ITB: What Are Any Lingering Roster Concerns For The Eagles?

0:00Inside the birds is back what's going on everybody it's Jeff Mosher and Adam Kaplan. No, there's no game this weekend. We got that weird extra week, but it gives Adam and I some time now to really process the Eagles after the 53 after the practice squad. There are potentially some moves ahead, but as for now we're going to talk about this 53 man roster as it pertains to going into week one next Sunday against the commanders Adam and what we're going to do and I like this episode is it's not intended of a negative slap. But what we want to do is say, hey, this is a team that's expecting to compete for a Super Bowl. The team does what are any lingering roster concerns that we have and it doesn't have to just be personnel could be a conceptual but what are what are you thinking about this team? What would hold it back? What questions do we still have about the Eagles headed into week one next Sunday?

1:04So I like this and I like that you and I do this at this time because not only do we talk about the Eagles a lot, right? But you do you talk to everybody around the league, you do your training camp tours, I've talked to a few people. I like to get like their perspective on what they think about their team, what they think about the Eagles, where teams are starting prior. You'll notice paradigm shifts and what teams start to prioritize year after year and there's some cycling going on that I wanted to talk to you about in this episode. So it's good time to do it. You know, it's funny that you bring that up because and we something we've talked about for years and it's still not been answered. Why don't teams prioritize offensive defensive lines like the Eagles do? Right. You would think like this is the most common obvious thing in life you studied it people are successful when you try to emulate what they do. Why are they good at certain things? Well, this is what they this is how they prioritize. Right. And I just don't understand it. And yeah, I mean, they've had some down years, 2020 was their last down year, they were six years ago.

2:04Okay. That's saying something when you when you could turn things around like how he's done, like he had to take stock of where he failed. Right. Well, he built a better culture, better players, not only better talent, but better people. And a lot of good things around them. But the thing that has not changed and Joe Banner brought this in with Jeffrey Laurie, 1994. Joe told us many times when we spoken to him that they studied the bill wall 49ers. What wins backs who catch the football throwing to the backs throwing early running late and prioritizing offensive defensive lines. You talk it over three decades. Right. How he's done the same thing. It works. Why don't other teams do it? The Ravens have to a certain degree, but not no one over does it like the Eagles in a good way. And that's where we go here. The Eagles have done that. Now they're going younger though with their depth. This is this is interesting that how he talked about this with the media earlier this week as we transition a little bit.

3:04Yeah. He said it as we brought it up to start our pre training camp show. That they're they have questionable depth on their offensive line in terms of experience. And how he said, if you fill me up with true serum, I would tell you we need to see what our offensive line depth looks like. Like this is a little bit we don't know yet. Well, they learned some stuff for training camp. Yeah. And that's this good place to start offensive line because that's a like you said, that's an area the Eagles have been ahead of the curve. They are introducing a new style of blocking system. So even being even having good veterans like Lane Johnson and Landon Diggers. And this is something new for Jordan Milatter. This is still something new for them. We're going to have to see how they adjust Lane Johnson missed several weeks. He was barely he wasn't in any of the OTAs that the Eagles were at. So we don't even know what his OTA participation was. He just wasn't in the ones that were open to the media. And then obviously, Mr. Couple weeks for training camp. I mean, Lane Johnson's a great player. So it's not that I have concern that all of a sudden he's going to be among the worst

4:05tackles in the league. But again, I don't I don't think it's been talked about a whole lot. The adjustment, his role in it, his absence for a while. He's coming off of an injury. So I do think the offensive line, while it looks like it's in better shape and with better depth, you just mentioned it. They're relying in backups on a guy who's only played in one game in Kendall. And that was a meaningless game in Willie Lampkin who has never played an NFL game. Mark Helbell who has never played an NFL game. And you know, obviously that's why Fred Johnson is on the roster. So because he has. But it is a little bit of a role of dice A with the inexperience among the backups and B with just in general, how are they going to adjust to a new scheme and how is this new offensive line coach? This is now you're getting past development, right? I mean, there's always development, but training camp is a big time for teaching, for learning development. But now it's about scheming. You got to be a part of the overall offensive staff that's coming up with game to game blocking you know, and protection schemes.

