INTER MIAMI BLOWS IT LATE! Two Huge Points Dropped vs Atlanta | Postgame Reaction
About this episode
This one feels like a loss.
Inter Miami had an opportunity to pick up valuable points in the Supporters’ Shield race, but a late Atlanta United equalizer turned what looked like three points into a frustrating 2-2 draw.
On this episode of Battered Herons, we’re breaking down everything that happened and trying to figure out how Miami allowed another opportunity to slip away.
After finally ending their five-match winless streak with a dominant 7-1 victory over Montréal, this was supposed to be an opportunity to build momentum.
Instead, Miami dropped two huge points.
We’ll discuss what went right, what went wrong, the decisions that changed the match, Miami’s inability to close it out and whether some of the same concerns we’ve been talking about all season showed up again when it mattered most.
And with every point becoming increasingly important in the chase for the Supporters’ Shield, how costly could this draw eventually become?
Inter Miami had the lead.
Inter Miami had the opportunity.
And they let it get away.

Dan, it's a back. Welcome everybody to episode 577 of The Battered Herons Podcast. I am your host Dan, you're going on alongside me as always the KBD. How are you two weeks? Aside note from this episode from this game, episode 577 couldn't sound any longer. And it feels like 577 episodes have happened. That's a lot. I feel like 577 have happened just this week. I feel like we've been on here a lot. Shout out to, oh we got a couple of slams here. Shout out to Mr. Krabs saying, em, Bolo should have been an Olympic diver. And then a $5 slammer jammer behind them saying the Lume and saying, can we just get rid of it, that bummed the Rame? I also miss what happened to Soviti. Oh man, what a tragedy. What happened to Soviti? Came back to early. Came back to early.
Yeah. And that's what happens when you make the changes you made last week and you rush players. And now he's going to be out for like another month because came back to early. And I guess we'll go over that when we get to it. Yeah, but as soon as he grabbed his shoulder. And then he, he, he, he, he got motion to the, to the training staff. Figo, semisalio, semisalio. Yeah, no, that sucks. Brutal, bro, brutal. And the rest is the kind of way they rush them back because we don't have anybody else. Exactly. Yes. And, and that's the problem, right? I mean, we'll get to it, I guess, when we get to the moment that we're going to talk about, you know, some of the impact on some of the players, but this was just, this is, that's going to hurt us. Yeah, not interested to get into some of these players too because I see some people are saying, Kaisa was garbage.
I say they'll had some, some bad moments. But when he was playing left back, I thought he was doing a great job in that first half. A great job. And the first half on, I mean, yes. What was he doing? I didn't even notice him first half. Exactly. He was controlling the ball. He was controlling the ball. Exactly. You know, he was coming down that last time. He was doing good. I thought he was doing one of the first half as soon as he could have messed it up. He's not about it. Okay. No, as soon as they put Muda, I left back. Right. And they move and they move. I say, look, I say that was doing what I left back. Right? All of the sudden, he hasn't been doing good. He was okay. Okay. He was okay. I thought he was good. You think he's okay. As soon as he moved to center back and Muda moved to left back, all of a sudden, you started noticing that left side. Did you notice it in the first half? In the first half, all I noticed was Kaisato did a lot of nothing and a lot of nothing happened on Kaisato's side. That's what I noticed.
A lot of nothing, whatever. Like, it's one of those games that he had that where it's like, okay, I mean, you didn't play super fantastic. You weren't, he was not good at left back. You want to know who's good at left back? People that do good things. You know what? Kaisato was playing left back. In my understanding, he doesn't even hit, not even his natural position. I thought he played well there. I was 18. And he just got benched for over a month and I told you, was it one of the shows that we had a guest on. I forgot who it was, but I was telling you, whenever Kaisato comes back, he's going to play timid because he's going to be overthinking messing up because last time he messed up, he got benched. So all things considered, I have to be benched for a month. I'm sure being in his own head for trying not to mess up. I thought he played a good first half. He also made a huge mistake in the second half. Yes. I mean, it was, and it was just in a span of 30 seconds. He made two mistakes. He gave the ball away and then he, then he drew the penalty on him.
Look again, I, I'm not going to tell you, Kaisato, he's not going to be a standout, spoiler alert. He's not going to be a standout and he's not going to be a kept in a player either. He was just as made as made can get. I'm telling you, I look non-existent. This is me just assuming, right? Just me trying to think of the mental part of this, have to be in benched. He got to play two games after the second when he got benched and they were playing people that, they shouldn't be playing. I'll go and like move, move, I see it. Kaisamiro back there. Like when he saw that, I was happening. I'm sure he was in his own head. Finally gets a chance. I'm sure he's thinking like, let me mess up. I thought he played a good first half. Okay, fine. So there goes your, your Kaisato breakdown, guys. I mean, I want to say more about Kaisato because I do think that talking about the left back for today is a very important conversation that I think we should be having. But because somebody needs to play that position.
You know, you can't count on Raheon. So it's going to be somebody else. And maybe it's going to be Kaisato. That's kind of an awful thing. Kind of. It's really bad. So obviously I'm here right after the game. I didn't go to the game. I was really excited about going to today's game because I haven't been there in like a month. And then the way the weather was all week, I kind of felt like Saturday's party going to be a mess. And then when I saw the forecast for Saturday, I was like, you know what? I'm not going to go over there. I got a babysitter and I'm who knows how long it is. I'm going to be out there because who knows how long it's going to be played. I'm glad that I ended up selling my tickets because that drained the lay. Those things are brutal. Game started at what? 905, 9010. Yeah, like 90. Like Adi saying, Kaisamito more goals than bit that I'm in. I think both ways. For us and against us. For us and against us.
Okay. I mean, that should have been a second own goal. If Shane Claire doesn't stop it. Yeah. You know what? This is an actual good one. But I feel like Mr. Kaisamito saying we should have a kept an eye of the match other than Better-Amie. Even though like life long, that's been a game this far. I think that'll be forever again. At least for a while. Yeah. But Better-Am is going to get there. Better-Am is going to get there. He might. Now, as far as the game goes, I mean, usually we'd like to start off with that. Let's talk big picture first. Because. Because Nashville would drop points to NYCFC yesterday. We're 10 points behind Nashville. If you want to catch up to them, you need to take advantage of situations like this. They drop points and you're playing against one of the worst teams, my less. If they would have won today, that the 10 point gap goes to eight. Now Nashville plays against Toronto mid-a-week.
We play against Chicago. So who knows what happens there. But hypersetics, it stays both the win to wash fine. So it's eight points going into the matchup against Nashville next week. If you could beat Nashville, all of a sudden it goes down to five points. And then you're cooking. Because all you need is one slip up, you win again, and all of a sudden you're back in it. Yeah. But today, blue are huge chance. Like I feel like this was. This was huge. The chance for the supporters shield just shrunk that much more. And not that I care about the shield, but I do care about home field advantage. And I think that that, that was a huge role today. Well, and the worst part is to be perfectly honest is if there's a team, if there's anybody you're jotting down in the calendar to beat, to be, to count a dub, it's Atlanta, right? Like Atlanta's one of those teams. I mean, Montreal, Atlanta and Sporting KC, I think those are the three teams that you just like, you look at them and you're like, these two teams are really bad. You should beat them. Yeah. But Atlanta's always a pain.
