And I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable,

abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Why are you dealing with listening to harm, strong and getting under man? We're not boring. Lot of news is boring. And tedious and depressing. And makes you angry. Our executive producer is Brandon Deutsch. On all platforms, is it just at Brandon Deutsch? Brandon, is that where we can get you? So on on TikTok and Instagram, it's Brandon S. Deutsch on Twitter. It's BSD Takes or X rather.

We have to get all of the information and don't worry. We'll just redo this every episode. But we've been saying Swollen Dome for years. We've been saying at Dan Bayer on Fox for years. And we welcome Brandon Deutsch to the podcast is our new producer. Mike, it's like we have term limits every year. We have every other year. We have a new producer. So it's two years. I don't know if you're going to run for re-election Brandon or not, Mike. But I don't know if they get sick of us after two years and they want to leave. But Brandon is on board for his year one in our year seven of I Want Your Flex podcast. By time you get through one of these three a week or more depending on what's going on in the football world all the way through the Super Bowl. Yeah, I think after all of those hours dealing with me, I'm surprised you haven't walked on. I've got other I've got other reasons to deal with, but it's fantasy football that continues to reel me in. And I honestly, after some fantasy seasons, they've gone such ways. I've had the bread far of conversation. Can't do the city more. Can't do this anymore. Then may magazines start coming out in early June now because the late schedule release.

And then I get that itch again with the training camps and it just reels me back in. But there have been some seasons that have made me want to quit fantasy football altogether. No, I feel that certainly, you know, I go back to the origin stories back in, you know, 98, 99. I mean playing before that all the spreadsheets put on to the door when we're in college and all of that stuff. But then when I was at Yahoo and we were building the perfect beast, I spent so much time looking at it that it was like, I don't even want to play. But it's like it's what we're doing. Like it's the lifeblood of everything we got going on and low and bold. Here we are all these years later. And it's a bit more removed because I don't have to do the day to day maintenance of hey, you guys scored this wrong. It's like, all right, let's teach you basic math. When you'd literally go through into their league settings based on a super tool and you'd say, you know, you realize that you gave passing touchdowns 10 points per. So in this particular game, Peyton Manning absolutely murdered. Peyton Manning beat my whole team.

Or, you know, or you've made tackles. You decided, hey, individual defensive players. Let's make individual tackles worth two. Well, I'm okay. Ray Lewis had a 58 point. Hey, he's the greatest player in history for fantasy football. I have my survivor pick and my point to Paloza coming up in our last segment. Maybe I should do a reason why I hate fantasy football because I've already got one for the 2026 season. I've got Roma Dune Jay on my squad limited with that foot issue. Just not necessarily sure how it's going to play out. I didn't have anybody in Cux Patriots in my long time league on Thursday night. So you know what I said, Mike? Guess what? We're going to flip some things around. I'm a little short handed. Let's put to John Stribling in the lineup. So I have someone to watch on that Thursday night Netflix game in Australia against the Rams. Not only did I see Stribling be helped off without any receptions yards or targets.

I was even plays before I saw him kind of limping to the sidelines and I'm like, oh no, oh no. So yes, a goose egg for one of my starting players in week one of a fantasy season is never ever a good thing. And now he he limping off and then eventually getting carted off gave Desion love some more ammunition as number seven of the 49ers. Niners didn't like, hey, I got hurt. What do you want to do? All right, well, let's get to it. We can do the first segment for those that haven't listened in our weekend episodes. Mike Harman's got his top five rankings for the quarterback running back in wide receiver position. We'll get the hot place cold sores and ninjas a bit later on, but Mike, let's get into the rankings. So are your top five quarterbacks for week one of the 2026 NFL season? Lock and load one of the highest point totals on the board for this week 50 and a half. So let's take Joe burrow. Everybody's up and ready to go. Higgins chase all cleared and ready loaded for bear. Average nearly 17 and a half points per year per game last year. Tampa Bay secondary struggled.