5:06And he's got to be a big part of that. That was a stoutland job for over a decade. And now it's a new guy. Think about it. Lane Johnson's first offensive line coach in the national football league, Jeff Stoutland in 2013. Okay. Crazy. Um, it's just, it's a culture shock way that he coached him hard, but with love. Cooper's a former NFL player. You know, we knew about him when he was with Denver. He knows the skinny played it under Shanahan. And he's coached it. He coached it under Kevin O'Connell, Minnesota. That Cooper does not have a big history of developing players. Now it looks good. Okay. It looks good. What we saw, Willie Lampkin, a great story. Yeah. Great story. No doubt. Now if he has to play, who knows? Drew Kennel, startlister, was that center not guard across training with guard? Yep. You don't know until you get in. And that brings up why this, you know, our, our, in our pre training camp show, we talked about, and they need the veteran guard depth. They still need one, not on the 53. We're talking 69 man roster.

6:07Something on the show today is, is depth for the practice squad, because you could have up to six veterans on your practice squad. Right. So that's where someone who knows the system, as you mentioned, not only zone blocking, this is going to be more outside zone than inside zone. Now, it's easier said than done. You got to go for a lot of tape if you're the pro personnel staff. This is part of their job, by the way. Mm-hmm. Is to find these how he, if it's done the right way, they'll be assigned, they're, they're generally signed teams anyway. Mm-hmm. But whoever's got these West Coast teams that run the scheme, they got to find these guys, because if somebody gets hurt, will he lampkin, by the way? Okay, great story. Maybe someone knows this. I don't know if the last offensive lineman in the National Football League to start a game who was on a 5 foot 11. Mm-hmm. I mean, I'm sure it's happened. I'm sure it's happened. I don't know. I mean, Nicole might have been 5-11, but, well, he would have been less at a 6 feet, but we still, he gives a fire hydrant. Yeah. I think he's a 5-10, whatever the hell, 5-11, something.

7:07Yeah. And he was a player who the more he played, the more he got worse. And I'm going to go, so that's not a great thing. Yeah. But, yeah, yeah. No, it's, it's unique because the practice squad, as you're mentioning, you know, they went out, they re, they brought back Ojuku and they brought back majors, okay? Two guys that they're trying to develop, but no, not guys like you're saying with NFL experience, veteran, or a little scant NFL experience for Ojuku. Not the veteran that you're talking about who started. Yeah, he started. He started for someone who was in the back nine, who understands like, you're not coming here to start. You're coming here to try to win a ring. You're going to have a chance to win a ring here. Yes, that's what they're looking for. Right. You're, you're getting sold on the winning. You've made a lot of money in your career. Someone in the back nine, right, who Eagles have it history. So I don't know why I thought of this guy. Steve Valleves, remember him? Yeah. Yeah. I don't know why I don't either. He came here for a mudmobile Howard mud. Yeah. This mud coached him in the Indian, I think.

8:08The mud guys like that. Yeah. Yeah. And then of course, their other acquisition was the Bears tackle who still a developmental guy. He's not, he doesn't fit that category either. You pronounce his name better than me. It's Kiran Arm. Archity. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's not a, but he's not a guy that's looking play guy either. He doesn't have experience to move this along here. They need, they really need just one guy within the, you know, within the first half of season. Because if somebody gets hurt, these inexperienced guys are going in and you want to have an answer. You want to know because this is a playoff team. Eagles are a playoff team. The odds makers believe that as well. Barely over Dallas, which is another, which is another show and entirely. But yeah, you just don't, you always have to, there's a saying in the national football league, what's our answer if this happens? You have to have an answer. Right. Let's talk about the wide receiver group. You didn't hit me until you actually brought this up recently in a pod, I believe. And that was that it without AJ Brown. And with Kudari's Cooper, not expected to really play a big role in your offense. They really don't have the ideal mix of size to go along with like their quickness and

