This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana. Jeremy Cole, Hank Paschek McDonald. And we're the hosts of the artist on artist on artist podcast. The improvised character comedy podcast, where each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. He gets right up next to the microphone. I hear you get the almost here. The eyelashes hate each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artist on artist on artist every Thursday on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. I survived nine months in captivity. And I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable,

abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Why are you dealing with listening to harm, strong and getting under man? We're not boring. Lot of news is boring. And tedious and depressing. And makes you angry. You don't want to live your life like that. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty. We're Armstrong and Getty. We try to bring you the truth and help you figure out this crazy modern world. How about something about a comedic tone? What? We have a winner? Yes. Listen to Armstrong and Getty on demand on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. College football will hijack your weekend, ruin your sleep and break your heart. And that's why we make the Solid Verbal College football show. I'm Ty Hildenbrand. He's Dan Rubenstein. Every week, we preview the games that matter in the storylines that are going to ignite your group chat.

And you can join us in the aftermath as we react to what happened, why it matters, and how the sport went completely bonkers yet again. Listen to the Solid Verbal College football show on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, it's Bobby Beones. Join me and former NFL quarterback Matt Castle every Wednesday on our podcast, Lots to Say, with me, Bobby Beones, and Matt Castle. You're in training camp and the rookie quarterback has one good throwing session in front of the media. Suddenly, everybody online says he should start over your week one. How do you handle this? You just go back out to practice the next day and wait for him to mess up. Listen to Lots to Say, with Bobby Beones and Matt Castle on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. For the best. For the best. See you in our three. Thank you, Fox Sports Radio Nation. May I love you guys this show. It's a natural content backed by some CRBS.

The Niners Rams in Australia. Well, first story breaking today, I'm sure DB was all up on this. Aaron Donald is not going to be in that game, but you're big, you know, the big goon you mentioned before, Big Mike. Yeah. Did you really think he was going to travel? I'm like, I don't know, dude, from for all minus. I did. I'm a Niners fan. I was thinking, yeah, probably. But Aaron Donald, they made the announcement. They just want to get a more reps, right? DB bigger picture. Well, this is, I actually am on board with you guys. I thought if Aaron Donald wanted to come back, why not come back week nine? I mean, just play half the season without them. And then when you really need them in games. So for him to come back and I understand why they did it after training camp and setting the roster. And then they can add them to their to the roster after they make the necessary cuts. But I was, I wouldn't play for two months, guys, to be honest with you. So it's either one or the other. So he am not playing week one when he's there in training camp is a bit a little bit surprising to me. And to me, and this is how I wish the game goes.

Imagine the Niners just have a little, a little more time in the pocket than you thought. Or they don't play as are able to develop and you imagine Rams fans are like, well, Donald was there too. I hope that's the story because you're not putting this guy in one of the games on the calendar. If you're a Rams fan, two against your sea hawks and two against the Niners are four of your most important games all year. Yep. For sure. And if he's sort of ready, I think he's got to get the rust out. You know, then then, then, then, then, then, then, then, then hold them for the playoffs. And then midway through, get them warmed up and for the for the rock. Well, originally when that was a rumor, that's what we sort of thought was going to happen. Right. So that's the story today, Aaron Donald, not playing with the team in Australia. But then last week, Danny G touched on this. And this is part of the story too is the strategies, the two different blatantly different strategies between your 49ers and the Rams. The Rams leave today. Your 49ers got their last Wednesday. Right.

But Catherine is talking about how great the coffee is. Right. You know, they got there on the second. Today's the chase. So we're talking about green law, completely different strategies. Green law is asking questions about Antarctica. Like, they been there a while. It's really, really interesting to see which one pans out to be the best option. You know, because there's benefits of being there and acclimating. But there's also benefits of getting there late. And then, not letting the, what would you say, letting the, the, the, the time. Yeah. Well, you know, the jet lag jet lag gets you on your return. Okay. Right. So there's two ways to look at it. But first, before we try to figure it out, there's breaking news. Something big. Breaking news from Fox Sports. And I know what happened. We got in your ear. We said breaking news and you lost your train of thought. Kind of. Oh, two different times. Remember, you guys talked about Baker Mayfield playing with that chip on his shoulder,

because that's what he does. Yeah. Chip gone in its place. A three year contract extension. Both the NFL network. And ESPN reporting that the Buccaneers and Baker Mayfield have agreed on a three year extension. Terms numbers on the contract. Not in just yet, but Baker Mayfield locked up with a three year extension. He was my second quarterback pick in the guillotine league yesterday. And you know why I picked them 54 million a year? No, but I picked them because I wanted them to be hungry, dude. I feel like that takes the hunger. Who's your QB1 pick? Even though I have to back press guy. People say maybe an MVP season for him. So, hey, you know what? I'm very happy for the guy, but I feel like, you know, like. I hate to play examples. No, you sometimes, you know, I don't want to see dangling the carrot, but it keeps people hungry, man. Yeah, but then she gave him that like midseason around. Yeah, at the end of the year, I think I think what you otherwise, I think he's playing. He'd be playing sort of frustrated with the people above him. No, I'm so happy for the duties earned it. So I'm not trying to take anything away from that, but that's big news.

Good for Baker. But I do, I do believe playing with a chip on your shoulder could give you some of that fire. Some of that. Or now he plays with a sense of sense of respect. Yeah, yeah. So, hey, man, that's awesome. Knowing that he doesn't have to necessarily prove anything, but again, you're thinking, oh, maybe he should want to have to prove something like that could give you so many examples, but a personal example, right? My daughter's cheer coach never really compliments her. Never really tells her she's doing a great job. So, I'm glad he coaches job and keep you motivated, you know, keep you in the zone. Keep you wanting to push yourself harder and push yourself further. Don't look for that compliment. And I feel like, you know, by being indifferent with the contract, it keeps a player fired up. Even though it's not, I'm not saying that's fair. But what was he playing for? You know, to prove everybody wrong and playing for himself again. But I'm happy for him. I am. Now, back to Australia, mate.

Well, yeah, the two different strategies. Yeah, what, what, what did Edelman say about the opposite strategy, like the Rams leaving today, Danny J. He was on Coward, right Danny? And Edelman said that you're, you remain on your time, meaning, meaning if you, if you never have time for jet lag, you never have time for the jet lag. You know, like if you take a quick cross-country trip, if you never really adjust to the new time zone and it's a quick trip, it does really mess with you. So in other words, the 49ers, yeah, they're acclimated now and well-rested. But when they come back, they'll take a second. Yeah, they're going to be all out of sorts. That's okay because you know, they play weak to the Cardinals. Ah, you know, I'm sure that factor's in a little bit and you know how rich feels about the Cardinals this year. So I can't wait for that game. We're just saying one win the whole season. So your thoughts on A, which do you think is the better strategy now that we're seeing it unfold as the Rams are actually getting there, they're leaving today, right?

I mean, they're leaving me while, like I said, you've seen the 49ers chilling out there for a week and then another layer to the story of the game in Australia is why aren't we there? Why aren't we supposed to go? No, I'm just kidding. Raheem Morris missed his birthday, which is always like a, a, a mind F for me. Is there another proper term for that? No, I don't think so. Yeah, you also saw the clip that's gone viral of Kyle Shanahan trying to figure out the futures. Dude, because, like, maybe there's not a lot of world travelers out there, but even when I was in Japan and career recently, like, you're in the future. You're in the year 5,000, but you're what? 13, 16 hours ahead or something ridiculous. So you're in the next day already and you're essentially in the future. And it messes with you, it messes with your mind so much because you're checking in at home, you forget what day it is. And it's not. It's not like you just have, you know, some friends are failing in an area in a, in a, in a zip that's in a different time zone.

