But why let eczema take over when you can talk to your doctor about ebglyss? Ebglyss, lubricism ablbkz, a 250 milligram per 2 milliliter injection, is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older, who weigh at least 88 pounds or 40 kilograms with moderate to severe eczema. Also called a topic dermatitis that is not well controlled with prescription therapies used on the skin or topicals or who cannot use topical therapies.
Ebglyss can be used with or without topical corticosteroids. Don't use if you are allergic to ebglyss. Allergic reactions can occur that can be severe. Eye problems can occur. Tell your doctor if you have newer worsening eye problems. You should not receive a live vaccine when treated with ebglyss. Before starting ebglyss, tell your doctor if you have a parasitic infection. Pay partnership with Lily. Respect your time. Ask your doctor about ebglyss and visit ebglyss.com or call 1-800-LilyRX or 1-800-545-5979. The sun is coming up. The coffee is born strong. Talking tigers all morning long. Okay, good morning. Y'all. Another day. Brought some more result to what said what happened with all the court stuff, no punishment for Lane Kiffin or LSU. LSU wasn't getting expelled from the conference and Lane Kiffin wasn't getting punished. A big part of that is you have to consider precedent set. What in the world would you possibly be punishing him for? For not rostering players, for making a comment on a halftime interview, one of you appropriately pointed out, remember at SEC Media Days where Josh Hyple talked about throwing golf balls
and muster and catch up bottles? Like we're going to start spending coaches for comments and make how about inciting violence against other schools. We're going to suspend Josh Hyple for that. No, we're going to have level heads and realize that's stupid and we're not going to suspend people for that. So let's not do that. So as far as the whole legal situation, there's really two things to monitor now moving forward. One is the federal lawsuit taking place in Birmingham because I mean, LSU didn't sue anybody, but the SEC sure sued LSU Wade Roos and Lane Kiffin, Virgil is buried. So you know that the president's met yesterday via teleconference. Wade Roos is only on the teleconference for a few seconds. He just hopped on his I understand it to say saying hello, look forward to continuing the conversation. I'm just spending litigation so I can't talk to y'all. I mean, it's true. I mean, this conference is suing him. He can't sit there and be in a meeting with them while they're suing him. So the SEC needs that to go away quietly.
That's something that LSU, the contingent can do for the SEC, is allow them to sort of bow out of that lawsuit quietly. And hopefully that does happen. The other part of it is the civil suit for the players, which is absolutely coming. If you didn't hear, this was Drew Rosenhal's, Declan writes agent, kind of talking about what's next for Declan. Right, listen to the end of this. I've reached out to the NFL and I've asked them if they could take a look at this. My dealings with the NFL, they've always been incredibly fair and just. Let's keep in mind that Declan never played in a game for LSU. He was never on the roster, nor did he ever sign a contract. So I'm hoping that they will, the NFL will let him at least join a practice squad. Otherwise he's stuck. No college will sign him. The NFL right now is not made a decision. So what does he do?
He left the Browns. I mean, at a minimum, he would have been, I think, on their practice squad. And I can't fault the young man because he was just following advice from the courts and his rights. I do think that his lawyers are looking at legal action potentially against the SEC. Huh, who could have predicted that? All right, let's say some good mornings here. Hey, Jacob, good morning. One more day till game day. Amen for that. We do get to watch LSU and Lane Kiffin play game tomorrow against Louisiana Tech. Excited for that one. We will be in that number. So we'll be there. This is the game where Erica won the auction item at the St. Jude auction. So we're going to the game with pregame field passes and all that sort of stuff. So Erica will get to go on the field pregame for the first time ever tomorrow. So we'll do that looking forward to being out there tomorrow. Hey, Audrey, good morning. Michael and Georgia player interviews. When can we expect here from Sam Levin?
