And greetings from the farmland of Missouri. It's great being with you. I was reading in Psalm 16, verse 6 where the psalmist says, The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places. Indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. Psalm 16, verse 6, and Jesus does that for his followers. And the blessing of being old and having a personal relationship with Jesus is that it gets sweeter all the time is great. And I was reflecting on this this morning that the lines have fallen for me, me personally, in pleasant places the blessing of the Lord. And it's all because of his love and his mercy and his grace. Oh, that's a great thing to know, the love of God. And I think of what it says over here in Psalm 21, it says, O Lord, in your strength the king rejoices and in your salvation how greatly he exalts.
And you know, it's that way for us. And David goes on to say, You have given him his heart's desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Psalm 21, verse 1 and 2. And that's what Jesus does for you and me. And of course, our heart's desire is to him. So let's ever be looking to him and to be thanking him. I think of what it says in Hebrews 12, too, looking to Jesus the founder and perfector of our faith. So let's you and I do that and enjoy this personal relationship that we have with him. Go with God, okay? And experience his joy.