It's a couple hours. So for example, Morris left on the second, September second, arrived on the fourth into the future ahead. So he missed his birthday on the third completely and not just any birthdays, 50th birthday. Raheem Morris gets no birthday. He gets no birthday. He didn't celebrate. It's like a leap year. He never let me. I just treat it like a leap year. So he, he still say he's 49. He got no birthday, Sam. Yeah. He missed it. Or did it. I don't know that works. I guess it didn't. Yeah. That beats me. You know, he never lived it. I don't know how that works. But it's very confusing. And maybe that's the word I was looking for confusing. Yeah, that's the word that's the problem. You know, I'll say this. You said it before the show. There's no more indication of someone in your life that doesn't travel when they can't understand simple time zones because this is for people that travel quite a bit. They're professional athletes. They're ballers. They do all the travel in the world. It gets confusing when you are in different days and 16 hours ahead or 12 hours ahead.

Australia, that's a, that's a whole different ballgame. Do we all talk to my uncle Joe, which was just yesterday. We have friends of family here are so confused. Rich and I have been out here for over 10, well over 10 years now. I've been out here since my daughter was born. She's 16. Talking to my uncle Joe on the East Coast and East Coast people especially are so East Coast centric. No other time zone matters at all. I know because I grew up there. But till this day, not only Uncle Joe, but my parents will say, what time is it there again? I mean, what do you mean what time is it there again? It's always three hours earlier on the West Coast. That doesn't change. That one's not hard to figure out. But there's some, but it is for people that don't travel. No, I know. There's some like Midwest in sort of East of the Midwest states where you're like, are they central time? Are they East Coast time? How am I talking about that? Yeah. Yeah. West Coast should always be yes. So track three if you're on these coasts. But we're saying, if people get confused by that, then this is a little confusing because I give you in shanty hands trying to figure out what days to go over game plans. It's not even a little bit of a day to put it in perspective.

It's 215 on the West Coast, which means it's 515 on the East Coast, right? On a Tuesday that feels like a Monday, not to confuse you. I don't get it. But in Sydney, Australia right now, it's 715 AM tomorrow. So it's Wednesday. Yeah. What? So it's a 17 hour difference. What the hell? Yeah. I know. So it's very confusing when they're talking to people back home or their family members. So that's just another added layer to what's going on with the game. I don't be confused. But hey, it's going to be a great game. Niners, a Aaron Donaldless Rams team, which I love that. I mean, anytime you could avoid, anytime you could avoid having to face Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald, which a lot of teams are going to have to face this year. You know, put away all the memes. How many memes did you see of like Brock Purdy like smushed on the ground between Miles Garrett and Aaron Donald? Just smith those memes. Irrelevant. The Niners are going to be fine. Any theory on what strategy is going to pay off though and benefit?

Like if you're there in Australia, maybe are you wasting time sightseeing? No, but I think they're not doing. I think they're just really acclimating and taking it in and adjusting in advantage 49. I would think so, man. It seems like a weird rushed nature to what the Rams are doing, but it's I don't know. Think about, I mean, I know our industries are different, but think about like some crazy big live broadcasts or concerts you've hosted. Do you want time to really be there and sit there and think about it and dwell on it? Or do you want to just arrive and get on stage and do it? Ah, I see what you're saying, right? You don't have time to like get in your head. Exactly. Well, you just show up, play, go home. Point spread is Rams by three and a half. I think that my shift to three without Aaron Donald, I think it'll be a field goal. That big game. And I don't think it moved based on them traveling certain ways. I think no one really knows the answer, right? So I'm excited about that. Super fun to see and it all goes down. Manana. Perfect. No, actually, actually, yeah, in two days, but then no, no, if you're in Australia, it goes down.

Manana. Yeah, but they get it all straight. Like 2010 LA person in New Yorker. I'm just going by what they said at the press conference. I think it might have happened already. But they didn't have one. Yeah, they're in the future. So I'm not sure. I'm confused. Every two look it up. Let me know. And I'll, I'll meet you with Jeff Kings. All right. We got more. Convenient. We know one thing. Buffalo Wild Wings doesn't have it on any of their screens. No, they probably won't. They're probably guys. I don't know what to tell you. But hey, tomorrow, DBC Hawks Patriots will get to that in a little bit. Well, there's, we'll do a bunch of NFL today. And of course, recap what went down the street. Oh, yeah, in St. Schedule watching. Of course, we keep pushing that off. What's up, D. Bay? The Baker Mayfield numbers are in $55 million. I was close per year, three year extension worth 165 million. Good for him, man. He earned it. That's a hard work paying off. That's a big, I mean, when you think about, wasn't that one year deal? 1.1, what eight million we learned on quarterback? We, we were reminded, right? So when he, that's so good for him. Good for him. Yeah. Good for him for real. And his wife who stands by him and really is supportive.

It's a happening. It's happening. So I'm Kavino. That is rich. Danny G. Sam Buyers here. Hope you had a great Liberty weekend. Hopefully had a, maybe a Baker Mayfield type extension. We get better on himself. Now he's getting paid. But like Dan Buyers said in the breaking news, that chip, that Tolstito we had, that Pringle can on his shoulder is gone. But like you said, Rich, now he's playing like a respected man of confidence. You bet on yourself. I know. That's nice. Now he's looking at the Baker Mayfield, making $55 million a year. 55 million. Now we always know quarterback's always next best, you know, next guy up, but he's in that category now with Josh Allen, Jordan Love, Trevor Lawrence and Joe Burrow, just behind Dac and Patrick Maholam. So, a listen man, if you do believe that Baker Mayfield's a top half of the league quarterback, right? You're talking about, is he a top 16 out of 32 guys in your mind? Guys got fight, man. Players play behind them.

I think so. Top 16 of 32. Yes. Yeah. Right. I mean, everyone's got their, their different list, but I think it would be hard to say he's not a top half of the league quarterback. I think the better fantasy quarterbacks that you talk about. But when you talk about actually playing the position, I think he would be top half. So there he is, making $55 million. So congrats to him. And can I just reiterate two things from our previous discussion? Yeah. I really do think it's hilarious because I got to mention this again. 49ers defensive coordinator Rahim Morris, who you like. I think he's a great, listen, if you're going to lose Robert Salah and you're going to lose coordinators along the way, Rahim Morris is a really, really good dude, great coordinator. And just turn the big five. Oh, but or did he turned 5, I don't know, turned 50 years old on Thursday, September 3rd. It also happens to be the day of the 49ers food Australia leaving Wednesday night, September 2nd arriving Friday, September 4th, local time. So the 49ers lost the day, but Morris lost his 50th birthday. I mean, that's what's a chance of what's the chances of your 50th birthday being the

day that's erased on your international 16 hour flight, but to really bring home the confusion. Not wonder if Mike Evans got through all the, did he, did he mention, did he get through all the Harry Potter movies? He said he was going to watch the law. Probably. But you know, there's so much confusion with the time difference with the game in Sydney. And to time science with Kyle Shanahan. When I look at my clock and it says the time, and then I try to see my family's time, and then it says the time, but it says yesterday, I don't even get how that's possible. So I feel like I'm in the future. And then also when we play on our Friday, which I think is the Thursday in the US where such creatures have it. So I call today Tuesday. No, wait, sorry, I call today Wednesday, which is the first day we put in a game plan. But I think it's Monday, however, though it's Sunday and the present. So like, I'm going to mess that up all week. Maybe you guys asked me, but today is just our first day of the game plan, which is a Wednesday. We'll put in some on a Thursday Friday's the final part of the game plan. Saturday we walked in when we play on Sunday, which is a Friday in Australia on a Thursday and on the US.

So don't ever make me do that again. That's that's time science with Shanahan. And you know, to confuse you even even further, it's a Tuesday here in America that feels like a like a Monday, but yeah, we got a little tomorrow. You're dopey uncle. No offense to Joey. Can't figure out your three hours behind in Los Angeles. Always. Like that doesn't change. It's three hours. It's three hours. I think it thinks the minutes change or something. I'm like, dude, I've been here how many years now. Oh my goodness. Anyway, I say that respectfully, but it is a little confusing. And I think the fun part of of the story is the two different strategies. Again, the Rams left today, 49ers left last week. In my theory is this, I do think the 49ers have the better strategy. I do because they're acclimating. They're going to get the rest they need. There's no hustle and bustle and rush of getting there. But the 49ers also come back using the C word, the way Australians do. Oh, because they love the C word. They do. They use the F word.

