Final four betting lines. The Illinois is now two and a half over Yukon was one and a half yesterday and Michigan against Arizona. And it was a year ago at this time, we were talking about the Tush push. And I thought they were going to eliminate it because the Eagles winning a Super Bowl, nobody can stop it. Nobody wants to see it. And then all of a sudden, they were worried about player safety,

5:18the aesthetics of the game. You know, they were giving you all kinds of building reasons why they had to get rid of this play. Haven't heard much about the Tush push, have you? Eagles don't win the Super Bowl. All of sudden defenses doing a little better job in stopping. Jalen Hertz coming off the edge, making sure they get a good pop on him. They're not even voting on it this year. What happened about the safety of the game? They were trying to make up something. Last year, it was the topic at the NFL owner's meetings. This year, not of people. It's a topic that is not a topic at the NFL owner's meetings, but it's because they know it's here. Maybe it's not going to be used as much. Maybe defenses have figured it out a little bit more so than when we first saw this. But they were trying to get information on player safety and there wasn't anything there. They were trying to make up something to get rid

6:23of the play. Oh, aesthetically, and you're right aesthetically, it's not pleasing, but the Eagles figured out something before anybody else did. I can't penalize them because they figured out something and you didn't. Now you need to figure out something and see what the Eagles do. But the percentage of push pushes and success are down. Therefore, nobody's worried about ruining the integrity of the game. I can't even watch that push push. But if the Eagles had won the Super Bowl this past year, the push push would be on the agenda. You imagine the Eagles win the Super Bowl on a push push. Oh, my God. People will be apoplectic over there. Yes, Pauline. I have a couple other things that the committee will vote on this coming week. The first one is off the on-site kick. The original rule in 2024 limited on-site kicks to only the fourth quarter when a team is trailing and they have to announce it, which is almost shocking that they made this

7:23rule. This new tweak would say you could do the on-site kick at any point during the game. Now, it doesn't say you have to declare. I think you still have to declare because the other team lines up one way, you line up one way. So it could be at any point during the game. Not a surprise, but better. And the other rule would be, they're calling this one no offense, the DK Metcalf rule. If a player on the sidelines gets into an altercation with a fan like DK Metcalf didn't, I think that was Detroit. He did not get penalized because the refs on the field didn't see that. If the sky judge sees something like this, the player could be ejected from the game or penalized. That's on the on the books to vote on. Okay. Yes, Todd. I'm with Paul. Any rule we have to share your strategy. That is just insane. How did that ever, how was that ever a thing? That's like, I'm throwing a fastball here or we're going to pass some throwing a screen pass. Just want to let you know. Yeah, just get rid of it. I got, I mean, I know you want the on-site kick there,

8:25but the fact that I have to tell you what's happening and even the movement on the on-site kick, they don't want collisions. I understand that. That's tough in football. Yes. It is a violent sport. I know they don't want it to be even more violent, but the hey, we're going to do an on-site kick. I don't know. One of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history on-site kick by the scenes. Yes, Paul. Here's the issue. The new dynamic kickoff has one lineup, one setup, and when you declare for an on-site kick, it's a completely different setup. So you have to have the declaration because they know what you're doing, but there's no talk about them getting rid of the on-site. Even though the percentage, I think, is 4% we're converted. Okay, the touch push isn't aesthetically pleasing. Neither is this on-site kick formation. It's not aesthetically pleasing. I mean, I'll take the regular kickoff. All right. We've gotten used to it. We get some movement there. We've had some, you know, returns. Percentages are up for the returns there. Yes, Paul. I have a solution,

9:30as I always do. Good idea, bad idea. You want to cut down on collision or people getting collided into on an on-site kick. One defender, one return guy. Those are the only two people in the play. The kicker kicks it and whoever gets it. You cut down on people getting hit. It's just two dudes. But the field's too big for that one guy. Good times, though. Yeah. The NFL league meetings, though, I think they wrap up today. But I don't think anything is front and center on the agenda. Feels like it's global domination. The flag football is still a big deal because that can give you global entry into certain countries that aren't ready to have tackle football. Having the infrastructure for that, having the equipment for that, you can play flag football. These NFL teams are going to have their countries. Maybe they play their games there. Maybe there's flag football game that's played prior to the NFL game. There's a lot of different things that the

10:33NFL is trying to do. And, you know, games all, you know, every day of the week, now we're going to Australia. I mean, we're going to the four corners. Is it the four corners of the earth? Checking. You just want to make sure that's the same. Okay. Yeah. Didn't know how many quarters there are and I check corners. There are no corners. There are no corners on the earth. Yeah. And like, unless you're a flat earther, that's you're a globus. Yeah. And there's no corners. But didn't one of the astronauts send a picture? Somebody sent a picture recently just to say if you're a flat earther, this should change all of that. The picture that was sent. I'm like, I don't know. I never understood that with flat earthers. Like, what happens when you get to the end of the earth? Remember, we had this discussion. What is the town that's on the edge? Yeah. Yeah. Seat. The internet is loaded with videos of people attempting to prove the earth is flat and only proving that it's round. And it's, they're the best videos to watch because they're like,