Made some adjustments, but Rome wasn't built in the day. And this is one that I think we will have a lot of entertainment value as opposed to that opener. I know you got the wind, Dan, but you know, it's as long as it's close late, I celebrate. That's what it's all about. But for fantasy purposes, not a lot of love going on. It was a three quarter root canal for me. For a while, then the fourth quarter came along and everything was good. Yeah, everything all of a sudden turnovers turnovers. Just keep throwing the ball to Romeo doves. Everything's good for Seattle. All right, Jalen hurts at Washington versus Washington home game. Five and a half point favorites 44 and a half is your total. We look at the opportunity here against a bad Washington secondary team that I'm decidedly out on this year. I've had some arguments. Everybody waiting for the Jaden Daniels resurfacing. And maybe he does. Maybe we'll talk about him. But when we look at Jalen, heart still make a place with his legs. Some new offensive weaponry. I know lemons still ailing, but we'll see what they're able to do with Devon Desmiff now as your number one Lamar going up against Indianapolis.

One of the more intriguing sides of a game this week when we look at the new look Ravens often. I mean, there's no harboh there for the first time in all these years. So we'll see what Declan Doyle coming off of Chicago is run with Chicago is able to do so looking for an opportunity here. Got Justin Herbert against Arizona. Man, that's the I think the biggest points bread right nine and a half for that one Sunday afternoon. Opportunity there Mike McDaniel gets to start pulling the strings. And we expect great things from that offense. And not so much from Arizona. Finally Jared golf going up against the New Orleans Saints looking for opportunity here. We've seen him consistently one of your favorites year after year in the Australia game. They had a graphic up last year. Only two players two quarterbacks had a touchdown pass in every game last season. Well, Matthew Stafford didn't have one yesterday. So you won't repeat.

But Jared golf looks to get off to a big start here in 2020. So I was looking for a quarterback later on in our guillotine league that we have here at Fox Sports Radio and Jared golf was available. And I kind of set my targets on him. I thought a stack situation with Amon Ross St. Brown could could do me well. And that stood out to me as that golf did have that touchdown in every single game didn't realize that Stafford was the other one to have it. So it's definitely not likely to happen for two straight years for Jared golf just like as you pointed out Mike, it's not going to happen for two straight years from Matthew Stafford. But with that game against the Saints on Sunday, I think that you will see some points in that one as well. Yeah, that's the other 50 and a half point total on the board. Some juice there. Let's get to see who's got some juice in the backfield. Your top five running backs for week one. Because he's going to catch 47 passes. It's Devon H. And right off the jump. Going against the loser. I'm only half kidding because what else are they going to do throw him the ball and run him quite a bit. So looking for an opportunity here early on to make his presence known because let's look up at the top. We've got some of the familiar names, right?

You got Jemir Gibbs going against New Orleans. Another guy that's going to catch the bought of the backfield a bunch of the New Orleans allowed 14 touchdowns to opposing running backs a year ago. So opportunity again, a team that were I think high on to have some some success this year over the course of the campaign. Tough opener on the road at Detroit. I'll marry in Hampton comes in third again, all the love of McDaniel and everything about that the past game. I already mentioned H and well, he was the guy that got to work behind what McDaniel schemeed up 78 67 receptions for him the last two years. Thing with Hampton is going to be healthy and it's like I said, making the 49ers might pick for the Australian game. I don't need him for 17 weeks. I need him today. So I don't know if Hampton's going to be able to be the work hours a guy with 20 to 25 touches per game over the course of a full year, but I'll take him in week one going up against Arizona as they sort out the guy running behind him.

Say, go on, Barkley going up against Washington here 14th amongst fantasy rushers last year, a little bit of a down tick in terms of his overall usage, which Bogewell normally it's that it's like I always reference Brett Saber hanging and maybe I need to update the reference stand as a hold. But remember in the mid 80s how you had saw a young award winning season that he'd have regression a little bit. He's normal and then he come back and he'd have another saw a young year. I think say, go on could be in line for another one of those. We know there are offensive line always strong and stout and ready to go. And finally, we'll end it with Chase Brown going back to that 50 and a half point total going up against the Tampa Bay Buckeneers that made some changes on the defensive line, which should be an improvement for them, but looking from brown again leaking out of the back field and a couple of receptions to help had those fantasy stats. Well, I think it's interesting because the dated reference that you had of Brett the outdated reference if you wanted to say for the Brett Saber, hegan. I update it when it comes to baseball of the Giants. Everyone in the Giants would win it in the even years in the early 2010s and then all of a sudden the odd years would be off.

