Christopher and I were just filling Biggie in on our two guys in Chris Comedy All-Star Tour, which just wrapped up Saturday night. Great, great time. Every year I go into it, I'm like, oh, grump, grouse and groan. Oh, but then you get to know the guys, the comedians, and they're so wonderful, and the people that come out are just so nice, and the whole, every, the team is so good, you know. You know, I, um, I monitor social media, yeah. And I have to say, I think this might be the best one yet. The most well received. Well received. I've never seen so many positive comments for anything we've ever done, as I have seen with this comedy show tour. It did. It went off without a hitch. I mean, a few hiccups along the way handled really well by our team and every fan. I've got a president. Well, it was given to me, Biggie, on Friday night in Savannah by the nicest couple. Well, everybody's so great. I mean, they're just, they're just so great. And they gave me a coffee mug.
Oh, is that Gina? And is it Steve? Yeah. I think that's right. And they're just, they've been at least three times for listeners in Savannah. Different locations. And they are just, I mean, everybody's so great. Some people bring us president. They brought Christy and a Rick Flair t-shirt, which was really cool. Oh, cool. They brought you the beautiful. Yeah, he loved it. And they gave me a coffee mug and they said, well, I know you don't drink coffee, but I think Biggie will get a kick out of this. And I'm, I may just regift it to you or leave it in the studio. I left it in the car. I'll go get it in the first commercial break so you can see it. What I found interesting was that when, when Gina handed it to you, she said, us, she said, you're give to me. Didn't need, doesn't need explanation. She said, Kelly's would. And then I saw it and I thought, no, no, no, I think I get it. I got it. I got it. Wait, you said, I think you'll get it instantly. Does it involve a word you hate? Yeah. Well, it involves a word in a way. Yes, it involves a word that we can't say on our air. I'll just say that. Oh, okay. It's not the word you think, which I do hate.
It's not the word you think. Another, well, a moment over the weekend. Christian witnessed it. Very well-dressed gentleman came up to us. Pre-show in Myrtle Beach. We do the pre-show where there's a, this location they had pizza. Yeah, you get, you know, if you buy, if you pay a little extra, you get upgraded seats. You get free food before the show. And if you want, you can get a picture with us. Hang out. Well, it's nice. It's always really nice. And very nice gentleman came up with his wife, well-dressed, and we're in Myrtle Beach now. And he said, I used to work TV in your area. I was in charge of the ABC affiliate and some others in your area. And so we chatted a little about that. And I said, well, what are you doing now? And he said, well, I run the radio station. You're on. I work with you. I thought I had told you that. So they're really well-dressed men with his wife. Yeah, you said. Yeah, he kind of runs the show here in Myrtle Beach. Does, he does. And he goes, I'm your boss in Myrtle Beach.
And I was like, oh, okay. Cool, cool. Yeah, right. Yeah. Should have known that. And then he said, and we've met before. Yeah, okay. Yeah, yeah, yeah. What do you get a picture with the lung head? Yeah. These are the things I do. That's why I came up and just started talking like I knew you. Because I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, you, I know, you. And you should know me. Everybody I say, nice to meet you. We've met seven or eight times. Yeah, yeah. There was a guy, I think he sent an email. You may have been copied on. He was wearing a hat. This is in Savannah. And the hat, it was backwards baseball cap. And it had a word on it. I didn't have my, I didn't have my cheaters on. Okay. Okay. And the foot looked like something I would know. I'm sorry, I just had a Celsius. I needed a little extra energy today. Okay. A Celsius. Sun like you. They're out of diet cup. That's also I like you. I know. They're machines out of that coke and I thought, should I get diet Pepsi? No. Should I get Celsius? I'll go, I'll go Celsius. So I went ahead and did it.
And anyway, this guy in Savannah, the font to me looked familiar. So I said, Brewer's man, look like a Milwaukee Brewer's hat to me. It just said Brewer's on the back. Okay. He's now, man, that's a Savannah banana's hat. That's, see, it says banana. My God. That's Justin. It looked a lot like banana. Brewer's to me. Justin said that will be his crowning achievement in life. He loved it. The farthest thing away from the brewers. Yes. Indeed. But it had a baseball. It starts with a B and the font, I thought was similar. Now, I didn't see the front of the cap, which was just a banana. It's the banana. But I saw the back of the cap. Brewer's man said Brewer's man. Are you from Milwaukee? No, I'm from Savannah. We're in Savannah. The bananas play in Savannah. He sent an email and said, highlight of his life. Because I said, which you know I say, I say to people, I go up to them and say, Cardinals, man. No, no, spurs, man. No, whatever's on their clothing, you just read it back. In this case, I read it incorrectly.
