I'm going to get a shot. Don't car. Scott Anderson 97 on the ticket. Fire it up for this week in a football. Fire it up for tonight. We got national football league season opener. Dowson Philly 2485 3997 97 Scott is next on 97 on the ticket. High Scott. You ever get attacked by a bear. Take him to the mall. Did he just say if you ever get attacked by a bear, kick him in the balls. Scott, you're on the air. Scott Scott Scott Scott Scott Scott. We're going to we're going to get yelled after this. He's been on hold for like 40 minutes and we go to him and he says if you ever get attacked by a beer, I don't know if he said the balls. I don't know if he said that. He may have said that. I don't know if I had the word mall instead of balls, but. I thought maybe mouse too. Like this where the M came in for you. Ma mall mouth ball.

Maybe so do we lose Scott? I don't think we need to risk it. So people this is news you might have interest in. Okay. Well, and you sent it to me. The Alliance for creativity and entertainment, the world's leading anti-piracy coalition announced Tuesday that a notorious piracy network streamcast has been shut down. And also has made in conjunction with authorities in Egypt who rated streamcast streamists, sorry, stream east offices and cease three laptops and four smartphones used to operate the site as well as 10 visa cards that had about 123,000 dollars on them. As well as $200,000 in crypto wallets. Two Egyptian citizens were arrested as part of the raid. So there were people watching streamest streamest, sorry. Which was being fed to them from via Egypt. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Just saying, you know, people that have been, you know, what's next?

What do you mean? It's the fire stick. I mean, next. They're going to be going to finally. I don't know. Jail breaking and all that stuff is are they finally going to get after it? We've talked about this all the time because whenever topics of sports and streaming and stuff like that comes up invariably somebody calls I don't know what you guys are even paying for. Right. And then there's the people that say, I think it's legal. I get everything. Mm-hmm. You think that's legal? Yeah. Well, some people in the Egypt got arrested. The best response that saw this online guys was next man up. It's true though. I mean, you could they could stop one, you know, but there's always going to be another and there is other way. Is it even remotely surprising that this is out of a place like Egypt? I just know other side of the world. Yeah. Somebody came up on the concoction and sure enough, this is like a scene from a movie where you've got the

giant room with people and computers and he got like the massive screens in front that have like the globe on it in different sections of the globe with lots of, you know, lines going from one city all the way to the other like it's beaming from this satellite over to here and. Yeah, you got somebody who's on a headset and talking to somebody who's, you know, wearing sunglasses and a car and a dark all your and it's all, you know, feeding Todd in his apartment and Hazel Park. Yeah, right. All right. Watch out for the doors. Hi guys. Mm-hmm. Are you watching the Eagles Cowboys game tonight? Yeah. I am. And how exactly are you watching it? Well, I just, you know, I gel, but come together. I'm not going to not collect $200. Big trouble. Okay, a little bit surprising news. Maybe the Lions did bring it a veteran quarterback. And signing CJ Bether to come in and be a third quarterback for this team, which basically is saying we want to create

competition for the backup quarterback spot. Do you think that's what that says? Yeah. What do you think it says? I just think it says that they just need an extra quarterback for the practice squad so they can run stuff. And it's just a, it's totally emergency break glass. I think I mean, he's not on the roster. He's on the practice squad, right? I think he's on the roster because didn't they have to release someone they did from the practice squad. Okay, my apologies then. Are you surprised at who they released? That's what I was trying to get at. Okay, so, uh, Uquo is the one who is Isaac Uquo, the edge rusher. So they'd rather have a third quarterback to run stuff in the practice squad. Then a guy that felt like he had a chance to be useful. Now, look, they know what they're doing. You know, it's very, this is probably going to be in consequence of on the grand scheme of things. But were you surprised to see Isaac Uquo released? A little bit, you know, but then you have to go

through the entire practice squad and see where they, I don't know where they feel. Maybe this tells you how strongly they feel about depth at certain positions and, you know, you look at defensive end, which people say is thin with the lions, but on their practice squad, they have miles, atoms, Keith Cooper, Uquo was on there as well. So those were all guys that were on the practice squad. So now he's gone. They still have a couple players there. Yeah. And you know how this works? A few more weeks into the season. Maybe he's brought back to the practice squad. Maybe, I mean, if nobody else signs him. Right. So we'll see about that. It also tells me guys that Hennon Hooker was not even close. Like, I think this was, hey, you need to change his scenery. Then when Hooker has his press conference with the Carolina Panthers, he says something like, I want to be somewhere where I'm wanted. You know, I think they said it's not going to work out here at all. And for the four lions and Hooker and said,

we're going to go sign a veteran guy. Even though he is an emergency quarterback, we really have a veteran who's done it before, who can get us into our plays in out of huddles, whatever, run the offense, then have a, quote unquote, developmental quarterback as a practice squad guy. Yeah, I think it absolutely says they don't want a developmental guy anymore. They work with that for a couple of years. They just want another guy that can that command an offense or would be able to quickly enough. Bethard was, he had some good starts with San Francisco. There was a point, there were like a couple of years there were San Francisco rent through like three or four quarterbacks and they all played recently well. And Pertie was one of them. Pertie ended up winning the job. But and Bethard was one of them. Yeah, well, but I don't think he pushes Kyle Allen. I don't think that's, that's what he's there to do. Feedback coming in. Jamie writes in red zone is going from seven hours a commercial free football to seven hours of commercials with football, sprinkle it in by 2026. I'm sick to my stomach. There are details had been released now.

It's four. There are going to be four commercial breaks in the seven hours. From, this is from front office sports. Red zone ads will be split screen. It's the same format that they tested last year. Audio of the ad will play. Football will be the other box of the split screen. Sources tell front office sports that there will be, as you mentioned, four, 15 second ads in the entire seven hour show. But here's the key part at the start of the season. So they're committing, they're the only thing they're doing is four, 15 at the beginning. Yeah, so here we go to start on on Sunday your first day of red zone. And for that first day, it'll just be four, 15 second ads. We'll see how much it ramps up to really not bad if they don't, if they don't add to it. But you know, they will. Of course they're going to add to it. How much money can they get? You can probably get a free, if you'll legally stream it. I don't know, he never watched red zone. Yeah, I'm not. He's on the field. I feel bad because he's watching.

You should never assume that everybody does something and Doug just proved that point. He watched it just a month. I tried it. It feels to me like I'm not really getting the sense for anything. And usually there's a game on that has lines and interests that it's better for me to watch a whole bears game than to watch. Just like red zone to me, I started off because it was perfect for fantasy because you get the highlights. Yes, that's my guy or oh no, he scored again. Right. But okay. Till you search. Yeah, no, okay. You know, I respect what it is. And I think people certainly sure are. I guess I'm the opposite. I have a hard time just sitting there watching a game like. Well, there you go. Attention span. You're going to attention span issues. What? Sorry. What do you guys got playing? Come on up next. We got a topic called Old Man topic. A couple of things. Are we old men because we feel this way? Okay. And then talking a little bit, we're going to start off with the micaparcin is finding out that the Eagles had some interests.

Have a great show. Stay safe everyone. Treat each other with respect. Talk to you tomorrow from Norman, 971 to ticket.