I'm telling you Atlanta and NYCFC are into my image. Kryptonite. One way or another, we blow it against those two teams. Well, but I'm just saying like in terms of like future games, like I'm just looking at the schedule, right? And Atlanta would be a team where I would say we're getting the dub DC United, another dub, another Atlanta game in October, another dub, right? Rebels, we destroy them every time we play them. Another dub. Like those are games that you walk away looking at the schedule and you're like, these need to be a guarantee three. So there's that for you. And Mr. Krabs, you have to stop paying attention to those people. They don't walk Miami. They don't watch. They don't know what's going on. Don't even take them seriously at this point. And for those on audio, Mr. Krabs said, I'm a less fancy. Miami are favored by the reps. Yeah, they got two BS penalties. I mean, I don't know if there were BS. Maybe the first one was kind of soft. Let me tell you, there was a big penalty. There was a big foul. Well, you know, and I will tell you that there was a penalty that I think should have
at least been looked at the way, um, bright got tackled inside the box. Oh, yes. Those last two minutes, I can't believe you didn't even look at it. Yeah, at this referee, I got to tell you this referee is in my opinion, the worst referee in the entire world. I don't like criticism. It's referees because both teams are always he is the worst. I hope you watch podcasts referee guy. You're the fucking worst. He looks like the kind they're all bad. He looks like the kind of guy that he is the worst. Like he's a teacher in a in a school and he's the worst teacher ever. Gives out f skips out warnings, gives out written warnings. I mean, he does it for your mother. No, yeah, you know what? I guess he does his job. But this guy is the worst using the cards to set an example. Those are the type of teachers I want to hire. Do your job. I like to look. I wanted to be a teacher. I wouldn't have been that guy.
You would have been one of the bad teachers. I wouldn't have been a bad teacher. I just wouldn't be a, you're working down the hallway with you. You mean to me, to me, to me. But that's the problem because if you want to be the fun teacher, you make it life very difficult for the other teachers that actually keep structure. I guess you want to be the friend. I want to be the cool teacher. I want to be a friend. But then you make it life difficult for everybody else that actually wants to run a structure class. Well, then you know what? Model your life behind this referee and you will live the way that those people should live, which is awful. Worst referee I've ever seen in my life. All right. So one other thing before we get what I'll run down the game. You know, actually when I was a teacher, Chris actually came and he, he said in some of my classes. Yeah. Yes. Fun fact. One other thing I noticed during this game before he gets the run down, how often Messi was dropping far back. Like he was dropping deep. To pick up the ball and create for others that first goal.
He was basically a third center back. Yes. Yes. Yes. He picked up that ball and he delivered that beautiful ball down to the, to go beyond that left side. But I was noticing that they're putting a lot on Messi's. Yeah. I think that's a bit. He's probably out for the, yeah. So the season, I wouldn't be surprised. Oh my goodness. If this is like true, if this is true, then Rekelman, funny at the spot. It might be over. No, Rekel, we have to hope that Rekelman's good. So we're willing to start so that the early take him out to cry, Oh chamber, having blow a shoulder out within a 30 minute span. And that's it. The season's over and Rekelman is going to, is going to save us. I didn't say he's going to save us, but who else are you going to, the transfer window is officially closed, Chris. It's officially closed. We need to do a poll about, I say, though, we need to do a poll about, I say, though, well, what do we get into it?
But, um, it's a, the transfer window is closed. We got who we got. I end this up for the year. Silvety is probably out for the year. So you're two starting wingers during your championship run or out. You're left back from last year's championship team, Jordiaba out. Your defensive midfielder from the championship team last year. Guess what? He's out. One of your starting center backs from that championship team. He is out. Missing a lot of pieces. Uh, David, David Han is saying season done, CCC leaks, club supporters, just counting everything out. Am I still saying free agent? Who has a free agent right now? If you're a free agent, you're probably not worth getting. Yeah, for sure. I mean, maybe there's somebody that I can't think of, but if you're a free agent, I would assume you're not worth getting. Listen, if the reporters can just pepper in as many questions about me, Kyle,
as possible, that would be fantastic. Uh, because he's literally the only shining grace that can come from the Baptist health roster. Shout out to Booneboy. Uh, no, I wanted to be there today, but when I saw the weather, I was like, I can't. Okay. Cause yeah, I was like, I don't know what time I'm going to go and pick up my kids. Uh, so I, I, I predicted, uh, whether the lay and I'm glad that I didn't end up going. I'll be there next week though. My birthday. My, my, my V says Kai Kamar is available, Danny. I would love him. I would love him on this. You know what you have right now? This team has two strikers playing striker and left wing and they're interchanging, right? Like sometimes you see swarves down the left flank. Sometimes you see Berthiram is on the left flank because what both are non-affectives on that left side. They're both decent when they're down the middle of the pitch or in the box. Yeah. You can just get what Kai Kamar to do.
What you're going to put them out there also? Just 50 year old legs. You know what he does? He goes and you know what we need goals. Yes, he goes. Are you sure about that? Does Kai Kamar go? I'm going to put that as a poll, guys. After people in here don't even know who Kai Kamar is. All right. So, um, I guess I'll let you go through, um, to the starting lineup. Yeah, I mean, I'll go through it. We got Daines St. Claire playing at the goalkeeper position. At right back, you got Ian Frey along with Maxi Falcone and, uh, and then you had Kassamiro playing center back alongside with him. And then Kai Seydo makes his return at the left back position, filling in for where no Allen was. Then you have the midfield with Rodrigo the Paul and, uh, and, uh, bright playing the double pivot with Alaska, Sagovia there as well. And then on your left side, yeah, but that I'm at right side messy in the top.
You have Luis Suarez. What do you think about the lineup when you saw it? But when I saw it, I was like, were they about to go three in the back? Because I thought maybe they're going to go Kai Seydo, Kassamiro Falcone, and then they were going to play Sagovia as like a left wingback. I wasn't. I, I, I didn't think it was going to be five in the back. And there's the poll, guys, I need assistance with this. Okay. I didn't think it was going to be five in the back with the way that it looked and was structured. The only way that I thought maybe it would have been a five in the back is if maybe you have like a bright dropping back with a Kassamiro back there. Um, but I didn't anticipate that. And on top of that, in reality, I thought with the back four and look, Kassamiro's that skates like in comparison to the rest of the, the, the back line. He's pretty fast. So you know what? I would take, I, I guess it's either him or Abadilla Reeda, right?
Yeah. I mean, that's the only thing. I think we're going to start seeing Kassamiro out there. The problem is keeping him out there, right? Because moving him to center back, that's why he had his, his issue. Well, you're not going to put Falco in there. You're not going to put, you can't play Kassamiro back there. No, but I don't know about that. We can talk about that later. I'm just speaking in the left back position. Okay. You know, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You started the show by Kaysale, it was horrible. And you're going to say Falco wasn't? I mean, I'm not going to tell you he wasn't horrible. But what I can tell you is, is that Kaysale played more of an important position. Any kind of did nothing. Falco and played the same kind of game that Kaysale had. He was an unnoticeable also. And he got it early yellow card. So I kind of screwed him over. Okay. What?