11:34see, I'm telling you, when you've fired this like laser, it's going to go straight on forever. And they're like, Jimmy, you should be able to see that. You're so far away. And they're like, I can't see and be like, all right, we'll move it up a little bit, move it up a little bit, move it up. Oh, that's weird. I guess the only way that could happen is if the earth is round. It's the best of the best videos. But who came to the conclusion? And then others go, man, you're right. Yes, Todd. Is there any, has anyone ever fallen off like a cliff, the edge of the earth? Like, you could be in the back of a supermarket and you go a little past the parking lot and you just fall forever out the end. What do you think? I'm going to say no. So I don't know what are these flat earthers are showing, unless you have evidence of at least one person physically falling off the earth when it comes to an end, if it's like a square. Whatever you do, when you're at Whole Foods, don't go out the back door because then you're going to fall off my broccoli. Yeah, awesome. Yes, we are about to get just a day loose of staying your lane. I know content right now. I know. I stay in my lane when I go around the globe. You can stay in that lane all the way. I can keep going around and around and around.

12:39Yes, yes, fully. I look back at this at 5th century BC, the Greeks speculated that the earth was round before that all flat. People thought. Yes, Todd. But if there's an actual person in space, if NASA people are proving with photos, they're actually up there, out there showing that it's round. What person that says, you know, that it's flat, has any kind of proof that you would think a space person would have a better idea as to what it looks like. It could be fake news. They could all in on it. Yeah, it could be AI. Who is the video of, I don't remember if it was like Buzz Aldrin or somebody, but somebody went up to, I don't remember if it was him or not, but they went up to him like just on the street. We're like, yeah, moon landing is fake and he punched them right in them. I think that was Buzz Aldrin. I think Buzz Aldrin, who just, I think he just died recently. It smashed the dude right in the nose. Like Buzz Aldrin was all business. There were no nonsense. Yeah, Paul. September, 02, Buzz Aldrin leaving the Beverly Hills hotel got confronted by a conspiracy person and dropped him. There should be a law. You land on the moon. You could punch out one person.

13:42I think that's only fair. Yes, Todd. What is the motivation to prove one way or the other? What do you win? You win like a teddy bear? What do you get? If you prove one way or the other, whether it's a round globe or a square globe, what does it even matter? What it is? Your questions are really difficult to answer. But that's what's so silly. People are so passionate about something that doesn't even matter who cares if it's a triangle or a rhombus. What does it matter what their globe is shaped like? I don't get it. Yeah, but you haven't had these moments where he is, you know, out of it. I mean, I didn't charge him with anything they did. Uh, he was driving under the influence. All I'm doing is reading the report. Uh, he's flipped his car a couple of times now. Remember the one time he was pulled over side of the road and couldn't even walk this. Yes, you can use these drugs in moderation under a, under doctor's care. He's got hydrocodone in his pocket and gets arrested and doesn't, you know, take those out of his pocket. Not all of a sudden. Or you made your decision that SGA is the MVP on Sunday night. Is that what happened? Not only Sunday night, but just watching the game last night in that overtime thriller versus the number one seed in the Eastern Conference of Detroit. Again, I know they were without Cade. I know they were without Durham. I know they were without Isaiah Stewart. But the thunder were missing some pieces as well. Jay Dub didn't play Isaiah Hartenstein. But who shows up? To me, he SGA should be again. And I said this on air on Sunday. There's levels to this. And I am never going to take anything away from Winby because Winby deserves and he will be winning

25:10these awards for a long time. But if we are going to give out the highest award in our game, which is the MVP of the regular season, I get it regular season. I'm going with SGA just for the simple fact minutes played. I mean, I look at Winby's minutes and they both missed around the same amount of time. I believe SGA missed 12 games. Winby has missed 15 games, eight and four without SGA, 10 and five without Winby. But for a while there, Winby was on a minute's restructure. And if you look at minutes, and this was a wild stat, LaBron has played less games than Winby. But it has more minutes than Winby right now. That's the point of making. Winby's coming off a blood clot and look at the numbers that he put up and look at the season that they've had. And if we do this, because this is what some of you animals like to do,