So there was that's kind of my updated version, but I know exactly what you are talking about. I was like Christian McCaffrey was kind of like that as well. Like there'd be a lot of action. Then you get hurt and then come back the next year, but I think the Giants, the San Francisco Giants are the better comparison when you're talking to Sequan Barclay. Yeah, like that build up win, divest for a year, save some money. Hey, it's financial prudence. I mean, it's a great example for all the kids out there. Wasn't that like the 40, the 40 managed going to have a path like that right brand, there'd be like great and then they'd everybody get injured. So it'd be an off year and they could draft Nick Bosa and then again. Yeah, and then they whiffed on the Michael Williams that's a separate conversation. Poor kids only played four games. Maybe I shouldn't be too hard on them. Well, they've got a couple of whiffs in there for all the greatness. I mean, you know, as a Chicago guy, I've been hearing for years all about the Trabisky trade and everything else. Well, I mean, they won because Fred Warner eventually got drafted in the later in that draft, but the Saints ended up getting Camara, but you know, the top pick there for the 49ers certainly didn't work out for all the chestiness that they had at the time of the draft, but you know, that's just me really getting thanks from a decade ago.

I just just say that there's a reason Kyle Shanahan got a big extension in John Lynch did not. Nice. That's all I'll say. Nice and another. They're just working in the shadows anymore. What happened there? They just I had a Kyle Shanahan tweet locked and loaded last night that I did not send. I just felt it was too insensitive and I will not reveal what it was, but I just it was. Good on Kyle Shanahan. I'll tell you what he shows his worth at least again Sean McVeigh as they did. 12 and 7 now. 12 and 6. Yeah, but I had an incentive insensitive tweet that I tweeted out about Brock party, but I took it down out of respect because after that pick, I was really like that was one of the worst picks I've seen. And then he dominated. I was like, OK, well, you can't read that you can't delete that. Well, I mean, unless you had some other language and some terrible things out of respect that deleted it was still a bad tweet. We need to think he's going to invite you for dinner. Come on. I'll tell you what, there will be no 49ers and Mike's wide receiver rankings because they've already played. Let's get to a mic. The games that do remain your top five wide receivers for week one.

I'm on raw one of our favorites. Let's go. Third three straight years number three overall PPR leagues half PPR leagues as we talk about here. Certainly a lot of opportunity here against New Orleans looking for that matchup against Kool-Aid that that could be a fun one on one battle, but I think they scheme of open kind of like we were able to see the other night. JSN all it takes is one right one fourth down call find him some space and let him go to work. So I'm on raw same idea. Jamar chase going against Tampa again going back to that 50 and a half just so enticing for me about Justin Jefferson making his return to the top five after a long, long road. I think we look at green Bay they've got some issues. And some changes right half least gone so now you go and you've got your new coordinator trying to make things work. Certainly some familiarity with the Minnesota quarterback no question about it when you talk about his former head coach taking over there. I think they tried to establish something early in this one. A lot of per quality personnel and really the best offense that Kyle Murray has been able to operate out of so they get dividends a week one.

Nico Collins going against Buffalo looking for Leonard to you know release the house which gonna give you some one on one opportunities down the field and then finally Chris Alave going back to that Detroit New Orleans game one of our favorites to watch and it's one of those we get him in and he's going to perform when he's healthy was nearly 14 fantasy points a game a year ago looking for more firm him and Tyler Schuck. I feel like Nico Collins was the least talked about like top wide receiver in the preseason. I just nobody likes the quarterback. Yeah like it was but he's still there in the rankings. Like even if we were talking about Drake London where we're lamenting about two or Michael Panax or whatever but I think the conversation just for whatever reason just stayed away from Nico Collins and I think I think very viable very viable for the Houston Texans if he is a one man show. Yeah as long as he can stay healthy and avoid the bug right we we have our different teams like Brandon knows it with substation talk there in San Francisco we certainly have watched with the chargers and the Ravens for years Houston has not been immune to that there on that that small and terrible grid to be on with the number of games lost due to injuries so we shall see Detroit also down a couple of safeties in that game just to finish the Alave note so there's your top five.