That's it. You're just going to leave me hanging there. I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't. That's it. If you're going to, if you got to come in here and kill Kaysale, the 18 year old that was bench for a month and finally got his third professional game, third professional game in his career. He plays, plays left back for the first time and then gets moved to center back in the second half. And then you're going to kill him. Yes, he made a mistake, but you're going to kill him. And he's going to tell me if I could wasn't that bad. You know, you, you know what, Danny? I'm going to start this. I'm going to start this off by saying I wasn't killing him. He was just a ghost. But you know what? Now doubling down. Guess what? Kaysale did fucking terrible. You know who also played left back at his age? Noah Allen. You know who's our best defender now and back then starting at 18. Noah Allen. No, Adam, let's back. No, it wasn't, it wasn't great at 18 when he was playing left back. He was pretty good. No, he didn't even start. You know what? Yes, he did. If I look back when he was 18, I guarantee we started at some point.
At some point, yeah, a couple of games, maybe, but he didn't last. Okay. Well, guess what? This guy, he's a loser. Diane. And I think I think Falcone was taking out way before because he got a yellow card. Yeah, he got a yellow card. It's because of the yellow card. Well, I mean, he was in danger. He's a dangerous player. You don't want to know how to play him. You know what? Good players can play on a yellow. You know who can't play on a yellow? Falcon. All I know is that. Falcone was taking out and they put in shitty ass mood. Diane. Look, if circus phone with a great comment, Falcone is great at getting under people's skin too bad. It's my skin. I'm going to stop the poll here. Apparently, that was good circus phone. Apparently, only 75% say that no, Kai Kamaroud does not goals. 25% says, yes, he goes.
I wish you would have put how many of you know who Kai Kamaroud is because I'm sure that the majority would be like, no, I don't. Yeah. So that was the starting lineup. I thought it was whatever because you can't put anybody else at left back unless it's a body of radar. And I don't think that they're going to be willing to drop about the air. That's so swiftly at that position, even though to be fair, he's probably. I probably would have put him at left back. And I would have played Kai Seito over Falcone. That's what I would have done. But you can't you can't put like two 18 19 years out there either. Why not? I want speed back there. Yeah. But the other can book it. But no, but they're both so raw. Whatever. I mean, what other left look I'm looking, I'm looking at the rest of the roster. Oh, you're not going to find it. Like this is a chance that Kai Seito doesn't start next week. If they give albeda or how do you pronounce the name?
Abadiya. Abadiya. Abadiya. All right. So if they give albeda the the opportunity, like I say, the one star because I can't imagine that it's going to start to 18 years. Maybe if they were like 18 years, they're looking really good. Like a new Pierre, for example, Philadelphia. He's 18, but he's looking like like they're going to call him up already for the US. And that's what he's like. He's bawling. But neither one of these have necessarily looked like that in the little bit that we watched them. So I doubt that they start both of them at the same time. So if they give them the chance, then you can see that I probably won't start. So that was, and let me tell you something, Ed Bartow. It doesn't matter if he retired. You call him up today on his phone and say, Hey, complete for it. Miami, he's coming over here in the quickest plane possible. Okay. That's your starting line of Danny. Usually we usually talk about the vibes, but the vibes were is that the game took an hour and 40 minutes to start because of the rain. So that was the vibes. Shout out to Florida that Danny. Now I know how and why those porches behind you can't be.
I'm guessing you're talking about these back here. So I'm assuming you started following my wife. So shout out to you. Appreciate that. But anybody that hasn't, my wife has a Art social media page. Yeah, there you go. Social media page where she, she puts all the stuff. Mama, she is the art designer for our store and all that stuff. So if you're going to want to follow her, yeah, they're granada on YouTube and YouTube. Yeah, she actually is. It's awesome. But Instagram and TikTok. So I put that through a follow, throw us up. Check her out, like her stuff, pass it around. So that cure cool right there. And Chandler thing, I wouldn't be surprised that Casamito is to spend the next game because of yellow cards. See how many he has. Well, and then you know, you, you knew worse or on one worse says you guys know when the new coach will join. Nope. I think he's working on getting the visa.
And why are we talking about Camara, Jack Cardass because we got fucking nobody. Chris. That's why. Well, it's not because of me. It's not because of me. Okay. So that's your starting lineup. We spoke a little bit about that. I guess maybe I should go through the rundown in terms of like the line up right after. Okay. Now, like I said, Maxi Falcone getting under people's skin. He's the first yellow card of the game. And you know what I, before we get to kind of talking about the game, because I was just about to get into the Casamito goal. I thought it was really nice to see Data and Messi kind of embraced before the game. I don't know what it is. This guy Hoyos. I don't see him with the same sort of like feels with Messi as I do with Data and Messi. Is that fair to say?
And that's because I'm a Hoyos. This is fucking Godfather. No, no, I don't think that at all. Because I mean, my tablet just died. But I got to see right before he died. Casamito has three yellow cards. But if a case anybody's wondering, Yannick Brey has four, Falcone has four, but they're both next yellow card. They get to spend the free game. And I think I wasn't able to see because they died right when I saw a blue jersey. I think that it showed that St. Claire has four yellow cards. Do you want to pick up another? You will pick up another yellow and your boy has to start. Might be saying Robert Taylor scored today speaking of wingers that we need. Listen, Robbie Taylor is the truth. So yeah, I just before I wanted to talk about the game, I wanted to say that I liked the moment with Data and
Messi. That was really nice in the beginning of the game. What do you mean? What? What? What? What do you mean who cares? That's a very human friend, you know, like like compassionate, you know, interaction there. I found that a little refreshing and kind of humanized the whole Messi and Data relationship. No, no, it does nothing for you. You have no soul. You have no heart. If they were to play against the team that has my Serrano as a coach, I'm sure you'd go hug them also. I don't think so. Not that kind of embrace. I don't think so. I don't think so. I think you're wrong. I think I think Data is a better friend with Messi than RDP is a better friend with Messi. And he's like 30 years old more, 30 more years older. And yes, you know what? 30 years. So it's 30 years older. Yes, I think I said that. I don't know.
And real quick, what happens? Salvatia, it looks like his shoulder popped back out. Yes. People are speculating that his season is over. And look, Rico, the Rico de la Vegas thing, Tata Ramon was suars after the game as well. I saw that before suaris spit on him. I didn't see that. Why? What? Well, you know, who didn't have a moment with Tata? RDP because RDP is jealous that Tata's a better friend with Messi than he is. RDP has no relationship with Tata. Well, I mean, he should, but he doesn't because RDP is fucking why would he? He never coach. Bonds. It doesn't matter. Okay. Fucking buns. All right. You're all right. That would just bifle talk again. So Casamiro receives a corner at the 32nd minute. Absolutely dunks on his defend. Absolutely. And I fucking hate this guy. I think we're best friends. Fuck that guy. I'd like to, I'd like to think so.
