This episode of the Dunlapatar Show is presented by Draft King Sports. Draft Kings! The crown is yours. So locally here, we're not in the local hour anymore, but that's okay. Locally here, and actually it's not even local, it's a nationwide story. Whatever company owns the Miami Herald, along with a lot of other newspapers around the country, just gutted their workforce. That includes the Miami Herald, which apparently laid off 30 some odd employees yesterday, including, you know, we're talking about sports, Michelle Kaufman, who for a very long time. 36 years. And she had since her last however many years covered soccer in Miami. I know in the past a lot of tennis, and she was laid off yesterday.

And I'm seeing messages, Chris. I hope Greg is okay. You too, I'm getting a bunch of texts yesterday. So of course, I knew I had to come prepared today, so I do have a statement for my dad. Okay. I'm going to use the statement via me. I continue to be employed. That's usually how people say I have a statement via me. Yeah. Okay. I continue to be employed by the Miami Herald today, but the professional ground beneath me is shaking and anything might be possible in the coming days and weeks. I feel heartbroken for colleagues who have suffered undeserved layoffs in the latest sweeping cuts by McClatchy. As most know, the newspaper business in America is in desperate straits. It's financial situation about as solid as the floor to A&M defense. I will speak about the layoffs, the state of the industry, and my future in it for the first time on the Greg Cody show podcast new Monday. So tune in. McClatchy. And I will say my dad, because I was at lunch with my dad yesterday, and he did not tell me this. So, and then I talked to him yesterday, and he says he has a column coming out this morning,

a column coming out Sunday. So I'm recording with him later today for the Monday episode. So I honestly, that's what I know. And it's, I know it sounds vague. So I guess we'll see. It sounds like he's working. Yeah. I know he's got a column that I think just released and he's got a Sunday column coming out. But again, though, just to confirm that statement was via you, right? Correct. Okay. Yeah. Well, via him via you via me, tell me that I need the famier joke. Who's me? That was a good. I think. So Dave, we had a lousy NFL game last night. I think it was in 49ers. The Rams went, excuse me, the Rams lose 27 to seven in Australia. Did you know, by the way, Dave, did you know what's called Melbin? I bet a lot of people watch that broadcast on Netflix. I say, why is Noah Eagle calling it Melbin? Did you know that Dave? I didn't know that. The other thing that really has stood out to me these last few days is the reporters who are over there coming up, show posting images of their eggs and, uh, and assorted

in case meets and otherwise and saying, here's my breakey. Here's my one wish early in this football season is, let's not let breakey be something we start saying stateside, please. But, um, but no, I did not know it was Melbin until yesterday. Breakey. I want to say something respectfully. And I know he's a friend of the show we had him on, I think last week. Noah. Noah Eagle. Yeah, he's good. Um, very good. Obviously, he's doing the Melbin thing. We're trying to figure out why is he saying that? Yeah, that's how they say it over there. Okay, fine. I was watching the pregame show like I said, getting a taste for what was going on and they had a dais of Noah Eagle. They had Luke Keekley and they had Nick Folls. Now I don't know if there was some camera angle tricks being played because sometimes in our situation, this camera angle here, like me and Micah kind of the same size, but I look a little taller, but then somebody who stands over there looks, looks much, much small. Like Jeremy looks like he's sitting sometimes when he's standing. Well, I am sitting most of the time, but over there sometimes he's standing right now,

but go ahead. Yeah, he's standing right now. So with that, it's like, I know the angle's complete trick. What does this show? And I get Nick Folls is about six, five, six, six. I get that. He was electric, by the way. He was good. He looked triple the size of Noah Eagle on screen. I'm going to see if I can find his green chalk as I couldn't find it earlier. He looks, Noah Eagle looks like he's four feet tall and Nick Folls looks like he's seven feet tall. You're talking about, you're not talking about Keekley, right? No, Keekley was in the middle and he looked to be about six feet tall. Because Nick Folls did the pregame show. I know. That's what I was saying. In the pregame show, he looked to be about nine feet tall. Like Noah Eagle was talking to Nick Folls, literally like this. He's like, Nick, what do you think about what's going to happen in the game? You know, you mentioned Brecky and there's a lot of things that happened down under that are weird, right? Compared to American lingo and vernacular and Christian McCaffrey detailed one of those accounts. Yeah, I was getting a haircut. I was getting a haircut today. Very few days ago and one of the barbers looks at me and goes, looks cracker.