Australians love the like live. They live throw around a word that is like probably the worst one of the worst. That's their favorite word. The worst curse words here in the States. Australian throw around that C word. We're pretty tight with some Australian dudes. And it's like, yo, man, chill out with that word. The Brits love that word. Oh, the Brits are straight. They're one in the same kind of like, you know, some background. So rich. I predict. Got a kid. Brock, he's going to drop some naughty language. Yeah. Kittles and to come back with a word. Boy. So anyway, can I give you one other wild story on the 49ers adventures? I thought this was fake at first. 49ers player gets cut after flying 16 hours tall Australia. And then he was sent home like it was a fantasy date on the bachelor. You know, sometimes they go on these dates on a dating show. And also, and it's like, yeah, I choose her. And some random girls like sit on a mountain by like yourself. They couldn't let them stay. Yeah, he chose the other girl.

And she has to take a like a one way flight back by herself. But yeah, the only thing worse than getting cut by an NFL team is having to fly 16 hours. That's what happened to 49ers tight end. Braden Willis on Saturday. He was released to make room for long snapper John Weeks who was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad. So this dude, Braden Willis, hopefully ends up on a practice squad or a team somewhere. But they couldn't figure that out. They for I know. How does that work? That seems ridiculous. That's cruel. Yeah, that's the weakest. Yeah. He flew 16 hours landed. And they're like, hey, we got some bad news. And they right back. Man, he missed for he was more his birthday and like a few days. No, there's an update. It says he he cleared waivers and the Niners resigned him to the practice squad. Yay. Yeah, that's worth it. That's probably because he would take him forever to get back to being able to join another team. There have been guys who have been cut the the night before the Super Bowl. Yeah. Brutal. Yeah, it's happened where it's like guess what?

I got some bad news for you. We're activating someone else. Yes, it's happened. Is that because there's an injury and they're more concerned about filling that injury from the practice squad and then the maybe a backup position could be a lot of reasons. Could be injuries. Could be like we decided in our game plan. This is we're going to need this extra this or that. Yeah, that's that's why he probably probably stretching out like all here. You know, get. Yeah, imagine if he didn't clear waivers. That would have been a long flight to his new practice squad. I know this is like a weak story, but it's a true story. My girlfriend got called up by a producer and that's what he said he was. No, no, no, okay. But he goes we want to get you on a flight to Malta so that you can accompany your friend was on a reality show like this dating show. And they're like we need like her friend. You're her friend. We need you out here for filming of this episode because this is not close. Malta is like another like 16, 17 hour flight or something ridiculous.

I don't even know where it is on the globe, right? You're not going to do well on where the world is coming to. Yeah, huh? So I'm like, wait, so you're going to fly all the way to Malta? She's like, yeah, my best friends on a reality show and they need like her friend there for whatever reason. I don't even know why they said they're going to fly me there. So she drops everything drops a gig that she had. She had to work. She dropped work through all the way to Malta to get there to find out that her friend was eliminated from the show. How the time she got there. So she flew all the way there for no reason. Hello, she there. I forget that. Like, like, for the rest of the week and her whatever, but still she went there to be there to company her friend on this show and her friend got eliminated from the show. I'm like, I'm going to wait. Enjoy Malta for 24 hours. I'm like, get back. So you didn't even get on TV or nothing. She's like, nope, nothing. I'm like, it was such a waste. So anyway, true story, but things like that happen. So speaking of football, we're super pumped. This starts tomorrow, right? There was a major controversy last night. Actually this weekend, I'm sorry that we got to address in the world of college football.

Yeah, no, anything we missed, but we don't want to harp on because you've heard it at Nazim and say, so there's two stories in college football. I do want to get to. There's our 18 games left. Well, let's go. Even think I wouldn't be pumped to be. But Friday, Kavino and I are going to be at city field. I'm sorry, not city field, Yankee Stadium for met Yankees, the 25th anniversary of 9-11. To be honest, I would rather judge in the lineup. Well, you know, right? And so does so. The fact that they'll both, you know, have full squads is awesome. I'm not, Moncian, I will be in for you that day. If we could have one of you call in, that would be great. I was going to see if that would be okay with you because it's also the day after the Niners Ram. So ritual calling because I'll be screaming for Aaron. John, I hear the bad guy. So that's rising for you. Oh, all right. Thank you. And by the way, imagine standing up, Sam. All right, it's time for Showtime, Mahomes trivia. Let's go. The mostly lovable Patrick Mahomes. Truth is, I want everybody to love me, not just the refs.

It's time for some NFL trivia. I'm here. I'm here. Yes. We know you're here. All right, Patrick Mahomes here. Play Showtime, Mahomes trivia. All right, all right. FSR Security walking our broken Mahomes into the main studio. Talking so much smack. What? Me, I got a dream. Hey, big dreamer, bro. You got a big head. Big dreamin. Whoa. Because you're really high on your 49ers. Are you know what? You're just really high, bro. Really high. Seven. I gave you 10 and seven in a while, over your Niners and yeah, your 49ers and your Raiders and everybody else. Patch Mahomes here. And ACL, LCL feeling fine. In fact, I'm feeling asymptomatic. Ready to go. I heard spags on Stu Gotts earlier today and he said you look great in practice like you would never hurt. Feeling spelt, feeling good, asymptomatic. Is that what Chuck said about his rip? No, that's what I said about my ACL and LCL. All right, COVID boy. Oh, yeah. So big week.

I'm happy to be here with you. Let's meet the contestants 27 time winner, Rich Davis right over there. Yeah, let's go. This guy and 24 time champion Dan Byer in the house. Hello. DB. Looking to win a CNR tailgate prize back. Let's go to the studio lines. DB, I'll use you for this. Would you love to travel to beautiful Syracuse, New York or Lando, Florida, Pittsburgh, Kansas? Good year, Arizona, Sacramento, California or Miami, Florida. I have to go to Rich's alma mater of Syracuse, right? Thank you. Thank you, D&D. That is Mark. Hey, Mark. Hey, Mark. Hey, guys, how you doing? What's up, buddy? Mark, are you ready to try to redeem yourself? Mark played a couple of weeks ago and he lost and he's been trying ever since to get that prize back. Mark's through a demon's self. So it's Kelsey. So my, I know. Got plenty, got plenty of guests in the tank. Here we go. All right, rules for Showtime, a home's NFL trivia. The first contestant with two correct answers is the champion. If there's a tie, we have a tie breaker question. Your name is your answer, but you got to wait until all three possible answers are ready. If there's two wrong ones in a row, we move on to the next question.

Are you ready? All right. I'm here. Get it on. We're going to go a week. Let's go. Which quarterback holds the NFL record for most consecutive games with at least one touchdown pass? A, Brady, B, Drew Breeze or C, Peyton Manning. Mark, Mark, B, Drew Breeze. Yes. Yeah, she's like that. She's got 54 consecutive games. Mark halfway to a price pack already. We go to round two. All right. Patrick Mahoms here. Which wide receiver was the first player in NFL history to record 1600 receiving yards and back to back seasons? A, Jerry Rice, B, Calvin Johnson or C, Tyree Kill. Rich. Rich. Mark. Not Rich got in there first. I was like Megatron, Calvin. No. Oh, no. All right, Mark for the steal and the win. Oh, A, Jerry Rice. No, you're both losers. I knew it wasn't Jerry Kill. He had 1,710 yards in 22 and 1,799 in 23.