The problem is that's what's going to happen unless we get you some up-to-date readers and cheaters. It was dark. It was dark. The lighting was not good in Savannah. It was, I mean, it was a beautiful, intimate atmosphere. But for reading hats, it wasn't perfect. And Chris Tim said, I don't like the lighting for these photos. We had to move the... No, I didn't care for it at all. You don't have to rest in me. The way to move the background for the... We were reminiscing about previous... You know, because BB Shay couldn't be there in Myrtle Beach, Red Rachel had to host the after party at the Treasure Club. That's the Strip Club. Oh. Okay. And I don't know if you know, but Rachel A said she'd never been to a Strip Club before. And BB was hoping to go. Yeah. She was actually looking forward to just kind of seeing what was what goes on in there. She, uh, we'll get a report. She should be in today and see what she thought of the Strip Club. They say women have a, as good or better time to strip up than men do. I, a lot of strippers, I think, see women and feel more comfortable a lot of times with women. Oh, well. You know, because it's like,
not saying it doesn't happen, but I feel like they're probably thinking there's a less chance of you being a creep. Oh, I see. Yeah, you're not going to get all-hanging. Yeah, I say fall in love, chances are. But I will tell you in my years, I spent in the club. I saw a few women get removed from time to time. Did you? Yeah. I mean, a little too much. Do women who like women go to Strip Clubs? You know what I'm saying? Let me in. Am I? Did I go to Strip Clubs? I don't know, I don't know. I can't speak on that. Yeah. Of course you'd think almost everyone got, uh, speaking of which, you know, we have polygirl Cassie who calls from time to time. And you know how I think she likes to get my reaction when she says, just drops in fact towards about her, yeah, personal life. She got you the other day. I mean, it was word salad to you. All time. My wife just visited her boyfriend and her girlfriend in Palm Beach. We were like, I mean, here. I believe it was like, I'm excited. My wife is back from visiting her boyfriend and girlfriend in Arizona.
There was a bit. I thought it was my lease. I couldn't even tell you where. Maybe, maybe some exotic locale. She's like, yeah, my girlfriend, my wife is back. My wife is back. And you know, what is that? I'm from Randolph County. Why, boyfriend, girlfriend. What, I'm from Randolph County. Listen to this, I went to, uh, while we were in Savannah, I went to play pickleball at a place they're called the local pickle. Coming back in May for a big pickleball event. Solo, I'll be by myself, this pickleball event. And I met the lady Nancy who runs the local pickle. Great spot indoors. Okay. It's actually in Bluffton, South Carolina. It's probably 40 minutes from Savannah. And I said, all right, let's do this. I show up. We played for two and a half hours. You know, with, I played with Nancy are the person who owns the local pickle there. Very nice. Afterwards, she says, grab some lunch from the counter. Let's go. And I said, all right. So we said, one of my cemetery salads that I met.
She pre-prepared your meals. Yeah, yeah. It went uneaten. One of my cemetery salads went uneaten. Because I stayed after. I said, I'm starving. I got to get on the road. She goes, insist you come. I'll keep you company while we sit and eat at the lunch counter. I'm assuming you offered your salad to a homeless. It's still rotting away in the back of the van. Still in that cooler rotting away. I'm sure you saw someone struggling on the side of the road and said, lunch is on me. That's what I do. I didn't see a homeless. We have a oil and vinegar in it. My God, what is this? Give me your ranch. Right. No, I'm good. I'm good. No, no. So I'll have oil backs me up. So I'm sitting there with this woman, Nancy. And we're having lunch after pickleballing. And a guy who clearly knows Nancy comes up and sits there and starts talking, I don't have no idea who he is at all. And here's those blowhards from the radio or in town. Yeah, the one's all right, but he's retiring.
The other guy. That goodness, they cleared out early. Now they're murled beaches problem. Yeah, get them out of here. No, he sits down and he says, she said he's visiting from North Carolina. And the guy goes, I just drove in this morning from Raleigh. And this is, you know, what, a four and a half hour drive. Yeah. And he's like, I got up really early. I wanted to get back here. I, uh, and he goes, it was a tough drive. I took my boyfriend's convertible. It's a guy sitting and talking. I took my boyfriend's convertible. And I'm like, wow. Sorry, the penny went down. And he goes, it was the drive. I hit some potholes. And he's like, I just, the convertible. I just don't love driving it for whatever this and that. And then he says, my girlfriend was with me. She offered a drive. And I'm just sitting there going, hold up a second. You're, you can't keep up.