I was like, sorry, what'd you say? I don't know what I don't know what it meant. I guess that means it looks good. But that was funny. He said it again. I hear that every Sunday. That's funny. That's funny. He had the funny joke at the end there. But that's a compliment. Say you look cracker. Yeah, yeah, in soccer, like, what a cracker that goal is. Whoa. Oh, how are you getting your hair cut? You're down under and you need to get the trim. It's a good point. Before the first game, you want to have a fresh cut before the first game. They've only been there for a week. Yeah, you want to have a fresh cut day before or a couple days before. I like a haircut like two days before I wanted to look good. I have a friend who's a broadcast or he does a lot of soccer. Is this what he's waiting him? And he sent in a soccer group chat one day because Chris thinks he's British. It's a weird thing with Chris. And so he's like, man, f***ing crackers in this game. And that is replaced exciting whites as a meme. Like, he's regretted ever sending that text because it's been screen cut forever.

You know what? That is a little bit douchey. Like, I like hearing when I watch the soccer matches. I like hearing how they talk. I like their verbiage for the game. But if I all of a sudden start talking like that, I'm a douche, right? Yes. Yeah. Americans who pretend that they are British for the two hours that they're watching their favorite premiere league play across the line for me. Yeah. What perform? Who are you trying to impress? Who are you trying to convince that you're that you become English? Because you you you root for Tottenham. You would hate Chris Wittingham. Oh, yeah. Mate Lads, the whole thing. Yeah. The Lads thing that like brilliant touch that like man, you're from Altoona. Chill out. I shit you not. He was watching the Australia game. He's like, what a pitch. Come on. It's an NFL game. Every single morning before the show, he would gather us in here by going, all right, Lads, just like that. Zaz, would you, if let's say it's the Super Bowl?

I've talked a quarterbacks about this in advance of the big game. Do you think which way would you lean? I mean, you're limited, folically, forgive me, but facts are facts. Would you though want to like grow your facial hair out and be sort of unkempt looking or be clean, shaving and all American boy as you run out under the field with a billion eyeballs on you? No, I'd rather be clean, shaving. Yeah. You would? Yeah. Like, I had to reset. I don't grow my beard out. Like, I told you. Right now, I'm in like a day after stubble, kind of look with my facial hair. Okay. When I grow it out, it just gets really itchy. I don't like how it feels. You ever think about doing like Ed Harris and Bruce Willis, Viral, Balding, kind of thing, like where you let it, what happens up top a little say three days worth the opposite of Christian McCaffrey. You don't need to constantly be being trimmed up all the time.

You just let it go a little bit. I think that provides a powerhouse statement to your foes. When you run out there for the Super Bowl and you haven't shaved in four or five days, yeah, I got another shit to deal with right now. I ain't worried about how I look. I'm worried about kicking your ass today. That's what that says, right? Zaz, I have a new hairstyle that's actually a bit of a fashion trend lately. Balding men are going with something called the woodpecker. Oh. And as you can see, you have more hair in the back and it kind of looks like a woodpecker and an additional man even has like the little design and it's to make it look avian and intraday. Look at that guy. Moll on the side of the head's not. Yeah. Yeah. The birth of our stuff. Tough look. Yeah. Alright. I'll consider it. Would you? Yeah. Why not? Yeah. Doesn't mean I'll do it. I'll consider anything. Alright, so let's keep our options open. For the next couple of weeks, you grow your hair out and then we can consider doing the woodpecker. I'll consider it. Do you like that, Pecker? Whoa. Cox. I'll tell you what, I thought that Netflix broadcast last night was good.

I did. I wasn't kidding. I thought Nick Foles was electric in the pre-sale. I thought Kekely was very good. You know, I never heard him do broadcast. I thought Kekely was very good. El Duncan, obviously awesome. And the graphics on the screen, you like this good score bug? Alright. And correct me if I'm wrong, but you know, what have been the big complaints so far with Netflix with their game broadcast, right? Where you had the opening night in Major League Baseball and you had the home run derby. It's all the bullshit, right? I don't think there was any bullshit last night, right? It was just a regular street board NFL broadcast. Yeah, I was a half time show was a lot. Oh, come on. What? Jonas Brothers. No, no, that's fine. But there was just like the choreography, like the people in the way. Oh, it's a half time show. It was just a lot and I didn't really understand it. Plus, I had it on mute because I was listening to the Keynes game with the audio. The pre show where they had the National Anthem, both National Anthem, then there's an old lady that got up with like a palm fron. What was she saying? What was she talking about? Was it the guy from Pearl Jam? No, that was the night before.

