This would create a five week summer holiday overall and add a two week autumn break, starting in autumn of 2027. The July Fortnite tradition dates back to 1965, when factories shut down early in July to dodge peak travel crowds. Now officials aim to balance school terms more evenly across the year with three possible calendar options through summer of 2032. Many parents worry that changes will high holiday costs and disrupt family trips. Folks heading abroad, or those with special needs kids, say the current setup saves hundreds of pounds and avoids busy periods.