All right there they are your top five quarterbacks running backs and wide receivers for week one of the NFL season coming up next my carman will give you this hot place cold sores and ninjas some of the guys you got to get in your lineup that aren't the top five and the other guys you got to stay away from. He's my carman i'm Dan by your brain and do it you're here as well it's all coming up next year and I want your. When I was 14 years old I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them i'm a little bit smart and these are the survivor files just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying shut up don't say anything. Every week i'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable i knew if he woke up without a doubt he was going to hurt me started feeling that there's someone at the end of my bed and i just started screaming they are abducted stalked controlled and nearly silenced but these aren't stories about what's taken from them their stories about what it takes to make it out alive listen to the survivor files with the list of a.

Thanks be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gods and company live weekday set 3 p.m. Eastern 12 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeart Radio app. All right let's get right into it. He's my Carmen. I'm Dan by our brand and do it. She's here as well as our executive producer Mike or your hot place for week one. I'm going to get you to the top five rankings that the quarterback running back a wide receiver position. But guys that you got to get your line up this week. All right the obligatory nod to the greatest offense there is and Dak Prescott. Getting it done early and often night he's owned the giants throughout his career. Last year top five finish for him 19 fantasy points per game. You get the giants have got some some heft up front.

So with a little bit of a banged up left side of the line. Maybe they're able to get home and create some chaos and some timing issues. But overall I think they should be able to get over on the back seven. Caleb Williams tough spot. You mentioned the wide receiver. You know we're chatting a little bit. Roma Dunes a Lutheran bird and all these guys have their injuries all expected to go. Carolina was one of the best against opposing quarterbacks a year ago. This is one as a bears guy Chicago kid. I'm not feeling great about the game ending. I think because I think the other side of the ball has such a problem. But that means Caleb Williams going to keep winging the ball down the field which means more level and more opportunity. And big time points. Trevor Lawrence going up against the Cleveland Browns last year. Had his breakthrough finished as a top five quarterback. Looking at Cleveland. They've been strong. They got a pretty pretty solid defense. But looking for him this spread the ball around and you've had a whole off season for Liam Cohen to work in. And I think you get a little bit of a redemptive arc with Brian Thomas Jr.

I'd go back to the running back position. Javante Williams. He's the the established and right now running on a pose. Maybe we get a little bit of a change of pace with Malik Davis. But for now opportunity here David Montgomery going up against Buffalo. Look I'm looking for short some short yardage and I'm looking for some runs into the line to try to create some space. Downfield for the play action to roll. How about Travis Etchin. Yes. I have no idea how to say it. I am sneezing. I don't know what we're calling it. Yeah. I think you change it. Yeah. So so so Devon H. And is H. And but I think it is more of the chin. He was in tight right? Like I think that's I think to Mike's point. I think that's what it is. All right. So we'll reestablish that for a few days. I think that's a pretty good. I think I think I think it's pretty good. I thought that was pretty. Yeah. I've called me TN still a few times. Everybody has. And so just when he signed with the Saints that he decided to tell everybody that everybody's been pronouncing his name wrong since Clemson.

So that's the way it is. It happens. So there you go. You got an opportunity here. I mean come here. I expected to go but takes a little bit of a step back here. I'm looking for for Etchin to be able to do that. I have a step back here. I'm looking for for Etchin to be very active as a pass catcher out of the back field. And you got to have your hot routes and your safety. Safety valve. And remember, they're still trying to round out the rest of that receiving core while they get Tyson back from injury. All right. How about Baker Mayfield? He no longer has the chip on his shoulder, but he's got the opportunity since and at his defense far improved. That's they improved over a year ago, but he and a Buka, which is, you know, he got a hang a star on him a little bit. But we should have some opportunity in this one as it opens up again. All fantasy points count the same, even if they come late and come back fashion. One day Robinson, one of my favorite guys, the last couple of years, PPR machine in the game that only about five people will watch outside of New York and Tennessee.

And so we get him in looking at a ton of opportunities, I think James and Williams. And then the aforementioned going back to that Carolina game, a tent make mill, a new question about it. Get him on, get him over, get him in because that backs up and for the bears struggling. There they are. My carman's hot plays for the week. Let's jump over to the cold sores. The guys you want to stay away from. There may be a thing could be automatic starts, but may have second thoughts. Mike, who do we stay away from in week one? Well, it's a home date. It's a Monday night football game and he says, hey, I don't want any more questions about my leg. It's Patrick my homes going against that Denver defense. You got an offensive line that I have some questions of how they handle the pressure from Denver, because I think it'll be relentless. The screaming hot route like he's hanging out with Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan will then definitely be in play here. Very tough. I mean, he averaged a pretty sizable amount of points when he was available last year, but was it consistent and even no, my no, my no stretch, but against Denver's defense.