9:13other traits, you know, Hollywood Brown's not a big guy. Devon Desymith is a very good contested. He plays big, but you always worry about injury. He's fine. Like there's nothing. You're not changing anything about Devon Desymith. But in general, McCoy Limon, we know is a, it was a, is a shorter, short arm receiver. They don't have someone with that great play strength outside of Devon Desy that you would like to see on the opposite side of that X who can, who's known for being very physical. I think it wicks us out of nice camp and he gets in and breaks well. I don't know that I would describe him as someone who has like, physicality of a pure, like dominant X receiver. He's not. They're a little small. Look, there's only one AJ Brown. Right. But the term, and I got this a couple years ago, and then it just came up in a conversation with someone with another team that's who actually brought it up to me without even bringing it up, because I was just talking about, are there any receivers with size out there? You think Philly could sign this guy.

10:13He knows Eagles roster really well. He goes, well, yeah, without AJ Brown, they don't, they don't size protection. For Devon Desymith, I said, hey, I've heard this before. Could he explain to me? He goes, yeah, there's, there's certain routes that you're not going to ask Devon Desymith to run. He's just not as good of a player he is. He's not built like AJ Brown who's muscleed up and wicks as long, but he's not muscle, he's not that guy dominant physical presence. And he goes, yeah, he doesn't have that protection. And I said to this guy, I said, do you think that would make sense for them to play Dallas, got it at the exposition? He goes, he goes, he goes, every team does that with their tight ends. And I said, yeah, Philly did with saccharit, it doesn't run very well. He was great as he was. He just wasn't a speed guy. Got her stung before he goes, yeah, he goes, that's a natural thing for them to do. And he didn't, he didn't know the roster like you and I did. But he said that absolutely, they're going to have an issue without AJ Brown. There's, you don't have that protection for Smitty. And I said, yeah, Hollywood Brown's five, not he's small.

11:15He actually might even be smaller than five nine. He's small. Large or more is five, 10 plus or actually he's under five, 10, he's actually five, nine and a half. Smitty is six even, a chile, I mean, a smaller six feet. So they don't have that. So that's something now when you look at personnel groupings and matchups, this is something we're going to look into more. We haven't really talked about this much, but this, this guy had me thinkin' and I, you know, I looked at it as I brought it up to you. I said, there are small group of receivers. We haven't seen this in a while. Now, there are as Cooper's rocked up. He's reshaped his body, but he's not six feet. He's not long. Right. Right. Works as a long guy, but he's not explosive. And as you said, and I great, you would not look at him as a physical receiver like AJ Brown is. Correct. That's something to watch your show. Do you remember this along here? Yeah. It's something they could look for their practice squad. A guy with size who knows the West Coast system like Wix does, by the way. He's your seven done. You don't, again, a guy that maybe it's in mid career, back nine of his career.

12:17That would like to win. And you know what? The Eagles have a lot of receivers on their 53, probably too many. But they don't have something with size. It's something to look at going for. Yeah. And by the way, this is a secondary concern. It's not a, it's not a fault of howie. I think he's actually had more wide receiver depth this year than in quite a bit of years. But if Devon takes Smith were to miss three to four games, I think this wide receiver group would be in a lot of trouble. Which would make the offense be in a lot of trouble. By the way, they'll be, they'll be 14 personnel. Yeah. You see, you know, we still off the tackles out. They'll be running. He's not going to fight out. I mean, dude, it's just it would not be good. But you know, you, you, you, you have to do what you got to do here. But and then you'll finally on offense. We've talked about the tight ends for a bit. They have enough, but that's not what it is. It, the issue is if God have got hurt. Stowers isn't ready. Jenkins is a three at best. And Monkake is, is it, is a wide tight end who doesn't catch the football? Yeah. And as of now, as we speak here on Thursday,

