This is V-San. The sports betting network. This is live V-San. The sports betting network. Yeah baby, back. I did a live V-San today. He's been Steven's. I'm Dustin Sweetleson. Thanks for making us part of your day. However you may be tuning in. Series 6M, Channel 158. YouTube TV, the V-San watch app and radio affiliates in the United States of God bless America. Still to come a conversation with Greg Hoops, Peterson in 15 minutes. His thoughts on the final four will get the lowdown from G unit and it's his time to shine at the end of the college hoop season. Also, at 5.15pm eastern time former Ole Miss head coach, Kermit Davis will be on the program. Get the lowdown of a coach's perspective. How you navigate this time of year as you're in the final four playing in a football stadium and the pressure couldn't be bigger. But we do have some stuff to update you on and some baseball about to get started as well.

First, an update in the NBA. As San Antonio and the Nuggets, it's 54-44. Spurs with the lead. They're laying eight and a half total. 251 and a half. Miami on top of Washington in the NBA. 61-44 in the second quarter. The heater laying 23 and a half. The total is 247 and a hook. While we were away talking with Dan Bonner, not locked in on the baseball for a segment, we do have a few updates for you, including in the south side of Chicago, where Murakami hit a home run off of Brandon Little. Lefty on lefty. And I believe that is home run number four for the Japanese rookie play in the hot corner for the Chicago White Sox. They added another homer right after that. We are looking at a four-two lead for the White Sox as we're in the seventh inning right now. And Toronto just got a runner off. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to go, I want to go over seven and a half but it is since moved. And we came back from break.

I'm going over eight and a half. Both these teams played extra innings yesterday. They used a ton of arms. I think at six. And now with the Blue Jays having a runner on, we are very likely heading towards a nine run game. So give me the over. In Blue Jays and the White Sox. The other update we have for you is the Detroit Tigers can't stop scoring runs. They are going to have a really strong and rainy in Motown. Matt Verling with a two-run homer to make it 11-6 in the eighth inning. Detroit leads right now. You get 85-1 on the Cardinals. We're not quite at position play or pitching territory in that game but who knows we can get there as the Tigers are putting it on the St. Louis Cardinals. Anything jump out to you with the live action right now, Ben? Four zip was that score yesterday. The Tigers blanking the red bird so we are seeing a ton more offense today in the motor city than yesterday. One thing that jumps out just because it strikes me kind of funny. 11-6 the lead for the Tigers. That live run line right now is five and a half

the Tigers need just one more run to cover that based on our current landscape. It's plus 3-12. If you want to take St. Louis already covering as a five and a half run line dog it is minus 401 in terms of laying that juice. Love the look that you just had by the way on the south side for the White Sox and the Blue Jays over that live total of eight and a half. That was the pre-game number as well. We are back to that spot. Kansas City continues to put dots on the pond and have opportunities against Milwaukee. But they have been blank. They are also getting four and a half runs. And that's a plus money price. If you want to back it here with Kansas City it's the bottom of the six. They run it on first for the Royals and no out. So again, opportunities, runners on base. They have not been able to take advantage just yet. That would be a look that I have. Kansas City just putting enough where they can maybe scratch across a runner too. Not to come all the way back to us. But getting four and a half runs at this moment. Four KC at home in Coffin. Winds blowing out today around 15 miles per hour there

in Kansas City. Because of some of that weird Midwest weather this time of the year in mid April. I take a look early April. I take a look at the Royals getting four and a half runs on the run line. We have an update there in Chicago where we've got runners on first and third for the Blue Jays. And I believe one out and a pitching change is coming for the White Sox. You can go deeper into the Chicago bullpen. This plays into why we like that in game over of eight and a half. I'm just curious is it's still eight and a half. Still eight and a half. But it's now juiced at minus 155. We paid about minus 139. I believe earlier in this segment. So that is where we stand with that. Hopefully we can hit that over in game. That's what we're trying to do here. Also something I'm trying to do personally. Is bet more home run props. Why I like fun. I told you I'd never hit a home run prop. I bet three of them. Ellie Dale Cruz hit it five to one. Then yesterday I'm sitting around. It's my off day.

I'm like, you know what? It's a good time for a funsy Friday home run prop day. I bet four of them. Two of them got home at big prices. So now we come into this day. We're now I believe on the home run king. I believe I'm buried bonds at this point. So I'm going to be able to find some homers. We have four that we're going to bet in our current window. We're isolating to this window. That's what happened right now. So the first one I'm going to look at is with the Dodgers and the nationals. We're going mooky bets over on his home run at I believe it was five. It was over five to one I believe. Let me pull that up here real quickly. It is not professional of me. Let's see plus four 25 plus four 25. Jacob and on the bomb for Washington. I wanted to do something in this game. I'm also on his hits runs an RBI over for mooky bets two and a half. I think that L.A. is going to get to him. Bet says really good numbers against Jacob and five or 14 lifetime. Now no homers. But I do think that's something that could happen. If you wanted to go super short, I think Max Muncie makes sense.

