Story Transcript:

Ja: 夏の日差しがまぶしく照らす病院の窓辺。
En: At the hospital window, the shimmering summer sunlight shines brightly.

Ja: そこからは、遠くのざわめきと静かな時間が感じられる。
En: From there, the distant hustle and the calm passage of time can be felt.

Ja: ひろしは、そんな居心地の良い部屋のベンチに座っていた。
En: Hiroshi was sitting on a bench in such a comfortable room.

Ja: しかし、心の中は全く安らいでいない。
En: However, his heart was not at peace at all.

Ja: ひろしは高校三年生だった。
En: Hiroshi was a high school senior.

Ja: 彼は長い間、家族の期待に応えようと全力を尽くしてきた。
En: He had been striving with all his might to meet his family’s expectations for a long time.
