Good News for Failures

What do you do when you fail God again? Most of us know the cycle of good intentions, spiritual resolutions, and inevitable reversals. Samuel Johnson, William Carey, and even Simon Peter struggled with the same pattern. But in John 21, the risen Christ meets Peter after his devastating denials. Around a charcoal fire, Jesus doesn’t demand apologies or guarantees of future faithfulness. Instead, He asks one question three times: “Do you love Me?” Then He recommissions Peter to feed His sheep.
