About this episode
He was the television dad for a generation of kids - now they and many others mourn the passing of Bob Saget. The actor and comedian was found dead in his hotel room in Florida...just hours after he performed a standup routine. While the cause of death is still unknown, as Jim Moret reports, Saget died after doing what he loved. And fire officials are investigating one of the deadliest fires in New York City in almost 40 years as 17 people were killed - eight of them children. Turns out, the cause was a space heater. It’s a grim reminder to be as prepared as you can for a fire. We have some important information that could help you get out alive. Plus, it's never a good idea to ski into the snow making equipment...but when that happened at one ski area, it resulted in a geyser of ice water erupting that actually knocked some skiers off a chairlift. And nothing was going to stop this teacher from reading her kids their weekly story!
