And I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable,
abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. These are stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. In 1986, a man named Scott McLean was killed in broad daylight. Police quickly found their suspect, prosecutors convicted him. But now, almost 40 years later, I'm re-examining this case. I really didn't believe any of it was real. And I was like, well, they're gonna figure out this is not me. They're gonna do their police job. Has the wrong man been in prison this whole time? Listen to examined, the Backfire Effect, on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Why are you dealing with listening to Armstrong and Getty on demand? We're not boring. Lot of news is boring. And tedious.
And depressing. And makes you angry. You don't want to live your life like that. Hey, I'm Jack Armstrong. He's Joe Getty. We're Armstrong and Getty. We try to bring you the truth and help you figure out this crazy modern world. About something about a comedic tone. What? We have a winner? Yes. Listen to Armstrong and Getty on demand on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. On Big Lives, we take a single cultural icon. People like Jane Fonda, George Michael, Little Richard. And we pull apart the story behind the image, discovering forgotten interviews that change exactly how we see these giants of our culture. We're here for the messy, the brilliant, the human version of our heroes. I'm Immanuel Jochi. At Kai Wright. And this is Big Lives. Oh, I thought you were going to say, I was just excited about the Dr. Pepper. You know what I get? Have you read the cherry Dr. Pepper? Yeah, I like Dr. Pepper zero too. Oh, oh, yeah. Something that in here. It's good and nice to loot. So Rich, I'm looking at this picture like everybody under the moon is. We've all seen it. Even if you didn't know what was going on, I promise you. If you have social media or you've checked the news and you don't live in a cave, you've seen the image of this woman. She's got her hands up. She's got her phone in her hand. She's all stressed out. And Ole Miss is winning 24-22 in the third quarter. She's all stressed about it because she's Sarah Smith from Ole Miss. And Rich, she's so your type of chick. And I say this respectfully because Rich is a happily married man. But Rich loves hot blondes like this.
And Rich has something like Rich's Ick, his number one Ick as the kiddo say, is armpit stubble. And Rich, I'm going to tell you. She's got perfect armpits. I noticed you don't think I noticed you. I noticed you. Oh, my big wounded. This is already getting weird. No, I'm telling you. Yeah, yeah. I told you he's dead in the East. Can we know nailed it? I think the number one gross thing is when girls have like Harry armpits. Stubble, stubble. When a girl's like can't take the effort to just get the armpits in order. And you see like leftover deodorant. Yeah, like I'm like clean up your pits. This girl had like this girl should be doing secret commercials. Yeah, bro. It's pretty wild. It looks like it's Photoshopped. So this girl immediately goes viral. You know what that means Rich? Not this sounds creepy, but it's like pristine. Pristine right there. Yeah, she takes care of herself. Clean and pristine. Let's just put it that way. I'll say this. I'll say this Danny J when you saw that clip. The cameraman got a little overzealous for a second. He started zooming in.
Oh, yeah. What am I doing? And that's when the director was like a cut to camera three camera three. Yeah, cut to the coach or a player. But yeah, there was a minute where he got caught up in the moment because. I mean, she's a gorgeous girl, but in that moment, she looked ridiculously gorgeous. And listen, that's one of the that's one of the templates to go viral and become famous now. Be noticed at a game and arena stadium. It's been it's been like that for years, but this girl got she got the juice now. Oh, she's got the juice and that's the story. Look at that. I mean, the guy zoomed in for like, wait a minute. Hold up. The guy on the right looks like comedian Dave Thomas remember the guy that was opposite Rick Moranis. Remember from SETV by the way, spot our video guy. Thanks for getting the video. When you see the guy zoom in, do you think he's doing a pitch check? Oh, yeah, he definitely did a stubble check just to see if she met Rich's requirements. So basically the old Miss girl is such the buzz right now. We'll get we'll get more YouTube views. By the way, Rich, I think it's not only is she just like naturally pretty, right?