Little baller. Yeah, Tyree Kill. All right. We go to round three. Mark, the only one on the board so far. All right. And if the weak Patrick Mahoms here, show boy Mahoms trivia. What was I once quoted saying about mistakes? A, mistakes should find their way out of your system in practice. B, you can't be scared to make a mistake. Or C, I made the mistake of celebrating after I thought Max Krausev was traded out of the AFC West. What was that one? Quotate saying. Mark got in there. Mark for the win. A, A, no. Bire is next up with a steal. And I was going to help him out. I was going to try to I'll take B. Yeah. You can't make a mistake. Michigan and I don't even want to. Oh, you don't know. There was zero point zero. All right. And by or both on the board, we go to round four. All right. Round four, Patrick Mahoms. If it wasn't for getting injured, I'd have this record. Which 2B has the most career rushing touchdowns in NFL history?

Is it A, Cam Newton, B, Josh Allen, or C, Jalen Hertz? Mark, Mark for the win. Hey, Cam Newton. Yes. Man, I can't handle you. You got it. Wait a minute. You yourself just like we're going to redeem ourselves. We're not going to be 10 and 7 like this bonehead said. Trust us. Trust us. Mark it. Much better than that. By the way, Cam Newton had 75 rushing TDs. Yeah, Mark, you have the floor. I just want to see real quick. Danny and I were just talking with both Raider fans. No one ever got screwed by the rest of the bad as the Tucker Rull. The Tucker Rull, that is that is a screwed by the rest. It's in our night. What's your mission? You're in grab for the screw this weekend. Tucker Rull stays in our night, nightmares. All right. We have a prize pack ready and sent out to Syracuse, New York. Mark, you are finally in the win column. Congratulations. Thanks, buddy. All right, guys, let's go, Chiefs. All right, guys. Have a great football season. I'll pull your teams loose. Let's be ready for Chiefs. Good luck to you and your opener. All right, guys. Later.

How's it going over there, man? Is this sticky weather, batwing weather, what's going on? Dude, I just got to the Series XM building. You know, we got our friendships with Series XM. I'm doing the show from here. When I tell you, I bumped into like five people that I hadn't seen in maybe five to 10 years. Meanwhile, I'm trying to like get up to set up for the show. There's two ones you got to know, bro. Ready? I'll give them to beat it.

You got places to go. Beat it to old co-workers that we haven't seen. Yeah, you know why? Because you're on the air nationwide, like the warehouse, nationwide on Fox Sports Radio. Okay, Fred, Greco, see you. I gotta go, Scramble Amidding Dome. So when there's a dude or a female coworker, that you haven't seen the decade and like, oh my God, great to see you. You could be like, beat. You're giving the handgime. Say, hey, great to see, little fist pump, thumbs out. I gotta go beat it. Solution. Yeah, man, you don't have time for all that. We're just getting around. I bumped into our old pal Rob Cross, who's a radio dude on the East Coast. Yeah. He's like, I heard you were talking about my Arizona cart. I was like, oh, my talking about him. He wasn't here today. I talked to Rob about this. He actually left some comments on our social media pages. By the way, the NG has posted some really great clips about, you know, our predictions this year that incorporate the entire Fox Sports Radio team and family. So check them out at Covino and Rich. You went off on the Cardinals recently and our old boss, boss Cross, our old pal from Series XM.

He's like, yo, dude, I want in on it. And if the Cardinals win more than one game, I get a stake too. His ass riches prediction. You know, let me tell you, we're gonna go over all our predictions today. Bumping into all types of people, blast from the past and the sentiment is the same from everyone. So glad you and Covino are killing it at Fox Sports Radio. So, yo, yo, good damn. Skippy we are. And by the way, can I tell you, I pulled the Doc Emmett Brown slash Clark Griswell. Do you know what that means? You know, there's a theory, speaking of sports, the Doc Emmett Brown's sole purpose of creating the time machine was to change the outcome of the World Series. That's like a... I think it was to get the Cubs to win or something like that because he was a Cubs fan in the movie. There's a whole theory that that's the reason why. Like that's why he was doing it. Let me tell you this. Let me get this out the way and we're good into our predictions. I pulled a Clark Griswell slash Doc Emmett Brown. Marty!

Great Scott! When I tell you, I popped up here, after saying hi to all our old friends, bummed I didn't see Adam Schein. You usually see that guy. Well, it's the G.C. Anybody that people might know in the radio world? I didn't see Mad Dog. I was just popping around. And I finally... That's a say-ah! I finally said the energy. Guys, I love you. I'll talk to you later. I got to plug in, because you know when I go live, nationwide on Fox Sports Radio, they're like, go, go, go. Yeah, you got to put your head down and just march to the studio. Rich Santa Text to Iowa Sam and I that said, coming, I'm like, where is he at? Yeah, because he's the good guy. That wants to pal around with everybody. Danny G, if you think I'm too yappy at Fox Sports Radio, do you know how many people are here in like a big, serious exam building? It's... I can't walk down the hallway. I was mayor McCheeze back in the day as Kavino. I mean, you still are mayor McCheeze. So anyway, I get to the studio. I get to the office, they set me up in. And I plug in and I'm not getting all the studio pop-ups,

Kavino, that's all inside stuff. But like, when you plug in this device, or broadcasting device, all the studios pop up. You're not seeing the speed dial for Fox Sports Radio? I'm not seeing the little connection for FSR and I'm like, uh-oh, and I immediately got that nervous stomach. I'm like, no. No. And I unplugged. I unplugged and plugged in like four times. And then finally, props to our old pal, Pepitone, who's one of the producers at Series XM. He's like, yo, plug it in here and I did it one last time. And as it connects, I hear Dan Byers update and I was like, oh. I thought you were going to bang your head on the device and then it worked like the Gloria. No, meaning like document brown, Clark Rizzle putting those two wires together last minute. Right here we go. All right, so thanks, we're all connected, ready to roll. Oh, of course. Here's to the NFL season, game once, and night super pumped about it. You're super bowl rematch, pads and Seahawks. We're going to break it down.

Plus, Rich is super pumped about his team tomorrow. It's an action pack week, but we kick it off with our predictions. It's an annual tradition. Yes, it is. And props to Dan Byers who started this years ago at the network. Yeah, Dan, can you tell us again? I know we did this last year, but you know, this is our fifth year at Fox Sports Radio. Coming up on our fourth anniversary in afternoon drive. Yeah, fourth full time. Dan, did you create this when the world lived in black and white? Was it this wasn't from the 1900s? Was this like post right post COVID or pre COVID? He's dealing with some breaking news in there. Oh, wow. Oh, oh, so how long has this been going on? Oh, Danny G, like way before COVID. Oh, yeah. Oh, this is, this is, I think he said 15 years old. Oh, wow. It's been going on that long. All right. So, you know, it's everyone's AFC pick, NFC pick. You're super bowl champs. You're out on a limb. You're hot take essentially. We're MVP and more and we do it every year.

So I say we get right into let's go and I will say I'm always fires up some NFL films music as we get set for what really is we just came out of Labor Day. I feel like this is the real national holiday tonight. Oh, yeah, kids are back to school, Thornton, Melon style NFL begins. That's right, Patriots at the Seahawks. And we fill in the in studio prediction sheet. Oh, buyer got freed up right now. buyer how many years now would you estimate you've had this in studio. I would say it's probably about 15. That's what I guess. And everybody's fired up for it because we could see everybody's pick. It's all written out in the studio. We could see what we filled in. And you know, some bragging rights involved. Yeah. There should be more of a penalty for people that were like so wrong about it. But you know, it's, it's a really cool tradition. D.P. started it. It's eliminated. D.P. even laminated down after the season begins. So you want to know, you want to hear the story about the lamination? Yes. It's twofold. Please. Number one, it's to prevent people from changing their picks.

