1:01A massive win for the other like crows in the NFLW. There certainly was 39 to 30. They got up our crows and one of the stars, Jess Allen played in her 50th Jess. Welcome. Hey, how you going? Thanks for having me on. No thanks for coming on. It was good game up there. What were the conditions like? It looked a little slippery. Yeah, it was actually, I mean, it was a river of a day, but there's no like bit of humidity up up in breezy. So I think it was dropped to about 25 for game time, but then obviously as the the life's come on, the sun went down, it just got a bit duey as the game went on. So yeah, definitely the second half a bit more wet weather conditions kind of came into it. Well, there's records everywhere. I mean, you played your 50th. Noffi or Ebony Marinoff known more formally. She's going to be the last player standing to play every possible AFLW game since inception. It's just an incredible record. Yeah, yeah, it's unreal. Actually, I don't think a lot of us knew until post game when it got released just because I think another girl in the competition that was neck and back with her this whole time didn't play. So

2:04they're pretty incredible achievements for her. And it wasn't, yeah, it was my 50th, but I was sending my club piece with games. So I think I've I've been about 65 games, I think normally. So I wasn't really expecting that milestone, but if I'm, you know, it keeps showing like a big deal of it. It was nice to get a good win with the girls. Well, that was the main thing, Jess, you got the win now. They've been a bit of a problem side for you to actually beat Brisbane in Brisbane. That's a feather in the cap. Yeah, we've actually been looking at the stats and it's pretty incredible. We actually haven't beaten the sides since 2022 and myself individually. I've actually never beaten Brisbane before home or away. So I think we're currently the biggest standing rather in the competition that we've played each other more than any other team just because of the way we've played out in finalists for much every year. So pretty, pretty incredible history between us, but I think most of the time within the last four years at least every game is within nine points. So to be able to get the win by nine points is pretty incredible.

3:04You're halfway through. You sit three and three. What do you think you need to do in this second half to get a finals birth? Honestly, biggest thing is probably consistency from here. We've had some really good patches and even you were seeing, we obviously lost to Sydney early that first kind of season, but between Sydney and even though I'm in the weekend, we're losing by close margin. So we just honestly just got to take what we sort of, what the form we sort of had come through on the weekend and actually keep that momentum going. And the biggest thing is obviously Ryan asked a lot about midfields on the weekend and we finally found a bit more of the contest and actually got our clearance numbers off. I think that was a big, big change in how we were successful yesterday. So I think that'll be the biggest thing is keeping that going for the next couple of weeks. Well, you won clearance convincingly. Ryan Davis, I was going to ask you about him. He obviously coached against the old mob for the first time. To me, he seems like the complete opposite to Doc Clark. I mean, if Doc Clark was any more laid back, he'd be horizontal. Whereas

4:07this fella's a bit like me. He's up in your face. He's energetic. He's got everyone going. Oh, I love it. Yeah, 100%. No, you've got that right. I think that's probably the biggest thing. Most people know that his poll obviously, but I think in a good way, he's been very good. Obviously, you've seen we've got nine new players this year, the program. So it's a very different look at the team and he's just come in pretty much with an open mind and sort of pretty much taken on all our skiers and attributes and stuff. And he's just got the momentum to sort of bring us into it. And I think for him, it was obviously he's excited after every win, but I think you could just tell that was pretty incredible for him to get the win over the old side. And I think he would have taken a lot of pride, shaking great hands up, but getting coming away with the win. You got your hand to a fair bit of football. That was good for your midfielders. You might show that hour on the end of it. Yeah, no, it was nice. I finally found a bit of form. My body was in the rocks. I was good. And I tried to pride myself on getting the mids first use. So it was nice to get a few more. He'd have to advance in. I clearance numbers and that's

5:08not so much. Yeah, I love it. I love it. I wouldn't have happened to the goals. I still tell you, Chalton was very busy, but caused one of the biggest fracas. I think off scene in I fell W. What was going on there? People going in and out of it. Yeah, I think you can you can see the rivalry really turns up the heat a little bit between some of the girls and and can't probably go on the back end of a good 50 meter penalty, which finished in a goal. And yes, he had an incredible game. Her hunt around the footy and just ability to get forward and impact as well. And the forward line was incredible. And little name Kelly always enjoy watching her play. Just always busy. Always in and around. I love it. I was going to say, yes, he's been in really good form last couple weeks. Although I think this used to did still the show from a little bit. And that last minute of the game, we sort of pushed it pushed back as the plus one. And you would have seen a bit of media around her with that sort of a goal-shading mark in that back one. Right. Right. Right.

6:09One second ago that mark and it really just shielded the game for us. So yeah, I think she took a bit of credit for the game on that one. Great. We didn't even pay anything for Grace. Agen. Did we mob over there, Richmond and Melbourne? They let it walk away. I mean, who's the clown? I know. We got on the end of a very handy trade, I think, for that one. She's doing very well for us. Obviously, spend a lot of time with forward line first couple games and then ended the last quarter, last week in the mids. And then obviously ran through down the weekend. Yeah, I think people underestimate the experience she's got. And yes, she's been such a handy decent beside this year. You're ridiculous. They let her go. But it's our game. She was fantastic. So freeo this week and only they also three and three. Where to from here? How do we bait them? Well, it's probably literally a bit of a repeat battle for us. It's it starts with the midfield. They've obviously got very handy rock and mim shulman and a very handy midfield group. So I think the biggest thing again will be that that contests and clearance numbers again. So I've

7:09some really just got to put our head down again and get the work done. But also then yeah, hopefully get some good use to our forwards. I think that'll help us get the job done. Fantastic.