But I think the whole Alex Earl vibe is there and she's the it girl right now. Alex Earl the it girl with her new Netflix show and social light and social media superstar. Yeah, I think because people are loving her so much, this girl has that kind of vibe about her. And she just took the world by storm so much that the story today is that her DMs are flooded with creeps like Rich. I mean, with people trying to hit her up thousands, thousands of riches when he was in his 20s. Yeah, but but you know what? I mean, why would you not you your ambitious people? Listen, I'll tell you what, I did watch that first episode of Alex Earl show Earl meets world. Yeah. I mean, what one thing I did know she goes, I don't know how to meet dudes because you would think more people would hit me up. But a guy's are like, nah. And that's so like I think shoot your shot, dude. If Alex Earl saying guys aren't really DMing her, this girl is got to get those guys got to shoot their shot. Yeah, and she's saying that's exactly what's happening.
Her DMs are flooded and she's going to start going over her favorite DMs in the last 24 hours. She's doing that now on social media, like talking about it. And I from what I'm gathering here from all the reporting is that she's like open to it. Like she doesn't mind people shooting their shot. And honestly, I don't mind anyone ever shooting their shot. But here's my question. I got so many layers and thoughts to this. Yeah. When you see the hot girl out the game, is that when you make the move or at the gym, that sort of thing. Like is that when they're just in their personal zone? You don't bother them. And the reason everybody likes her so much is because of how intense she looks as far as being into the game. Yeah, she's in she's invested for sure. Yeah, that's she's not playing pretend. You think that's when she wants to be bothered by somebody? Yeah, that's not what I mean. Like here's the here's the deal. People like people say, well, you know what I really meet someone with the gym or here or there. Then when are you going to where are you going to meet him? I think you got to shoot your shot with it. I think you got to be crafty. Well, you'd have to wait until the game ended and hope her team wins. Yeah, I know Rich's move.
If Rich was a single guy right now, he would definitely slide into the DMs and make. I'm sorry to bother you, but I couldn't help but notice your armpits are pristine. I was just wondering what procedure you you've gotten to get him through spectacular. Perhaps talk about it on Fox perhaps. He's definitely used to show to his advantage, but he complimented her pits just to get her attention and be a rich weird. Weird compliment, but don't tell me you didn't notice. I did notice because I was thinking on your behalf because I feel like she's just your type. But like, what do you think about Rich? People shooting their shot and what do you think about finding your celebrity in this way? You know, we've seen it happen. We've seen it with Pam Anderson. We've seen it with other people. We know personally. Yeah, it's like. It's really a lucky moment that I think you need to capitalize on. So I think if she was smart about it, she's got a role with this. There's a template that's there and it's capitalized in this.
The world we live in now in 2026. Like, it's clear. This girl is like, if I play it right, I could get makeup endorsements. I could get. I could get people sponsoring my channels and my. She could start making tutorial videos like followers. Yeah, if she wants to pivot in that direction, which it seems like she's got the personality. She's having fun with it. This might have been just like. Lightening in a bottle blessing that like, oh, wow, she's super hot but the camera paned on her at the right time. Yeah, dude, the camera panning on a hot girl at the right time has made lives. Like you said. Now Rich, speaking of like the camera capturing like really cool moments like this. Did you see that clip of what they're saying might be the greatest fan catch ever made? Was that dude? Was birthday? I mean, are you talking about the guy who caught an exit velocity ball of 112 miles an hour? But dude, it was like, it was the wildest. I really feel like this guy could have capitalized on this.
He should be on like, you know, he should start his own podcast now as a result of this. Because he got a lot of attention because of it. 112 exit velocity. He had just talked to his dad or something like that. And he's like, his dad is like, hey, sonny, go catch a ball. Catch a ball. All right, dad, you know, it's his birthday and he's at the game. But the best part, I think is after he catches it, he has like a sinister. Fun reaction. Yeah. It was like a really great moment. Like even that, and I say that respectfully. I think should and could capitalize and make like some podcast rounds and even maybe start his own thing. Look at this. 112 mile per hour. Look at his face. Like the highlander or something. Look at his guy, Brony Man caught it bare handed. They're saying might be the best catch in the year. Come on. Let me let me hit you up with the trifecta then because if you're saying, Hathi Ole Miss and by the way, our super agent Sean Wyman's son goes to Ole Miss. You think he can handle that?