You see, but that's the thing. I have a heart. Danny, Danny here does not have a chorus on. Okay, guys. So Casamiro dunks on in Atlanta defender. I forgot who it was, but absolutely heads it into the back of the net, which was a great pass by Messi. And you know what? My son was talking about Casamiro and talking shit because he scored. I'm like, finally, this guy is doing what he's supposed to be doing. Scoring headers like we were expecting. Well, I told you that on set pieces, he would be dangerous. That's two. Yeah. Now that was in the last last two games, right? You're the last week in this game. Yes. So we knew that that was a possibility. And he also has like, he's not scared. Like Jean-Mott, that's how he's not scared to kick it from outside the box. He's just never in that area because they haven't played so far back. At the center back, I'm not a fan. I told you I was in a fan from the start. Yeah. I'm not a fan of him being a single pivot either, playing at defensive midfielder. I think he should play that sigovia role.
I think that that's where he would benefit us the best. And it looks like we're going to be playing him out of position the whole, the rest of the season. So I don't know how this is going to go because. Like I've said from the jump, even when it was a rumor, this is stupid signing. Not because he's a bad player, but because he doesn't fit this team right now. Well, it's just because there's nothing like, yeah, like you said, he doesn't fit the team. We don't have a need necessarily in the midfield. At what? Did you think he was bad? No, where did this come from? I caught a Nick just both come storming right in with sigovia. It's just which blades. Interesting. I wasn't expecting that. I did not expect to go be to catch trace today. Wow. And then look, Florida, that is saying, so go be out of beautiful assists today, dude. I thought you played pretty well. Yeah. And Sean is saying, Casimir needs to cut the stupid fouls, but at center back, he's been great. He's calm down the defense.
Well, I'm sure we can have that conversation in a couple minutes for now. So right now, we'll get to it in the 35th minute. We have Miguel Amirón, who gets a goal. Now the way that this occurs is there's a cross made before the cross. Was that the Yanic break giveaway? I believe so because the second giveaway, if I'm not mistaken, was a kaisato giveaway, no? Yeah. Yeah, the second one was for sure. I say though. Yeah. I think Yanic break gave the ball away. He gifted it and that's what was started the possession. It was, it was, what's this guy? Sanchez that started booking it. Yeah, Cooper Sanchez from the right side. He crossed it in sort of right in front of the goalkeeper and Casimiro found himself in the same situation he did very similarly earlier in the season. Yeah. Slides, I don't know what it is. If he doesn't have the right technique on this, on this Sliding, Sliding,
right. I don't get it, dude. Is there like a technique or something about that? Basically, it's why. My last moves came on here. So I just want to pop in here and say Chris has some teacher trauma. He always making, he's always making teacher analogies, comparisons from things he hates. I'm not going to get into details of the first day I ever met Chris. There's a story there that maybe one day will tell because he was. Members only. He was an interesting individual in school. I met him in the morning and yeah, I wanted to be a teacher. I don't know why. What do you mean why? I'd be a great teacher, Danny. You were a horrible student. I got better. Okay, go on with the room. So yeah, who percent plays the ball in? Yes. He ends up playing the ball in. You got Casimir who doesn't know how to slide save.
And then it hits off of the chest or the arms of St. Claire and goes straight into the legs of Amirom, who ends up just getting it right into the goal. Yeah. No. I don't know. It looked almost identical to the Columbus one. Yeah. I thought they'd think that a good job stopping it because he was he was going to defend the cross. And then he got to flick then he was able to get down and block it. But unfortunately, Amirom was kind of just treading by himself and he just got the quick grip on. For somebody asked if that was on on Casimir or St. Claire, I was all 100% on Casimir. Yeah. Because St. Claire saved the first one. He just couldn't get the second one. And Amirom gets it. So it was rough. Shout out to you. So it was a rough way to give up a goal because that first half I thought like Atlanta didn't have many chances. And Miami didn't need it to be honest with you. Shout out to Mass Gating Guy.
Just drive by. Atlanta United. All good. So I feel like Atlanta, like I didn't have said it a bunch of times this week at Atlanta and NYCFC are the only two teams that I feel like can openly talk to you to us. Just for some reason they have our number so often. Even though we beat NYCFC in the playoffs last year, but just it feels like they beat us so often or just just still draws in Atlanta. It does the same crap. And Nashville wants to say that. And Nashville never beats us. They beat us finally. Right. Last month. They finally beat us. But before they never beat us, even in the CCC, they eliminated us. But there were two draws. But Atlanta and NYCFC are a pain in the ass to enter Miami. Now we end up getting on later into the game and towards the end of the first half. We have Louis Suarez that gets, which by the way, Nick says you guys may have stopped watching. But say, go be it was bad. Then I had a horrible giveaway in this play. He had an assist. I don't know what giveaway you're talking about tonight. He had an assist directly to Louis Suarez with a great touch to his left.
And then he scores the right past the goalkeeper, mask getting guy just drive by. Thanks us and state exit stage left. Keep getting them gains. Yes. What I Well, and it goes back to what I was telling you about Messi. Because and that play was started by Messi in our own half. He was dropping back to pick up the ball and start the attack from our own half often. Yeah. I'm surprised that he did it as often as he did. And he starts and he delivers a beautiful ball to say go be on the left side. So in to go be had a beautiful first touch. And he sees that he's by himself basically. So he has the quick hold up. He chops it to his right. And he holds the ball just slightly enough to let to give Suarez a chance to open his hips and receive the ball. And Suarez like the past was pinpoint perfect. Suarez gets it was it one or two touches and then finishes like that was a thing of beauty from Messi from from Segovia and from Luis Suarez. Great job. That was a that was just a beautiful play altogether.
And let me tell you guys, I think that Messi likes playing with Segovia more than a lot of you probably would imagine. And we saw that I think the three of them come so well. Yes. They all three of them link up very well. Like bet that I'm is a fucking square in a round. Fucking bad man. Yeah. So bad. Like he just fucked up that whole deal. Yeah. Yeah. At one point it was funny. And he's just it's not even funny anymore. He's just really effing bad. He should have been given a red card for today. The foul that he did with the two people that he kind of shouldered airborne. That's dangerous. Like and you and I played sports in basketball before like when you run into someone while they're airborne. That's dangerous. And he ran into two people. I think he was given a yellow card, but I don't know what the rules are like in that specific situation. He should have been kicked out the fucking game. He should be kicked out of this league.