13:19don't only have a tight on the practice squad. I don't think so. No, no, no, we talked about that in the practice squad. Pod, like how do they not have a tight end on the practice squad? Now we'll have a list. We'll put together a best available players that are on the street. And that and and by the way, you want them, the huge nothing. This, no one West Coast terminology. You've got to know the West Coast system. It's very important months played almost an entire career in the West Coast system. Yeah. It's a big reason why he's, in fact, he, that's the reason why he's here. Right. Because he knows just so many can block. That's something to look at here of things change. And it's st, and we'll get the defense in a minute. It's like you got to know the phantiosystem. He goes running at the heartway. Bennett didn't know it, it's according to Bennett. And he just has, he didn't get it. Yeah, it's hurt right now, but that, that, that stuff matters. Yeah. You can say what you, you want to me as, as just a negidofian approach, but like I can't get it out of my head that the Eagles are going to be relying heavily on Johnny Mon, especially

14:19at the start of the year where they have these injuries and uncertainty. And month is a guy that the Jaguar is released. This was not a free agent who was, you know, looking for a better, you know, paychecks and one of those is a guy who was already cut and trying to hang on and has been one dimensional throughout his career. And this is guy who's probably going to play a decent amount of snaps for the Eagles early on. Part of that makes me just wonder when you sandwich that with what we said about the offensive line and the wide receiver group, but just gives me some overall question about the offense's ability to reach its potential when it, it doesn't have everything it needs right now. And then you sandwich in or combine in the first time play caller. And go ahead. I would just say that. I want you to just said about it doesn't have everything it needs. This starting 11 is pretty good. Now yes, there are questions about the offensive lineman's health. And we did look and trade in campus. You don't know until you get into a regular season game they didn't play in the preseason. Right. The size is an issue. There are some issues. But as we've learned and I cannot use this example enough, you don't have to have great

15:24talent to beat anybody. Eagles got housed by the Niners and now you're playing all backups pretty much at receiver and tight end. They got embarrassed Jake Tongues. We found who Jake Tongues is. You know, the league found out about him. Now you don't want to do it like, okay, that's a nice, let it game. Okay, you don't want to do it over 17 weeks. You're going to be you're not going to win. Right. But you can get away with it. But you if somebody gets hurt as you outline, we'll move to defense in a minute here. You better have answers, man. And the answers here, if some guys get hurt, it would be a concern. Yeah. And I'll just quickly gloss over this and maybe we'll talk about it later on pot. Sure, I'm anian being the first time play caller. I know that the team is both highly of them. I've liked what I've seen in camp. I certainly can see the difference in how the offensive construct will be. But with any first time coach, they can hit the ground running. But the NFL will adjust to you. You're what you do will be on tape. And how you do it is going to be scrutinized, right?

16:26From week to week and then the North season. I think one of my bigger questions will be as we go along throughout the year is if there is some good offensive sex success, there's harmony and stuff, how will he adjust to the adjustments? Because he has never been in this position before. Never had to do it. And he hasn't even been like the guy behind the guy for a long time. He's only been a coach for two years. I mean, I get being a backup quarterback is part of that, but it's not the same thing. So I think all season long, I'm going to be wondering if they had some good spurts of offense early and teams start doing something different. What kind of counter punches he going to have as a guy who's never been in the game? In the opposite form. It's the same. That's why a lingering thought I would have about it. By the way, week one, it's two offensive coordinators who were down in the 30 year in coach David Blow. Yeah. He's actually younger than Manion and Manion. Yeah. They're all going to Ben Johnson had to learn. When he got pressed in a service, when Dan Campbell kept missing on offensive coordinators, he's like, who's this Ben Johnson guy? Nobody wanted any problem.