I think I think you should make his move, man. Come on. Make your move, kid. But yeah, Ole Miss Hathi, which sounds like a cute little name. Ole Miss Hathi. Had a farm. 112 mile an hour, bare handed stud. And then the reaction like, yeah. The other one I thought was wild, did you see Ellie Dela Cruz throw guy at home with 105 mile an hour. Like Crow hop throw out to the plate. I did. Yeah. Amazing. Yeah, these guys have a question for you. We talk about cannon. When we were kids, remember people talk about Sean Dunston and there were certain guys that just threw through the ball. Cody Belinger got some guy at the plate. They said it was the 90s, 99.7 or something or they said 100 miles per hour and I was shocked and then I heard what and I saw what Dela Cruz did. I was like, oh my God. Yeah, Danny, who comes to mind for you? I know Vladie Guerrero. I know Sean Dunston was the name they always said. Back in the day, a Jesse Barfield. Andre Dawson, Jesse Barfield.
Are you Dawson, yeah. But like, alright, real real cool. I meant they had a cannon. Yeah, but when you think of those guys, they weren't pictures. But what do you think some of those guys could throw on a cutoff or like charging a ball from shorts up? Are they even 105? Yeah, it's not. Well, not all of them, right? Some have the red light, some have the green light. But I think it's just because it's a one time thing they could put all their oomph into it. Pictures don't do that, right? They're pacing themselves out. But isn't that wild to think that Ellie Dela Cruz could wind back? And that was, by the way, that wasn't, it wasn't even like a full Crow hop. It was almost like a cut and a quick throw. Like, if you gave him a ball and he was at a carnival, I feel like Ellie Dela Cruz could throw 108 miles an hour something. Rich, did you mention Dave Parker? Dave Parker had a rifle. No, we didn't mention it. Just throw it in the darks. Absolutely. But I just wonder those guys like, and you know, just for the fun of it, that's how some guys actually
become pictures. Do you know the Jacob DeGram was an infielder that just had a rifle and they're like, yo, let's work with this guy. And if you remember, Kavino and the Mets organization, they sort of made him a picture. Yeah, now I do, I remember. So I mean, I always wonder like, you've an Ellie Dela Cruz could throw 105. Does he just not have the makeup to be a picture or just not his, you know, he doesn't have second-day pictures? Because if you could throw 105 miles an hour, like Ellie Dela Cruz, that video caught my eye as well. All right. So some viralness, some viral fun here on the Kavino and Rich on honestly props to this Ole Miss girl in a non-creepy way for real. I really think she should capitalize on this. Anyway, she could. She's a good young woman. I've said this to you. There's no reason why she shouldn't. That's why like lucky things like this happen. You got to, you got to seize the moment. I've said things like this to you and you're like, bro, I don't know. We had a page. I was gonna say is it sporadic or sporadic? Page sporadic. Yeah, you always get in my head, make me think I'm saying it wrong.
How do I get in your head? I'm gonna want to say it right. Page sporadic was on our show at the Super Bowl. Yeah. Golfing influencer. She got big goals. And I remember saying to you, like, Kavino, you have an attractive daughter. Would you be okay? I said to you, I was like, I would love it if my daughter was able to make a toast. My daughter was able to make a ton of money just doing something silly. Like, I'm an influencer for golf. And you're like, bro, I don't know. Would you want your daughter doing that? And my answer was, yes. I mean, what a great easy life. It has different goals. Why would you root for that? Like, that's fun and all and everything. But like, my daughter's studying neuroscience. I should like, now, encourage her to. This is what she's into. It's her passion. It's her goal. So now I'm supposed to like, dumb down her goal a little bit. Like, that's silly. I'm just saying, if that's someone else's goal, then good for you. Old Miss girl. Yeah. If played right, that should be the goal. This is sort of what happened.
