About this episode
Lindsay Clancy spent Labor Day weekend in a state-run psychiatric facility after her trial dramatically ended in a mistrial. Now, as everyone waits for word of a retrial, her lawyer is hoping for a quicker resolution, asking President Trump to pardon Lindsay. And as we approach the 25th anniversary of 9/11, the country is remembering the heroic passengers and crew of Flight 93. They stopped the hijackers from hitting their intended target, the U.S. Capitol, crashing the plane in a Pennsylvania field instead. Today, there continue to be heroes in the sky, including two passengers who duct-taped an out-of-control man to his seat as he bit them. They are now speaking out, telling Justin Finch about the drama at 30,000 feet. Plus, drama at the U.S. Open as a top player stopped her match. The problem was the smell of pot wafting onto the court. As Steven Fabian reports, she asked that the smoking be stopped before she could carry on. And a five-year-old boy loves to go outside and collect goose feathers. But when his mom let him go to a nearby pond alone, she ended up under arrest.