17:27He coached with Miami. He's brought up in the West Coast system. You don't know until they get there. It's the same with players. It all looks great in the preseason, but until they play real games, you don't know. Yeah. You don't know until they have to do it. Yeah, then look at this. You get Robert Salo week two. He's good. He's very good defensive mind. You get Dennis Allen week three, one of the best. You get Chris Shula in this legendary Rams defense week four. So it'll be a really good luck. Yeah, good luck. Speaking of defense, let's transition to the Eagles defense. We have discussed this cornerback situation, this depth situation, just like I said with Devonte, if Quenia Mitchell or Rick Wolland were to get hurt, have to miss a couple of weeks. Man, you're looking at this thing like you're hoping the rest of the defense can hold it together and kind of compensate for what is going to be a glaring hole at the other corner back spot. Yeah, if it was long term, it most certainly would be put into gene back to corner.

21:34Now, short term is Japanese Jones. But Johnson Jones and another guy, 33 years old, he's, you just don't know. I mean, he turns 33, 33, tackling in two weeks, but he's 33 and half years. Yeah, age 33 season. Yep, he's hurt. Last season, hurt this season. Inside outside capability, but he's more of an outside corner. It's, we'll see. It's kind of like, now again, if one of the top three gets hurt, including Jones, Jones, let's say one of the stars gets hurt, Jones moves up your third corner, Mac, Bick Williams. Yeah. Not like he's, he get now up and down and turning camp up and down as an eagle, fifth round pick. You need, you need one more guy in the practice club who knows the system knows that this match carried delivered the match mirror match system. It's called. Yeah. Yeah, it's not like that's not easy to find. Yeah, the fan just, no more teams are playing fan jail.

22:36So you could find some guys, but it's not easy. Right. And this is where I think Michael Carter Jr. or the second, I mean, becomes such an important piece of the defense if there are injuries because if Cooper to Jean, if they do get an injury to an outside corner, you're right, the Jean would have to step in there. And then that would allow McCuba and Marcus Epps to be your safety tandem, but it would probably put Carter the second as your top nickel with the Jean playing the outside or the, yeah, because you would want to keep the Jean outside in those situations if you didn't have either Mitchell or, or, or, or Rick Wolland. So long term, if they're out long, yeah, if they're out long term. But so the gift in the curse thing is real about Michael Carter to the second is trying to earn a say, starting safety spot, but it's so valuable as a movable piece in that secondary that it just, it makes, it makes sense to have them there and it's, it's a benefit for the Eagles. Not if he has to play. You don't want it to, but if you, you, you believe he can hold it down if he needs to. Yeah, in look, again, the key is you, Vic made this commitment to move to Jean off quarter.

23:42He likes to stick with it. He did it, he did address it early in training camp. He talked about it. I mean, you got to do what you got to do as a coach, but they just seem one guy get all these players. You don't need on the 53. They're just the practice squad. You understand that they're here to try a win a ring. And if they're called upon, be ready. Just be ready mentally and the coaches have to coach them up. And no more Christian Parker, by the way, that's a big deal. He's no longer here. Vic ProJays now running Dallas's defense. So we'll see what happens. Yeah. I had one last sort of defense. This is not a concern. This is just something I'm thinking about. Okay, the Eagles, we've talked about are going to be in base defense quite a bit. They're going to play a lot of 12 and some 13 personnel teams. We suspect that'll put them in base, which means to Jean will be out of the nickel and at safety. I just wonder about their ability to tackle at the edges in the run. Campbell is a guy that Vic Fangio said needed more work played in the first preseason game.

24:43Still learning how to be a downhill player the right way. His coverage is amazing. Athleticism is great. That's an upgrade over Nicobie. But in Campbell and then at the edge, we saw many, many years ago, we joked about how Sean Payton basically funneled his run game with the Saints at the nickel. Who is a Sydney Jones playing nickel? He's talking about Peter King piece. Yeah, they actually made it on the record. We're going off to Sydney Jones. Right. So, you know, Rick Wolland is a guy who did not play on rundowns for Seattle because they just didn't take you with a very good run defender. You got Campbell learning. You can be a little light on the edges, although you have good run defensive edge setters. I just, after watching last year, I'm not going to just rubber stamp that this is going to be a great run defense because they had some real flaws, both up the middle and to the edges. You can convince me up the middle. They'll be better at them because Carter's healthy and Carter and Davis is fine. But I would have some concern about the really good offensive minds getting the Eagles into