He's a no fly. I got to see this come to fruition. Jaden Daniels mentioned him before. I am hopeful that we see more of the guy that we had in 2024, but I got to see proof of concept and fill his defense and that defensive front. Not exactly one. I want to see about Josh Allen. Normally in the top three on the medal stand here every every week, but going against Domingo Ryan's going to be against the Houston Texans. It's been their kryptonite. Owen for in Houston with a 66 rating and a completion percentage that of a coin flip. Just over 51% what it's all said and done. So no, thank you. I'm not banking on him giving me a rushing touchdown or a big scramble. I'm not doing that week one. Ken the Walker going up against Denver again, owing to questions about the offense as it gets going in week one. Breece all going up against Tennessee. There's stout up front. Salah. I'll have them going. No question.

We got. What else do I have? I got Drake London. Well, I mean, I got to take one chalk. The Drake, right? Yeah. I mean, I got to take one chalk. I mean, I don't know if Joey Porter Jr. is going to play, but we know it's Cooper Rush. That is true. It's official. Yes. Yeah, on the big board, I finally remembered to put all my stuff in and before this announcement, you can check the tape of me signing it that Jack Strand would end up being QB1 for more. So here we go. We're that much closer to it, guys. Malik neighbors again going up against Dallas. They're giving him the option of whether he's going to play or not. He practiced and everything else. I expect him to be out there. I hope. But the fact that he's still saying I don't know as the time of we're sitting down and recording the podcast leaves me scratching my head. Yeah, I've scratched my head as well with neighbors all off season. I've actually just decided to stay away. I had no opportunity just in plus I'm not the overall believer in Jackson Dart just yet either.

So I I tried to cautiously instead away from Malik neighbors. Yeah, they said evidently it's up to him, but he is not decided yet whether he wants to go. That's not just me talking out my you know. And then finally, we look at Christian Watts and going against Minnesota. They were the best against wide outs a year ago. Expect more of the same from that defense. And I just want to see how the green Bay offense works. Right. There's a lot of hype and a lot of excitement for Jordan love with these wide receivers. This is a show me kind of situation with their offensive line issues and obviously trying to figure out how they get a running back situation together with Jacobs on the exemplest. You've got Marshawn Lloyd. You've got a couple other backs and camp. But can they perform? Yeah, it's really interesting with that green Bay wide receiver crew isn't it? After seeing what dobs did on Thursday night, all of the packer fans were like, all right, he's yours now. Like dobs had more of an injury issue with green Bay than you did with the drops, but but now you're wondering, OK, was did Christian Watson and Jaden Reed that they make it through and obviously Matthew Golden was their first rom pick because.

Green Bay knew about dobs and the new about done TV and wicks. We shall see, but the packers Vikings, we seem to get this little bit more often than normal and week one and we got another one this time around. Yeah, we get that one because you know, we did a lot with Dallas and the Giants. You know, it's the ninth time in 20 seasons. That Dallas and the Giants are opening week one. Yeah, I saw. Yeah, it's I saw an SVP clip talking with Stanford Steve and Stanford Steve was berating the fact that it's Cowboys Giants again and I agree. And we all know why and that's as we P was trying to point that as well, but yeah, enough of the NFC East and then the funny thing is is commanders Eagles is the prime time game. The late afternoon big game on Fox CBS has Packers Vikings against it. So that's Nancy and JJ Watt. So the NFC matchups, but we're going to have like two prime time not prime time, meaning night time, but big time matchups. That's a better way to put it in the late window that we've got.