Like he is just pisses me off that he's here. Hey, pisses me off so much that we wanted the CCC so bad. And we thought like we just need to fill this DP. But like if you didn't fill it up, there's a chance. I don't know if it would have happened, but there's a chance that we have little endowski right now. There's a chance that we have Griezmann right now. Like there was a chance to get some of these guys who would have waited for the summer. But because like no, no, we got to win the CCC and in order to win the CCC, we got to get somebody from legal max because nobody else is available right now. Horrible decision. We came on here and I said this is a horrible decision. This is a panic move because they want to make sure that they have all three DPS spots filled and it has been a horrible decision. Who's going to ask in one of these press conferences? Who's making these decisions? Is it Hoyos? Is it Hoyos? I don't think anybody has clearly said like this is the person that's signing these players because whoever it is, we need to reevaluate because you're doing a horrible job. Whoever it is, I'm looking at you're doing a horrible job. But it's a horrible job. Casemito, that's cute, horrible signing.
Not because it's a horrible player, but he's a horrible player for this team at the moment. Galarza, you know what? Maybe they'll figure out where to play him at the moment. I don't see it. Maybe Galma, maybe it ends up working out and I said, Betty's injured and I end this off for the year. So maybe we'll find the use for him, but we don't know yet. So many bad signings. And you have people that want to come play with Messi. Like you have your pick of the litter for the most part in South America and a lot of places. And this is what we're doing. We're getting better than I may. And you know what really pisses me off that at some point, there was a report that said that Messi called them personally. I really hope that it wasn't Messi that really requested this and called them personally. I don't believe it. I don't believe that either. And I do think I think out of all the reporters, I think of I'm not mistaken. Franco Penizo is the only one that's been confronting and asking who are the people making decisions in the back office. But nobody ever wants to answer it.
And they never answer. I mean, Hoyos, listen, any of you guys follow Inter Miami CF burner account? You have to give him a follow. If you follow him, he has a post that I thought was just class. He said that Guillermo Hoyos was able to coach this team and do press conferences and never answer a question his entire tenure. And he would just call up on his random tangents. Yes. And look, I love Jesus like the rest of them. But at the same time, like, come on, dude, we're talking about because he likes to talk about a lot of religious stuff. And make religious references. Yes, which is okay. I mean, that's fine. Like I said, I love Jesus like the rest of us. But I mean, at the same time, we're talking football. You got to answer some questions and you're not. And Barters said Chicago fire held Robert and Delskis discovery race. I should only nothing. I like that. I'll accept needles like we just we send like a five out of bill and say we want them and we'll get them.
Like that, that's not a problem. If Miami wanted him and he wanted to come to Miami, he would have been in Miami. But guess what? We couldn't because we had better to do that. Imagine somebody arguing that sporting Kansas City is holding Ronaldo's fucking. I mean, yes, they actually do have the list. They do have it. They actually do have it. But somebody's going to pay five bucks and get that Excel spreadsheet deleted anyway. I have a feeling that the discovery rights can be one of those things that changes when the. Because there's a lot of changes coming in the off season for those that aren't aware. There's going to be a lot of changes announced. And I don't know at one point they're going to do it, but they're going to announce it. And I have a feeling that discovery rights can be one of those things that go out of the window because. Players are going to want to come over here if they're like told what team to go to. Like no, if I come over here, I want to live in Miami. I want to live in Los Angeles. I want to live in New York, boarding Casey. You're not going to tell me that I got to go live in Casey and go play in like negative seven degree weather in February. You forgot to get it and do it. Amy is our first Danny. I hate Falcon. I'm with you Amy.
I don't like it last either. Well, that's the first half. And before we get to your favorite wish there, Amy Rodriguez with the maximum max if I'll go on substitution. I'll tell you I have time. I didn't feel particularly well because this was a close game against a team that we should have been kind of controlling. Yeah. I felt like we were. We were progressing the ball and I felt like we should have had more chances. But we converted the only two shots that we took. So I felt good. Well, okay, we haven't converted like we should have more shots. But all things considered the two shots we got we finished. So I felt good. I was like, we're going to win this game. Well, you know, my thought I thought I have time. I was like, we're going to win this game. I had I didn't think we would lose. You mentioned in the first half and a lot of people are saying the first half, Kaisato, or you mentioned it. Like I say, it all played good in the first half. Again, I want to be clear here.
He didn't play bad. He didn't play good. He just to me was a ghost. He didn't play well or bad defensively at the left back. And he wasn't pushing up. Yeah, he never pushed up. He never did. Right. No, he did. And so I noticed that sigovia was kind of like having that role for the most part. But again, he didn't do anything spectacular. Nothing stood out. I was hoping, honestly, because of his pace and because of his youth that he was going to be able to do a little bit better. But Look, he's eights in and he's traditionally been a center back. Like I don't know what other things he's done in his youth career. But if he's never really played that position, like do you really think that he's accustomed to pushing up and crossing the ball? Like he's probably never done that. They probably just told him, Hey, we're not buying right now. We need somebody out there that's left footed. I can play that left side and just defend.
And he said, I'll do it. And that's what he did. Like I I'm not going to kill him. I thought he looked good for the circumstance for who he is. And the fact that it's like his third professional game ever. In top day like that. That's why he was fine. I'll pump the brakes on looking good. The first half. I'll pump the brakes on looking good. I I'm okay with his first game. I left back of him being a ghost. You didn't do nothing particularly bad. You didn't do nothing particularly good. And that's what that from his left back position. He was progressing the ball pretty well. He has some nice passes. I think let me see. Let me see. Let me check. I'm going to check this. I'm usually doing this on my tablet. But let me do it here. So go charge your tablet. You creep. He had he had five passes into the final third. Like he was doing a decent job playing the ball out of the back. I saw two. I'll just add say five. I don't know. Okay. So after the first half is finished.
We get our half time substitution. We bring in Mura. And so my music gets into the pitch again. Oh, I didn't see that. I got in at the 46 minute. Okay. So they came out late. You know what's funny is I was thinking as I was coming up stairs. I said to myself, it would be funny if data waits in the back room as well. It would have been funny. And then he comes out after inner Miami. Like no, I do this shit. Bitch. Like that's when I was kind of anticipating. That would have been pretty cool. Yeah. I so Mura comes in. Fakon is out. Fakon had that early. Yellow card kind of affected his gameplay a little bit. Okay. You know, it's just his style. His style doesn't cater to yellow cards. Okay. So had to take him out. It was a little dangerous. Okay. I don't know what a Mura is. But and then RJ with in sort of the night.
I didn't know Chris can watch games blindfolded. Really RJ you're going to hit me with that. Hey maker. Did you like that substitution Danny? Did I like the substitution? No, I was very upset when I saw Mura coming onto the pitch. And what I thought was happening because I saw. I see it was playing well in the left back was that Frey was moving into center back. And then Mura was going to get the right side. That's what I thought was happening. And also I saw Mura on the left side. I don't know what the hell is kind of weird. But you know, I like Frey at my right back. I can't say I'm thrilled with having Mura as my left back. And Sean Kalin says blindfolded in a plastic patio chair. I used to have those, but I upgraded. Shout doctor jump man. What happened to Sylvetti? Somebody grabbed them by the shoulder and it seems like it popped out of the socket again. Looks like he will be probably out for this season is what a lot of people are speculating.