Okay. The night before on. Yeah. He's not listening to the show. Don't worry. On NBC. Like the Creedy. Did my big question when I saw the Jonas Brothers was just like, do you watch football Chris? I told you, he doesn't know the schedules. He doesn't watch football. He's talking about the five male. I will open the schedule. I'll draw a shall and resting because they've never given their easy schedule. I stand by that. I like, I can't really take Cody to task because the watching football thing because Zaz and Jeremy, by the way, we'll get your question a couple hours. Go ahead, David. Here. Well, this is my question for you is, okay. So that Rams, Niners game sucked, right? And the season opening game, the Seahawks and Patriots, great job schedule makers, by the way, who apparently didn't watch the Super Bowl. It's true. This game is so awful. Let's watch it immediately after. Okay. All right. Right back. Maybe this will work out better this time. I don't want to interrupt. I don't want to interrupt David's point. Please get there. But like, what are the Niners supposed to do?

Not be awesome. Like, they can't be blamed. Like, they kicked ass. One team showed up. One team showed up. That doesn't make it a bad game. I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about that. I'm talking about the results of the game. Dave's right. And there hasn't with all the stuff with Kyle. No, there hasn't. Has there been a good college football game so far this season? No, let's go back to the house. Who that Super Bowl? The Joaquin? No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. Oh, miss. I'm going to go to the sugar Melbourne. And then if they make it to the sugar ball, it'll be Louisville. Louisville is Louisville in Louisville. Football season is back, Jack. And there are certain games you must experience in person. If you told me right now your life depends on it, go to Santa Fe University and just take a picture. Jenna dan sassilo. I would die. I don't know where it is. This is the Dan Lebertar show. So the Super Bowl sucked. We all sucked. We vaguely recall that. And then the AFC title game sucked because it was Jared Stin. And 7th. The question is, when was the last good football game?

I'm not talking about all the soap opera crap around it. From Mike Vrable starting the off season. And who can embarrass the Patriots Dynasty more Bill Bella check and Tom Brady the rolling battle that they have going. And now we have even in football terms, Western Michigan that jive. And I don't know. You know, Rogers being a cuck. Everything is everything announcing on purpose that he is that. Everything is a soap opera. How about actual decent games? Eight months. The national title game was great. The CFP was phenomenal. There were a lot of great all time games in there. And like before the Super Bowl, you're just going to overlook. And that's not right. Like we'll brought it. No one cares. It wasn't even on a Saturday. That was weird. I didn't like that. I also didn't like the venue. Nissan Stadium. Why? No one knows how long until we hear how long until we hear from somebody maybe maybe standing to your right or left or otherwise.

That hey, I think the Cames could beat the dolphins. Oh, that's that's going to have that's that's about three weeks. That's kind of yeah. The first time like the first time a dolphin to get their shit kicked in. That's a conversation. It might happen with the winner of Texas Ohio State. We'll see. We'll see when that conversation has someone that was a former Browns fan. The Ohio State would be Cleveland dialogue was there for like 15 years. Oh, we this was a thing. You know, you remember what are we talking like? Oh, eightish when the dolphins went one in 15. And Alabama with Nick Sabin were the best. Could Alabama be the dolphins? That was a thing. And the answer of course is no. The dolphins would have won 100s and nothing. But that that was a thing is that could Alabama beat the dolphins? Which Alabama? Like like oh, oh, eightish. Derek Henry. Yeah, that that was 12 was that 11 or 12? Sure.

Let me see. Let me look at that one. I'm with you. A big boy. But I make it a game. Can I tell you something? So let's talk a little bit about this game last night, which was terrible. All right. But that come on. No, it wasn't like no one expected that from the Niners unless you were listening. To the show yesterday where I gave you some picks. So that was interesting to you because we didn't expect the blood. We got a terrible game. We didn't expect. Did you just did you rebuild plaschky? He said like you wrote an article that said not a hot take. The Rams are going to go undefeated on their way to winning another Super Bowl. This was a super team. And Miles Garrett ended up having one of his worst career games. Aaron Donald didn't even show up and Matthew Safran might as well not have. That was surprising. This was it. This is the the heaviest Super Bowl favorite that I can recall in quite some time. And they got totally stuffed in a locker by Kyle Shanahan and injured. Often questioned San Francisco 49 or team. I thought that was really cool to see. Tough look for the 15 staffers that were strategizing for years trying to get them the right time of when to leave. Oh, like you think? For the rolling narrative of this season.

