About this episode
A new initiative aimed at making Irish a more visible and natural part of everyday life in Ennis is taking another step forward this week.
Inis Dom, a partnership between An Clár as Gaeilge and Clare County Council, is encouraging businesses and the wider community to embrace the Irish language through simple, practical changes—from greetings and signage to menus and social media.
The project's official launch takes place tomorrow evening at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis, and joining Alan Morrissey to tell us more were Ruairí Henchy, Irish Language Development Officer with Clare County Council, and Leah Ní Thailtigh, a representative from An Clár as Gaeilge.