But at plus 280. You just start doing the math on that. How many times you have to be right at a plus 280 price for it to be profitable in the end. And you're going to be wrong. A lot betting these home run props. I'm also on Christian Walker for Houston. On Luis Morales for the A's. That game just getting going now. As we also like the team total over for Houston in that game. Morales surrendered three home runs at Roger Center. And his first start of the year against the Blue Jays. I think it's more of the same. We're playing in Sacramento. So I just need Christian Walker to hit a really deep pop out. And it could potentially get over the fence. Also for home runs. We're attacking two players in the Red Sox Padres game which gets going in four minutes. We're going Willier Breo, a really good looking swing in the World Baseball Classic. He is at plus 490. And Jaron Durant at plus 525. Randy Vasquez is on the hill for San Diego. Vasquez is a guy who struggles on the road. A 502 road ERA. I like using those two lefty bats in the Boston lineup to fade him.

And more importantly, my real play on that game is I'm going to back Connolly early. We're going to go Boston minus 145 in that contest. You know, this guy was going to come loaded for a four game slate about to get underway with first pitches at 4 p.m. Eastern time. Dustin has started a thing for us here. We will be live together on live bet Saturdays throughout a good majority of afternoon Slates early in major league baseball. So I like what he is doing. I want to give out a home run prop as well. I had Jack Caglione at plus 690. The baby hit his first long ball with the winds blowing out in Coffman today. He has gotten on base. I'm going to give out a home run. I'm going to give out a home run. I'm going to give out a home run prop as well. I had Jack Caglione at plus 690. The baby hit his first long ball with the winds blowing out in Coffman today. He has gotten on base a few times. He's actually two of two with a walk. And now runners on the corners with one out in the home half of the sixth and Sterling Marta up at the dish against Aaron Ashby for this Royals side.

Trying to get some runs across. We mentioned if we're not going to get home run prop hits, maybe some live bet hits. Still four and a half that run line in favor of Milwaukee. It's now gone from plus money. If you want to take the Royals as the home dog, they will bet in the ninth at the very least. If they do not take the lead in the next couple of innings, it's now minus 107 in terms of that run line. Love the look by the way today in West Sacramento between the athletics and the Astros. I expect some runs. Ten the pregame total already up to 10 and a half. At the top of the lineup for the LA Dodgers in their first road game of the year. Maybe good getting away from shop as ravine show here. Tony had been struggling slightly Kyle Todd. Tuckers, same story, same four mooky bets. All three guys hitting a homer yesterday in the first road game of the year. Four Los Angeles in the nation's capital against the Nats. Plating, I believe 13 runs in total for a 13 six win for the Dodgers. I didn't go to med school, but I know the best remedy for any issues is to face Miles Michaelis. Okay. I think that's something that you got to file away this year. There's two pictures that to me. I'm looking to fade whether it's the team run.

I think that's something that you got to file away this year. There's two pictures. That to me. I think that's something that's going to fade whether it's the team runs against them. Maybe some player props, home run props. But it's Miles Michaelis for Washington who I don't think has anything left in the tank. And he's always been a contact guy. And that just doesn't play right now when you don't have plus stuff anymore. The other picture is Chris Paddock pitching for Miami. Not sure how long he's going to be on that roster. But when those guys are going, it's always worth considering the other team total. Now you have to figure out what that number is. We can't just blindly bet the team total against them. But if we're looking at four and a half, it's not heavily juicing. It's a good lineup. That's something to do. Update in Chicago. And Jordan Hicks has come on in relief for the White Sox. He has walked ahead. It's now bases loaded for two Chicago with the lead. Can we get a plus price still on the blue jays? I like a plus price on the blue jays. So we're on the over in game. We got eight and a half. It's now nine and a half.