I think now you capitalize on it. I think it's, it's a, you can't play it stuff like this. You can't say why goals to be known as that again. Dude, I saw an article today that said, AI is going to replace all of us within a decade if we don't play it safe. Like, with the world where all these, you know, I guess you would say formally, like, smarty pants jobs, AI is replacing all that. If you could become an influencer and make a quick million dollars issue to hot chick that was in the stands at a game, I, yo, I'm with you. Like, might as well go with that. So congrats to her. Um, Danny G get a rod. Yeah. And I was going to bring up to, there's one other face has come across our timeline. A lot of the past few days and that's Trinity, Rodman. Oh, yeah. And DB was giving us that update. So many people didn't know that I was in. Shelton. No, that that was Dennis Robins. Yeah. Yeah. Rich didn't. Rich was talking about that. At first I didn't know because I was like, wait a minute. Oh, wait, that's Rodman's daughter. Because everyone's like, who's the hot girl chair at the US Open? Did you see the clip of the camera going into the stands and she does like the telephone thing?
The celebration with him. Really cool moment. But you know, on the side story there that we never got to, you know, when we're talking about viral moments, this sort of ties into it is how the US Open was dealing with so many influencers and so many people using that as their stage and backdrops and making videos twice as many influencers as from last year. And it's become a major problem. And honestly, I say again, those two words that you need to learn, Rich, beat it, scram, I'm a ding dong. Get out of my face with that stuff. There's a time and place for renegades and a time and place for that. I don't think I don't think you take talk videos. And nobody getting mad at me if I'm walking to the water fountain. I don't think that they should be set up ring life and destroying. That's what they were doing. I know, but I'm saying I do think that tennis should be happy that influencers care. They don't be honest because there's a new generation dude. It's a new generation. You can't think like we're thinking they don't and it's honestly, there's an etiquette. So you're just saying, you know, poo poo on the etiquette of the game. I say poo. Who says poo poo because how? I think that back bottles never say poo poo.
I'm sorry about you. What's happening to you? Yeah. I'm the poo poo king. Yeah. Rob Parker says that. Rob Parker says that. You can't just say all because it's the influencer way that it's accepted. Now it's ridiculous. I'm saying it's worth it. I'm living now that I think you want to make it right. The world even stinks sometimes. Like poo poo. The poop. All right. So anyway, some viral moments here on the Kavino Nrucho, but major, major props to the Ole Miss fan who said her DMs are flooded. Flood it. Yeah. I'm a good tack, but that could be, do you understand that that could be how she meets like some baller guy, she dates, or that gets her a pro-modial with like makeup companies or a soft drink or gambling side or something like, you know, this girl because she's hot and looked intensely into the game. I mean, you gotta roll with that. That's not gonna happen to a dude. Ladies, that's one of the advantages you have. Like roll with it. Roll, roll, roll with it.
Rich, remember when they caught you crying at the Metz game on camera? Yeah, what did that lead to? Yeah. But didn't you get a tissue endorsement to wipe away your tears? Yeah, wipe away my Metz tears. Rich, they actually zoomed in on Rich and his dad and Rich was crying, I think. I got a desu, I got a desu, I got a desu, an endorsement because I'm a little big baby. Yeah, he was like, oh, it was a diaper company that reached out to Rich. Danny, it's true story. Oh, six when the Metz lost in the playoffs. I was one of the, I was one of the sad fans they pan to. Oh, by the way, that's so funny. Like, do you have those moments where like, I remember growing up Danny G, it was the, I guess it was a giant Super Bowl video. I know you, I know your stories. I'll, I'll, I'll say up. It was the 87, the 86, 87, the 86, 87 giant team. Giant friends, your friends dad was waving like the giant's like towel. Like he was in the year, he was in the year interview video. And then you sit there and he watched these videos and you crack up like, this is everybody's dad. Is it funny? It's the funniest thing. Especially when you're a kid and you see those things. But anyway, cool moments.

Smooth, huh? Like those armpits. Something. Was it an armpit filter? And by the way, is Rich really the guy that DMed the Ole Miss girl and said bankrupt me? That was not me. That's the only married. But it would be no rich on Fox Sports Radio. And we got a lot of money. And we got a lot of money. And we got a lot of money. But it would have been rich on Fox Sports Radio. And we got midweek major coming up. And most importantly, we got some NFL on the way super pumped about it. It's an exciting day. It's a holiday. So great. Coves. Yeah. 18 games to go. Your Yankees are four back from the race. Yeah. Can you do it? Yeah. You better believe it, dude. Hell yeah. Super pumped about that too. But before we dive into that, Rich, D.B.