Yeah, you know what? I think we're supposed to have Sam last week and it got shifted. So I don't know when they moved it to but soon, I'm sure. Hey, Kelly, good morning. Thomas, good morning. I mean, so and honestly, like I requested something like next week playing Ole Miss. I requested Prince William on me, Ellen, daughter, or when he walked in. Like the old, I loved to talk to the Ole Miss guys next week before the Ole Miss games. So naturally, you know, that kind of fits. Hey, Craig. Hey, Michael, good morning. I'm starting it about to team up, hit him straight, bro. T and high, let it fly. And I don't know about Bruce. We should get some moot up shirts like boot up but moot up. I love that. That's so good. Mike, you know, that no sanctions are fines. Weird, right? Crazy. How? Lots of people all around the country were screaming about and debating, would he get fine?
He missed the Ole Miss games, suspensions, blah, blah, blah. Hey, John, good morning. What part are you going to bust out of fellow attributes Ole Miss? Still waiting for the whiskey reviews? You've been a busy dude. Yeah, I've been a busy dude, man. I don't know. I don't really ever plan that sort of thing, right? It's whatever I'm in the mood for. So. Hey, Jesse, good morning. I'm ready for the Saints, too, man. No cam Jordan on Sunday. Who is the third game of his career? Mr. Game in 21 due to COVID. Mr. Game due to that facial fracture. And now this would be the third time in his career. He misses the game only a second due to injury. So a little bummed for that, but actually I'm excited to see the defensive front, what it looks like without him, not because I don't want cam there, just because remember when they started building that was before they, that defensive front was before they resigned
cam, when they went and got Tyree Wilson and Anfone Jennings and when they drafted Christian Miller, like all that was done with the idea that cam wasn't resigned. And so they were moving all without him, that cam lay in the process, signed as one year deal. So it's sort of a land yet, but like this is what it was supposed to look like without him. So let's see how it looks. Steven, do you think thank you will be the game next weekend in Oxford? I don't know. I haven't looked at the schedule for next weekend, but with game day there, I would think probably so. Hey, Bill, let's have a great football weekend. Bradley, good morning. Crazy cage, you will Terry O'Bio and AFR today. Yep. Hey, Matt, good morning. Looks like weather will be okay for tomorrow. I'll be out there. Let's go. You haven't looked at the weather yet. Hey, go, Rilla. What's the explanation for all of you ultimately did not roster the players? I mean, I think it's pretty obvious whether they'd roster the players. They decided to obey the SEC's new rule and be a good member of the conference, but
the whole point was all along. They want like LSU never said definitively, we're rostering the players. They know when it LSU ever defend the list. Did they want to? Absolutely. Of course, they were to the commitments and they went to, you know, but their whole thing all along was let's see with the course decide because that's the president that's been set all along. Hey, Dale, bottle of XRP smart man. See, XRP has the field logo at Florida. Here on the XRP is what jerseys are they on? Hang on. Kansas, Kansas. Yeah. Kansas jerseys and on the field at Florida. Steven, I'd like to listen to Lane and Bostill still rings. Bragg, good morning. When you turn down fine bomb, I think about you on the show.
It seems personally not personal at all. I like Paul fine bomb a lot. Paul's been very nice to me over the years. We've had a good, I guess professional relationship. Of course, I'll go on a show. I want to show it in media days. This just happens to be a situation where he was really, really wrong and to go on a big platform like get up and stoke the fire and talk about expulsion and suspensions and all. That wasn't even on my radar until a lot of you started asking it. That's why a lot of you started asking. It was just very wrong. I answered the question because a lot of you kept asking, well, the reason you kept asking is because he was one talking about it. So I talked about it. It's not personal at all. I like Paul. I laugh when people call him a bammer and all that stuff. Paul's from New York and went to school at Tennessee. Just because he worked in Birmingham, it was a bammer. Chuck, what up, man?
The SCC's vote was not good to go. Now I could get more than your last couple of postings on AFR Morning Scotin, Lockdown or Total Fire. Congratulations. I keep being us the best of form college fans. Thank you, man. Appreciate you all following along. Adam, good morning. Brank, good morning. How do you think Tigers handle the most hostile environment next weekend? It's not the most hostile environment. I mean, Vaught Hemingway is, I think after they expanded it, went to 60,000, right? I think it's not the most hostile environment. It's not the most hostile environment. It's, I understand what you mean, like they're going to be angry people, but whatever. Cody, good morning. Thanks for your hard work the past few weeks. You're locked on last night, shared your frustration with the whole situation.