This is a good place to start. The quality of the game aside, it is nice for the Niners to vanquish the Rams who everybody was in on. And this is a fate of complete much like the Keynes or Destin to be in the class. Well, obviously the Rams are going to win the NFC. This is a nice thing to sprinkle in right at the top. I'll tell you though, I did think it was interesting going into the game. The Niners leaving a week early. The Rams were going to leave the day before. Like we think this way is the best way to go about it. I did think that was interesting. But the conversation now where it's like, oh, clearly. The way the Rams went about it was the wrong way as if no one ever loses 27 to seven. Like the next, there's going to be a game this weekend where a team loses by 20. Are we then going to say, oh, they had jet lag. Like teams lose by 20 all the time. You thought that was no factor. I have no idea. I have no idea if it's a factor. Teams lose by that much all the time. Sometimes a good team beats the shit out of another team.

But we actually think that that is a factor. If the Rams arriving the day before plays a major role in why they lost that game yesterday, meeting the way one team travels is a difference maker. And who wins and who loses than the way the other team traveled. Then what the fuck are we doing playing these games out in Australia? Like these games, it's a divisional game. Are there any yons? Every regular season game is important. And if the game, if we actually think that the game boils down to the way teams travel to go play these games, then we should not be playing these games out in Australia. That's stupid. I largely agree with what you're saying. And obviously I definitely agree with week one games, the vision matchups. I mean, this is if you are the Rams and you lose out in the NFC West by a game, you point back at that and say, what the hell? What the hell? What's it worth it? And again, it goes back to Netflix and all the trappings around it rather than the quality of the game.

But I think if you're the Rams, you sort of have to convince yourself that that was the reason you got hammered the way you did, right? Because what a gut punch otherwise. The thing about the travel to the down under and jet lag and all of that. And it feels like, well, that would be real. But also, I think the average person like me is thinking about like, if I did that, oh, I'd be so tired the next day. But we'd be in coach. This is an NFL team. I'm sure not only are they in the lap of luxury, I bet they have those like, you know, those aliens, like you see an aliens, those tubes that they sleep in on their way. Can't they? I mean, the world's their oyster, right? I'm sure their journey to Australia was not the same as our journey. They did cryo sleep to Australia. That's what you're saying. That would have been sick. I mean, I'm sure there's something in between where they probably, I only have seen them in commercials. I'm so, I'm so a normal guy average guy. I've never even been on a plane that has those things that you see in the commercials where it looks like it's a little apartment for each person.

A life-flat seat. You never, you never been on a plane that was the same. No, no, no. It's like, no, no. You talk about the fun that are the little cubical kind of things. And they have a bed in them and TV. It's like a room, and I want, I want to move into one of those. I've been on one. Have you been in one of those seats? I've been in one. Really? Yeah. When I brought COVID back. No, tell me who we are. When I went to Thailand, I brought COVID back the original time. With a private room on your honeymoon, you know. Yeah, you did. A little mile high. Hey, look, I don't kiss until. Can we hear from... I'm not asking you to tell me if you kissed her. I don't bang until. Can we hear from Miles Garrett? Miles Garrett was a complete non-factor in his debut last night. Literally not even in the box score. Pukka Nukuha had more tackles than Miles Garrett last night. Absolutely nothing. Can we hear from Miles Garrett, please? This was the worst version of myself that I've put out there. Now, I've got to be better. I've got to find a way to recover and get back to the player. I know I can't be and I've shown that I've been before.