Has got an update. Oh, D.B. What's up, man? Well, if the Yankees are going to do it, they're going to have to do it without jazz chisel. Placed on the injured list because of that sprained thumb could keep them out the rest of the regular season. You know what could happen, D.B.? Or maybe you got to scoop. But does Volpe come back to play second now or what? I don't care. Oh, C.U.X. kickoff would less than two hours. That's totally on. That's totally on. That's not on dance updates. That's what you lame Yankees. Yeah. Number one answer on the board. I give you a props for that. I can tell you what else happened in baseball today. The Jays lost to Oakland to nothing. So Toronto as it sits right now, since a game and a half back at Cleveland for the final ale wild card. A couple of other finals. Giant scored six times in the eighth to top the Cardinals today. Seven six Tigers were seven two winners against the twins. Padres lead the nationals right now. Seven to two. That's in the seventh inning. San Diego a half game back of Arizona for the wild final wild card in the NL. While Seattle leads Texas by a score of three to two playing in the top of the ninth inning in Seattle.
Now tonight in Seattle they had to move this game in the afternoon because the C.U.X. Are playing tonight to open the NFL's regular season 820 Eastern time. Patriots running back Travian Henderson out because of an ankle injury. Viking said coach Kevin O'Connell announced that quarterback Carson Wentz will be the backup quarterback to Kyla Murray and their week went opener against Green Bay. J.J. McCarthy will be the third string quarterback. Raiders tied in Brock Bowers could miss a game or two according to the NFL network after having a meniscus trim and a sneak earlier this week in Dallas. You will not play week one against the dolphins. Raiders did get ash and genty on the practice fields today for a full workout full practice for Giants wide receiver Malik neighbors and at the U.S. Open women's quarter finals Coco Gough advanced to the semifinals with a three set victory over fifth seeded Mira and Dreeva 26762. Guys, I don't know Sam's going to have this last bit. Do you have the last bit about Jalen Brunson Iowa Sam and Minnwik Major? I do not fire away. Jalen Brunson will host the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 26th.
Oh, I love that. Thank you, DB. It really is hit or miss with athletes. So I'm curious as you Jalen Brunson has those acting chops, right? Think about it. Some athletes fall flat and some are really funny. Yeah, most of them aren't that great, but you know, he's in New York. That's his setting. It could be fun. We'll see. So, Kavino and Rich Fox Sports Radio. Thank you, Dan Byer and enjoy the game tonight, man. His sky hocks taking on the Patriots and we're going to give you our final thoughts on that Jerry Springer style. But like we always do every Wednesday. We go to Iowa Sam for midweek major. Kavino and Rich get you over the middle of the week with midweek major. I love that. We throw sports and pop culture headlines and topics at the fellas and it's like the kids say. That's so midweek definitely major. See in our scoring. Midweek major.
How's it going? Had to do that for NFL opening night. Yeah. All right, before we hand things over the one and only host of the segment, Iowa Samuel Lee, usually rolled a too big red love dice, but since Rich is away. Oh, you got Ben Mellor's ass penny. I do. You know, Ben Mellor called you the ultimate jock sniffer, Rich. How do you feel about that? I didn't see that. I make fun of him so it's all good. I'm going to say that the ultimate jock sniffer and you can see it on our social media page at Kavino and Rich. Yes. All right. So I'm going to flip it. Kavino, you're at home. You call. Tales. It is tales. Kavino gets first take it. Now, ladies and gentlemen, the most famous person besides Brian Bell of Weezer from Iowa City, Iowa, Iowa Sam. Sammy Boy. Thanks guys. Hey, Sam. We're on the cusp of a football glory. We're just a little less than two hours ago, but I'm going to do a golf story here. Duff for men. You guys probably don't know the name, right? Duff for men.