25:43base, getting to gene out of the nickel and then trying to run toward the woolen Campbell sides, you know, just to see if they can get some space there. That's a small thing, but it's just, it's something that I've been thinking about. After a last year. Yeah, the Chicago game Carter was shoulder is bad. Right. I know. I know. It doesn't excuse the other guys not showing up. Right. The game thought, I don't know if it was NFL record, certainly had to be a team record where they gave 200 year russures in the first half of a game like that. I don't know, Vic Fancho, but I know he can get salty talking to people work with him. I mean, if I'm him, I am going off. I'm like, I don't know. It was so embarrassing. The lack of effort. Right. You know, now usually the efforts phenomenal for those, they're a great D line, but it's just that a bad, bad a bad game. It happens. Yeah. But you know, Carter, excuse me, Campbell is non instinctive like Trot Jr. Or the Koby, he's just not. Not yet.

26:44That's right. Because it's inexperienced at the linebacker position. Remember, he went to Alabama as an edge russure. So he's got to make up for lost time. He's been hurt a lot over his career football career going back to Alabama. You don't know. The good thing is if he has to play Trot Jr. Shoney can do it. But yeah, the tackling of the corners, I remember Jim Schwartz talking about when you know, with his scheme playing that wide-dine front, the corners have to tackle. They move up. They got to tackle. Whatever scheme you run and we don't talk about it enough, you got to be able to tackle if you're defensive back. And it's not just the front seven. The defensive backs have to tackle too. And you mentioned Wolland. Yeah. What you're going to know a lot about in the first quarter of the season, you was going to be challenged. I know Washington with all their injuries on their offensive line, maybe not. Right. Maybe not week two against Tennessee. But you mentioned weeks three and four. Although Brian Dable knows the Eagles, who's the play calling for the Titans. Yeah. But Ben Johnson and Shamevay. Yep. Uh, is Jackson the week drive? That's another team that that I think is going to be, um, I know their offensive line

27:48is not very good, but they like to run and they've got to. Five. Well, I didn't even realize they played Jackson at Jacksonville. Now, that's in London, right? Uh, yes, that's the London game. You have nine thirty Eastern here. We see it. So yeah, wow. And Liam Cohen, I mean, he had an unbelievable first year. Yeah. Yeah. That's a great week. So of a shenanigans style, outside zone, run game where they're going to funnel the and three pretty good offensive minds there. I still don't know how Jacksonville won 13 games last year with that offensive line, but they did it. I mean, I gave Liam Cohen credit. I know there's some people in the national football league. We were concerned about him. Didn't didn't know. We thought it might be a little bit early for him, but again, it's only your one, you know, because look, not that they're the same thing, but you saw Doug came in on the white as a white night, you know, on the horse. Yeah. First year phenomenal. Then it was downhill after that because they after every Meyer, you needed anybody who was bringing positivity. Right. And Doug said you do not end well with Jacksonville and Liam Cohen comes in here and blows it up.

28:50That's great. Right. Software season. We'll see. So yeah, those will put those will be three straight really good offensive minds, good 12 type personnel run teams that are going to take it in the Eagles and they got to be up to the challenge every week. Yeah. Like you said, you can't really have one of those left out weeks. Mm-hmm. All right. So any other concerns defensively, I will be the first to admit that was of me like really sitting down thinking what, what non personnel like conceptual concern would I have about this Eagles defense based on, you know, last year what we saw and any changes they made this year. And that was really the one thing that jumped into my mind. Yeah. Yeah, losing the Kobe and with Campbell is you get a little bit of downgrade, certainly in attacking line of scrimmage and upgrading coverage and then going to reek wool and immediately saying he's a three down core, four down corner, which is not willing to do just sort of set up a flag from. Yeah. I would finish off just as an overview before we get out of here.