I mean, you know, it's an embarrassing start, obviously. But we know how good Miles Garrett is. Zonka popped the champagne. I love that. That's one of the time on her traditions. It's a satir now. No, Mercury. No, no, no. Not as many people pop in the champagne. Well, but Mercury Morris was always... Yeah, he was a guy doing the media. You know, wake me up when you're home from the... Jimmy Cephalo won the yellow team. What about you? I'm not sure of a me about that. I asked him about that. I said, isn't that an untoward tradition? And he got angry with me. He's like, about how it's a great tradition and how dare I. And they're not really doing that to embarrass anybody else, but to celebrate themselves. I'm like, all right, chill out, Jimmy Cephalo. Yeah. Learn how to call a play by play. So... God damn it. Miles Garrett was terrible last night. I don't think anyone... It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing. It was hyped up. He did absolutely nothing last night. But I want to talk about someone on the other side. And if you play fantasy football, you would... And if your draft was anything like my draft, Mike Evans was continually passed over

and over in your fantasy football draft as a wide receiver that you want starting on your team. This is first year, not playing for the Buccaneers. Matter of fact, last season was the first time in his career. I think it was 11 straight maybe. Last year was the first time in Mike Evans' career that he did not surpass a thousand yards. And that was because he only played like seven or eight games last year, mishap the season. Mike Evans was great last night. Immediate chemistry with Brock Birdie. Is there a more underrated wide receiver at the very least of this generation? Is there a more underrated wide receiver than Mike Evans? I don't want to come up with something. Oh, he's definitely going to be first-bound Hall of Famer. I have no idea because it's really hard for wide receivers to make first-bound Hall of Fam. It's weird how that works. But Mike Evans is for sure going to be in the Hall of Fam. According to Pro Football reference, he has... It's obviously the number system. So average Hall of Fam wide receiver is one at 1.7. Right? That's your number.

He's at 77. Really? Yeah. So they have him underrated also. And as far away with 30 points away from him being a Hall of Famer, according to... He has to be a Hall of Famer, right? The stats don't lie. Zero doubt. He's zero doubt. He will go to the Hall of Fam. Back to A&M, the story has been with him that he makes the quarterback the best version of himself. He did it with Johnny Football. And he really, across the board, has done that in Tampa Bay and immediately takes off with Brock Birdie in that game. Yes. It's a fascinating category, Zaz, I think, is underrated Hall of Famers. And that's a legit group of people and Mike Evans, to your point, is going to join that one day. I want to pit these two against each other and tell me who do you feel is more underrated. Mike Evans, Cooper Cups. I don't think Cooper Cups underrated. I think everyone was... You think he's properly... I feel like everyone was on his tip. Cooper Cups has had the better... One of them on the Triple Crown and had the best season we've seen in the world. He's had the better high, but Mike Evans has been more steady.

Yeah. Yeah. I got the better high. I think Cooper that one's easy. I don't know, yeah, that one's... Mike Evans has had some really good seasons. Best season. Best wide receiver. You might make a case for Tony that Mike Evans is the best wide receiver of the last dozen years. In total, there are guys who have splashed, obviously, Cooper Cups. You mentioned, but Zaz is playing... I mean, everybody in the world, no. Rejoiced. Rejoiced about Cooper Cups. I feel like Zaz and Bruce were... Just more sustained great than Mike Evans has at that position. In this generation, probably not. I'm going to have to find the guys who came in around 14 and still playing because you look at... I have it right here. Like, I have the receptions current active leaders, and there's two guys to me that stand out where have very similar lengths of career. They're actually ahead of Mike Evans and receptions, and it's Devonte Adams and Keenan Allen on their... Keenan Allen has almost 200 more receptions than Mike Evans in his career. Even though... So to imagine Evans has more yard.

Tony, you know that moment at a party or a tailgate where everything just sort of clicks? I know it well. Usually when I show up, everybody goes crazy. Yeah, you usually take all the credit for it, but it's because Tony usually walks in with Quarevo. I'm blocking my piss. Yeah, Quarevo is a thing that turns hanging out into... This is the night. Has that effect on people? It does. You usually take the credit for it, but again, it's the Quarevo effect. Like that moment in a big game where everyone in the crowd just starts standing up, hooting and hollering. Keep it, Quarevo. Keep it, Quarevo, baby. Down Lebatar. I'll go with this one. Dave, then a chick. It is come time now. This is the down lebatar show. So here's the thing with Keenan Allen. I think Keenan Allen's had a really good career, for sure. I don't think Keenan Allen's going to hold the fame. Nope. Nope, he's not. Nope, he's not. Nope, he's not. And I think my Evans is a Hall of Famer.