But we'll have to wait and see on the unofficial word. So later on, say govia gets subbed out. That's another sub that occurred and Shaw came in for him. Well, before that, they got to get. Oh, yeah, that's right. It was the penalty kick. You can't forget that. And Casemito again. With the fire maybe a soft foul, but still a foul inside the box. I don't like Casemito. I center back man. And they're going to try to keep pushing this round peg into a square hole because they don't know where else to put them. They don't want to take off. They go. Yeah, I'm sure because he links up well with messy and with with Suarez. So they want to make sure he keeps them out there. They're not going to bench for the Paul. They know Yennec Bright is their best defender in the midfield because Radyga the Paul. He's been playing much better this year, but not necessarily defensively. Casemito can't defend like he used to, especially against the counter. So they need right out there. So right now they're in a bind because they're forcing Casemito to play center back and not going to say it hasn't looked good.
I mean, he had a nice block at one point where it looked like somebody was going to have a sharp point blank range and he got his leg out there. But he hasn't looked good. Look him trying to intercept those those crosses. He has an own goal already this season. He almost got another one today. He has a bad foul in the box. Casemito has not looked good at center back. I'm sorry. He hasn't. Well, it ended up playing out into a foul. And then I'm going to go for the penalty. And. And he hasn't looked bad though. That's fine. But you, uh, Casemito, but you bring in Casemito and you're really looking for fine. Like we're talking about our DP talk again. You're looking for a difference maker. Now he's not a DP yet. So I guess. But like you're looking for a difference maker and he could be a difference maker. If you place his position, he can like help us in. This isn't the position for him. Yeah. I'm curious to see what happens when Mikhail comes back healthy because I can't imagine that you're going to keep Casemito back there.
We need him back, but that's going to cause us a little bit more problems than I think anticipated. Unless you want to keep the Brazilian connection back there and then have a week out, which is a third Brazilian play left back. I don't know if he can even do that. You know, but we'll have to see. So like I said, we have a penalty taken. I mean, you don't go right to the day. Dane St. Clair's left and he blocks it like a boss. Great block. And then of course, the commentary like I just can't I can't take it. So you go into the season. He had the highest percentage of penalty saved in MLS history before the season. Okay. That's fine. If Rocco had the same amount of opportunities, he'd probably be better. I just wanted to say that. I want to defend that. Shout out to Sean Calah and one more time. He's played center back at Manu and Madrid. I know I've watched him closely over the last 10 years because I've watched a lot of Madrid and I watched some Manchester United Games the last couple of years.
Those are spot starts. Like it wasn't his consistent position. Like he didn't play center back all the time. Like you also spot starts. And I want to mention something because Nick is asking that Chris just suggests the winger to play left back. That's not what I want. But I've seen some shit on this team where I've seen wingers and right midfielder. Robert Taylor is playing left back for us. Yeah. And so he played right back. Right back. This is right back. Yeah. I mean, we played on the right back. Yeah. So like it's not far fetch Nick what I'm mentioning here. So if you play a left wing back with a fast guy. You know, and this is my name is Jeff says go easy on Chris. It's it's a hundredth first week. Okay. What a great comment. I haven't heard I haven't seen my name is Jeff is so long and he just comes in and just. Bob below.
So by the way, I forgot to mention it and I don't want to forget to mention it later. That messy assist. Class of me. The 99th player messy is assisted to in his career. So the next time he assisted somebody for the first time. It'll be the hundreds player. So who's here? Who's new that he could maybe assist to. They could be kept. It has to be someone who right. Right. It'll be the hundreds player. Right. No, it can't be resource. It'll be the hundreds player. Casimir was the 99th player that he's ever assisted to. That's interesting. To imagine it's like for condom. I can. Wow. Imagine it could be a big Elme. Who else hasn't gotten an assist from me. See on this team. I'm not going to choose the defenders. Even though it could be a defender right because of a set piece. So, but yeah, just just a quick stack there that I saw today. I mean, look, Katta saying Mura, Barney saying Falcone. I mean, what a roster.
Watching Miami is painful. Yeah, it is. So we got the Miss penalty and then later on. We have a substitution at the 84th minute guys. Mateo Soveti comes in for Lewis. Are the wrong striker. Because the striker that should have gone off was Betarame. Not. Not Lewis. I imagine it's for fatigue. It's for legs, right? Because at that point, I won't go. You're trying to see the game out. So you need a leg. Correct. Yes. And that's what I was telling my son. My son said the same thing. Because we've seen Betarame. What does it give us? It gives us legs. That's what he gives us. So I kind of understood it. But as soon as they tied the game, I'm like, oh, I wish we swarves out there instead of this grub. But I'm not going to kill him for that substitution because it made sense a little bit. I get it. You want to see the game out. You need some legs to track back on defense. Whatever. Well, and look, circus was saying I don't think anyone's ever
assisted Betarame. Well, it's always like a chaos. Like a kind of, I think. I think when he's like, oh, yeah, mind to Miami, like they, they, they, they like chaos. Like that's how Betarame scores is chaos. It's like the ball is just getting ping pong around in the six-yard box. And he like taps it in at some point. Well, at the same time that Mateo Sovedi comes in is the same time that Tata goes Fafa. And Fafa comes in. And what it makes an impact. Immediately. What a coincidence. Immediately right after there is a penalty called by a pass entering in from Fafa. I say the horrible turnover. Huge. Gifted the ball. And and that penalty was if I'm, I mean, that foul, if I'm not mistaken, I think it was on on Casamero. Well, if I was on Casamero, I think it was on Casamero. Casamero. Well, if I was on Casamero or on Casamero. Casamero gave the ball away.
Want to Fafa. And then he tried to recover and cover. And Bolo. And then he's fouled when he's kind of covered him. He's reached down and grabbed him. So it was a double for Casamero. So I understand why everybody came on here. He's like, oh, my God. The guy's the worst thing of all time. Because you saw that. I'm sure you're looking at that. And you're like, wow, two horrible moments in a span of like 15 seconds. So I get it. Like there was a moment Fafa was on our DP. I didn't even. It was about that. I thought I didn't even think about that. Sean. No, Fafa used to get into it with Lee Suarez a lot. But Lee Suarez already was off the pitch when, when Fafa came in. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I want to see Suarez and Fafa go back and forth verbally on the pitch last year. Yes. Yeah. Well, and Bolo ends up getting his debut goal, I think, with Atlanta, right? I mean, yes, it was his first game with Atlanta. He had his debut and he scored his first goal. Which, let me tell you, yeah, a first game for Mbolo.
Doesn't look too bad, but like, he had a lot of opportunities. Yeah, a lot of opportunities. Yeah, I don't know how to feel about him. And then the biggest thing that happens is 10 minutes after getting sub-din. Mateo Soveti makes a contact. But then with the ball, the defender pulls on his shirt and pulls on his elbow on his shoulder. And immediately turns around, puts his hand up and he's like, I'm cooked. I'm cooked. Yeah, you could read his lips. You could see he's told the trainers and miss Alio. My shoulder came out. Yeah, that's he knew it immediately. And that's a shame because then the defender started looking like, oh shit. And the worst part is is like, you could see Mateo Soveti really wanting to get into it. And usually with a shoulder injury, I imagine you have some hesitation.