Yeah, yeah, that late window. All right, let's get to the ninjas, the sneaky place that we've got for week one of the NFL season. What about that Don Tavy and Wix going up against Washington? Maybe I spoke too soon. Well, well, we'll see how like that's just it after jobs. You're probably throwing it back on the bench because even as I wrote it down, I'm like, and the Packers jettisoned him too. So we'll see what happens. But hey, if they like with dogs, if someone puts that kind of check in front of you, you say, no, right? How about nailer going up against Miami opportunity here with no Brock Bowers, the distribution of pass attempts to roll around for Captain Kirk? How about Devon Velle going up against the Detroit Lions? We watched him start to break out a little bit last year looking for an opportunity here. Caleb Douglas why because we got to get a rookie and going up against the loss of someone's got to catch the football, right? Dolphin, right? Yeah, someone someone's got to catch a football. So let's run with it.

In our last podcast and I told you how I had to draft a dolphin. It was I was looking at Caleb Douglas as a possibility. And I just at the email, email been taken. Either way, I settled on Olly Gordon for my son. There you go. Just try to take the dolphin, but Caleb Douglas was under consideration. I'm now stacking Olly Gordon cards. You're going to walk paper. It's child's career. You know what? If one of them is in it around the goal line, we all win any dolphin will work. Any dolphin will work. No, you just got to wear a Jackson Smith and Jigba shirt to school on Friday. Yes, he did. So I was trying to he's five. So he's still learning the names. He knows Josh Allen, but I was trying to get him to to get Jackson Smith and Jigba down. I did pretty well with it. That's pretty good. Yeah. I mean, get it and you can shorten it to JS and I just say I represent champs. Yeah. That's all I do here. Oh, this is this champion here. Yes. No, that's it. It's like, but it doesn't say that on the back.

It doesn't need to. Nope. You just need to know. All right. Let's go. Mike Washington Jr. Going up against mine. Although, Gentie is not on the injury report. Right. We had a lot of concerns. And this is where the human body always bewilders me fellas. Because remember when he got hurt. What was the initial response of all this? Praying. You had a praying. They were praying for him. Right. So you're all thinking, all right, that's an ACL or a rupture or something and he's done. Well, he's he's going to be good to go, but watched in the guy really showing out a bunch in the preseason. Brandon, join me on the Saturday overnight show last week. And we talked to far more Raiders football than we should have, but it was the excitement of Washington that really let us down that path. Deandre Swift going up against Carolina. He's the number one guy. You look at him. Overall, average 13 points per game. Monungay still coming back off injury. Not sure how much he's going to be limited for week one. Tony Pollard going up against the Jets. Look over the course of the year.

He's going to fade and will not be the lead guy back to back 1000 yard seasons though. So let's plot along a little bit and what might be what is it? 38 and a half is the over under for that one. And then we got a couple of quarterbacks to round things out. I mentioned Bryce Young earlier against the Bears. And that secondary looks shootouts week in week out is what I'm expecting from that Chicago squad. And for Bryce Young, he'll shut people up at least for one week in terms of having himself a big opportunity. Tyler Murray going up against Green Bay. We talked about that earlier Tyler Schuck. And then last one more running back situation. How about Chris Rodriguez Jr. going up against the Cleveland Browns. Look, you got a tuton as the number one, but Rodriguez comes in. We've seen him do some short yardage work and work out of the back. Feel a little bit of receiver. So opportunity here knocks against the Browns during this recording. Deandre Swift got a three year extension from your Chicago Bears. Look at that. I was a steel by the way. That was a steel of a contract.

I feel like I just I didn't see the entire numbers on it, but I just saw the the tweet come through three years 35 million. I can check right now. That's all right. It's all good. It's a podcast. 335. Third is. But while considering running backs weren't getting paid. I mean, Deandre Swift gets into some rarefied air. Sure. And he gets he gets that makes him elite. It was incentives up to 33 million, but 27 was the initial number. There it is. The double digit annual salary if you can hit those incentives. All right. There are your ninjas for week one of the NFL season. On the other side, I got a survivor pick for you. Plus a points of pollution. Plus our executive producer, Brandon Deutsch will lay any knowledge that he has as well. Do you have a streaming defense? Do you have a do you have a recommendation that he get on the other side of that? Oh, I got one. Perfect. All right. We've got that and we'll wrap up this week one preview edition of I Want Your Flex coming up next. Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Gods and Company live weekdays at 3 p.m. Eastern 12 p.m. Pacific.

When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying shut up. Don't say anything. Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.