Devonte Adams, and everyone knows how great Devonte Adams was with the Packers of the Readers. I don't think Devonte Adams is a Hall of Famer either. I don't think so. Oh, he's going to be a Hall of Famer ultimately. I guess you could divorce... If you can't divorce yourself from the notion that it is Aaron Rogers, who made Devonte But I think when you look back, you'll say in Aaron Rogers, the shine that he gets for his career and all of that, you'll start to look at his past catchers over his career. And we'll all come to the same verdict, which is Adams was the best wide receiver he ever played with somehow that will benefit his shot again. The gold jacket. What about Isaac Bruce in terms of national conversation being underrated, like not matching the output? I mean, you know, the thing with the Isaac Bruce to me versus I think that's a fun debate is, you know, obviously subjective. I think Mike Evans in some, on some level is more underrated than Isaac Bruce ever was, by the way, Isaac Bruce two first names, but Isaac Bruce had, wasn't the best past catcher

on his own team. He was before Tory Holt got there. Isaac Bruce was considered like it's he was great for a while. Yeah, yeah, Tory Holt, not a Hall of Famer. That is the most of, you know, the Hall of Fame and everybody. I don't know if you got the most. Reggie Wayne is the most for me right now in the receiver. I think Reggie Wayne was better than Tory Holt. Yeah, I do. Oh, come on. I love Reggie Wayne. He's great. He definitely should be in the Hall of Fame. But Tory Holt was the past catcher for about a three or five years stretch there. The end result being that Isaac Bruce is in the Hall of Fame and Tory Holt is in, is inexplicable. That's weird. Yeah, you're right. That is strange. Reggie Wayne had a 1500 yard season. Okay, but like we talk about who had the better season or better career. Well, like I think that we're highlighting a run. Tory Holt had a three year period where he probably had a 1500 yard. Oh, I think Reggie Wayne had a better career than I didn't think that both those past catchers, both those past catchers suffer from the completely stupid and further proof that these

Halls of Fame need to go away and be replaced by the Hall of all. Let's move all the existing Halls of Fame up to where they belong. Mount Pius because one of the things that the voters do and we'll tell you is that it's like it's too much with that one team. We have to cap it. We can't wait. How many guys from that era from that great team? Like, well, I think probably an outsized percentage of them should be in the Hall of Fame as the answer if they dominated football for any stretch of time. And the greatest show on turf was like, wow, come on. We got Kurt Warren, I am Marshall Falkan. Isaac Bruce, enough already, everybody. Well, we're going to put them all in. No, but maybe the best past catcher on the team should be in the Hall of Fame, right? And so should Reggie Wayne. Well, Peyton's in and we got Marvin Hare said, all right, well, Reggie Wayne clearly belongs in there. So I think we're both kind of right on the Tory hold Reggie Wayne front because Reggie Wayne's best season was 1500 Tory hold has two 1600 yard seasons.

However, Reggie Wayne has the lead considerably on catches yards and touchdowns. He's outpacing them there. Reggie Wayne played on a Teo Marvin Harrison. Yeah, but don't say it's good. Take away catches. Yeah. I mean, the the counter argument was that he played with Isaac Bruce. Reggie Wayne has two first names too. Jeremy, stay ready. I'm going to get back to your question. I'm nervous. Thank you. But first Dave, did you see Aaron Rogers yesterday? Was you unlike with Cam Hayward? Is that the podcast that he was doing? Yes. What do you say? Everyone's got a podcast. You don't podcast your huge loser. And Aaron Rogers was on that podcast. And you may be you may be interested to know that Aaron Rogers and I have something in common. All right. Here is Aaron Rogers talking about how his relationship with former girlfriend and actress Shailey and Woodley ended. You know, then I did Shailey and I propose and she says yes.

Now she maybe felt like she was forced to make a decision. She could have said no, but not a couple days after that. She tells me, you know, before you get married, I got to go f*** this guy. And I'm like, because her story is that I ruined her life and gave her a crazy depression because I left her. But the actuality is she told me that and then she took off the ring by March. So I proposed in December took off the ring by March and we had a couple times where we tried to, you know, get reunited and nothing ever happened. And there wasn't even a relationship in 22 to break off. She literally told me, I don't want to be with you. After we tried to have some sort of reconciliation in 2021. So I'm like, there's just a lot of narrows out there that are just not true. So another thing that Aaron Rogers and I both have a comment, neither one of us is a cock, neither one of us. How great though is when he makes that revelation and the camera immediately pans the cam hayward and you get the the pro move of the quarter's fries.