Number two, it also protects the sheet from all the food and drink that people walk in and put on the counter. Yeah. That's what's important part. Protecting it from the trash. Inevitably, there'll be some grease stain at some point covering some of the picks. But it is twofold. It's a year. Two. And by the way, once the list is, once we cut it off, I will cut off the remaining entries because we had people used to fill in the blank entries that may have been left over. If we had a couple of blank spots, those will be eliminated. Well, Dan, I then I'll have to tell everyone the daily reminder. I don't know if it's like this where you work, but at every radio studio, people think they're Kobe and they try to, they try to throw their half fill coffee cup in the trash. So behind every garbage can, there's stains on the wall. There's stains on the carpet. And you ain't kidding. When you, that sheet, I'd give it one day before, like someone's built her, fill the spills of plate of spaghetti on it. Kobe. All right. We start with Steve Covino. Oh, man, like, pressure is all once it's filled in.

There's no going back. So there's some pressure like you said, this is a lock. All right. So we're starting with the AFC champ, AFC champ. I said it. We posted a video about it today. The bills, man. It's the bills. And here's why second best Super Bowl odds this year, only second to the Rams. But the Rams is such an obvious pick. And I believe in the bills. I do. I'm from the East Coast, grew up with a lot of bills fans. My brother's a big time bills fan, but I'm a big Josh Allen fan and a big Josh Allen believer. And he is the biggest reason it's his season. You need an elite quarterback, like Josh Allen to survive the AFC and his games evolved, right? He could pass, but he's got the legs to make it happen. And to open up the field. So Josh Allen, I believe in him. I believe it's his year. It's his time. He came real close last year. But I also believe that DJ Moore might be the missing piece here. Allen to Moore seems unstoppable.

The dude scored more touchdowns than anyone else. Any receiver on the bills right now. I like it. And now your NFC champ. Oh, I'm not done. Allen. He's not done. Look at DJ Moore. DJ Moore. Can Cade and James Cook? This team's going to cook. No, the bills in the NFC. We already said it. The Rams. I hope they cook better than you. The best you can do is a scribble deck, right? A, but I'm getting better every day, bro. Every day. Okay. Let him cook as the kiddo say, let him cook like James. All right. And now your NFC chance. It's obvious, man. And it's everyone's obvious pick, right? It's the Rams. And I don't know why. I think it just became more of the narrative than anything. Like, oh, man, oh. Donald's coming back. Oh, yeah. Let's go. I really, the Rams, I know they're going to be that weekend's pick in Australia, mate. You know, we'll see what happens tomorrow. You know, Rich, not the blow smoke up your team, but the 49ers are going to give them a go. But I do believe it's going to be the Rams in the NFC. Okay.

Now you're Super Bowl 61 champion. I said it and I meant it. I meant when I said and I said what I meant. Steve Favino's promise 100% and my promise is to the bills. I said it, Super Bowl champs all day every day this year. It's their year. We say more than anything on the show that every team has such a small window to make it happen. This is their window, man. This is their window. All right. And now you're out on a limb. Now, I'm a little tough on this one, bro, because it's like a two fold, two parts. So help me figure out what I'm trying to say here. I think the Cowboys are going to be better than anyone thinks, but I think the reason is that press got I think he's always putting up solid numbers. I feel like a lot of times the season he gets in his own way a little bit. And I think like he gets past all that. Maybe you can write in Dak has the best year of his career. Like, Dak has the best year of his career. What I wrote here is Dak has an MVP season. Oh, okay. Like type season. Wait, that's your what? That's my own on a limb.

Well, no, no, no. I don't know. I don't know. Lim can't be the second highest paid quarterback winning MVP. You don't think I said add on a limb? No. All right. Get this. Like the national narrative though, Rich is that the Cowboys are probably going to have a good season, but I don't know if anybody's predicting Dak to have an MVP season. All right. No, I'll say this. Arizona Cardinals get five wins this season. It's more of an five. Like a pick at the over. I need you need it out on the limb. You're that on the limb. I can't. Those are two like out on a limb. One more. Can I say, Rich, you have the Cardinals winning one game. So I'd say five is definitely out on a limb. Yeah. See over on there's what three and a half. No, it is five is their ceiling for sure. All right. Maybe I could maybe I could tweak my add on a limb since you don't like it. But worst season dolphins. Obviously, I don't see any problem. It's the worst team you're taking dolphins. I'm taking the dolphins. I think they're going to be due to diapers and my actual MVP, your MVP, my actual MVP of

the season. And I already gave you the reason. Josh Allen, man, he's the guy this year. All right. Now Rich Davis, the floor is yours starting with the AFC champ. Yo, my add on a limb should have been Rich's 49ers at the weakest record. How about that? Oh, all right. How about this? Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. The bills. I love the narrative. I love Josh Allen. But I just don't I mean, new coach. I don't know. I just feel like they've been close so many times. I would love to see it. I just don't see it happening. I think New England takes a mini step back. I think they played out of their mind last year. Do you think the Patriots are going to be 13 and 4 again? Probably not, right? Lamar Jackson, new coach, you don't know. Patrick Behalms, he's coming off an injury. You don't know. A symptomatic. Just a lot of I don't know. But you know what I do know? I do know that Joe Burrow is the man is the man. He is. Joe Burrow said that he wants he's, you know, thinking into existence.

He is he's put it out there into the universe. And I'm a believer in Joe Burrow. So I think your AFC champions are the Cincinnati Bengals. Wow. All right. Cincinnati Bengals. And now you're NFC champ. Everyone's so high on Buffalo and Baltimore. And I could, I could see all that, you know, I roles, but I'm telling you, Bengals. All right. Now the NFC. All right. Here's what I'm thinking with the NFC. No team from the the East is strong enough. Eagles little step back. Cowboys little step ahead. But they're both playoff teams, maybe. But nothing happens out of that. I mean, Chicago is a great team. But I could see Chicago losing a battle in the NFC championship game. Not against the Rams. Not against the defending Super Bowl champ. We all know what's coming. The Seattle Seahawks. I'm talking about bang bang. Niners gang. You're so late. 49ers. NFC champ. You know what you're doing and you interrupted me. So I'm going to interrupt you. When it comes to these predictions in these lists, everybody likes to be cute.

Rich made his little cute picks. When sometimes the obvious choice is the right choice. You know, and I didn't go Rams, but I do think the bills and the Rams will be there. Sometimes it's obvious the not fun answer very well might be the answer. And Rich, I'm going to go out on a limb here and think that you're going to pick your Niners as Super Bowl 61 champions. Danny G. I'm calling it the Rich Davis lifetime three feet because the 49ers will now have beaten the Bengals three times in the Super Bowl. One when I was in diapers, one when I was a schoolboy and one when I'm a dad. I'm calling the Niners. I'm probably doing it again when you're in diapers when you're 85 years old. Maybe that's the fourth. Maybe that's the. But no, right now when you're back in diapers, Bengals Niners, Niners win. Niners running the Super Bowl. So it's the trifecta. It's the nine. It's the early 82. It was 80. It was 89 and now 2027. And now Rich Davis, you're out on a limb.

My out of the limb, the highest paid quarterbacks going to be MVP. My out of the limb is that the Seattle Seahawks don't even sniff the playoffs. Wow. Seattle. You can't say that and not watch hard knocks, bro. They got chemistry, dude. All right. Eric, because guess what? Someone's out this year because I think I think all three wild cards are not going to come. I'm sorry. I don't think you're going to get two wild cards from the NFC West. They played too many tough teams. So I think someone's out and I think the out. The Seahawks. So Seahawks out. That's my out on a limb. The defending Super Bowl champs don't even make the playoffs. Wow. And now the worst team. The worst team by far is your one and 16 Arizona card. Wow. Triple in down on the one and 16 quadrupling at least one and 16. Hey, and you know what? If the jets are feeling it, maybe they go O and 17. That's all I'm saying. All right. And now your MVP MVP.