I'm annoyed, definitely annoyed. It gets annoying having to repeat yourself a thousand times every day, over two weeks. I just think there's a lot of people that did a really bad job throughout this entire process. But who is right? All along. I mean, go back and look at the whole thing. So what it is. Yes. Ben, Beni, more than a map, new listener to love show. Thank you so much. Appreciate that. It's awesome. Welcome aboard. We're here every day. Captain Boudreau, remember 9-11, you had 25 years ago, man. 25 years. It's wild to think. You know, it's, you know, one of, if not the most transformative days in the history of
our nation. Obviously, you have the revolution. You go to Civil War. We can talk about D-Day. I mean, and clearly 9-11, which changed the world over the last 25 years. Okay. Yeah, but certainly remembering those that lost their lives that day and the many brave men and women that have lost their lives since defending our freedoms. So it is wild to think it's been 25 years and how many people don't remember what life was like before 9-11. Yeah, I was in college at LSU. Watch the towers fall in the union on the TV's in the union.
Crazy day. Steve, good morning, Matt. Have you ever been in New Orleans? Good main car tomorrow. Yeah, they've been, they were just here last year for Dustin Porier's retirement valve. But they're in New Orleans twice, I think twice before. I've been all of them. I wanted the first one they ever did was actually at the convention center. And then they did one at New Orleans Arena. And then obviously the one last year was me being center now. But yes, the three times. Go Rilla. Get the cat. Hey, it's Kelly Rowland. You may not know this, but I have Exema. So I get how it can steal your time. But why let Exema take over when you can talk to your doctor about Epglyss? The SEC is proceeding primarily to establish and protect broader governance authority. Or will this go nowhere? I mean, that's of course what they were trying to do was prove the self-governance model. I mean, we've been talking about this for a while now. But yes, the whole premise is to boil it down. The idea is that if the NCAA can't enforce its rules, the conferences are saying fine, we'll do it ourselves. So this was a test of that. The SEC passed a rule and then they wanted to be able to enforce it and have their members
abide by it, respected. The problem is in passing the rule hastily, they effectively move the goalpost. I mean, imagine if like in the middle of a baseball game, all of a sudden, like you're in the middle of an inning and you get a third, you get two outs and then all of a sudden someone comes in and changes the rules. As you know what now for this game, we're going to have four outs. That's kind of what you're like, what? That's what happened here with that situation. A lot of all Miss people are on my Twitter now mentioned in my Brennan Soros B comments. It's not just Brennan Soros B. I've said this for years. That the presidents need to, if you want to stop all the lawlessness, the presidents could take ownership of this. They could step in and be leaders and enforce an abide by rules and say, well, what about this? Well, this is a situation where they created a rule because the situation that arose
with the five for five in the class of 22 is the NCA granted these players eligibility. That's the problem. Y'all, if y'all followed me for any length of time, like I am adamantly opposed to players going to court to get eligibility in every instance. You want to stop all this? Go like abide by the NCA rules. This is a different situation, not because it involves LSU because RJ Lewis involves LSU, but I don't think RJ Lewis should be eligible. I think it's embarrassing that LSU is trying to play RJ Lewis. It's the same situation as Charles Beddeaco. I'm not going to sit here and tell you it's not okay for Beddeaco, but it's okay for RJ Lewis. Hell, no, it's not okay. But the situation with the 2022 kids is the NCA granted them eligibility. They said, yes. You guess what? We changed the rule. You have a year of eligibility. They're like, great. We'll come back. Well, you can't come back as you left. They're like, well, we only left because you're told us we didn't have eligibility. And now you tell us we do. So that's why they went to court. The NCA screwed it up. They should have done one of two things, either blanket waiver for the entire class of 2022 or started subsequent to wear to next year.
