Let's talk about Trump pushing Iran to get a nuke....

0:00Well, howdy there, Internet people. It's Bell again. So today, we're going to talk about Trump pushing Iran to get a nuke. Before we start, I want to remind everybody that Trump's own intelligence chief said the US intelligence community, quote, continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon, and Supreme Leader Kamani has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003. US intelligence said that Trump's basis for his small potatoes with Iran was completely false. They're not building one, and they haven't had an active nuke program in more than 20 years. That was what US intelligence said. When Kim fronted with this months ago, Trump said, quote, I don't care what she said. He pursued his elective unnecessary war anyway, and in the process, raised your gas prices, lost US bases, burned through ordinance, weakened US deterrent capabilities, destroyed the perception of US offensive capabilities.

1:11And that doesn't even count the human cost. If his goal is making sure Iran doesn't get a nuke, he's failing at that too. The assessments say that Iran is more likely to pursue a nuke today than they were before Trump started the war. But now, Trump has decided to make sure Iran and the rest of the world knows that getting a nuke turns him into a spineless sick of fant. That's not hyperbole. Trump said, quote, If they had a nuclear weapon, I'd be calling the Supreme Leader, and I'd be saying, Mr. Supreme Leader, how are you, sir? Is there anything we can do for you? As opposed to bombing the crap out of him. He said that in public for the world to see. He told the world to pursue a nuke because it will hobble him. And since Trump is easily the most reckless president we've had in quite some time, the logic would say it would deter other US presidents as well.

2:13When you combine that with Trump, completely dropping to his knees and surrendering to North Korean advance over the training exercises, while selling out long time allies to a piece of guy who has a nuke. The idea that he was joking falls faster than Trump's polling numbers. Trump told the world that Iran's proxy deterrent wasn't enough. Their ballistic missile deterrent wasn't enough. Their drone deterrent wasn't enough. Their ability to disrupt the global economy wasn't enough. But a nuke would have been. Adversarial nations all over the world that don't have the giant list of deterrents that Iran has. We're told by the sitting US president that a nuclear weapon is the only thing that will keep the US at bay. Trump did more to encourage the spread of nuclear weapons than any other person in recent history with that single statement.

3:14Maybe it wasn't a good idea to elect a guy with no strategic vision, no desire to listen to experts, and who really likes to talk too much as president. Make no mistake. In 10 to 20 years, you'll have documents leak that show that a regional power decided to pursue a nuke because of Trump's statements and move against Iran. Trump went against the assessment of US intelligence and started a war over his vibe-based belief that Iran was building a nuke. He repeated it so much that it doesn't even get questioned anymore. He never provided any evidence that they were pursuing one. And now it sure looks like he's going to be the reason nuclear weapons spread. Truly a golden age. Anyway, it's just a thought.