I've been high on this guy only because I think he's going to strike gold. I think you've been high with a period. I I was on the flight last night. That's the story for another day. I've been way high on this guy. And I feel like he's got the special sauce now. Some gold, not fool's gold. Gold in the form of former 49ers offensive coordinator, former Dolphin said coach Mike McDaniel is going to take Justin Herbert to new levels. I think the chargers make a nice playoff run. They don't call it away. But I think it's the year where the charges break through and Herbert is just a machine. He's going to throw for a ton of yards. He's going to look disciplined in the pocket. I think Herbert is your MVP. I like that one. That's cool. So I feel like that's an out on a limb. But yeah, I like it. There you go. Got both Kovino and Rich's in studio predictions. Sometimes the obvious answer is the right answer. I feel like it's boring, but it's true. So like when I see Josh Allen, he has a boring answer. But you know what? I think it's a pretty solid answer. Rich, I like your answer.

Just because I want to keep it fun, man, I'm staying away from anyone that's like a top two favorite in anything. Like to me, that's the one. Yeah, but that's like Rich's big dream and list right here. I did, you know, the big dream and list of the week. So we still got to get to Danny G and Sam. And we'll see what buyer has to say about all this. Yeah, we'll buy our fire back and have the Niners not sniffing the back. Yeah, and you know what? Fox Sports Radio Nation is not fun if we don't involve you. So your thoughts on these picks as we get super pumped for NFL tonight. Ready. I've been ready since first call. I'm ready. I've begun. Oh, hell, yeah. We're ready for some football. Kovino and Rich, it has begun. Danny G, super producing Iowa, Sam on the ones and twos and DB's got your update and his picks in just a minute. Again, Broadcasting live from the Fox Sports Radio studio coast to coast is to show you

love most C in R on FSR. Now Rich, any final words about your week as picks? I really love my I love. My Dan buyer beginning of the season, sheep more than any other year. I love the idea of Herbert MVP. I love the idea of the worst team being the Cardinals. They're going to be one in 16. Seahawks, Missed the playoffs. I love that as my out on the limb. And I'm telling you, the trifecta, the Niners beating the Bengals in the Super Bowl for the third time ever. That's what it's all about, bro. All right. So who's next? Danny G? Sure. Are you ready? I'll go quickly here. AFC champ for me. I'm matching you. Kovino, the Buffalo Bills. I've been writing them in on this in studio sheep for years. They've been knocking on the door for years. This feels like the season Buffalo finally gets it done, gets over the hump and back to the Super Bowl. NFC champ. I'm going to go with the Dallas Cowboys. I love what they did in the draft to boost their defense, especially adding Caleb down so I was wishing the Raiders drafted.

And Jashon Baram. I love that pick. I think with that new defense, along with their talent, their weapons on offense gives them a chance to make a huge leap the season. But the Super Bowl winner, the Buffalo Bills. That would be big ratings, Danny G. A Cowboys Bills Super Bowl would be ratings gold, baby. That would be a classic Super Bowl throwback. Bills finally finished the job. Win it all out on a limb. It's going to be my one homer pick. I don't have three like rich. Well, Danny, that would be a great redemption, you know, Super Bowl as well because the Bills got clobbered two years in a row by the Cowboys back in the 90s. It would mean a little more to them as well as a franchise. You know, I had heard Colin saying, I think he you guys do a better Colin impersonation. He's the steal of the draft talking about steal of the draft. Thank you. Fourth round pick, Mike Washington, Jr. Stars daddy, long arms, fourth round pick turns heads around the league proves to be the biggest steal of the 2026 NFL draft.

He's going to be that Kubeak one, two punch like he had in Seattle. And for my worst team, I'm going to say the dolphins. Because they're not only the youngest roster in the league, but they're paying a ton of money, $183 million to players who aren't even on their team at home. It's not like that's the weakest. Yeah, it's that I heard all season going to take them a couple of seasons to recover. So I could see things unraveling there in Miami. Although I am excited to see what Willis does at the quarterback spot. Wait, Inehorn's Finkle. Finkle's Inehorn. What did you talk about with us? Now I know it's a man. I hope Dan buyer. I hope MVP really quick. The team challenging the Cowboys. Sorry, Rich. I think it's going to be Caleb Williams in Chicago. I think Caleb's going to light it up all season. Do the splits all over the entire league. Caleb Williams is your MVP. Well, he's definitely a bulge maxing. That's for sure. And now Dan buyer with your AFC champ, Dan.

Guys, a lot of deliberation. And I don't mean to pigeonhole myself, but I'm going to take you back to take you back. I don't know about 18 months or so. Nice. And I was making a pick in the 2025 Masters. And it had been a long wait for Rory McElroy to win the Grand Slam. And I just said to myself, I am not going to stop picking Rory McElroy to win the Masters because when he does, I want to be on the winning side of that. Right. And what happened, right? That's what that's what happened. Rory McElroy won. So when the Buffalo Bills finally make it back to the Super Bowl, I don't want to be on the wrong side of that. So give me the Bills, like Steve Kavino in the AFC. Man. Dan buyer, it sucks being on the wrong side of like a casual rooting interest. Like, remember when I played the villain and I was like, go spurs over the nicks. And I feel like I sucked the air into my own fun. Yes. Yes. So I get what you're saying. You don't want to, you don't want the year you finally say, I forget, Josh Allen, that's the year they win. And you can't enjoy it. It's like, I don't want the C.OX to face the Bills and the Super Bowl.

Because then I would all the, if the Bills won, the nation will be going crazy. And then I'd be just miserable as a C.OX fan. I did want to. In fact, I was, I was texting Monty Bolognaus and Kerry Roads because I gave my pick on Sunday on our show of my NFC champ. And I said, you know, the game tonight, I'm wearing my C.OX sweatshirt. Like I am feeling C.OX pride. But I am going with the Chicago Bears. A B and B Super Bowl. Bills and Bears in Super Bowl 61 in Los Angeles. Is it that you're high on the Bears? Or is there something about the C.OX that you're now vibing? I think it's going to be incredibly difficult for them to repeat. Get back in. I think they'll make the playoffs. I think that they will. And I think that they'll win playoff games. But I just think that it's tough to repeat as a champion. And the other reason why I like the Bears is I actually think Chicago could go to LA and win a playoff game. So if the Rams are as good as they are, and let's say they get the number one scene, you're going to have to go to LA.

There would be a lot of Bears fans there. And I think that offense could match what the Rams do offensively. So I do think that the Chicago Bears could have an opportunity. I know there's defenses to question, but no team is perfect in the NFL. So give me a B and B Super Bowl with the Bills and Bears. Nice. All right. And then we go to out on a limb out on a limb. By the way, I think the Bills beat the Bears in Super Bowl 61. I'll just move on from that and tell you this. I've been on this bandwagon through the summer. The Northern Saints win the NFC South. I know it's not an out on a limb, but they were last place last year. Only six wins. I think people expect a lot from the Buccaneers. We talked about yesterday when Baker got his extension, but the Saints are the worst to first team in the divisions this year. And there's always one, right? Yes. It seems to me. There seems to be always one team. Yeah, we've been we tried to talk rich into the Saints a couple of weeks ago. Down we've been waiting for Saint Schedule watching. Oh, we'll go through it.

The orange sure we will. But I do think that's a great out on the limb. All the way, Chuck finished off the season last year. There's a plenty of people high on the Saints. All right. At least enough it's winning that division. Well, absolutely. Worst team. I there are teams that are just going to be bad from the get go. But I don't think any team is going to be worse than the Cleveland bronze. Oh, I give me the Cleveland Browns to be the worst team. I feel that Todd Monkin is a sacrificial lamb. I don't think that they want to win. I don't think that they want to win with Shadour. They don't want to do Sean Watson. They want the number one overall pick. And I wouldn't put put it past the Browns to tank for that number one overall pick. All right. And your MVP. Kind of like I did with the bills. I've said I'm just going to pick this guy until he wins one. Joe Burrow since at any bangles quarterback. I will just continue to pick Joe Burrow until he wins an MVP. It's going to happen in our lifetime. I just don't know what year. So I'm picking Joe Burrow as my MVP. Yeah. I love it. I feel like it's bound to happen, right?