And the head nod from cam hayward just a couple inches closer. It's excellent work by the director. Quick, camera on cam. They caught it. They caught the reaction. It's just a tremendous job. Tremendous work there Dave. How about you? I get right arm. Yep. You know, destined to get a gold jacket first ballot hall of aim or one of the lumbarity, but he announces on purpose into a microphone. Essentially, I'm a lousy lover. Oh, it's for you. I'll give you a one if you've paid attention to things that she has said has more than alluded to that. Wow. That's what I mean. Hard to say. What a weirdo. But even weirder perhaps is the reaction that this has gotten. I've noticed on social media just pouring through it. Just to see how people are taking all this because my reaction is why would you say that? What a weirdo. It's not just that that he just goes on and on with more of his conspiracy theories and how he's just telling the truth.

And really Aaron is the ultimate narcissist who declares he knows better than people who have devoted their lives to medicine because he read a medical journal once or multiple times perhaps even, but he's an expert on everything. What he really wants is he is a free speech absolutist, but for Aaron, he doesn't like full free speech because what he seems to resent is anybody else saying anything that is contrary to his truth. He's a weirdo, but all the people out there saying, could for Aaron, could I tell you what? He, you know, scorched earth on his way out the door, man. He's taken everybody down. He doesn't know, no, uh, F's lived left to give and all of that's like, what, what? He's just a rambling cuckoo bird. And by the way, if you're a stealers fan, which I don't know if I mentioned, I happened to be. So I, I hope, uh, I hope for the undefeated season to happen on the banks of the three rivers. But, um, is this good for the football team?

Is this useful? The week of the start of the regular season or is this, or could this possibly be a distraction as some sort because Aaron sometimes mentions he doesn't like distractions. Yeah, they'll win this week. Um, and just like Sophie Cunningham, it's throwing Molotov cocktail out there and they're wondering why we're not talking about the sport. I don't get it. I don't understand why we're not doing that. My favorite thing about Rogers, and this has been the case for the last few years, is, this is my favorite thing. I love this about him. I really love this about him. In order for there to be a favorite thing, you have to have a lot of things about him that you like, but this one here is our favorite. Yeah. And this is mobility. This is my favorite. My personal, I can come up with the top five. You know what? All stopping it back to it with my top five when we get back to my question. And I will remind you and your friends at Falcon Steelers game. As in, that's going to be a, it's going to be a do you want to go to that? Especially if you're starting that defense in your draft game. And Rogers versus Cooper Rush. Yeah, I would love, if we're two, I might have purchased tickets to see that game. How would you've done it? I'd really, I'd want to be in that barn. And the way that I would have done it, I'm so glad you asked here. And me is, I would give my friends together and be like, guys, let's go to this game.

Let's get our tickets. Where are we going? It's game time. That's it. I was telling, I was telling it game time. I knew game time. I was telling it game time. And then I would tell him, let's download the game time, AppCrate. Who count? Who? The user code Dan. And we got $20 off our first purchase. Oh, yeah, we do. That's what I would say with my friends. Yeah. Try and supply. Again, creating account and use code DAN. Beautiful. Dan, for $20 off, guys, I live and breathe this thing. I'm going to high mark Stadium for the Opener against Lions. Guess what I used. I told my friends, my gradigan who's on my top 25, I was like, game time. And he was like, yeah, let's see. Get that seat view. No, zone deals. The best. Hey, you ain't going to go over there. Yeah, they're playing the Focke. And say how to win. There should be. They do a to a tag of a low as he's not even showing. Dude, he's, he heard his back or something. I think it said that dude from the Cowboys who's starting to get Cooper rush, I think, or whatever. That dude named me. He got, he got two last names.