I also like the plus price on Toronto. I don't know if it's going to be eight or not that long ago. It's slightly dropped to plus one 31. That doesn't track for me. They're bullpen's better. Their lineup is better. They should be able to navigate this better than the White Sox. It's off the board right now where I'm looking. But as soon as it's available, I want to bet it. Because I do think they're capable of coming back. Although, as I say that, it went off the board, which leads me to believe I'm about to watch a double play here. That's always the scary thing is when it's not available. It means something bad. Probably happened. By the way, quick update in what Sacramento. Astros already on the board. They lead one nothing. There are still two runners on at the top of the first with no out. So Houston making very quick work. I believe Carlos Corea now at the dish. How did they score that opening run of the game? An RBI single for Jose Altube. Astros already in front. One zip. Okay, and we now have a one run game. Should be more than one run. It's making out to end the inning. Okay, the ball was put in play.

I saw a run score. It was a sack fly. The throw home. Was cut off. And the runner trying to go second to third was thrown out at third. And I do believe he's out. That ends the inning. It's four three white socks in the seventh. We can now get plus two 24 with Toronto. I don't know if I want to do that. But I'll think about it during the break. I'll think about it. I'll think about it when they have a better bullpen. If you're serious about betting, you need edge boost. The Visa debit card and bank account built specifically for gamers. His podcast. Coast to Coast hoops wherever you get your podcast. And the MLB betting baseball show. Available everywhere at June 8th. underscore 81 on X and Greg joins us. On live bet Saturday. So talk to me Gregory. How do we feel about the Crown this West Virginia Crate match up? I couldn't do anything with the spread at one and a half. I didn't know that. I did go under the one thirty seven and a half. What did you do anything with this match up? Now I did take the over in this game. But that's when the total is one thirty thirty three and a half. I feel like one thirty seven and a half was that point of no return. So I got in on a little bit of better number. Hopefully we can get a one thirty six here for both of our six.

But I did dive in on Crate on the money life. I feel like with the Crown. This is much like what you're going to find in college football season. Where you want to look at the more motivated. And not to say the West Virginia has no motivation whatsoever. This is Russ Hodges first year. He's looking to build a good program out there in Morgantown. That said for Crate. This is the last time Greg McDermott is going to be coaching. After this tournament. He gives way to Ellen Husse who is the coach and waiting. I think that Crate is going to want to send this guy out or winner. And then if you're looking more at the analytics. What's Virginia to take game? They should 68.4% of the free theline. Outside the top. The top 50 team at the free theline. I do anticipate this being a tight game. So I decided with Crate in this spot on the money line to go along with that over. Greg, I love that take as well. Because when you get to the college basketball crown. It's motivation and it's momentum. And of course, see you trying to send out. It's all time winning his coach in Greg McDermott. After more than a decade and a half on a very high note in Las Vegas. Final four Saturday.

You could argue at the crown. Final four Saturday. Of course, in Indianapolis and the men's NCAA tournament. Greg, I saw this stat from Evan Abrams of Action Network who does great work. Providing trends and historical context of all that we see from the betting numbers. Both spreads, of course. Just one and a half in favor of Illinois in the opening matchup. And a point and a half in favor of Michigan. And our night cap inside Lucas oil stadium. We are talking about fewer than 40 cents combined in both games. The differences in the money line. We have seen now the tightest spreads for a final four double header. In the last four decades since 1981. So Greg, I ask you. Those are the betting numbers entering the game. Do you expect both to be decided by just a single possession? I think that we're going to get two very tight games here. I do think that. In this case, I landed on both underdogs in this game. On the money line, but I think that these are four really, really good teams.

I think that these are two very evenly matched games. Like you take a look at that opening game between Yukon and Illinois. It's sort of a pick your flavors sort of game. Because with Illinois, they do not allow you to get to the free thine. Number one in the country in terms of few is free throw attempts allowed on a perfusession basis. They've got all that size with the V-sitch brothers. David Mirkovic. But then you've got a guy in Terrace. Where you do quite literally out rebound and firm. And all by himself in that first game of the NCAA tournament. And a Yukon team that does a great job in terms of guarding the three-point line. Teams shoot 29.7% from three against them. And for me, that was the X-factor. Because it is an Illinois team that takes 49.8% of their shots from three-point range. Now playing in a football stadium. I think that that's going to hurt them a little bit. So landed on that Yukon money line. And then in Arizona versus Michigan. I think that that's going to hurt them a little bit. And then in Arizona versus Michigan. Want to talk about splitting Harris. Put them these teams in the top eight in terms of both points scored. And points allowed on a perfusession basis. Both teams are great on the glass.