And wait, hold on, Sean is saying there was no pulling. I saw pulling. At least at the shirt, at least. I saw the shirt for sure. Yeah, just the bump. I saw pulling, Sean. I mean, I wish I could go back and put it, but like I saw pulling. So there goes the shoulder and there goes the game. Tutu against Atlanta. No, no, no, no. That's not how it ends. Inter Miami was on it the last like two minutes. I thought they were going to tie. I thought they were going to win the game. Yeah. Or Hoyos. You're going to mention the last two corners. Yeah. Well, first break it's fouled inside the box. Yes. And I wish to have at least looked at it because I thought he got fouled. But again, I'm not going to complain about the rest because I don't like to do that. But I did think that was a foul. Yeah. And then Messi takes a shot and Hoyos takes his leg out and blocks it. And then there's a scramble for a loose ball.
Takes another shot and he gets deflected out. Then he takes a corner. And Hoyos took it to keep it when I say Hoyos. I'm talking about the keeper for Atlanta, not the coach. Hoyos goes up and tries to catch the ball. And he like gets through his hands. I don't know who heads it or does what it hits off the the post. And it bounces right in front of the line. I thought it might have been a goal. It pops out like I was like, oh my god. I thought that was for sure going to go in. And then they get the possession. It's already been eight minutes. They give them one more possession. I think it might have been moona or somebody delivers a long ball. Bright gets it in the air. Heads it to the center of the six yard box. Bet that I'm a gets on the other end of it. And completely better if you are a good striker. If you are a good finisher. If you can finish with your head. If that is we swarrow. That ends up in the back of the net. He skies it over the crossbar. This guy cannot see the pitch more like he is.
He blew a perfect opportunity. Bright delivered that ball in a perfect spot. He had every chance to put it at least. Put it on target. If the keeper saves it fine. But the fact that he didn't even put it on target. This guy is terrible. He's terrible. Don't say this guy anymore. So is is is better. But that's the way. The moona on our offensive side. Who's worse? His moona is pretty bad also. Yeah, but you have a very simple job. At least better than you work great. Yeah, but the thing is you have a very simple job as a score. Score. And like is is bette the moona on the offensive side. Let me tell you something.
There was a moment where they were on transition. And he's dribbling the ball down the right side. He's worse than moona maybe. He's dribbling on the right side. Messi's coming down the middle. And he does the softest cross I've ever seen in my life. Like it looked like the ball got deflated on the way to Messi and makes it nowhere near Messi. And then they just pulls up and just touches the ball and then just such dribbling the other way. Like it was such a horrible cross. Like bette the moona is just bad in every which way possible. And everybody say, oh, you found this tried. Look at it. And he has like five goals now because in May all of a sudden he's scoring. No, it's just a run of luck where the ball would just land that his feet. And he would poke it in. Everybody starts all of a sudden he figured it out. He didn't figure it out. Nice terrible. Well, and look at this Xavier said, do you see how bad bet that I'm a dribbles the ball to he ran into like a group of of nothing but Atlanta players.
And I mean, look, there's people saying bette is worse than moona you were questioning that's a good ball. That's a good poll. Okay, we'll do that. I guess I'll do that while you look into. Well, some of the staff. Who is the standoff for today? So I'll give you who I thought was a standout. Okay. Hold on. You know what I decided to do? I pulled up the start. I pulled up like the lineup. On a couple of places. And I'm looking at the one that they have up on Google. And if any of you have a chance to do this, go ahead and do this. If you look at the lineup and the starters, it shows that Alan Obando is lined up as a starter on this game for today though. Like make sure it's not you looking at last year's game or something. No, I'm looking at today full time.
And both of them. Obando is on here. Don't trust. That's insane. Yeah, don't trust Google. I'm trying to pull something up here. I think look, you want to know who stood out to me? They ain't saying clear stood out to me. Okay. They ain't saying clear was a standout to me. I wanted to say Yannick Bright, but I give away for that first goal. I feel like kind of killed it for me. Even though I thought he other than that, he had a pretty good game. I'll say, I say the one the first half I left back. Everybody had hating on that. And yeah, I keep it at that. These four is a top-up of this game. So that's who your standouts are. Who's the Kepena? Oh, Kepena. I mean, it's got to be one of these two. And the worst part is, is Mura came in late.
So it's got to go. I'm going with better. I'm going to go better. I'm also. You know what? There's as much as as much as I hate Mura, I didn't even notice him much of this game. So I won't kill him this game. But there are me terrible, terrible. Kepena, but there are me for sure today. Hold on. It might be a saying that apple guy called Kaisedo, Obando, two times at the start of the game. And the thing is on this roster, I do see Kaisedo is here with like a egghead. So who is the player that they are calling Obando? It's Beterame. Because they don't have Beterame here listed. They don't have Beterame listed. They have Obando instead of Beterame. Standout according to sucks as I am, they. Okay. I mean, at this point, Kepena, Falcon is a good one also. Falcon is a Kepena.
Did you get something off in the first half? Yeah, you're a Kepena. He got technically sucked off in the second half. You know what? I think Obando has had a better intramarimi career than Beterame. That's actually. That's a legit question. Who had a better intramarimi? That's a hot take. Obando has had a better intramarimi career than Beterame. Do you know that game that we played against Dallas last season? Did he score that game? Yeah, that was a great location. I think he scored a really good location. He was a beast. Yes. It was a crazy rotation. Yeah, I remember that game. It was a home game. Wow. And then Nick is like asking you for clarification. Obando played like seven games. Well, I'm not gonna lie to you. That's crazy to me because I thought it was way less than seven games. Obando played less than 400 minutes. Yeah, seven games sounds crazy to me. Who's your drug dealer, Danny? You're telling me Obando hasn't had a better intramarimi career than Beterame? Yes. Obando did score.
Even if he didn't, I think he's been better because you know what he didn't do? He didn't miss as many chances as Beterame has. Mr. Krabs saying Obando is an MLS Cup. How many does Beterame have? That's the mic drop right there, Mr. Krabs. Drop that mic. All right. Who is your man of the match other than Messi? This is very difficult. Well, why do you think about that? I just remember real quick. And I want to shout out to real quick. We got two listeners, Chris and Christina from Fort Myers. They sent us a message real quick. That's not a bit of a sense of the show. And that they, you know, they're just supported and they always watch. So I just wanted to, it was a very nice message that me and Chris read it. And we appreciate it. So I just want to make sure, before I forget, I want to say something. I'm going to say, I'm going to say, we appreciate it. So I just want to make sure, before I forget, I forgot to mention it over the third in the week. Shout out to Chris and Christina from Fort Myers. We would appreciate that. All right. So matter of the match other than Messi.