You're driving your boyfriend's convertible, but your girlfriend was with you. But I just stared at it. I didn't say anything. I didn't want to say anything. And they went on and on talking about this. It was a lot like, I feel like he was like, put in there to try to get me to engage. I was like, you know, I don't do that well. I'm not good at that. And I don't know. So you made no conversation whatsoever. No, I just sat. I just sat and watched as they chatted. And, but I was thinking it reminded me of when Polygirl Cassie, yeah, dropped the bomb, drops the bombs like that. Yeah. So you're going back for a solo tournament in May. It's a big, it's a huge tournament. And I'm, I'm seeing part of it. May play that guy. Yeah, this is, I think you should do this. I want to see you, I've been waiting for this moment. I want to see how you play on your own without the diesel, without the diesel, without anyone in your head, but yourself, which may or may not be a good thing. Yeah, but I want to see how you do. I think you win. What do you think? I don't even know.
I told them I can play. I can announce what you want me to do. You think they're expecting you just kind of host M. See it? No, I don't know. I'm not sure. It's in formation right now. I mean, they even said, bring the diesel if you want, but I'm afraid to bring them in. Then we don't really play. You know, I don't know exactly what it's going to be. I want to see you go on your own. I bet you zone out and play lights out because there's no one around you. But you're yourself and you just play. I don't know, man. You're setting this up for a Michael McDonnell patty LaBelle on my own situation. I'm worried about it. This wasn't how it was supposed to be. Yeah, I'm concerned about it. It's diesel on one coast, me on the other, playing different places. I just don't know. I'm not sure whether to mention it to him or not. I mean, you might both thrive in the other's absence. Who knows? What would you do if you both, let's say you both win the respective tournament single. You come back and just stare at each other like, maybe it's time to move. Maybe we're split. I would break my heart. I can't. I've already losing one partner.
I can't. I know one lover and you can't. I can't. I don't think I can lose it. I won't even marry. I don't think I can do it. Maybe I don't think. I have to take him with. I have to get the diesel and wrangle him in. That's a tournament in May. But the whole thing is about strip clubs. One time. Now, not this time around. One of the comedians. I won't even mention it. But he was. This is years gone. Years gone. Years gone. He said he was going to go to the strip club after party. There's an after party. And they said, we'll pay you a certain amount of money to go to the strip club. He's like, I can't. Great. See you there. I'm in. Wonderful. So we did it twice. And the first night, he didn't go. But he took the money. Yeah. I don't know which business you're supposed to pay someone after they do the job. We paid him up. Construction drive. We drive ways and roofing comics. We gave him the money upfront. And he did not go to the strip club. So that was one weekend.
And so there was another one. The following weekend. Myrtle Beach or wherever they said, now you're going to go this time, right? It's oh, yeah, yeah, I'll go. Oh, yeah, last time was just a mistake. Sorry. Yeah. So they pay it. I'll be there. Obviously, I'll be there. They pay him the money. He cooked the money. He didn't go again twice. You know what they say? I think it was a full former president. It said, fool me once. Yeah. That's right. But I, as BBC would say, admire the hustle because I like the guy very, very much. A hundred percent. Yeah, super nice guy. Very funny, very nice. Twice was supposed to go to strip clubs after parties. Twice took the money and didn't go either time. The second time is hands down my favorite because he knew at that point. Yeah. He was like, because I was, I was, I was around for this. And I saw absolutely. You know I'm going to go last time just a mistake. Right. Take me to my hotel. Yeah, he didn't. I saw him in the elevator at the hotel.
And I didn't go to the strip club. And I thought, huh, I thought he was supposed to be at the strip club. Maybe he's changing clothes at the hotel and going to run over to the club. Yeah, he did great working with you. Yeah, that was it. That was the last show. The next morning he was gone. I was gone. That was it. And we get back here to the station. They're like, yeah, I didn't go to either of the strip club and he took our money. And what? And it was just like, yeah, but great guy. I, I, we're going to work with him again. I'm a big fan of the guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy. I'm a guy.