He don't even have a first name, but he's the starting quarterback for Focke. I think Rogers and Cummings, why aren't you going to be back there? No, they're going to be chasing him around. He's going to just wing it at the, at the end of touchdown, dude. So that's, that's kind of the game. That's what my friends would say. That's exactly how it would go. It turns to pie. Yeah. Now, I, I've been told that that's kind of like a Lake Tahoe accent that he has, but he hasn't always spoken that way in a Rogers. Oh, it's on. Oh, I'm sorry. Tony, that's right. It is your time to shine. You have a top five. I do. Hey. Tony, top five is presented by season two of the Hitman Mount Plus Show. Topland from the underworld of Guy Richie. My Blanc's on Tom, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Aaron, Helen Mirren. It turns September 18th. Only on Paramount Plus. Tom Hardy, the rapper? Yes, the rapper exactly. Lake Chaos, Ray and Tony. What a show, by the way, ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't seen, Mobland, really, it's on my list.

It's on Paramount Plus. It's electric. Tom Hardy is the man. They hate him, though, right? Pierce Brosnan. In real life. I don't know about that. I don't care about that. Yeah. It's definitely Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, head of a crime syndicate in England. You got to watch it. Great show. I do like that album of Tom Hardy's. It's a number five. Jackson Smith and Jigba is inevitable. It doesn't matter who the quarterback is. It doesn't matter what defense you play on him, even though Christian Gonzalez did have a nice play on him in the red zone. But got a zone buster, got in there, ran for 45 yards. He ran so much faster than everyone else. He had a higher team chasing him. He was surrounded by five guys and he just kept on putting that work in the office. He's in picked up a few things from Malachi. I saw that. Yeah, by the way, I know you're in the midst of this, but the other side of that game was the Patriots lose and they lose AJ Brown. And now they host Pittsburgh. And I'm not bullish on the dealers this year, but I do think the defense is going to be pretty good. And if they're at 0 and 2 yikes, not good, not good.

I mean, then, then the noise begins. If Mike Rabel's 0 and 2, then they can't afford to maybe consider what's next, right? Absolutely. Number four, watching Miles Garrett versus Trent Williams was Chinema. Chinema? Yeah. Watching Trent Williams still be able to do what he's able to do at 38, 39 years old was insane. He completely just neutralized Miles Garrett's. Who's the best defensive player, maybe ever. And it was just like, excuse me, nope, not happening. Oh, you want to swim? I'm here. Oh, you got it up under Bull Rush. Sorry, not happening. Like he did not record a tackle. Trent Williams was on his ass and to see Miles Garrett in that uniform. Be stopped by that guy. It was like, I felt like Homeland are sitting in the theater just watching. And I was just like, incredible. Number three is Matthew Stafford Cook. As he cooked, I'm asking. Wow, we talked about it. We talked about it. We talked about it, but also there's other people on the team other than Puka.

It just seems like he drops back to passing. He's like, where's 12? Oh, he's not open. OK, I guess I'll just throw into the dirt. Sad to see somebody else. Good. That's the problem. That Devonte Adams could have been open. I saw a lot of 13 personnel. Like, quorum. Saw a lot of Terence Ferguson running routes, air routes. Is this everyone just naming their fantasy players? That's what we're doing now. It's not what we're doing. What did you say? Actually, Ram. Well, I like Blake. David, I'd like your thoughts later on Blake. Number two, so much for the Rams perfect season. There it goes. We had the entire offseason talking about the Rams perfect season. First game, 17 and 0. They're the best team ever. The greatest defense of all time to the 85 Bears. They got the MVP and Matthew Stafford Puka. And Kuhn's going to win the triple ground. And you score seven points and get to Australia 15 minutes before the game. OK. And number one, complete proper chaos, just like Mobland, just like the Herring and Family. Drake may implode, but the Seattle defense is proper chaos ladies and gentlemen. The fact that they were able to do what they did to Drake May in the fourth quarter.

Three interceptions, bad decisions, all of them by him. But the past rush, the linebackers, the secondary, everybody combined, force the out of the cost proper chaos in that game. Drake May has to hit the gym too. Yeah. Zero definition in those. He is a little flabby. And I see AJ Brown four to six weeks. I know. Yeah, where's Romeo Dodgs got frying pans for hands like Joel Anthem? Yep, they gave him a ton of money and says he wasn't locked in. And Joel Anthony just wanted to here. Well, when you think of frying panhand. Who do you think of? I do know that's the first guy. He's probably like listening to our show right now. Like what the? No, he's right. That's OK. So great. You think of frying panhand. Who do you think of? Like the guy from Blink 182. Like what the? I think a Joel. I think a Joel Anthony everybody knows that. Football season is back, Jack. And there are certain games you must experience in person. I've had games where I thought I waited too long and I was going to miss out.
