Lestershire County Council has set a bi-election for Thursday, April 16th, to replace former reform counselor Andrew Thorpe, who resigned last month. The vote covers the Narborough and Wettstone Division, including all of Narborough and Little Thorpe, plus parts of Wettstone. More than 10,000 residents are eligible to take part, and officials are stressing how crucial it is to have a say in local decisions. According to the council's head of Democratic Services, every day people rely on over 400 county services, so they should not skip this. Chance.