You know, what I love is that we all watch the same games. We all are obsessed with it. We're all going to be watching tonight. Tomorrow, all day Sunday, all nights on day. We've been studying. We've been watching. You've been scrolling on social media. Yet the four of us all have a completely different list. I know. And that's what makes it fun. You know, we'll take a picture of it. You can see it. We'll post it at Covino and red. As soon as we hear Mike Tarekos voice tonight, we are going to be so high. Oh, yeah. And uh, carry underwood going to be kicking off the season. Because for the 14th year in a row, uh, doing the waiting all day for Sunday night, but it's Wednesday night. You get the point. NBC. So 14 years now, uh, carry underwood and her arm or all legs going to be starting the festivities. I also love this tradition. When we make our picks on the air, we immediately get taxed to tell us where it is by random friends or friends that's listening. So yeah, so I looked up and looked at my phone. Oh, let's see. Oh, okay. I'm a moron. So TB bills bears.

Yeah. Covino bills. Rams. Rams. Rams. Yep. I have a I bills cowboys. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I knew if he woke up without a doubt, he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. Their stories about what it takes to make it out alive.

We're talking iconic moments in broadcast history. I'm not just a boxer.

I'm educating. I can talk all week on millions of subjects. And forgotten interviews that change how we see these giants of our culture. When I go on stage, I like to dress as slutty as possible, because it makes me dance better for some reason. I'm Emmanuel Jocci. I'm Kai Wright. And this is Big Lives. Listen to Big Lives on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get podcasts. Do do do do. Old school and 50 hits we throw it back on Thursdays. It was the late 1980s. You know, those photos that people are posting everywhere on social media, the 80s, bro. Yeah, it was. I'm sorry. Is that how they figured out what the cast of wedding singers sure look like? Just put them in the 80s simulator. Yeah, you just got to put the 80s filter on them. It's all the rage.

Now, from 87 to 1990, there was a show on MTV called Remote Control. And it was hosted by Ken Ober, the late great Ken Ober and Colin Quinn. Right, so Colin Quinn was the sidekick. And every once in a while, his buffoon would be on the show. Oh, Xamonoo. And that was a young Adam Sandler, dude. And I didn't know it at the time. I just knew, oh, that dude. Yeah, that guy, right? But then around 93, that CD came out. They're all going to laugh at you. And honestly, it was like one of those very viral before viral was a thing. Yeah, audio experiences that you would play with your friends. And it was very underground. And I would prank people with the things that he was talking about on his CD. That was the one with the longest P. And buddy, I'm good. Buddy, chocolate me, buddy. The buddy conversation. I was 1993. And then in 95, what the hell happened to me came out. His other CD with the Hanukkah song. Oh, that was the idea of the owner, but no car, the button hook.

And a piece of S car, his ode to his car. But 95 is also when Billy Madison came out. And that's when we all really got drawn into the sand, man. Now, I love how the Sam Men never cared about the critics because critics never gave his movies rave reviews, but I'll tell you, I think it's safe to say everyone in the room would put these three movies on the top of their Sandler list. Of course, Billy Madison, happy Gilmore, and Wedding Singer. So with that out of the way, I have a two-part doozy that if you guys want to hit us up, you and I said, what are the quotes, the Sandler quotes that you use till this day. And we've said a bunch of the righty, but you know what? We do a lot of you know. And that's information I could have used yesterday. Like that's what's funny, man, is we use them so much. And I use them so much in my personal life. I'm not even sure which one I use the most. Like so sorry to interrupt might be the one. I don't, but I really don't know. I use them all. You pull it. Oh, you pull it too.

Oh, come here. I'll give you one. You know, often you reference old man Clemens. Oh, you know, trivia question. What's his first, what's his full name? Old man Clemens. Oh, I know. Ted Clemens. I don't know why. It's Ted Clemens because the wife goes, don't put it out with your boot Ted. Ted Clemens, bro. Rodgers old uncle. Poo, I do reference old man Clemens a lot. Do you guys remember, though, the old man from Big Daddy, who is at the bar, he starts giving Adam Sandler crap about like the Jets game. And he's like, uh, don't make me, and Adam Sandler's like, don't make me beat you up. Like I did last time. He's like, that last time was a fluke. Bring it on, woman. Yes. There's always a, there's always a crotchety old man, human. There's always a crotchety crazy old man in most of Adam Sandler's movies. And it makes it so much better. So, you know, those really hit us at a really influential time where we were quoting these things left and right. And again, a time where we weren't oversaturated with social media and options.

So we watched these movies a million times. So we knew every line of the movie. So it became very much a big part of our life. If you are anywhere in our age group, if you're in your 40s, and you went to college in the late 90s, early 2000s, I could promise you you wore the hell out of your VHS or early DVDs of, like I said, Billy Madison, wedding singer, happy Gilmore, throw that in with some Jim Carrey movies. And that was, and some maybe Tommy Boy. That was your heavy rotation at that time. But here's my part two of the question. Besides us wanting to hit you up with the quote you used the most, the most from the Sandman. What would you say your favorite 21st century post 2000 Sandler movie is because there's still a lot of good ones. I have my answer. I don't think I can swim from it either. I bet you know what yours is. Sure. Does it also? You might. Does under. No, does it also. I'll let you say it. But does it start one of your favorite people ever? Hi. It absolutely does.

You nailed it. I think it's so underrated. I think people always leave it out of the conversation. It's funny and it's heartfelt. I love the linger scene with. What's your name Kate Kate Bosworth? No, Kate Beckinsill. Kate Beckinsill. I love that scene. I love Henry Winkler. And I love the movie. Click. I think it's so. How about the heart of the house? What do you want to know? How's that? Because it's funny, but it's really heartfelt and it's real. And it's you know, it's the the Sandman with the fans. And it's 2006 to be exact. So I think it's a really underrated one. I think it's one people like, but not only people talk about enough. And if we're going to talk 2000s, I think that has to be a top three. Like if we're going to say the Sandman is best known for. Billy Madison. Happy Gilmore. And the wedding singer, right? Like for the 2000s, I'd say the click is up there. Top three of the 2000s. Don't don't forget about the movie.

He the first movie he did with Henry Winkler. The Water Boy, which I think is one of the best sports movies out there. I love that one too, but I do. Water Boy is great. Now Sam Danny G. What comes to mind for you for 2000? Sandler gets I want to throw a couple out there. Okay. I have one right off the top of my head. I'll throw one in there. 51states from 2004. Yo, that movie is great. Drew Barrymore and Sandler's chemistry is great. That's the soundtrack. And I always think of why am I drawing a blank on the guy's name? Goonies. Oh, yeah. Sean. Sean acid. Sean acid in that seat in his see through mesh. Alphany pretended like he was like a workout guy. Hey, yeah, that was great. You always think about him in his see through Jersey. I do. Why do you not? And his mesh outfit. I often do. All right. So I'm going to Danny G. 51states, I think is a top three 2000s Sandler movie. I think Kavino, you love this one because there was some Yankee cameos. What about with Jack Nicholson? Anger Manage. Drey movie.

Great movie. I do like it, but you know, I, you know, I think we start entering. What year was that one, Rich? Anger Manage was 03. Really? Okay, because I, you know, I've only seen it. I haven't seen it as much as I've seen the other ones. And I think in the 90s, the difference is like we watched those so much more. Or maybe that's just where you are in life because, you know, once, once I'm hitting the 2000s, I'm really like in my grind. I'm not watching movies. But over again, like I did when I was younger. It goes along with the theory that social media hit in the mid 2000. So any movie post, like the super bad four year old virgin, like, you know, hang over, we weren't watching movies more than once after that. Yeah, I absolutely loved Anger Manage. But I don't think I watched it as much. I'm going to say top three post 2000 Sandler movies. Maybe not now, like 2000 to 2009. I'm a fan of 51states, like Danny said. Click, which you said. And I really enjoyed Mr. Deeds.

