GOP Panics as Dems Force Epstein Files Showdown!

Republicans in the House of Representatives are terrified that

Epstein survivors may finally get some semblance of justice.

And so they're racing to finish House of Representatives business,

send the House of Representatives home again.

Why? Because they don't want to vote on the Epstein

Files Transparency Act 2.0.

And right now there is a major race against time.

There's a major race against time because a discharge petition

is circulating to try to get this bill to the floor that will

give survivors an avenue, a legal avenue, a way to sue the

Department of Justice and other regulatory bodies that refuse to

provide them justice or accountability.

And well, Mike Johnson doesn't want that to happen.

He wants to send them home.

He wants folks to not be able to get accountability.

That's why you're here.

And it comes on the day that we learned about a horrific election

plan that could undermine midterms in November.

And I spoke with Robert Garcia, the ranking member on the House

oversight committee.

You're not going to want to miss that.

But Congress and Thomas Massey is coming out with a major statement

today saying that he wrote,

Conna, Congresswoman Teresa Leisure Fernandez from New Mexico

launched a discharge petition to collect 218 signatures to force a

vote on the Epstein Files Transparency Act 2.0.

And now rumors are circulating that Mike Johnson wants to recess

the House until after the midterm elections, he wants to send

everyone home until after the midterm election so that they can

never vote on this legislation.

But this legislation is growing a discharge petition essentially

forces the hands of Mike Johnson.

This is what happened with Epstein Files number one.

Mike Johnson wouldn't put that bill to a vote on the House floor.

And so what happened?

Well, they collected signatures and signatures.

And then they got a majority of signatures in the House of

Representatives.

They need 218 signatures.

If they get 218 people, members of Congress willing to sign on to

the Epstein Files Transparency Act 2.0, it'll force Mike Johnson to put

the bill to a vote.

In just 24 hours, they have 37 signatures.

Multiple Republicans have signed on as well.

If all Democrats sign on, they will likely have the votes.

But Mike Johnson doesn't want to ever get to that point.

Let's look at exactly what Johnson is trying to block.

He's trying to block a private right of action.

Allowing states to turn in general district attorneys and other

authorized state official members of Congress and victims to challenge and

sue the US Attorney General, run lawfully with holding redacting the

land concealing, removing or failing to publish Epstein records.

He's trying to avoid giving victims the right to obtain full and

unredacted records concerning themselves or the harms they suffer,

including relevant FBI 302 reports.

He's trying to avoid enforcing compliance with the existing law by

subjecting DOJ and FBI officials to federal criminal penalties for

knowingly concealing, destroying, falsifying, withholding or

misrepresenting files.

He's trying to prevent the Department of Justice to provide state

local prosecutors with unredacted records.

Remember, there is an act of criminal investigation going on in New

Mexico, the only active criminal investigation going on in the

country in the Epstein Files situation.

And he also, I mean, all of this is, it can happen.

It's bipartisan legislation.

You have Republicans, you have Democrats, but Speaker Johnson wants to

send the House of Representatives home.

He's willing to try to undermine the elections based on this new whistle

blow report that we learned today, but he's not willing to give survivors

justice or accountability.

I spoke with Congress and Robert Garcia about the bombshell whistle blow

report and so much more.

People need to know what's happening right now in Capitol Hill, light

comments shared, get the word out my conversation with Congress and

great to have Congress and Robert Garcia back here on the Parnas

Perspective Congressman.

I want to jump right into the big news of the day, which is the whistle

blow report Congress has received from a USPS official about the

November elections and this USPS plan that they're implementing.

Can you get folks a rundown of where things stand on this whistle

blow report?

Yeah, so we actually talked to the whistle blow just last night.

The whistle blow and of course they have a team now representing

representing them, which is the appropriate approach.

And the lawyers have gone through some really serious allegations and

we've kind of vetted this and at the end of the day, the bottom line

is this Donald Trump is trying to rick the 2026 mid-Jimmel election.

We know that he's attacking vote by mail.

He's been doing that in the courts.

We know that already.

And the system that he's setting up right now at USPS is untested.

It's unworkable.

It could cause real disruption and who is allowed to vote by mail.

