We welcome you back to the two guys named Chris show. Maybe Shane and I once again see eye to eye on something we're Guy Fieri men. I was on a cruise once they had Fieri burgers. Delicious. With donkey sauce? Delicious. I don't know what it was. I'll tell you, you're not alone here. Believe it or not, the Guy Fieri burger on the cruise ship has become like a internet legend. It's the first place people rush to when they get on the cruise ship now. It's I gotta go get a Guy Fieri burger. Which cruise ship is he on? Carnival? It was not the Disney cruise. I've been on two cruises. We've been on a Disney cruise. And then I don't think he's Disney with you. I don't know. But there's tons of, you know, internet videos of people like, okay, I know I can't get to my room, but I'm in line to get on the boat early so I can get to Guy Fieri's burger. And then you just see almost like a Disney ride, people rushing the burger spot. It's probably the best cheeseburger I've ever had. I mean, I know that's high prey.

And this is from a man who turned down the best smash burger in South Carolina. I know. When I had it given the chance. I was given the opportunity. Now I was eating heavier when I was on this cruise. And plus I was on vacation. It was like, all right, whatever. You know, I'm gonna have whatever I want. But the Guy Fieri burger, now what is his reputation? Is it like somebody like you who's a foodie? I mean, he loves, he's a diner guy. I mean, that's kind of his name. He does food for the common man. Okay. Yeah. But he's like classically trained in France and everything. So he's a legit real chef. Right. So, and I didn't, I mean, I just had heard the name. I don't know the difference between him and all the other guys, you know. I just know he's a well-known chef. So we walked on there and they said, you know, we have Guy's burgers here at the bar. And so one day for lunch, the first day on the cruise, I got a burger and I thought, this is where I'm gonna be. I mean, I've probably had eight of them. They were so good. Maybe more. I'd have them for lunch and dinner. But it's like, you know, the one you see from the Sonic commercial that looks so good.

Yes. That's what it looks like. That cheese was so melty and so good. Guy fear it. That's the best cheeseburger I think I've ever had. But I only saw it on the cruise ship. I'm glad to know that it is like a really popular thing. Oh, yeah. I didn't know that. We were traveling a good bit over the last couple of weeks. And Rachel pointed out something that has now kind of become something that I noticed. It's the CEO of McDonald's. Yes. Eating the new big arch. And apparently, you know, he took this, I can't remember the man's name. I don't know his name either. But he took, he said, he did a video for the release date and said, you know, I'm gonna eat this great big, big arch here. This is my lunch here. And then he holds it up and he explains what's on the burger. And then it takes what's probably the tiniest bite of a sandwich. Just the front. And he came and has ever taken. That's a big bite. Yeah. I mean, it made it to USA today that he's being mocked online mercilessly. And Rachel pointed that out. Oh, yeah. It was so awkward. And I don't believe he finished that sandwich. Because he's like, this guy's in great shape. He's very thin and all that.

And he's, he probably was like, I'm not eating this crap. Yeah. He was just making the promo video. Remember when President Trump right after he got elected had RFK Jr. And like others on a plane. There were pictures of them with McDonald's. Mm-hmm. And RFK Jr. was like looking at it like, oh my gosh. I can't eat this. Because he only eats well food. Yeah. Talk about it only weird guy. Yeah. Any ferments on air? One bite of that would have killed him. Oh, yeah. It just rots in him. But he's got a big Mac. I believe the McDonald's CEO, they also mocked him for. He never called it a burger. Oh, what did he call it? He called it prod. He'd be like, this is our product. Oh, wow. Yeah. He kept calling multiple times in the video. Yeah. It is a cringeworthy video. Are you interested in this burger, baby Shay? My buddy had it this weekend and it looks really good. Did he like it? He loved it. Is that what we got calls on that said how good it was? Yes. Yes, the big arch. It was. I thought so. The big arch is their biggest burger ever at McDonald's. And we got some calls that had had it already and loved it. Yeah.

Especially one guy. Two reviews were 10 out of 10. Yeah, absolutely. I mean, the first guy said he went in not really expecting to. And the price point was right for him. He was like eight bucks with the drink also and he loved it. Isn't it? What sets it apart? Just a huge burger. It's two quarter pound. That's right. And it has new sauce. I want to know what the sauce is. It looks like max sauce, like the sauce on the bacon. But they called it something else. Something different. I know. And then the bun is like peppery. It looks a little bit different. And it's different cheese. It's not American cheese. I feel like it's supposed to be like, I don't know, more tavern stuff. It's white cheese. It's white cheddar cheese. Three slices. Yes. Three slices of white cheddar cheese. Crispy onions. Right. And then like, celebrity onions, right? And pickles, yes. And the sauce is 10 year, I believe. Then the... They can just call it what big-art sauce. The big-art sauce. It is not the... It's not the big-art sauce. Not the big-max special sauce. No. And does McDonald's... They don't have a tomato on anything, do they? Is there a tomato? Yes. They do. You're a manager. If I'm like...