So none of the 22 guys have or ladies have any eligibility. That's the problem they made. They didn't have the foresight to realize that by passing the rule the way they did was clearly going to spark litigation and it did. Go Jimbo. Good morning. Hey, Devon, you think Oklahoma beats up on Michigan? I do. I mean, I don't know how good Oklahoma's offense will be in that game, but I certainly think Oklahoma's defense will just suffocate Michigan in that football game, because I think Oklahoma might have the best defense of the country. Bradley else is going to take care of tech quicker than a cold bull gumbo. I think it would take a long time to take care of a cold bull gumbo. That's not very good. Jay Bags, what's up, man? Good morning, but to fly to Nola, very nice, very nice. SPC, good morning, LSU Express, love the morning scone jingle. Ed, you need to go and find bomb to set the hip-critch tray. I'll always go on Paul show and I'll be respectful. I like, like, I like Paul Findbaum. I like Paul Findbaum a lot. Personally, he's been very nice to me over the years.
I've been on his show. He's been on my show. I see him at media days, have for 15 years. I like him a lot. I like him a lot. I think he generally does a good job. This is a time though where I think he missed. And he's not the only one a lot of people did clearly in a big way. Okay. Parish construction and roofing. Hey Brad, when you did play by play for Catholic, who do you think was better high school player Clyder, guys? Gary Skies. Gary Skies is one of the best high school running backs I've ever seen. He was just a problem. High school kids couldn't tackle him. Bo Joe, good morning. Thank you, seams focused on Lane's comment to Holly Row. What about Tennessee's headcoat? Yeah, talked about that. That's the precedent you're setting, right?
If we're talking about what coaches say. Hawkeye, good morning. Can't you come up and look in the head next week, tear care business, mic drop, MAT, Jeffrey San, remain, good morning. Hey Nathan, good morning. How confident are you that this effectively over? Are we still going to the South? Listen, I think as far as it being over, right? The thing that I'll be mindful of is you're very much on the conference's radar. So don't do anything to run a foul to make them start to entertain conversations again. Listen, LSU is never getting kicked out of the conference. I think that's the one thing you need to take out of this more than anything. If you're wondering about LSU getting kicked out of the SEC, literally a 0% chance that ever happens, literally zero. Like, and I don't speak in absolutes, I'm just telling you a literal 0% chance that ever happens. So that is an empty thread. It's foolish. It's a bluff. Like there may be some university president who's out there, well, we're going to kick him
out the league. Like maybe telling someone that and it's stupid and it'll never happen ever. So that's the first thing you need to know. That'll never happen. But if you give the commissioner autonomy to levy punishments and suspensions and fines and all that sort of stuff and you keep doing things to embarrass them and piss them off, you're just egging them on to try to maybe do that. So just go beat the Louisiana Tech and then go beat Ole Miss and then be day and M and then whatever. Hey, Gabby, watch the Ole Miss on Sunday. So a lot like 23 LSU, depend on Trinidad, Tauk School, other teams similar to Jade. It's not a bad comp. Duce Alexander is a really good receiver. I don't know that he's Malik Brian Thomas. I don't know he's the first round pick. So I agree with you on that. But Trinidad Campbell's is outstanding. You won't hear me say a negative word about him. He is, I think the best quarterback in college football. But yeah, I agree. The jarring thing about watching that game on Sunday was Ole Miss's run defense.
I mean, I know they threw the ball, Louisville threw the ball in the second half, but Louisville ran the ball for 160-169 yards, something like that. And it was dirty. You know what I mean? Like, ran at them. I went and looked up PFF, Ole Miss missed 25 tackles in that game. Brother, I mean, they put that kind of effort against LSU. LSU is going to go to Vaught Hemingway and score 40. And if LSU scores 40, I'm telling you LSU ain't giving up for it. Hey, Michael, he probably played between 96 and 2000. Who I must have missed something, sorry. Matt, what up? Has a fellow, follically challenged man, what's your secret to keeping a full well-room facial hair? I don't really have a secret, man. I have a trimmer so that I keep it trimmed and then I use a shaver for my neck and I just eyeball it too. I don't have a measure or anything like that, I just eyeball it.