I really thought Mr. Deeds was a fun movie. Oh, long fellow. Bring that one up a lot. Oh, you know what I held against Anger Manage, me real quick before you talk about Mr. Deeds? The terrible acting of Derek Geter as much as I love Derek and the rocket. The whole true robber thing always threw me off, even though I still quote it once in a while. Who's Robber? Who's Rob the rocket? Yeah, yeah. Cheaters big line. Who's Robber rocket? I feel like he really didn't lean into it enough. I don't know. And I love Derek Geter. Don't be mistaken. But that part of the movie threw me off. What you got? I was Sammy quickly. Probably won't be remembered in his like top 10 all time. But little Nikki as a bizarre movie with a great cast. I think that one will be because this is weird. It's creepy. It's like, I feel like Sam's the only one that likes it. It's the talking dog yet Kevin Neeland with like a breast on his head. You have the devil, all this stuff. And then a movie that I thought was actually pretty funny was you don't mess with the Zohan from 2008. I like that one too Sam. That's a good one.

That's a good one. That one's fine. And then he's got what's here to this little Nikki, bro. It's probably. You know, it was a cameo and Zohan probably are pal Dan Patrick. But I remember Michael Buffer was in that movie. Do you remember that? No. I don't. I've only seen I've only seen that. It's been a while. That came out no eight. So. But that one was funny. And then it seemed like, you know, they started to slip a little bit. And that's not a knock because this is a tribute. I mean, we obviously love the dude. But it is harder to pick out which ones are the best. I don't think they slipped. Well, yes, they slip, but not. I think because of the way we consume movies now. So if it was on Netflix, you watched it and that was it. Like I'll give you one. I thought blended with Jennifer Aniston and Dave Matthews has a cameo on that. And Terry Cruz, like I thought blended was a great standler movie. No, it's definitely a good one. So now we turn it over to you, Fox Sports Radio Nation, the Kavino and Rich listeners, the carls, the hot cars, the mediocre carls, the mutants at table nine.

Carls, did you say media, ogre? I did say media. That's amazing. So and the mutants at table nine, you sideburns over there. We looked to you to see your answer. Like if we were to make a top three from the 2000s, what would they be? Because again, he really started to hit early to mid 90s. Yeah. If we're going to do 2000s, which are on, I don't, I'm not saying I'm out in Rushmore, we're saying top three. Give us your answers at 87799 on Fox. Cause we all have different answers. And I think they're all pretty good movies. No one, the only one I question out of the ones brought up is Little Nikki. Hey, Stan, do you have any other favorite stinkers or no? I have two duds and I don't want to eye it with Sam this up and take all the answers I already have, I think. We can all, I think even Adam Sandler would probably say that Jack and Jill was an absolute answer. 2000. Hold on now. Is that where as that where Al Pacino has a weird dancing and he needed like money? So he just don't mind if I do. Do you mean donka, donka, donka, donka, donka, donka, donka,

donka, donka, donka, donka, donka, donka, donka, donka, we're seeing. And then the other one is I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry, which I didn't see, but I just, there was a lot surrounding that movie. I don't know. You tell me. I can't tell you a funny story because Kavino definitely remembers. I invited Kavino over to my house one night for some drinks and we're watching a movie just chilling. Oh, date night. Kavino was, uh, Kavino ended up like staying in my house because we were just having fun laughing and stuff. We put on Jack and Jill. And I think my wife and I were just starting to date and we both fell asleep and Kavino is there at my house by himself awake and he's like, I'm watching Jack and Jill and you, you said, there you are sleeping. I'm stuck watching Jack and Jill. These two were snoring on top of each other. I'm at his place. He falls a, they're both sleeping and I'm watching the worst movie I've ever seen. Right. Let me, I, I, I, I grabbed my bag and left halfway through. Like, I woke up and I woke up and I woke up and I woke up. The movie was on and Kavino was gone. And the way is on Kavino was gone. I realized though, Sam, like you have to watch that movie

as if it was made for a four year old. It's like the dumbest movie I think that was ever made. Bearing it. Let me tell you the gap between Jack and Jill and a now pronounced Chuck and Larry. I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry has a 15% rot and potato score, rot and tomatoes. Jack and Jill, three percent rot and you know, I got to say too much. I is the word. That shows you that that I pronounce you Chuck and Larry was like that much better and Jack and Jill is probably the worst movie he made. That's really funny. Not probably is. Well, that's, let's hit up all the calls, man. 877-99 on Fox. We'll do a couple now and then we'll, we'll talk some more NFL, Danny J who we got. Let's start in West Virginia. Fred has a famous, his favorite famous quote from Sam. What up Fred? Well, so, fellas, so, y'all, anytime, anytime there's something that happens and it's just close, it doesn't all the way happen. I immediately go to getting the whole ball. Yep. Are you too good for your home or your home? And that dude, what's crazy about it?

And we have to pay our respects here is that he's 60 years old now and again, 60 is the new 50. He is not like over the hill by any means, but my goodness, I can't believe the sandman who represented youth and humor and he's now he still represents humor, but he's he's he's 60. He's got he's got 60 year old quavals. Yeah, frankly, all right, let's go to Iowa, Tom. Hey, yeah, this is Tom. I'll tell you what my favorite ones, big daddy, water boy and Mr. Deeds, because big daddy, I love is that when he teaches that kid, he's like, can I write my own, you know, ASS or whatever. Yeah. But water boy where he comes out being a hero and Mr. Deeds, where they think he's like a nerd, but he ends up getting them back, you know, so that's probably three of my favorite ones. Hey, that little fun nugget. If I'm not mistaken at the end of big daddy, you know, they're celebrating at uh, hooters, right? Hooters, hooters, yum, yum.

Yeah, we used the party at that hooters because that was the one on West 57th Street in Manhattan. I'm pretty sure that was the one. Yeah. I had pieces of S like you for breakfast. So relax, all right. Oh, dude, you know, that's a, that's a whole other conversation. Like, who was the best film you eat pieces of S for breakfast? Hey, Camino, shut up because you ain't cool unless you pee your pants. Let's uh, let's go to the 109 degree weather Vegas trip. Oh, wait. Hey, what up, Trip Trip Trip. Hey, guys, good to speak with y'all. Uh, I got two that I use all the time, especially at League basketball and some of my shoes and air ball. I'm like, is that regulation from from Patrick, when he shoots the puck and then when the when the teacher walks him when she walks in and third grade, he goes jackpot. We say that all the time. We see some hot girl at where we're like jackpot. You know what, Trip, you made me think of another one that I abuse, use an abuse as if I made it up and it's a part of me. And it's not even a sandwich line, but it's from a sandwich movie. And it's um, I know from experience, dude.

Yeah, it's Chris Farley from from Billy Madison, but they go get it on. Remember we're dealing just as much. Cova never were dealing with like an older person. We say, what's that person's five year plan? Don't die. Yeah. Oh my god. No, Danny G every time we have a caller that's sort of not getting to the point. To today, Jr. So funny. Stay here. Stay. It's great. I can start. All right. Let's go to Mark and Syracuse. Yo, what's up, Mark? Hey, guys, how you doing? Well, I'm being deady actually within a surgery scheme in it, by the way. But um, this is probably not a real great movie on paper, but that's my boy. It cracks me up. It's vanilla ice. Todd Bridges. Yo, Kavino. The whole premise of it, you know, I think we give Mark and Syracuse Kavino and Rich tailgating prize pack Danny. Yeah, of course. Oh, Mark. You're orange men stick together. Mark hang up. Mark hang on the line there.

Because Syracuse sticks together and he's right because that's a later Sandler movie with vanilla ice and his son and Andy Sandberg. That was a later really funny movie that because of because of social media and we don't really watch things over and over. I think that went under the radar is like really funny. That's uh, I think you nailed it. It's because of that. It's because the oversaturation is so we live in a one and done society. It's worth the watch. And that's the other part of this conversation is, you know, now I'm inspired to maybe watch that one because I only seen it maybe once or twice. Do you remember the premise? Sandler was like the studly high school kid and he slept with his teacher and Andy Sandberg was his son from the from sleeping with his teacher. I remember we had Andy Sandberg on the show to promote that.