Lewis Suarez. Okay. For me is saying clear. Because if he doesn't block that penalty kick. It's over. Yeah. So yeah. I'm going to say he's just based off of that. I'm going to go saying clear. Well, I don't know if you have the ability of going over the, the, the lowest and highest of the best. Yeah, I pulled it up on my, on my computer. Yeah. All right. Yeah. And look, you're not wrong by saying that. He was very impressive for me today. Yeah. That was, that was the moment right there. If they get two PKs, they should have scored twice. And according to you guys in the polls. But that I'm his worst at moota. That's bad. Because we kill moota on here. I know, but better than I may have so many chances that he blows, man, so many chances. All right. Who was the highest rated player that did not score or assist? So you cannot choose. Segovia, Suarez, Casamito or Messi. That's going to give it to RDP. No. So hold on.
So you got Messi can be counted. Suarez can be counted. Segovia or Casamiro. Wow. Yeah. Yannick Bright. Close. He's second highest. I don't know. I want to go Ian free, but Ian free. No. Okay. Number one, the highest is St. Clair, 7.9. Because of the penalty block. Okay. That makes a lot of sense. And then a second is Yannick Bright with 7.7. And who is the lowest player? I mean, I think it would look, I'd love to say that is Beterame, but I think that all the websites are going to say it was Falcone. There it was. It was 5.6.1. Kaysedo, 6.2 because he gave away a penalty. So that completely drops you down.
That's your boy. A lot. And then third worst is your boy, Beterame. Yeah, that's your boy too. Beterame. You love Beterame in the beginning. I came out here and I went on a rent about what a dumb signing it was. And it was a panic move for the CCC. And if it didn't work out and we didn't win the CCC, that we're going to regret this because we didn't sign a big name. And a useful striker during this summer transfer window. And it happened exactly like that. It was a crappy sign. Can I say something? Because we're talking about strikers. And what one goes mentioning, Campapi was good just in Jellimessi. You don't want to know what the sign. I think Campana over Beterame, a million times. You don't want to know what's crazy though Danny is that if you think about it, Campana hasn't meshed well with any 10. Because when we had... Posoelo and Ejwain was sitting in the bench,
we were like, what the hell is happening? Why isn't Campana destroying everybody like he was? And then all of a sudden, Ejwain gets his life revived. Kalisayet is asking, are we looking for a keeper? No, it's not. You got your two keepers for the rest of the year. You better hope to sing clear, configure it out or that Rockwell can figure it out once. Saying clear gets that 50 yellow card because those are our two keepers for the rest of the year. It is what it is. And then Mr. Krab saying, but that it makes me messy, why not listen? I'm sure. I'm sure. And I love the Y-Wine. I'm sure if Messi was to stumble into Ejwain's house with his big ass homeless beard, he would come and play it for him and my army in a heartbeat. What happened to Falcon from last season? Well, I remember we did a show where we went through the highlights and we didn't realize that until we did the show, how horrible he was in the first half of the year when it was, he got really sucks.
And then he came in after the club World Cup and had a great run. It's kind of like Ayende, it just, his was a little more extended, but they just had a nice little flash in the pan and then they went back to normal. And might be saying, Kabbana, the season only played one and a half games. He's been better than Betarame. Look, Abandoh had been a better into my play this season in Betarame. And he's not even on the spot anymore. That's bold. That's bold. Who's had a better year this year? Ayende or Betarame? Party Betarame. Ayende, he played like D4K. He had this big enough thing. Yeah. He did nothing. Yeah. He was a garbage bag. Yeah. Ayende will always be the worst. All right. Chris, you got any final words? Ayende will always be the worst. That's it. You will. You should just end it like that. Thank you. I don't know. He's so lucky. I had that run in the playoffs. Thank God. Yeah. Any final words, sir? I love your choice, by the way. Oh, yeah.
No, listen. This jersey is, is fucking gorgeous, dude. I don't know if you guys have had the chance to get this jersey. I mean, I love these colors, man. Yeah. I love these colors. It's that vice city stuff. I love them. Should I show off the other jersey that I got? Or should I save that for like when we do the MLS show? Oh, it's up to you. You can do it now if you want. Yeah. No. Should I premiere here? Hold on. It depends. I'm going to take you. No, it's I was just grab it. It's right there. For those of you that were interested in wondering what premiere league team I'm going to be following for our soccer show. I mean, if you guys want to just guess in the chat, what premiere league team I chose, I'm going to show you guys with the jersey that I got. Nobody's going to guess it. Go. We're going to give you like, we're going to give you 30 seconds, guys. Just the name of the squad. I want to see. No, I doubt nobody. Anybody gets it. If they know me, then they will get it. Next next set, Brighton because of Diego Gomez, which is still waiting for his apology letter.
Xavier Penny said, Crystal Palace, maybe because it goes up, but nope. Chelsea Chelsea or Arsenal. So you got to go Chelsea's Rex. No, it's a it's a first division team. Oh, steady. Look at the next city. Crystal Palace. Yeah. Yeah, whole city. You know me, Sean. Sean, you were asking for tickets before. If you hit me up like on Twitter, I got you just for guessing it right. Whole city. Look at that undefeated already, baby. You kidding? Yes, that was a good one Xavier. Yes, it is extent. All right. Do you have any final words, Chris? No, that's it. That's my team.
Aficion Richmond. Whole city. Yeah, I don't know. You know, I'm going to be a front runner and pick one of these like other teams, Danny, like a Chelsea and like a man city. No, I mean, I wanted you to pick somebody that we could talk about. What do you mean that we could talk? We could talk about them. And in the month, they won't. Whatever. Are you serious? Mike, V, are you serious? Like what if they stay like, because did some teams that have just always been regulated and promoted and they're just back and forth. That's what you would pick like. Like, for example, and asked in villa. Like they're not one of the top teams but, they might be, they might stick around for a while. I'm going to be a little bit more about the game. Uh, Mr. Krabs asking why I'm wearing a rubber T-skit. Uh, they have Kucho and they had a big win against raw materials today. Is it the English
championship? Uh-huh. Go ahead. No, I'm just going to say that. My team, my club is into Miami. I look, Danny, I really wanted what's the, what's the third English league? Is it EFL league one? I'd rely on you if I told you I don't pay attention to that. Hold on. Because there is a team that I wanted to pick. And the thing is, is that they're not in the Premier League. And apparently they do go to the Premier League every so often. And I mentioned this team. Uh, I'm trying to see if I could find it. I don't know if it was, uh, I don't know if it was, uh, Norwich City. That's where I wanted to really pick. Hall City, uh, destroyed Manu, two zero. Yeah, I know. It was the first time the Manchester United ever loses their opening match to a recently right, uh, promoted team. So I was a big win. That was a huge win. Mm hmm. Getting. Because of the other club
and players doing what in Europe. Uh, yeah. And, um, we have to get together for the first time. I'm going to be a big win. I'm going to be a big win. Um, we have to get together for a couple, uh, most of the titles. So we can talk about that because we've been planning on getting back to talk about the European players. And how disappointed we are that Richard Veele's went to Saudi Arabia, or whatever we'll do that on that show. All right. Um, that's it. If you're listening on audio, appreciate your visit until the end. Please, if I start as in a comment, if you are true on YouTube, like it, subscribe. And we will be back. I would assume maybe Monday to preview. The game on Wednesday against Chicago. So we'll see how that goes. So until the next one. Have a good one.