Both teams have really good guard play. Both teams have a lot of veterans on the roster. Both coaches want to be a bus through win that first-satial championship. I just feel like Arizona's been a little bit more consistent this year. I feel like with Michigan maybe their 8 plus of 8 plus game might be a little bit better than Arizona. Because you have to really have those pitfalls this season. So landed on Arizona on the money line. But regardless, I think you're looking at one to two possession games of both of these. Greg Hoops, Peterson is our guest. Coast Coast Hoops, the name of his podcast. At unit underscore 81, you can find him over on X. I want to pull back the curtain a little bit here, Greg. Because you've been watching these teams. Long before a lot of people were paying attention to college basketball. You do college basketball. You're around on your podcast. You're right ups every day on Vecin.com. Everyone's locked in on football and everything else going on. You're still focusing on these college basketball teams. Can we go back in time and how your perspective or thoughts about these squads have changed or morphed throughout the season? Can you go one by one? Illinois, you can't.

Michigan and Arizona. Just throughout the season. How have your thoughts developed to get here? For Illinois, I feel like they've had the biggest change out of all four teams. Because Illinois has been traditionally an uptempo team under right under one. Typically, this is a team that you find in the top 75 in terms of total possessions per game. And for Illinois, the knock on them last few years has been not really playing any sort of defense whatsoever. They have been much better on the defensive side of things this season. They've been slower, but they've been much more efficient on offense. So they've had the biggest change. Like with Michigan, I came into the air thinking that they were going to be one and two with Purdue in the big 10. Lots of people have Purdue number one. And I personally did as well. Just because with Michigan, I had a few question marks with the turnovers in. That is still a little bit of a reason why I went with Arizona as well. Michigan still not a team that generates a lot of turnovers. They turned the ball over a little bit more than Arizona, but they really cleaned those up from the season ago. Because that's what really helped them back last year. Keep in mind that the 2025 NCAA tournament, they were up in the second half in that game against Auburn.

And then it just went straight down the toilet bowl from there. So them being able to clean up those turnovers was big. And then for Arizona, thought they were going to be good coming into the year. Night number one, they do what they do to Florida. It's like, hmm, maybe we should be taking note of this team. And they've been the one team all season long where I've never really felt down on them. There's really never been a point where it's like, wow, Arizona is struggling. Because their long two losses weren't over time. In Texas, when they had all American JT topping on the floor. And there are the loss was Kansas on big Monday. You quite literally checks notes have never ever lost on big Monday under bills. Which is still one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. So I've never really been bearish on them. And then for Yukon, you expected coming into the year that this would be a team that would be competing for an elite eight final four. Had that less than savory loss to craten in like, I think that was mid February, maybe. And for crane or for Yukon, I should say, it has been a team that maybe hasn't done one thing great all season. But they've been solid and very much every aspect. They are a team that maybe was overrated by like a point or two throughout the season.

Because keep in mind, they're against his front record. And a lot of places is 15 and 23 depending find your closing numbers. But it's not because they've been a bad team. It's because I think that people thought that they'd be blowing up teams a little bit more than what they did. And once the lines have gotten tighter and tighter, they've been covering more of these friends. Yukon had not been an underdog until the elite eight East Regional Final matchup against Duke. All of the 2025 26 season. Now at least a slight dog for a second consecutive game. Greg, of course, the Arizona Michigan matchup is a dream for any college basketball fan the entirety of this year. Both teams play with a rather fast tempo. The total is 157 and a half, but both are elite on the defensive end of the floor. What do you make of tonight's point total between the cats and the Wolverines? I did go under on this. I saw my total at a 154 and a half because you do have a pair of teams in the top lane in terms of points allowed on a preposition basis. You also, while you have two very efficient offenses, neither team is looking to go bombs away from three because they do have such good low post play with Michigan.

Their second in the country in terms of their two point shooting percentage for Arizona. When they need to make threes, honestly, they've been able to do so. Jean Bradley shoots just a hair below 40% for three. Kathy Delrose always been a little bit up and down. But when they needed him to be able to knock down some shots, he's been able to do so as well. But I just feel like the defense in this sort of an environment. And I do think that the tempo is going to slow down a little bit like you take a look at both of these teams are selling the top 75 in terms of total possessions per game. But they've been playing slower and slower here in the NCAA tournament. You just find that as the games increase and importance, typically the tempo slows down a little bit. So that did put me in on the under recognized that that could be a little bit of a role. If you get some late game foals, like if one team is down five points with a minute remaining, you know that the foals are going to be coming. But that said, I did side with the under with both of these great defenses. And just the importance of this game. He's Greg Hoops Peterson. Check out his podcast coast coast hoops wherever you get your podcasts and also the baseball betting show. Same deal wherever you get your podcasts. Greg, thank you for doing this all the time.