26:14certain guys don't play defense. Did any of those animals say anything about James Harden when he was winning MVP that he didn't play right? Nobody said that. Now all of a sudden, Luca can't play defense. Joker doesn't play defense. Jalen Brunson doesn't play defense. If we're going to use that, then Winby defensively is an A plus, correct? Yes. Okay. As an offensive player. B plus. Okay. B plus. SGA. B plus. A plus. A minus B plus. He's an A plus score. A minus to B plus defender. That's really friendly. Oh, no, no. He was second in steals a year ago on his way to the MVP. There are a lot of guys who were up there in steals who aren't great defenders, Rich. Okay. So are you saying that SGA does not play defense? No. I'm saying he's nowhere near

27:16what? What? Wemby is a plus for Winby in defense. B plus in offense. Maybe even I'll give him a name. Okay. All right. I'm just saying nobody talks about SGA's defense. Nobody. Now he might be highly rated. Nobody talks about that. But I want to know where the analyst were when James Hardin was considered the best player in the game. Yes. And Reg. James Hardin doesn't play defense. Now he probably was up there in steals. I'll bet you. Larry Bird used to be up there in steals. And Larry wasn't a good defender. He was a great teacher. Okay. But I've been saying SGA is the MVP. I think he's going to win the MVP. I think Lucas is the best player in the game. And I think that's the best score in our game. I will say that. But he's the best rebounder score in a he's leading in a sith. I would know. I think that he's up there. Yoke. I mean Yoke.

28:20That's what I'm saying. Yoke is the best best player in the game in my opinion. I agree too. Okay. But if if you don't if if Wemby's not getting it this year. He's getting it next year. If he plays enough games. Yes. Yes. Bet he'll. I think from this point forward SGA will win it. But starting next year. Wemby's on the clock. Yeah. He's on the clock to win MVP. But also too. Can we please see the spurs in a playoff series? I agree. I agree. Okay. We're going to give him the MVP. And he hasn't even played one playoff game. Again. Regular season. I get it. But I want to see the spurs in a playoff series. But I don't think that MVP regular season should be predicated on how well you've done in the postseason. I we did that to Yonis. We did that to Joker. And I don't think it's fair. It's the regular season. It's almost as if. What if what if the spurs knock out O.K.C.

29:21SGA wins MVP and the spurs beat O.K.C. Then we can come back on here and re-evaluate. Well, then they've given the MVP to the wrong guy. Correct. Well, guess what? They're on a collision course. So let's find out. All I know is I do started the season 24 and one. And right now they're 18 and two. Since they all celebrate again. I know the spurs are 18 and two or 19 and two as well. But I'm leaning towards. I'm not leaning. I am going with SGA as the MVP right now. All right. You sent me some notes last night. You want to talk on VP. Braille and Mullin shot and Dan Hurley. And then you want to talk about what Duke did wrong. Okay. Let's start with what Duke did wrong. 10 seconds to go. Then we can get to the shot. And then we could get to Dan Hurley. And this is why you in practice. Whether you're at

30:22grade school level, high school, and obviously in college, you work on situational basketball. Okay. And knowing time, score, foul situation, there was no reason for Boozert to attempt to throw the ball over. I know all of the Yukon Huskies players were going for the steal on all that. But all King had to do was hold onto the basketball, escape dribble, dribble left, right? They were going to foul him. He did not have to give up that basketball. So not only time, score, because they were up to at the time, even if he makes one or two with no timeout's left, it was going to be virtually impossible for Yukon. But when you give up the basketball, when you attempt, all it took was a deflection, which happened. Still bucket. No in time plays situational basketball. And I'm not saying they don't practice that at Duke.

31:24Obviously, they coach Shire, that system, they do. But when you get caught up in the moment, people don't understand how big some of these moments are. In the heat of the moment, stuff happens. And I feel for the Boozert boys, I feel for Carlos. It's tough. But I was telling people this too. This too shall pass. He's only 18. I felt bad. I felt bad. But I have to give Yukon credit, because it was a great defensive play. A pass and Carabane had just made a tough shot. His was going to be contested. You see the trailer always worry about the trailer. And he finds Mullins who has, you know, wide open from 37 feet out. And he was able to take a jumper. And if there's one player on that team that you didn't want to leave open, yeah, was brainless. I mean, arguably, the best shooter on that team has even as a freshman.

32:28And what a moment for him, his dad, Josh, a kid from Indiana, it's, it's a hosier type ending for them because that's all we do in Indiana. I'm an adopted hosier. So when I say we, I consider myself a hosier, that's all those kids doing Indiana is think of moments like that. How did they lose him to Yukon, right? It doesn't matter how they lost him. We still claim him. Okay. It gives a chance for a shot like that to come home to Indiana for the final four. His dad, Josh, his family, a greenfield central where he played high school. If that official would have blew the whistle and gave, culturally, a technical for them. So that would have been two shots from anyone, I assume. Yeah. And you could have easily lost that game. Well, I think that's two people in a moment, a public moment, who understood each other.

And Dan Hurley, because again, you could easily made a case and far be it for me to support anything that Duke does. Sorry, Grant.