I guess if there's a good thing, it's that I have a thick dark beard. Hey, Brian, good morning from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Lane plays them like a fiddle. Hey, Jody. Brad, good morning. Thank you for being the voice of reason against Paul. I don't like that it's kind of that this is kind of being pitted like me against Paul Feinbaum because I don't think that's the case. I just think that that I don't like that. He said, Ruseheden commented, which was wrong. Called the ADA puppet, which I think is insulting. He said, Lane only answers to Jeff Landry, which is wrong. He said they were going to vote to expel. They didn't. He said suspensions were possible for Lane. They weren't like all of that was just wrong. And you got to keep in mind like we follow college sports closely and especially LSU because
we are here. But if you go on a big national platform and there's someone in Vegas, DC, LAC, Seattle, Chicago, who is only getting a surface level understanding. They don't read, they don't know what a TRO is. Not reading all this stuff every day. And they see that they go, oh man, the kickin' LSU out of league. There's just been in Lane given. Like that's all they hear. It's why it's I feel it's important when you have a platform to be responsible with the platform of the audience you have. And I think that was not a good job. My opinion. Hey, Bubba, good morning. Michael, good morning. Morning, Counselor. Regarding the players and upcoming lawsuit versus the SEC, can the NCA SEC have a federal judge overturn the state TRO to avoid the upcoming suit as that legal? The exact way you worded that, I don't know. Again, I am not an attorney.
What I do know is that they went to federal court because a federal ruling would override or supersede a state ruling, which is why they went to federal court. But again, I didn't say it. Liz Morrill said it. Had the attorney general say it. Like LSU as an arm of the state Louisiana sovereign immunity. You can't sue the state and federal court. That's effectively what she told me. So I don't think that lawsuit, she called it frivolous and garbage. Her words, not mine. Which I don't think was ever going anywhere. The best way, I'll say it again, the best way I heard it phrase with Brandon Marcello at CBS said it was a press release disguised as a lawsuit. That's what it was. Michael, the biggest winner for the litigation, Jay Daniels. That feels like forever ago, right? Hey, Ben, good morning. Shop vans and Albertsons for fresh savings every time you shop. From ATL, how did neighbor ask me why LSU wanted to play a 36 year old NFL player yesterday? He wasn't joking. Misinformation is viral. That's the point. Hey, Devon, good morning. Give me a percent chance to take up sets LSU. Oh, 1.4 percent. Tank for arch. Matt, you've been on this like a hobo on a boot, boot, a hint of a Pope. Good then, Morgan. All right, Tony. Tiger Poppy, good morning. Hey, Justin, I'm from Rustin, but LSU fan all the way. I go and run text track every day after workout. After working out, apparently, text coaches are blaring, calling batterers.
I saw that video. I saw that video yesterday on social media. And this year, I had, man, and not, by the way, I love Sonny Cumbi. He's been, I think I told you all this, I met Sonny when he took the tech job. There was a group of us that had lunch with him at T.J. ribs on a KD and when he took that job, we just had some common friends. Ontario was there at that lunch as well. Met Sonny, we've been in touch with him. And I mean, every time we've ever needed him, he's come on the show. And I think he's done a great job at that program. I mean, it's, that is not an easy thing to do when every year, your best players get poached. I mean, that's what it is. You, the G6 is now a farm system for the power for. And so you have to basically hit on, on high school prospects that you bring in and develop. Or you have to look at guys from the power for that are looking to transfer, move down a level. And so you can bring in guys maybe from SEC schools that weren't start, like Colbyfield's
a good example of that, right? Remember Colbyfield's a linebacker, started South Carolina transfer to Dallas. You will, he's a tech now in the second year. He's a really good player. So, but you have to be able to either catch guys on the way down or on the way up is basically what you have to do at tech. And I think, I think Sonny's done a great job. I mean, the 1-8 games a year ago. So. And that's playing two P4s, you know. Tiger Diver, Big ol' Bag and Nothing from the meeting yesterday. Correct. Who could have seen that coming? Hey, Matt, love how Bruce got on the call to make a point. The SEC is suing him. Do you see him not participating meetings until he's completely dropped? Yes. Hey Todd, good morning. Love to see you get 20 minutes with Fine Bomb and the mob before him with. I was a fine bomb double down calling Virgil Puppet yesterday when he was challenged by a caller about Virgil's career. Fine Bomb simply talked over and talked to the less mouse scandal said. Now, and I'll be honest with you all with this. And I mean, I'm not going to hide from this.