Can't wait to chat again with you in a couple days because we'll be recapping the national championship on Mondays cashing out when you join me. So very fired up for that. Thank you for all of your hard work all season long. Absolutely appreciate you guys and catch some baseball tickets as well. I was here and then the previous segment. Let's go. Yeah, we got a lot of baseball. We got a lot going on with Major League baseball that we are currently sweating out update in the crown. 11-3 West Virginia with lead on Creighton. As Creighton just did hit a three to make it 11-6 now. I do like the slower pace that we're seeing so far in that game. A lot of baseball to get you out on, but a lot of stuff that we have to decipher as far as the final four is concerned. Jay Billis was on Vison earlier this week. We got his thoughts on these matchups. But coming up next, you're going to hear from two coaches who understand the challenges of navigating playing in a football stadium. Wayne Tinkle, Morgan State, who took the beavers to an elite eight not that long ago. And Tom Creme, very familiar with this.

You'll get their thoughts on what it means to play at Lucas Oil next on Life at Saturday. This is Life at Saturday on Vison. These sports betting at work. You know, it's never a good sign when you went, you go to check it on a bet that looks like it's performing well. This is live that Saturday on V-San, these sports betting have worked. You know, it's never a good sign when you went, you go to check it on a bet that looks like it's performing well. I'm on Mookie Betts over his hits runs in RBI, pull up the Dodgers box score. It's the second inning. The Dodgers are doing a ton of work right now. They're up to nothing. They have runners on first and third with one out for Kyle Tucker. My assumption is Mookie Betts, who's after Tucker, is in a prime position to help us go over that total just in the second inning. Well, apparently Mookie Betts has pulled out of the game from Miguel Rojas in any of this game. So that's not looking great even though we were very much trending in the right direction.

Wait, he was pulled during the game, not pretty game. This was not a late scratch for Maggie. He already scored a run in this game. So I was thinking, I was thinking my over hits runs in RBI. I was like, you know, well, he's about to come up potentially with bases loaded. We could clear it in a second inning. No, unfortunately, Mookie Betts has been pulled. The Dodgers though are pummeling Washington early on. I imagine if they, if they get out to hugely, we could see a position player in this game. That's how ugly it could get. By the way, he's Ben Stevens. I'm Dustin Sweetleson. This is live bet Saturday on Veecin, these sports betting network. We also went in game on the Blue Jays and White Sox over eight and a half. The Blue Jays ran themselves out of an inning, but it's four three in the eighth. There's two out. They do have a run run first. So there is a chance we could still get a runner to hear maybe clear that before we get out of that game. That's it as far as the live action currently in front of me. And at halftime, we have San Antonio leading the Nuggets, 72 65 in the good NBA game in

this window. The other NBA game, I don't know if you checked it on the score there, Ben, 91 66. Miami leads Washington. There laying 28 and a half and your total is 261 and a half. I feel like I'm principal. You have to bet the under, but I'm not doing that. You can't force them. Don't make me do that. You're not my dad. You can't make me do something I don't want to do. I'm not going to touch that game with a 10 foot pole. As I'm looking at, oh, they're showing mooky bets when he scored his run earlier. I guess he came up limping and walking to the dugout and that's why he was taken out of this game. I guess I get it. It's Washington. You're already leading. What's it mean? So yeah, I guess that stinks though. That absolutely stinks. So all right. We'll keep you posted on all the action all day long as far as that is concerned. But the big story today, Ben, is the final four. We're essentially the pregame show. You and I were texting early in the week about it. We were so fired up to be getting everyone ready for the final four. And when you think about this game being played at Lucas Oil, I have a question.

Is the fact that it's at a football stadium where the sightlines can be issued baked into these numbers because the numbers are so different. The first game with Illinois and Yukon, the total is 139 and a half. Then the total with Michigan and Arizona is 157 and a half. So is that number baked in based on the consideration that we're playing in a football stadium or not? I'm not entirely sure, right? I think most numbers generated in college basketball from pace and what these teams do efficiently on either side of the floor. Now, I thought Greg brought up a really good point in our last segment that if you are buying into the idea, the sightlines of playing a basketball game in a football stadium are going to be drastically different. Who does it not favor? Or maybe who does it harm most? It could be a team like Illinois, 50.8% the three point rate for the Align Eye throughout this season. It was at 3.8, exactly a week ago against Iowa in Houston. In that game, the Align Eye were a trotches from deep.

