So extremely pleasant. The fear is from my little brother, you start encroaching and take over the acres over the years. You're a hustler. So we can start. So you know him? No, no, we'll both attack that together as a sort of a tight family unit.

2:01Classic. I mean, we've got probably the shortest favorite, a reckoning brown line history in Nick Deikos. Is it a foregone conclusion? Well, it is if you believe the bookmakers and the foreman less than those that do all of the work, but North Melbourne were a dollar one on the weekend and got beaten by Hawthorne and the AFLW. We've all been on things that enter the commerce companies. The only difference for this is Timmy. The race has been run. It's not as if you expect North Melbourne to be Hawthorne and the AFLW. They've got to go and do it. He's played 22 of 23 matches. He's been in unbelievable for me. He's won every award so far. Coaches say the best, the plays say the best. He's won the coaches by a record margin. Every statistical part of his game holds up. I reckon he's already unlucky so far in his four seasons that he hasn't won or two. He broke the record two years ago by two and lost by seven because Kripper just happened to break it by nine. So you know, in that round last year, I would think over indexed the little on people's expectations when Nick had 32 votes. I think he wins. I think he wins pretty well.

3:06I think that that's sort of part of the video tonight. The race has been run. All it's left now is for the sort of a reveal. I hope it's not a disappointing night for him. I just think it would be air out of the room stuff. If he doesn't win, I think there's only two that can probably run him down. Marcus Bond and Pellie and Bailey Smith. Yeah, Bond's already been twice a runner up and Bailey was third last year. Yeah, I don't know if he's run there at a time, but I'd love to see the Bond win one. I think he's been good enough. No doubt. Just with the the the favourite, I heard no fellow once. He said, you know, there's no such thing as a certainty. He said there was once, but it got beat and that was the best line of it. So I think it's still open. There's no doubt about that. I'm the first year too with the umpires. Do you expect that to make much of a change for the point? Yeah, to viewing the stats. Well, I don't, the only area that I would think that they clean up is, you know, maybe there's some, yeah, I went on commentating again. I find it very

4:09hard to tell you who's been best. You're so sort of focused and ingrained in what you're doing. I just think it just allows them to be more certain, but there's a couple of things in last few years that have happened where I think if there were numbers, there's no way that happens. Matt Raubert three votes last year. I think he had 16 possessions and they lost about 50. I think if you went through that game again and particularly when you looked at the numbers, you go, we can't give three votes with 16, but then equally so. And as I went in, Miller, when he had before goals against the D's and had 43 and did things that no one thought possible, there's no way you give Jack Viny the three when you're actually in the cold harder day. Look at it. So I think it just allows some more accuracy and certainty as opposed to, if you and I and Timmy umpire the game and then just got thrown into a room with nothing, it's the much harder scenario. I agree with that. Absolutely. And your preparation, Hayme, we're always fascinated about the players, but there's a lot of work that goes into hosting it so successfully. What does your lead up look like? I try and speak to all the players a lot. What's happened over there? I started doing this in 19

5:12when that five one you sort of go and have coffees and talk and walk through their lives so that if they do get up there, you're able to showcase to them and to their families and to their fans their best them. That makes any sense. That's a terrible sentence and those that educate the very very disappointed. So really all you're trying to do is put you know put a great offering of them out there. They all know what's happened on the ground and all we're trying to do now is trying tell their story. I mean next story's been followed for so long. He's son of Peter, brother of Josh and we all knew that he was going to be top pick and take and father son when he's about 10. So what we're trying to do is unravel you know what was the weight of the day cost name. What did you do at Graithon Park after school every day? Why are you such a good left footer? 9:17iron yeah and then they've got the mark and dollar of the year which is a huge part of the season and everyone you know from every age is out in the park trying to do both yeah so those two are big elements and I think you know when we're all watching it going up there was no incredible round by round highlights packages yeah it was all pretty pretty vanilla mid on mid off but all broadcasts have developed so much you're watching the F1 now you feel like you're driving you know you're watching this trade in open you feel like you're almost the umpire time so the broadcast ever have developed they've had to because for all the reasons we were talking about earlier people got so many options with their time now you know if you don't hold their attention and make it really compelling ongoing Netflix and you know second season of the gentleman and see whether or not um the brother-in-law he killed the wife and the plane gets killed by the brother you know there's lots of stuff to watch well when was the last time there was such a clear cut favorite home was it swan 2010 the two the two hottest price faves with three dusty and 17 with a dollar four

12:28most remote remarkable goal i came out of the ad break and they replayed it and said you know they found a lever i said the honest truth is when he lined up for that i put out a snowflakes jump in hell he kicked the goll made it for me in the catch lead by me he can always sort of get him in but with the most difficult i've ever had a guy said get cathedral ranges in he was up playing golf and i said my can't get cathedral ranges sound like an absolute yeah and i was thinking about it it was early this year and the pies and the blues were really tight it was like half time i three quarter time i came back so this is everything you hope for 90 000 blues and the pies you know a few points in it the emotion in the cathedral ranges from anxious to hopeful and no one knows how this one ends i just said cathedral ranges that in the venue i just said the emotion in the cathedral ranges from so you can always get in and and my daughter on the weekend said ice magic i said no it's too big a game for us this year that is good well done well done what do you want tonight what is your work can you get mount pleasant in home