Listen to Big Lives on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get podcasts. Alright, wrapping things up here. Brandon D'Occis, our executive producer. He's my Carmen, I'm Dan Byer, Brandon, streaming defenses. We always put it on the shoulders of our producers. Who's your streaming defense pick for week one of the NFL season? So look, I know they lost their defensive coordinator, but the chargers are playing the Arizona Cardinals in week one. And people say, oh yeah, Jeremiah Lovey's playing Michael Wilson's still good. I am very concerned about that Arizona defense. Harbaugh's defenses are always very good.

I'm concerned about Arizona's defense and offense. I think this is a blowout. I think it's a 20 plus point win for the chargers. And I think their defense forces to turn over. So I'm streaming them. Alright, the chargers are the streaming defense pick. They were a consideration for the points of Paloza, but I do like the running game. You had a Marian Hampton in your top five mic as a running back. So my points of Paloza. Now my points of Paloza is this. If you've forgotten the rules, I can't pick the highest over under. And you may have heard Mike in this podcast mentioned that there was a number at 50 and a half for a game. Well, on the site that I'm looking at, the game that I'm about to mention is at 49 and a half. Now it can vary from different books to books, but Mike, I'm giving myself that grace. Yes, Bengals and Buckeneers were the 50.5 that I saw. So I'm going a step lower and buy your rankings and your ninjas. I think you're right there with me. Saints Lions is my points of Paloza for week one. It's one of the games I'm most forward looking forward to watching.

Right? I mean, I was a shut believer. He's that he's too old. He's too old. Shut up. You can't you can't tell me you need all these starts as a collegiate quarterback and then tell me this guy's too old. I just didn't know he was that good. No, that's my question. No, I that I understand. Very loved him. Carrie loved him. He told us. Yeah, because it's one of the nine colleges that shook play that. So that's that's don't get it twisted. Hey, you know what? You got some home love. You got to have that. Yeah, no, that game's going to be fun. Oh, I'll I'll give you a fun game for a survivor. There may be only one opportunity to pick this team and it wouldn't come until about week 16. You have an opportunity in week one. If you really want to have fun and you really want to put it out there, you really want to lay out the you know what? Give me the Raiders over the dolphins. All right. I have that in the lead to let's go. You're going to see a lot of charger picks.

I think you're now going to see the Steelers was going to be my pick mic before the two of injury. Now I think you'll see people piling on Pittsburgh, but you're not going to be picking the Raiders for most of the years. So why not start out in trying to get off on a really good foot and survivor. Pick the Raiders at home against the dolphins there minus their minus three. Raiders are the favorite in that contest and when are you going to be able to pick them in a survivor pool? Maybe week 16 in home against the Titans who knows? Yeah, give me the Raiders. I have that in a survivor pool too. I like that pick. I'm in nine survivor pools and I'll be out by week six. Yes. I am in I am in nine of I think nine eight or nine. I think I took the Steelers in one and then you know they're playing the Falcons and I took a safe one and then I took the Raiders. It's the the chargers are going to be a very popular pick as well because of that enormous point spread. But yeah, if you want to get out and separate yourself from everyone else go put some on the Raiders if you want or in a week one.

Yeah, because you're looking at the Steelers are going to be you know, right near with the old Tomlin line is the expectation of the eight nine wins, right? You know, it's funny just on that game guys. Two was declared out the point spread moved either a half a point or a point depending on whether you're shopping. Like normally quarterbacks, right? Yeah swings between starters and backups. Here goes one to three tells you no all you need to know about two in the value. We were wondering if he was going to get benched and cut after week one. Now he's not even going to play. So his life in the NFL. All right, we've made it week one is here. We will catch you on the other side. We'll get our week one recap to you early next week after the chiefs take on the Broncos on Monday night football. So for branded do it your executive producer and Mike Harmon. Again, you can hear him Saturday nights Sunday mornings to Eastern to a.m. Eastern 11 Pacific with your own showing addition to being with Jason Smith on the Jason Smith show with Mike Harmon week nights here on Fox Sports Radio.

You're going to be a busy man this fall, Mike Harmon. I'm trying to get that voice a little bit deeper deeper deeper because then eventually I'll start taking it through the night with slow love songs. I can't wait. All right, so for Mike and Brandon, I'm Dan Byer. We'll talk to you on the other side of week one here and I want your flex. Good luck.