He has the grill or no? Anybody? No, not that guy. That's George for men. Oh, did I know? That's because he is a brand spanking new AI golf analyst. He, Duff, it will be offering golf commentary and analysis at the upcoming New Mexico City. It will be streaming live September 14th to the 16th on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Let's get a little taste of Duff and I'm not talking about the fake beer from the Simpsons. We're going to watch golf the way it should have been watched all along, measured, verified and called straight. Golf's been waiting 600 years for somebody to keep score honestly. Took a machine to do it. I'm Duff for men. Get used to it. I'm Duff for men. Get used to it. A-I Sports Analysts mid-week or major? Man, I'd say that's a major story if that's what's going on. A-I Sports Analyst? Live too. Reactor in the moment. What's going on? Yeah, that's not good. I think that's bad for our industry.
Therefore, major. You know, you're taking away an opportunity. Well, I mean, there's always opportunity, but you want to see real people get the advantage. Get the headline and get the story. So I'm always advantage real broadcaster as opposed to A-I broadcaster. What is A-I Hearts slogan? Guaranteed human? Guaranteed human, yeah. Yo, I'm a human, bro. The robot here. The robots are taken over. Listen, that guy's telling this. No, it's a scramble in the ding-dong. Snarky, mean and not real. There's nothing likeable about that. What's the name? Buns, what is it? Duff for men. Duff for men. Oh. Who, I can't tell if they're trying to give him a Scottish accent if he's American, but if I, I'll listen to a couple clips of this. You know, when you can change the voice on your GPS, like I would never change it to a mean Scottish guy, but hey, you know what? Two inches on. I'll tell you this, though. I think people don't react to robots because when you're trying to build a community, like we do with Kavino and Rich, our carls, when you got, you know, a show on the radio podcast, a TV show, you try to form community.
You can't form community with robots. Or production. Yeah. U.S. Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana, when I first heard John Kennedy, I was like, yeah. John F. Kennedy, but not him. Just another Kennedy, but of the South. U.S. Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana had something to say about the idea of possibly kicking LSU out of the SEC. Let's take a quick listen. This is a very, very fun little clip here. That's bone deep down to the marrow stupid. I've got rocks in my driveway that are smarter than that. They're not going to throw LSU out of the SEC. Let me tell you something. I have a lot of other people in the United States Congress. We'll be on them like a hobo on the ham sandwich. Who is that? That is John Kennedy, U.S. Senator of Louisiana, representing the state. That's a guy. Yes, Dana Carvey loves to.
Dana Carvey loves doing a pressure on John Kennedy. Check that out. That sounds like a lady who lived in a shoe. But here's the deal. Listen, if this, let me give you a little update here from earlier. Let me see. I've lost my space here. Listen. Now, the president of LSU weighed Rousse. I think I'm saying Rousse. Rousse has come out and said LSU has complied with the SEC's demands and also said nobody from LSU. We'll interfere with that meeting tomorrow. But if this vote somehow passes, it's a bad day to be a ham sandwich. It'd be a major. I think it's major. It's a major story. It's everywhere you look. And the most major part about it is I have a new insult for Rich now. Bone deep down to the marrow. Stupid. That's a good one. That's my biggest take away. It's a good insult. I think the story's major, but it's not going to go anywhere. Like, he's a villain of the year. You know what I'm saying? Rich started his own. I didn't get first take. I wasn't completely done. For some reason, as big as the story is though, you know how we all have like mental blocks or whatever?
Let's just say every time I hear the name Lane Kiffin, it's an automatic tune out for me. For real. Like, I'm not interested. I'm like, all right. Even now that he's the best villain, you ever have like a great album or something, but there's certain songs you always skip. I always skip the Lane Kiffin track on my CD. Ooh. Lane Kiffin's skip. I want to hear the next story. That's just honestly like where my interest level is, but it is a big story, so I can't deny that. I think it's he. They're not getting kicked out. They're too important. That's ridiculous. That's like a whole bow on a, what did you say? What do you say? If this happens, we'll be like a bunch of hobos on ham sandwich. Yeah. Yeah. And I love that. That's so good. All right. Let's go to the NFL now. But the guy who's not in the NFL currently, when we think of former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin, most of us probably just think of football and some good post game sound bites. Personally, I don't know much about the guy in his home life. And perhaps he liked it that way. I don't know. Maybe it was by design, but the new NBC football analyst sat down with Craig Melvin of the Today Show revealed that he enjoys playing Minecraft and has been building the same city for 12 years.
