24:48He's just looking to go in the air. Yeah. In any way possible. Yeah. But here's what Shaftor said. And then we have to get into it. The jets they would like to move up to that topic in the draft. I think that the jets probably at some point will make a run to try to get that big. I do think they'll try. I don't think they'll succeed, but I think they'll call up and be like, what would it take? Can we get it done? They have the ammunition. You know, last year, the giants tried really hard to get up to number one to go get cam ward. Tennessee wouldn't move off the pick. And I think that it's a similar situation this year with the jets at two in the Raiders at one. Sounds to me like the Raiders are pretty content and dug in. I don't expect them to move the number one pick, but the jets certainly can try. Yeah. Do you want that? Like I like Mendoza. Are you willing to make them like an offer they can't refuse to move up to number one? Ah, I heard a lot of this yesterday. I heard Schrager talking about this probably not just because again, I don't think we're in a great position right now talent wise around Mendoza to get the best out of him.

25:53Like you're not dumping him into like, we're not a quarterback away. You're not dumping him into a great situation. And I think it's going to be good, but is he going to be that like, is he going to be great in the NFL? I don't know. I don't know. I mean, it's going to be Joe Barrow. I don't know. I mean, you love what you see. I mean, you love the idea. I think the argument was, I mean, if anyone's equipped to do it, it would be him because of what he did in Indiana. And what I would say to that was, yeah, it was Mendoza, but it was signety. And I don't think Aaron Glenn is signety by any stretch. Of course, you make the phone call and see what I mean, see what I would say. Okay. But you want them. What would you be willing to do? Obviously, you'd have to give up two and 16, right? Right. So is that there's a real thought. And you've heard this from multiple people like that you, again, how you choose to, how you choose to feel about the people I'm going to mention is up to you. But as like, as far as like the NFL is concerned, like Dan Orlovsky is pretty well respected. Right? I mean, he watches a lot of tape breaks these things down and he got crushed for this take, by the way, which take you're going to say that he thinks Simpson and Mendoza are

26:56like this close? No, no. No, no, I was going to bring that up. You're going to bring up the fact that he thinks that if, I mean, if archmaning came out this year, he'd be the consensus number one pick. Oh, I, I heard everyone say that. Okay. So if everyone is saying that, am I going to trade, well, that's my point. So that's probably why I wouldn't do it. I would, I would, I would probably continue to build. So whenever I do get the quarterback, he's in a better spot because you need tons of talent all over the place. And then next year, be the year where, if I'm going to try to leverage, I would leverage the next year. I, I, I wholeheartedly agree. A, I think there, and I like Mendoza, but though I think he's on the level of like the, the burrows, the, what, maybe archmaning turns into a Dante Moore, no, for starters. And secondly, what, what am I going to give up to move up to get this kid? And thirdly, unless you make an offer, which is just wild, I don't think the radars are even going to entertain anything. Well, here's the thing though. I mean, you're probably right. And I mean, Chef, he said that like they can try and they'll probably try just because you should just to see what it would cost. Sure.

27:57Seriously, they about keeping the pick. I, I would say, I would say, do you think that Josh Allen would have been Josh Allen? If he wasn't, you know, developed, I don't think anybody, I think there's very few that would be what they turn into if they were on a, on a brutal team. Right. I think Joe Burrow was going to be great wherever he wound up. Okay. So it is Carlos Mendoza. It's Carlos Mendoza. It's Fernando Mendoza is from Nando Mendoza, Joe Burrow. No. No, I don't think so either. So I mean, if that's the, if that's your, your thought and you know going into next year, and we don't know how next year's going to turn out, but the names that you see you like. And Archman didn't have a great season. He got better as the season went on, but still like, that's how people view him. I would probably, I would probably hold on to the picks, draft a, you know, a really good player to a really good player at 16, I got, I got four picks on top 44. And then next year, take my chances and see what happens, but I, I agree with you.

29:01And I know like it's fun when we disagree, because then we go at it, but I, I agree with you 100%. Like what is like, what situation do you dump them in those into? If you trade all your, I mean, you're talking about trading what, three first round picks. How could you trade three first round picks to move up one spot and take a quarterback that I like him. Don't get me. I like him, but I don't think it's like a slam dunk. No, brand is going to be a star to trade three ones. You better know 100% that this guy's going to be a star. Well, I'm just saying, what is it going to, I mean, I would think that I would think it's going to, I mean, obviously you're going to have to give up two and probably 16. And then maybe 33. So you get men, those and you'd have 44 is what you'd get in this draft. And then you have three ones for next year. Okay, but here's the thing though, that's not what that, that's not what the Rage is going to want. The Rage is going to want your picks next year. All right. So what are you, what are you going to want for next year? So I'm going to, I'm going to trade you two, and I'm going to give you, can you can trade any pick you want, right? Yeah. Like, can you define like you would get Dallas's pick or was like you get, all right. So they're going to want two and next year's best available pick.

30:03Yeah, they're going to want your pick next year. Yes. Exactly right. Because they're going to want the ammunition to go up and get the quarterback that you could get next year. Right. But your in that position now, I'm in that position now exactly right, which is why I wouldn't do it. So why would you want to put them in that position? Well, because there's a known, there's always an unknown, right, but that's the thing though. And that's what we're dealing with right now in this, this conversation we keep having with the jets is, I mean, what would Darren Moose you like to do as opposed to what Aaron Glenn wants to do? What does Woody want to do? Because in theory, you want to be what he's going to want to win. Right. I don't think what he's looking five years down the road. What am I going to, what is like, how, how can I get as many wins as humanly possible next season? That's what he Johnson. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. D H, D H R was about this topic. And of course, if I would ask you right now without even hearing it, what do you think Don said about what the jet should do this season? Try to get as good as possible win, win, win as many games as humanly possible.

I don't think Aaron Glenn's a good coach. And now if we lose enough, I'll get a new coach and it hopefully the job will be attractive enough where we'll have maybe the first overall pick, hopefully two more first round picks. If you're going to ever be attractive, that would be the time. Yes. It's a young roster where you're going to get the quarterback and you're going to have a ton of money in a free agency. That would be the most attractive the Jets will ever be to a legitimate head coach that's on the market. Right. So I mean, I agree. I can live with being bad for another city. It's been 15. I agree. This is so rudimentary as far as just your analysis of the game. Um, maybe you, and your lack of, your lack of knowledge with, with football, it was, it was jarring to me. Maybe you make it your life's mission now to make sports, you know, sports radio, what it should be. I educate the supposed educators, right. You call all these stations up and you say, hey, listen, I'm Dave Rothmer, you know it. In a career path. Right. I drive, you know, I drive morning, you know, morning show in New York. Yep. I know what great radio should sound like. I've almost graduated from NYIT, right? Very close. I should listen to your station and then give you feedback as to what needs to be fixed. Like a consultant. Yes. A radio consultant. Yes. And here's the thing. You, you, you need to spend some more time studying. You need to spend some more time learning the history. You need to learn a little bit more of what's currently going on in the world of sports.

39:13Like I could give advice of what the appropriate thing to do for each individual host would be. Exactly right. Yeah. Now you understand the genesis of my frustration sometimes.