They were three of 17 that is 17.6%. But I think what's even more astounding, Dustin, is that was only 173 point attempts for a team that takes nearly 51% on average of their fuelable attempts this year from beyond that three point arc. The 173 pointer shot by Illinois last week against the Hawkeyes was the second fewest in a game this season, only 16 against another tournament team at L.I.U. Fins Up, baby. Back in November was the only time Illinois took fewer threes than they did last week against Iowa. You often see Illinois take 25 to 28 threes pretty consistently. If they replicate that against a really good UConn defense that likes to run you off the three point line and those sightlines are an issue, then I think it harms a team like Illinois. I don't necessarily think Dustin overall. It really impacts our Michigan Arizona game. Again, the cats have the third fewest three point rate in the country, third lowest, however you categorize it, 26.4% of their attempts coming from beyond the three point arc, nearly

57% of their points produced on two point fuel goals. They like to get near the cup. They have great post players in Mo Kreeboss, in Co-IP, in Tobay, Awaka, and they are going to try to do that and still bring the fight to a Michigan team that's really good on the interior as well. So I'm not necessarily sure it's baked into the numbers. I'm not necessarily sure in terms of the gameplay stylistically. We will see an either of our two games on this Saturday night in Indy. It impacts the point and the total all that much. Freddie Freeman with an RBI double. It's five nothing Dodgers. That is his second hit of the day. He's up to four RBI's. Freddie Freeman, two doubles in two innings off of Jake Irvin. The Dodgers team total was six and a half and I looked at it and I went, God, that's really high to do this early in the year for an early game. I didn't touch it. It's going to get home. They just made the third out of the second inning, but they go into the bottom half of that inning up five to nothing in Washington.

On your points about the stadium and it playing a role, I think you're correct. That's why the total in Arizona and Michigan is so much higher is because of the two point rate. Both teams elite shooting it. That team's also elite defending it, though, which is super unique on top of that. Let's hear from some coaches. We've had to navigate these waters in the past. First Wayne Tinkle. I had him on my show earlier this week on Caching Out, former Oregon state beavers head coach who took them to the elite eight in 2021. People forget about that run with a very random roster that was not all that special. I asked him, is this a thing dealing with the football stadium? A couple different approaches. A lot of guys might get a lot of shots up now. Your time's limited in those situations, but it's like when you play at altitude, if you make it a thing, then it might become a thing. If you just kind of say the whole Hoosiers deal, the Hoops still can't feed off the floor. Go out there, get comfortable and be confident and make shots. It'll be interesting. If you watched any of the news from last weekend, the Women's Suite 16 in elite eight coach

Giamma, Yukon mentioned the poor shooting across the board, having to do something maybe with the space or the brand new baskets that are maybe a little bit less forgiving when they're not broken in as much. It'll be interesting to see, but you have seen that in the past, great shooting teams, whether it's pressure, whether it's the enormous background in the football stadiums, but I know one thing. They'll get them settled in at some point, and I'm sure those shooters, most of them most of all of these teams, even though Arizona doesn't take many, they're all pretty much above 35% as a team, which is pretty good. Great stuff from Wayne Tinkle there, and I thought it was interesting. He noted that Gino Ariama had a problem with the balls, with the backboards, with the rims, and with handshakes as well. So a lot of issues for Gino Ariama these days, the head coach of Yukon, women Huskies. How about Tom Green? He's had to do this before former Georgia, Indiana, Marquette head coach in college basketball. He went on Veecin by the books earlier this week, 7am Eastern time on Veecin, and talked

about having you adjust for playing in a football stadium. It's really good like today at the final four, they will get a full practice that's private. So they'll get a chance to be in there, and obviously there's not, that's not full of people. But they get a chance to deal with the depth perception. They get a deal. I would not practice in there unless I knew I was absolutely going to get the same lighting that you would get on Saturday night and on Monday and there because you want that. That's very, very helpful. And then tomorrow on Friday, you practice in a public viewing where it's open to the public and everybody can come in there. Now, you won't have a full house, but you'll have a much better feel. So once you get in there on Friday, you want to do a lot of shooting, going up and down the court, you don't want to do a lot of stopping, right? You want to let your guys get really used to it, shoot the free throws. And then if you have things that you really want to practice, you do that in another jammer, you do that in the ballroom where you're walking through. And then Saturday, you'll get another chance to be in there before the games.