I'm a big Minecraft, or he said, and share that he originally started playing the game with his young kids, and he never stopped. A little something we never knew about Mike Tomlin, and I hope we find out more mid-week or major. Um, you know, I think it's kind of major because you're right. That's how we major. What's okay? You could say it's weaker mid. No, no, no, I think it's major because we don't know a whole lot about. We don't. I think it's a story. I know nothing about it. Like, really? You're a Minecraft guy. I would have never imagined that. I've never even seen the movie. Um, you know, but we all know the time our kids played it, or maybe you played it, or maybe there were a roadblocks kid or whatever. The fact that he says he got into it from playing with his kids. It says a lot about who he is, and the time he spends with his kids when he has the time. And I think that's nice. So, yeah, I can't hate on him for it. The other way, the Minecraft movie was great. Kavino, you know, you know, I heard it. I think it's, I think it's sort of mid, but it's cool to see Mike Tomlin. Engages with his kids the way you would think he would. I'll be honest, I know a hell of a lot more about Pokemon than I ever wanted to because, you know, when your kids into something,
like Mike can like poke him on a Minecraft, and maybe Mike Tomlin can babysit if he's free. I hope we find out more. He seems at the same hobbies as my son. I hope we find out more about like who Mike Tomlin is. He's a football field because really, I just don't know much about the guy. So, here he is. He's going to be on the call with there. He's going to be doing NBC analysis. So, it's cool. So, that's it for you guys. That's all I wrote. Minecraft. Not my speed, man. Minecraft, but as my dad would say, Sam. So, that's it for today, Sam. Sazic is on with Privilome, baby. So, thank you, Sam. Midweek or major. Your thoughts at Covino and Rich. And of course, we're streaming live at Covino and Rich FSR. So Rich, we got to go over tonight's game and more. I got the pick. All right, you got the pick. I got the pick for tonight. It's a lot. It's a lot. I'm going to give you your first win of the year next. All right. So, we'll do a next right here. Covino and Rich on Fox Sports Radio. Now Rich, football seasons here, we're all excited. And if you're feeding a whole crew every weekend, game day could add up fast.
Oh, keep telling me, bro. That's exactly where Sam's club's membership comes in. As you would say, Rich, members access to member only prices, exclusive offers, and great fines that help you get more value out of every game day. And this season, Sam's club has taken that value on the road with the ultimate tailgate, bringing football fans together with interactive games, football challenges, giveaways, and plenty of ways to get in on the action. Oh, then when it's time for your own tailgate, Sam's club. He's got a club has you covered with everything you need for game day, food, drinks, entertaining, essentials, and great fines all with the value that comes with the membership. Whether you're feeding the whole crew heading to a tailgate or watching from home, your membership gives you access to members only prices, exclusive offers, and more ways to shop. Definitely major. That means more value, whether you're planning a party or just getting ready for kickoff, so spend less time worrying about game day and more time enjoying it. More game day, more value. That's the Sam's club ultimate tailgate.
When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived, and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart, and these are the survivor files. You just remember this low taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything. Every week, I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up, without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed, and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled, and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. They're stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the iHeartRadio app Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman.

But I've never heard a story quite like this. The more I kept reading that stuff I thought, man, there's more red flags that just kept coming up over and over. We'll hypnotize them to strengthen that memory. So, he went into a good France. I really didn't believe any of it was real. And I was like, well, they're going to figure out this is not me. That's the Sam Club ultimate tailgate. So Kavino and Rich, before you give us your breakdown of the game tonight, Rich, the football guru of the show. I'm reading the feedback and I had a laugh, man, because Sam played that clip of John Kennedy talking about LSU. And I was like, that was a dude. Honestly, I was picturing a little old lady with like a bonnet, like an old mother Hubbard who stepped out. That's someone leading our world. That's a member of a Congress. I'm honestly like, I was a US center, not a state center. So that guy's a US center. Listen to him. Yeah, but before you play it, you got to read this feedback. Mr. Dog MW 5H hits us up in our live chat and he goes, Yo, that dude sounds like the old lady from the Sylvester and Tweety cartoon. And that's exactly what I was picturing. I just didn't have. I just didn't have the words to spit it out. But yes, listen to this guy. That's bone deep down to the marrow stupid. I've got I've got rocks in my driveway that are smarter than that.