When a ballot is actually possibly removed from even being counted,

I mean, it goes at the heart of voting right in this country.

Now, as you're aware, right now, there is a stay.

I mean, the USPS and the president shouldn't be doing anything to limit

book by mail.

And yet that is an ongoing project for now, USPS.

So is what you're saying that they're actively violating a court order

that's been issued by federal judges?

That what we're seeing right now?

We believe so.

We believe that right now, even though the administration has an order

to not move forward on implementing the president's kind of executive orders around USPS,

that is still an ongoing project.

Now, this may get to the Supreme Court, you know, obviously, it's in the process

right now.

But what the dangerous part is that Trump is pushing through an untested system

where you could have essentially this program deciding

who is getting a ballot, deciding whether a ballot should be sent out or counted.

It's providing all it's providing all of this power essentially to the president.

So we view this as very concerning.

If it's a Supreme Court, they should they should do the right thing here

and block any of this implementation.

It's just an unworkable plan.

And that's I think the concern also from registrars and county officials across the

country, ballots are about to go out.

We cannot stop this.

Our concern is that the president is trying to cause fear around vote by mail.

So even if the courts side with us and we're hopefully will,

there'll be enough fear out there.

Let me stop some people who are actually voting by mail.

Well, I want to talk about one part of the whistleblower report that I found

particularly disturbing in that's where the whistleblower alleged that this new system,

while it's scanning ballots, it could scan one ballot improperly.

And then it throws out a whole list of ballots, a whole bucket of ballots.

Is that accurate?

That is accurate.

And look, and our, by the way, just our conversations with the whistleblower are ongoing.

So we intend to release additional information about what's happening at USPS in the days ahead.

But it's our understanding that the system right now that finds an inconsistency or an

error in one ballot, that that entire batch of ballots that is with that one ballot

could be essentially then not counted.

I mean, that is that is denying people's right to vote.

I mean, you are throwing out ballots that have no issues.

And even the ones that perhaps have some type of issue,

I don't trust that the president or USPS are actually going to treat that ballot

with due process here.

I mean, what they want to do is rig the election,

because we know that President Trump has a history of doing that.

Well, so my question then is, and a lot of people are going to ask the same question,

is what can be done about it?

What is the oversight committee under your leadership doing to ensure that

a people are educated and be, I mean, you don't have too much power between now and November,

but if you were to become chairman of the oversight committee, what does that look like next year?

Well, first we have to stop, of course, even before the November election happened,

we have to stop Trump from implementing this plan.

And so we're a full on right now, just focus on the courts and putting together our briefs,

working with a bunch of teams across the country that are working on this very issue

that we're talking about.

So that is job number one.

It's a stop implementation of the system.

We hope that we will be successful.

We think we will be.

There's even a conservative court generally has,

have broadly speaking, has sided with us on some really important cases as it relates to

access to the ballot.

So we're hopefully the Supreme Court will do the right thing here.

I mean, they have to.

They can't deny people access to the vote by mail.

And if someone's out there and saying, I may be concerned because I may not get my ballot,

or my ballot may not be counted, what's your advice to them?

My advice to them as of right now is to if you vote by mail, continue voting by mail.

There is no change right now to the system.

If something happens where there is a huge concern, we will, we are going to,

we'll be screaming to, you know, all day on night.

But as of now, the voting system is safe, registrars are safe,

but Trump, as he always does, is trying to cause havoc and trying to really impede

on people's ability to vote.

He's been doing this by the way for years, right?

He's done it when he attacked, when he didn't believe and wouldn't accept the fact that he lost

that presidential election against Joe Biden.

So he will continue to try to interfere in elections.

We've got to push back every single time.

Now, looking ahead to a potential democratic majority, would you commit to potentially subpoenaing?

For example, the USPS Postmaster General and other officials within USPS?

Because to me, this is not just a November issue.

This is a 2028 issue as well in the presidential election.

100%. We're going to dig in on this.

We're again, talking to the whistleblower.

There may be other folks at USPS that may want to talk to us.

And so our intention is to have the, have USPS and the leadership,

and anyone involved in this program in front of the oversight committee.

And so I guess my final question is, if someone is at USPS watching this,

or in any part of the federal government that wants to speak to you,
