For the Golden State Warriors, it's March 1st. Here's what's happening. Make sure you're subscribed so you never miss an update. Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr is owning up to a misstep. He called it a stupid mistake to discuss Christaas Porzingia's health on the radio yesterday. Porzingia's remained sideline for a 4th straight game tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers due to an illness. Earlier this week on 95.7 the game, Kerr shared details from a chat with Atlanta Hawks General Manager on Cicellay. Salay told him the reports about Porzingia's having postural, orthostatic, tachycardia syndrome or POTS were not true. Kerr now says he should have stayed quiet on the medical matter. Fans and the team are feeling the absence as the Warriors push for a playoff spot. Porzingia's has only played in 18 games this season since the February 5th trade deadline deal. They sent Jonathan Kaminga and Buddy Heal to Atlanta to get him. Kerr stressed that explaining the issue is beyond his expertise.
He simply noted Porzingia's sick and they will keep monitoring his condition closely. Meanwhile the Warriors hope for a quick return to bolster their lineup ahead of the playoffs. Tonight's match up at Chase Center against the Lakers adds pressure to the mix. This episode is brought to you by our sponsor. See the episode description.