So you're getting three opportunities to be in there. Now does that change things? No, but it helps build confidence. That was Tom Kreen, ESPN College basketball analyst, former head coach at a bunch of big programs. That was a lot. That was a lot to have to consider if you're a head coach this weekend of one, I don't want to shoot unless the lighting's right. And I'm not sure if you saw it making the rounds yesterday, but Michigan not missing a three for a long stretch of their practice window. I did. I wonder if the lighting aspect that Tom Kreen brought up there, now you have an overconfident Michigan team that thinks they can't miss. And the lighting could be different when they play this game later today. Just something to factor in here. I think with Illinois and Yukon, there's so much size on the floor Ben. And despite Illinois shooting the 15th most threes in the country, I think that they're able to play a different style of fight if they have to against the Huskies. Yeah, I think they absolutely can. And listen, Yukon does not make it easy to get those clean and efficient looks from

three. 30.7% is what teams are shooting against Connecticut when they actually always from deep this year, but only 36% opponent three point rate against Dan Hurley and his Huskies. What does that simply mean? They run you off the three point line and again, make it tremendously difficult to get off those good clean looks. Are you looking for an edge in baseball betting? Sirius XM, channel 158, YouTube TV, the Veecent Watch app and radio affiliates everywhere. Ooh, we got to run down in the south side of Chicago, and they threw it away, they threw it away, we're going to get a run, we're going to get a run, that's eight, can we make it nine? We just went over the in game number, let's go. I don't care about the run down ending, but God, that was sloppy baseball by Toronto. What happened there? So, ground ball to the shortstop, I believe we're second baseman, somewhere up the middle. He tries to make a throw cross body to first, and he can't make the throw, but he fakes it, and the runner on third got caught leaning, going towards home, so they got him into a pickle. In the run down, I believe it was the catcher threw it in the left field, which resulted in one run, the second runner had a head start, rounded third, he scored, and then Okunya, who was trying to go from second to third, got caught in between the bases, and got thrown

out to end it, but we don't care. We cast our in game over eight and a half, because of that situation, so we go to the bottom half of the eighth inning with the White Sox leading, or the top of the ninth inning, I should say, the White Sox leading six to three, and we got lucky that we never took that plus price with Toronto when they had bases loaded a few innings ago, as they're now 30 to one on the money line pen. Yeah, and that would make sense for disgusting defensive baseball out of the jays, and thus, the White Sox take advantage. Good look by you, getting back to what that pregame total of eight and a half was to find some value as the scoring started to pick up, as Chicago now takes that six, three lead into the final frame. Dustin, another game that we discussed with an AL central team at home today. The Royals were losing five zip early against the Brewers, but they kept having opportunities. Gunners on base, Ducks on the pond, as I like to say, just unable to scratch across a run. They finally were able to in the home half of the seventh.

They played to KC still two of 12 with runs in scoring position as a team today, but the Royals now trail five, too. We mentioned what that run line was plus four and a half for KC at the ditch in the home half of the sixth trailing by five with plus money. That run line has been updated to two and a half, still a ton of plus money, plus 297. If you think the Royals can lose this game by two runs or fewer, but some good looks in terms of just those live wagering opportunities in Major League Baseball, that will be along for the ride a good majority of this season. We also have a really good NBA game in this window and it's been pretty solid. Even though San Antonio jumped out to a double digit lead at one point, Denver's caught back. It's a 77, 76 game, thanks to a little bunny by Nicola Yochich. It's a 1-point game, 850 to go in the third quarter, getting the latest in game number for you here. It is one and a half back to where we started, San Antonio Langan, total 257 and a hook. We have two player props here, Wembenyama, over 12 and a half boards.

He has 11 with plenty of time left to play in the third. We should be OK there. And then it's the Fond Castle, over 30 and a half PRA. He's at 13, 3 and 1, so 16, 17. I don't love where we're at with that game. With that bet, I think we're going to end up splitting there, but who knows, some crazy stuff can happen, especially when you get some overtime. Overtime is your friend, if you're betting Overs, as far as player props are concerned. In the crown, 420 to go in the first half, and West Virginia leads Crate in 34 to 28. Thought West Virginia was the side, but I didn't want to bet against Greg McDermott and have his career end here in Las Vegas this way. Let me get him on the under and let me get an in-game number there because this is a game that for some reason is not available. It's various sports books and I don't know why. Yeah. I'm not entirely sure. You feel like the crown would be kind of fun. I just refreshed my DraftKings page and now it has popped up. I've seen a live total at 153.5.