They're not going to throw LSU out of the SEC. Let me tell you something. I had a lot of other people in the United States Congress. What will will be on them like a hobo on a ham sandwich? It sounds like a lady. He sounds like a fat like a you know how I'm when beaver cartoon bevers and cartoons have that whistle at the end. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, anyway, thank you guys. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Now let's talk about the game, bro. Yeah, I have a pick for tonight. I don't love with the point spread lands because I don't know. I don't feel like I'm getting the true value that I want to get. But I want to do a teaser bet we're going to do we're going to do teasers. We didn't remember last year, Danny, how hot we were teasers for a while. Yeah, you were really good until about week six. And then you I think the first part of the game and then we got a little cold and then we got hot again.
We got cold, but teaser you take two layers of the game and you could play with six points. That's a typical your your run of the mill teaser bet. Some say it's a sucker's bet. I think it's I like it. I mean, someone would say, hey, just do the money line man or you know this way so many ways to adjust points on draft Kings where you can move the dial where you don't have to do just six points. You can do whatever you want. I love taking I love taking it from 44 and a half to 50 and a half and picking the under. Is that what you're doing right now? You're going to do right now. I'm going to do right now. I think the I like the under 50 and a half. Because even if it's 24 21 or 24 seven, you know, like all 24 17 would yeah, that would be under two. Yeah, I think under 50 and a half. I like that. So under 50 and a half and past plus nine. I don't like all from plus three to plus nine. I rather try to get to 10 and a half or 10, but at nine is what it is. Maybe maybe you do a
lesser buy on the points and maybe get it to like past plus seven and a half. But I do like the Patriots getting points and under 50. So paths in the under tonight. That's where I'm leaning. I think that the Seahawks maybe they win the game. I just don't think it's a very exciting. Oh, that's not what you said a couple of weeks ago. You said that the Seahawks are going to start three and five. You didn't like them out the gate. Even DB said that they probably won't win tonight. And he's a Seahawks fan. I was surprised because they're at home. But he said that the Patriots want too much revenge in there. Just too hungry for I like the Patriots are going to have to not only control the clock and keep the ball in the hands of Drake May and keep the ball out of Darnel's hands, but they're going to have to play near perfect ball as far as not turning the ball over. If they win the turnover battle, then I could see I'm sneaking out a game. But I think this is going to be like 24 20 Seahawks tonight. Yeah, I think the Seahawks got this game to reach. You know what? That means you like my bet, Danny.
Yeah, you're bet, but it just, you know, kind of undoes what you said a couple weeks ago about the Seahawks. The Seahawks are loose. Stop with this. Stop your spin rate in Sam Donald. You know, you just said you said something that up until I don't know. What was the Super Bowl February? So what is that? Are you the minus the one carry the seven, seven months ago up until seven months ago. No one ever in their analysis said, and you got to keep the ball out of Sam Darnel's hands. No one ever said that. Now, I said never on the loves this guy. That's right. Yeah, there's a reason to love him now, right? Two reality tonight. Patriots win. You know what? Patriots win the game. You wish Mac Jones could turn into Sam Darnel. Mac Jones could see you. You know, I love that. The nine is still having because that he could. So I always say to bet against Sam Darnel tonight is bone deep down to the Mario stupid. That's what I think. Yeah, man. I would bone deep down to the Mara stupid. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, ladies. Little lady. Which prediction is worse? Rich's Cardinals prediction or Rich's Seahawks prediction.
Oh, man. I would say Rich's hatred toward the Cardinals this season because I don't understand where it comes from. I just don't get it. But it's a two team West Niners in the Rams. Seahawks under delivering and the Cardinals are going to win one game. You'll say. All right. Well, remember, we picked our picks for the season. If you have your picks, you want to enter CR prizes at gmail.com. CR prizes at gmail.com. All right. Until tomorrow, a remade there. You in the promise land. Let's go. Yeah. Yeah.
