Just Show Up

My Grandfather passed this week, and I believe this is one of the greatest lessons that he taught me. There were years and times when I could not show up, when I was too much in my head, in fear and judgment about my body and my gifts. He taught me to get over that, to "educe" and pull our what was already within me. The gift is our presence.

Regardless of where you arein your body, your mind or your soul, I encourage you to just show up. 99 out of 100 times this is the right call. That one time it is not is always magnified by your mind - tell it to *&^% off. Remind yourself: "the odds are forever in your favor," trust and allow for that 99% of the time when it all works out.

After all, all business is show business. And a good business is an honest business. Learn the art of rigorous honesty, not only with others, but especially with yourself - this is the greatest adventure of all!
