在地球上已經生存1億年的海龜，數量卻在不斷地減少，棲息地被破壞、海洋生物過度捕撈，海龜被卡在漁網而淹死、氣候變遷造成海水溫度上升、海洋環境充斥大量垃圾…等，如果人類不再好好保護海龜，恐怕牠們會跟恐龍一樣從地球上消失。
