Howard Bloom: Using Music & Science To Understand The World
About this episode
Howard Bloom is an American author and was a music publicist in the 1970's and 80's for singers and bands such as Prince, Billy Joel, Styx and many others. Howard shares how his love of science happened before he was 12 and the series of "accidents" that lead to discovering rock and roll. He talks about the feeling he got when he was transformed because of music (not just hearing sounds) and how he uses a combination of music, poetry and science (neuroscience amongst other disciplines) to understand the world.