We saw a ton of late steam. Greg Peterson mentioned, he bet over 133.5 either yesterday afternoon or early on this Saturday morning. When we started our show, it was 136.5. We talked about the very slow pace for the mountain years. Fourth slow is team in college, basketball, Crate, not nearly as efficient offensively as they had been in the previous 15 years, basically, under Greg McDermott. That number closed at 137 in the hook and we're up by 15 points here in the first 17 minutes of this game, 3832, over 152.5 or at least that total at 150. Now three and a half as West Virginia gets another bucket, interesting to see them out in years with 40 points. They could approach the half set trademark by the time we get to the break. Couple notes. My under is dead, dead as a door nail on this game, under 136.5. Russ Hodge, he might be a coach, like he might put together a very scary team in West Virginia because I like to see momentum. This team was not good to start the year and as the season went on, you could see them

buy in and just be more competitive, couple big wins to finish the year. I really like what Russ Hodge is building with the mountain years. Listen, it's a really weird situation the last few years in Morgantown, a very proud basketball program, of course, with the dismissal of Bob Huggins to try to replace that with a bandaid last year. You poach Russ Hodge over from North Texas where he had a ton of success known for his very disciplined and offensive style, a lot like what Huggy Ball used to be. That's Virginia seemingly in a good spot and that's what this is, it's what the NIT is. It is what the crown is. Any of our postseason tournaments, not namely NCAA tournament, is about building momentum and having just a little bit of motivation and during a new year in college hoops and of course your off season and I will say it until I am blue in the face. We have seen every winner of the college basketball crown start the following college basketball season perfect at 20 and oh and until that changes, that will be the story and that will be the context of the crown.

Now we do have the final four tonight, that takes center stage here. I think it's weird that the crown plays, these games the same day as the final four but I give them credit for having that kind of guts man, I give them a lot of credit and as far as Illinois and UConn's concerned, the number is fascinating because I believe it is up to two. Let me just pull this up here. I believe I just saw a two out there, two at circa, two at Superbook, two at Caesars. So we have gone from one and a half back up to two with Illinois favorite. Why does that matter? Well these two teams met on November 28th. UConn was a four and a half point favorite. UConn didn't just cover, they won by 13. Now we have got Illinois late in the year laying two. These two teams vary different from that time of the year. Jay Billis reflected on that when he joined follow the money on Vecin earlier this week. No, I don't think it means anything to them either. I'll certainly watch the tape and see if they can glean anything from it. But the team for so different back then, both of them, especially Illinois, they're completely different than they were back then because Illinois has got a lot of, you know, they're

basically a new team from last year. So they were just getting to know each other and, you know, Keaton Wogler, early scored three points and is a different, you know, different team. So, you know, there may be some familiar feeling coming from the game. I tend to think that the team that loses that game, a game like that, you know, when the two teams have played before, tends to have a little bit of edge in preparation. I don't think Gism and Edge of the game, but, you know, there's a lot on the line here. So I don't think there's going to be a lot of backward looking. There's too much in front of you to be, you know, motivated by and inspired by. And Ben in that game, Keaton Wogler was not Keaton Wogler. He was not that guy. He was not a lottery pick. He was not the go-to guy that ran the offense. Just finished with three points and 14 minutes of action. How big of an impact do you think he could have on this game? Because on the other side, Yukon's got a lot of veterans in that back court. Yeah, they certainly do, and they've got some really good on-ball defenders.

Dan Bonner, who joined us in the opening hour, mentioned Silas Demory, who's been a little bit banged up. Has not been fully 100% probably their best on-ball defender in the back court for Connecticut. But I think Solo Ball can get the job done as well. Keaton Wogler scoring 25 in that South Regional Final in the Elite Eight against Iowa. The first Big Ten freshman ever to score at least 25 points in an Elite Eight game. But I think what Jay Billis hit on right there is incredibly important for how we look at that game on Black Friday late in November inside Madison Square Garden Minds, you between Yukon and Illinois. The Align Eye scored just 61 points. That's a season low for Illinois. It's one of two games this year. The Align Eye have scored fewer than 70. The other one was in the sweet 16, and they scored 65, and that's all they needed to beat Houston. But even more damning, perhaps, than just 61 total points. Illinois, who is the most efficient offense that we have seen in the history of Kenpom, that's the last 30 years in college basketball, average is 0.92 points per possession. This is a team that often is putting up 1.3 plus points per possession.

But to be off that by nearly half a point is a really difficult thing for the Align Eye. But that's where they have become so much better and so much more fluid on the offensive end. So I don't take a lot of stock into that matchup this year. But these are two teams that at least know each other on paper and some of those similarities. They also played each other in the Elite Eight back in 2024 when the game was tied at 23 all with about 90 seconds left in the first half. And then Yukon went on a 30 to 0 run to pull away to advance to the final four, and of course, when they're second consecutive national championship. Awesome. That is awesome. We got to do a little bit more on the other game. I feel like we've been to one side with Illinois Yukon now. It is the early game. And we'll talk about Michigan and Arizona coming up because the best player remaining in the tournament plays for one of those teams. We'll talk about that in a second.