I thought with that that Virgil Miriam Seager who were named in the Hust Blackwell report that they should have been fired. That was my opinion at the time. She is great credit. Virgil's never held that against me. It was my opinion. He could disagree and clearly LSU did it. They suspended them and it reinstated. So, okay, it's no different than, I mean, I guess a little bit like if someone is, I don't mean to suggest that what they did was criminal. But what I'm saying is, please just follow me with the analogy. It's like if someone commits a crime, they serve their sentence. If it's prison, prison time would be probation whatever. And then you paid your debt to this to society and then you rejoin like that's what it is. So, in Virgil, I have a great relationship. I've known Virgil for 20 years, man. And I like him personally very, very much. I do staunchly disagree with calling him a puppet. That's both insulting and inaccurate. I mean, everybody has a boss.
Everybody works for somebody. Everybody was hired by somebody. And they're varying degrees of autonomy. But the thing for Jawsbury isn't running the day to day of the LSU. I thought his department is silly. One more on that. I'm going to come to you to go south. But what LSU has right now is the thing that they had 20 years ago, which is alignment. It's the word they always say. But the governor appointed Lee Mallet as the chairman of the board of supervisors, the governor's hand picked a choice for the president was Wade Rus. Virgil was elevated into the AD role from his associate AD role. They were all aligned in hiring Lane Kiffin. And so, I mean, you have all of these people on the same page.
And so you don't have feuds among your leadership. You have people that are all rowing in the same direction. So to some degree, it could be indesernable who is calling the shots or making the dip. But I'll tell you this, the decision not to roster the players. That wasn't Jeff Landry. Like ultimately, that was Wade Rus's decision. I asked the governor that last Friday when he stood next to me at my radio show. A couple more. Oh, sorry. Let me get Gulf South. Can someone ask Sankiyayy, why you allowed Charles Betty Aqua to play without following federal laws against Alabama, threatening spell from the conference? That's the point I made all along Gulf South. And which you hear is a lot of hamming and hawing. Well, it wasn't a rule of the time. Right because they just moved the goalpost to encompass LSU and all this mess right now. But that's exactly the point. And there's, well, he, he's not, he submitted an affidavit opposing it. That's, yes, he did. He opposed Charles Betty Aqua. But the presidents didn't call emergency meeting to vote Alabama on the conference for playing
a pro player. And they actually played him. That's the hypocrisy here that doesn't sit well. That's the point I keep making about when you, when you dabble in areas of gray, that's the danger of dabbling in areas of gray. It's because when you bring these, these large degrees of subjectivity into these conversations, then it becomes very different because the way it's like I've had attorneys describe it to me this way. You have, you have circum, you have similar circumstances with dramatically different outcomes, like Trinidad, Chamblis and these players that were talking to the 22 players are similar circumstances and they have a dramatically different outcome or take Chamblis out of it. So you don't confuse things with the emotion of Ole Miss. Just look at like we've talked about like with Cole Hudson or the kicker at South Carolina or any of the players that were in NFL mini camps and then Declan, right, and Xavier and Harris. Like, look at those two situations. Like if you blind resume and go one player played for two different NFL teams, actually went
on the field, practice, tried out, didn't make it. Another player was injured and never participated in a practice in a NFL, in, in, for an NFL team like which had, which, which you think is less likely to be able to come back to school. Well, it's, like, it's the one that played, actually was on the field in the uniform practicing and all this, but they're like, well, he didn't sign. Okay, so literally just signing your name on a piece of paper. That's the standard. Well, if that's the standard, then you're talking about, okay, what about, what about, like legally binding documents, like participation waivers, which every practice squad or tryout player signs, medical waivers, all those things. Like, that, again, it may sound ridiculous, but that's, that's the problem when you introduce subjectivity and areas of gray. Now, you have similar circumstances with dramatically different outcomes. And one outcome, these guys are playing Scott free and another, like, people are threatening to kick out of the league. That's dramatically different for similar circumstances. That's the problem when you dabble in areas of gray and that's the problem that the SEC presence painted themselves in the corner and the NCA started the whole freaking thing
by not granting the blanket waiver or not just saying everyone is ineligible from the class of 2022. Okay, it's, it's, it's not after further views. Mornings going, I gotta go. I'm late.