I look at these guys. She goes, oh, maybe. She's been staring her teens. What do they... It's not on the big-max. It's not on the quarter pounder. What is it on? They do have a quarter pounder deluxe. It comes with all the stuff plus lettuce tomato mayonnaise. Okay. And they have the daily double. Is that a double cheeseburger? It is with lettuce tomato mayonnaise. And maybe onions. Okay. How much of those do they sell, do you think, on an average... Daily doubles? Or... Oh, no. Either. The quarter pounder deluxe scene. You'll see a couple in a day. But the daily double... Most people don't even know it's on the menu. I never heard of it. Yeah. What's never heard of it? And your biggest selling sandwich was the quarter pounder? Is that right? Probably. I thought so. Between that and the... The Big Mac. I like the Big Angus. You won't remember that. They roll. Can you say that again? The Big Angus. They rolled that out when... I don't know. 94. Yeah. No. 1907. Problem was the G kept filling out of the name. Yeah. The people who put up the marquee had way too much fun. Yeah. They rolled out the Big Angus. They had the Big Angus.

Regular lettuce tomato mayonnaise. Then they had like a barbecue version of it, I believe. And then maybe like a mushroom and Swiss. And the regular... I loved. I thought that was a great sandwich. But I think they took it off the menu. This was probably early 2000s. And then at one point they had the mini Mac. Where they would do a smaller version. When I was there we did. We had the junior Mac. Yes. The regular Big Mac. And then the grand Mac. Yes. Which I thought the grand Mac would have been bigger than this burger. But apparently it's not. No. This is the biggest burger ever. So they still got the double Mac. No. But the four patties. Was that a thing? Yeah. It was. Double Big Mac. Yeah. The double Mac. You could probably just ask them to add some more on there. For you. They should call it a BB-Shang. They should call it a BB-Shang. They should call it a BB-Shang. They should call it a BB-Shang. They should call it a BB-Shang. Yeah. He's our Guy Fieri. Yeah. Guy Fieri, she's the best cheeseburger I've ever had in my world. The Big Angus ran from 07 to 2013. Discontinued due to high costs. I had plenty of Big Angus. They also brought something out in the late 90s. Arch Deluxe.

Oh yeah. That failed. They were trying to become a more adult establishment. And they had the Arch Deluxe. And it had a very large... That a hot cold? No. That's the McDLT long before your time. Oh, this stuff sounds amazing. The McDLT is the best sandwich they've ever had in my opinion. Again. Why are we talking to him? He's not Guy Fieri. The type. The McDLT was a... They had a very large Styrofoam container. And on one side, you had the burger itself, which was hot. And on the other side, it was like mayonnaise, ketchup, lettuce, pickles, onions. I don't think there was a tomato. And it was supposed to stay cold while the hot side stayed hot. And then when you got it, you... There had to be... That was the tea, right? In DLT? Yeah, that's... Oh, I guess so. Yeah, McDLT. So it had a tomato. And so when you got it, you put it together. And I thought it was a delicious sandwich. I loved it. And the cheese was... It was just perfect. But they discontinued. That was probably 80s into 90s.

And that's what I always got. And they let it go. Unfortunately. I don't think McDonald's needs tomato on their burgers. They don't. Not really. They could keep it out entirely. Yeah. They don't need any tomatoes in the whole restaurant. Yeah. And be just fine. That's what I thought they didn't have what you... Have told us. Of course, they have the advanced versions of them. I agree. There's no need for tomatoes there. And it would probably save them a lot of money. Yeah. Nobody... Storage? Yeah. And refrigeration, who cares? Nobody would even need... You should see the... Since you were a manager there. Have you seen the movie with Michael Keaton about the founding of McDonald's? Very good. It's called The Founder. I know I did. At some point. It's very good. And it's about how it came about. And at one point to save refrigeration space. They made their milkshakes out of just powder and water. And they would put them together and it became a milkshake. The more ice cream. No ice cream. No freezers. And they... It saved them so much money in freezer space. And having to store ice cream. But it... People did well. That scene in that movie is one of the sexiest movie scenes I've ever seen in my life. That's right. When they mix it together. Yeah. Oh my god.

She made it look so good too. He eventually left his wife for her. Yes. And she mixed it together. And she was very excited about the milkshake making part of the cake. That too. That was really, really nicely. I like when they showed the carousel wheel making the burgers on the assembly line. Yes. It's really a film making. When McDonald's that first restaurant is beautiful. And they had it every burger looked like... Oh, this is fantastic. You know, if they had just stayed... And you only had one thing to order, right? It was burger fry shake. That's it. That's it. And Coke. And the burger was only like one way, like with cheese or whatever. That's all there was to it. It's such a... It's a good moving. And Michael Keaton played Ray Crock, who basically wrestled it out of the hands of the McDonald's brothers. And the biggest swindles ever. It was not a swindle. They knew what they were doing. Swindle. Well, Crock did say to them while they were in the toilet. Because they said, you just who do to us? And he said, oh, I thought you had a million dollar check in your pocket. Which is what he paid them. But then now, of course, he died a billionaire.
