Hockinson Park Shooting: One Dead, One Charged

Trent Richardson, 18, a 2026 Battle Ground High School graduate and standout football player, died from a gunshot wound at Hockinson Meadows Community Park in Brush Prairie on Aug. 15. James Gill III, also a BGHS graduate and UW baseball signee, was charged with second-degree manslaughter.
