獵豹是孤軍奮戰的掠食者，當牠用高速追捕到獵物後，牠們會在獵物旁邊休息再進食，有些動物像是獅子，就會趁機從牠們身邊掠奪獵物。目前全球獵豹的數量只剩下七千多隻，數量比起以前歷史上獵豹的數量，大幅減少了91％。