29:52I would because people have asked me this question and I'll just summarize it very quickly. I give a Clifton's version. The strength on this football team off into defense quarterback, obviously with Hertz, but they have guys who could handle this. McKean Dalton, they just didn't do a good job in training camp. There's a concern there about if they had to play particularly McKay because he's new to the system. But he's got the talent to do it. But it is a concern if Hertz gets hurt. The running back depth is very good. It's very good. Bigs me when the best backup running backs shipley really had a great training camp. I mean, he looks explosive. He's good in the south side system. The receiver depth is fine. It's okay. Yes, there's a drop off if something gets hurt. But if nobody gets hurt, they're going to be okay. Tight end depth questionable. DeLine front seven phenomenal. One screw dark gets back. Show me a better front seven than national football. I don't know if there is one. They also have offensive. They also have defensive tackle depth with young who's really good and Robins.

30:52It came on. Trot juniors want to best backup linebackers than league. But if nobody gets hurt, they're going to be good in the secondary is safety. Do we know about safety yet? It's a major question mark. That is by the way, it's the biggest issue for me and I about you. The biggest issue of the start of the starters is the safeties. We don't know how good McCool is. We haven't talked about it enough. We have no idea. We agree. And X is another year older and he's not necessarily a traits measurable. Safety. Safety. Safety. Right. Right. Who knows? All right. Yeah. Good stuff. Good introspective look at some of the thing. I mean, we do podcasts on all the good things about the Eagles. It's okay if we just talk about some lingering concerns going in. But honestly, on that, I'm not. Like, I'm sure if we I would love to go back and look at our 2020. I'm sure we should have six years ago. I'm sure we bludgeoned the team coming in this season. Yeah. I can't imagine we felt good about it. And it was a terrible team. Which is what you wait, which year 2020?

31:542020. Oh, yeah. Last bad year for how he's 20. The roster is bad. Yeah. You know, the end of the line. Yeah. You could really see it coming in with the ball. It was bad. I think if you have a Super Bowl caliber side of the ball, like defense or offense, then you can say you're a super Bowl. Contender, which I think that the Eagles can probably say it right now. Hypothetically, like for example, Seattle was not a great offensive team. They were good. They were not great. And any of all the metrics they're passing in, they're running in their offense was middle of the pack, but they had an unbelievable defense. And they wrote it to a Super Bowl. So could the Eagles do that similarly? Sure. If their offense is just like 14th, if they're passing offense is like 20th instead of 29th, you know, maybe they're not going to be able to do that.

34:04I think that it's 1.5th instead of 29th, you know, maybe that didn't this is a legit Super Bowl team for sure, but I just got to see that first and see if these changes on offense worked out. And if they can compensate for doing it in a totally different way with no AJ Brown. That's it. And it's going to be some small ball lots of crossers, we saw this in training camp. And that this to me is more of what I saw of a old school west coast offense. a lot of it because they were Eagles ran their stuff against the wing line. Yeah. In the practice not in the game. Right. They ran their their system. Um, it boy, it looks a lot like Shanhan McVey. Mm hmm. Maybe more Shanahan in the concepts. But it's definitely a combination of both. And it's, if hurt, I'll tell you what though, if hurts gets it, if hurts gets it and he's, you know, he's bought in from everything we've heard. I know it probably sounds sure. Sounds like it. They're going to be better. And I think I, I haven't for 11 12 ones. I give one more inches for all teams. I don't see them being 13 or 14 one team.

35:06I just, I, yeah, I don't know what happened. I'll go right away for that. I agree. I agree. I have to talk about. We didn't even talk about Barclay. And we'll talk about more about this next week. Could say, Juan, I actually have the written down, you know, he gets back to the golf. They're outstanding questions for this team to be 13 15 wins. Yeah. A nice, verbal team. It's got to be things could have to happen. And we didn't see which happens and it probably will happen. Very, very well said. Good way to end it.
