bonus yet and Illinois still has a couple fouls to play with they've only committed five so something to keep an eye on but Yukon in a lot of ways lucky they're only down one because they're

going on five minutes without a point here five minutes going out and you never want to see that graphic on CBS when you bet on that team or like it's Turner as the game so and so or X amount of time before between your last point and we're now over five minutes since Yukon is scored so if you can go five minutes and only be down one I guess that's a good thing but they're offense which was hot to start they were up 18 to 9 has really hit a a low here to uh to say the least so Yaka Vitch gets fouled going to the basket Illinois is up two is up one five oh five to go in this one so Yaka so Yaka Vitch headed to the line in the live betting line still Illinois at two and a half point favorite but like you said Will let's score the streak especially five minutes for Yukon it is really affected this total 133 and a half is now your total Illinois minus 140 on the money line as we see so Yaka Vitch going to the line and he misses the first one badly a reminder of his father which they show his father the 2001 Western conference finals

when he choked against the Lakers that's another story for another day that we'll talk about there again B.A. season and that brings us a smile to Will Hill's face and the second shot also I miss from still Yaka Vitch so Yukon will have the ball now down one we'll see what they do with it you're not in agreement that that Western conference in 2001 that finals was uh was it rigged or a choke job in anyway no it's Shaq and Kobe they had two of the best players in sport maybe the two best players in sport I know Duncan was around it was uh well officiated well played in the better team one as Yukon takes the lead oh we can talk about we can talk about that for a very long time Yukon just scores they are now ahead 23 22 as we're now under five minutes to go with this first half and uh so yeah we see back and forth down the last few minutes Yukon finally gets a bucket uh the first time in over five minutes for them so we'll see what Illinois does as we're now at 420 to go here the first half and they turn the ball over Yukon running the other way they get uh

looks like Mullins will hit a reverse layup and he's found there's an N1 Mullins really getting it done now boy he is feeling himself after what happened to him last week and uh so yeah Mullins gets an N1 Yukon now up three and Mullins will go to the line to finish off this uh this three point play and Yukon now a minus one and a half point favorite still 135 and a half year total would you like to be uh Braille and Mullins just for one night and stores Connecticut will and uh because Lord knows I think he's uh going to have some fun for the next few uh few months to say the least yeah must have been a good week Mullins off to a good start here eight points three of seven from the field two of four from three and he gets his ninth point here so a nice response for Yukon they led by nine hit a law Yuk Illinois took a lead Illinois had a couple chances there with the ball in the lead to go up by three or four points and maybe get a little margin between them and the Huskies and now it's a 5-0 run from Yukon so a nice response here

and a Illinois comes down and gets a bucket so about what you'd expect here in this first half I feel like we said this a lot doing these games the first half is flown by we're under four minutes left we're uh we're almost at the break here and it's about what you'd expect a pretty even game the line was you know one and a half two these teams look pretty dead even here is uh you know Yukon shot well in the beginning hit some lows but uh would expect this game to be kind of anyone's game here is read with a nice turnaround little baby hook to make it a four point game I'd expect it to be kind of anybody's game with four or five minutes to go I don't know that anybody's pulling away from anybody uh in this one Brad I don't think so either but if Yukon knew what they were up to I would go down to read down in those blocks every time he is looked yeah even the shots he's missed those were good looks from what I've seen so far so and he's a great post player getting the shot off down there so uh we're sitting here now as the ball goes out of bounds and it will be going to Yukon as we go to the media time out 304 remaining here in this first half

Yukon is up for 28 24 the live betting line reflects it Yukon now a two and a half point favorite in this one on the live lines 135 and a half year total Yukon minus 160 on the money line kind of going how you thought well because we talked about one team not getting too far ahead of the other team no matter who it is especially if you're Illinois here but it looks like we're going to have a close game going into the half here uh how you would play I know you would Todd wish Dev do really well when it comes to playing the ends of first half big getting to the second half what are some things you look for here as it is Yukon's ball coming out of this time out with 304 left yeah and wish Dev is great at it he really is and he's got his little uh discord page where he gives out his picks and I think he gave out Illinois money line a few minutes ago uh I got the little notification I mean I'm on Yukon I'm gonna stick with it I don't see any reason to jump off my it's weird my big takeaway from this game is I like Arizona a little bit more

than I did before the game and it's weird because those two teams aren't playing but if three point shooting is going to be hard for everybody and it looks in this big cavernous arena you're playing this big football stadium it's hard to shoot the three if that's the case Arizona might be a better bet than we think because if nobody can shoot the three you know what Arizona's fine with it Arizona doesn't shoot the three to begin with it's almost like a football game where the weather's bad and you can't throw the ball well the the team that runs the ball doesn't throw the ball to begin with is it is an advantage so maybe a little bit of a of hope here or maybe maybe a positive sign for Arizona the fact that the three pointers possibly will be will be hard to hit here considering the the atmosphere combined six of 27 so far your three pointers we see the total now and we see the total 157 and a half but I see a little bit of the the consensus lines a little bit of juice coming to this under now 157 half not a bad play to go under in this second game coming up

yeah I just worry about the pace though because both those teams like to run and even if you're shooting poorly if you're playing so fast you might be able to go over anyway but it's not a bad idea I mean I wouldn't go over I just I think the pace would be enough to to scare me away from from an under just because both teams very happy to run I think they're both in the top what 30 40 or so in pace they both they both like to get up and down and I just that that scares me off of it I totally agree and I'm one of those people the further you go in and tournament especially final game NCA tournament conference tournament I love to go under in these but when you see this when you've seen so far the three point shooting it makes you feel better about yourself but we always talk about it at the end of this show and down the stretch they come and we're down to the final stretch of college hoops and it's a great time to stay on top of every bet with V-Sid Pro you'll get daily best bets real time betting splits from draft kings in circa AI prop powered to powered prop tools I use every day for major league baseball now
