2:01giving out the game balls, recapping the action from week two of college football and what it means for the 27th NFL draft prospects. And Keith, we got to talk about the money makers and guys who helped themselves in week two. No hiding from the tape. It's time for money makers and bag fumbles. Keith, I started the code open. I mentioned Jeremiah Smith. We were getting to him in just a second, Keith. You want to talk about archmaning and that was your guy who's been your QB1 coming in back to back summers coming into the season. It didn't look good early in that game. It wasn't all arch. Like he had some some air mails for sure, but the receivers and running backs let him down that fourth quarter, 21 points in the fourth quarter leading down the game. Winner drive keys. What did you see from arch briefly before we get to Jeremiah Smith? Yeah, DP is much more than the game winning drive. It was previously that I think it was the third quarter. I think it was the end of the third quarter going into the fourth quarter. And what he did was he found himself DP and we discussed this on his very pockets, right?

3:03I said, listen, if it's not working, if the passing game isn't working, tap into your legs, right? Let your legs get some confidence. Make some plays, turn it into back your football a little bit because arch seems comfortable doing that. And so you see him go through that progress. He picked up a couple of first downs with his legs. He scrambled. He made some you call unorthodox quarterback plays, right? He stopped trying to be just simply a pocket passer, realizing that, hey, I might be a four or seven athlete. And that's enough to impact this game. And he tapped into that. So I give him a stock up DP. He is a money maker because I thought that when everything was going wrong, mentally, he found the way he tapped into what his abilities are and stopped trying to be with everybody wanting him to be. He tapped into his abilities. And then you see that that was able to make him successful and will his team to win. Yeah. I got to give him credit, you know, just with some effect to like to your point, the toughness, the fact that he never looked out of sorts. Like, I looked at his face, I looked at his mannerisms, his body language, and he never

4:04looked down in this game. So I'm with you all the way on that. I think he helped himself. A lot of people at the end of the day, when you have big media and different people, just like I think was Paul Fahmbaum, I think called him Generator. Somebody I can remember. It was some wild stuff said, I think last year. I mean, he's looking at Hollywood and West here. Yeah, give it a lot of different angles. All of them, man. And just a lot of, a lot of pressure. We talked about it previously. There's a lot of pressure we throw on him. And to me, he's a guy that's, I think he's built for it in a sense. People are not expecting, I'm not impressed. I'm not wild. I'm like, it's week two. It's Matt Patricia, Ohio State. Let's give him some time to get settled. But talk about Ohio State book eyes. Keith, Jeremiah Smith proved that, and you know, I hate the term, he's a generational talent. No, go deep into it. Lean into it. Deep into it. I hate this term so much. But he's undeniable. Keith, he is so undeniable from the aspect of this dude is an absolute game changer.

5:10At one point in the game, when Ohio State was down, I think it was that they were, well, no, no, I say it was up. They were backed up inside their own, maybe 30. And it was like a key third down. They got pressure on Julian saying, and this one of them situations, Keith, that when you think about the, the best of the best we've seen, you've seen Jamar Chase and Justin Jefferson, Megatron, Julio Jones, they're down there somewhere. And he just, just lobbed it up for the alley. And it was a, it was a vastly under thrown ball. And it was a double move by Jared Maier Smith that if it was thrown in stride, it's a touchdown. It's a walk, it's a walk away touchdown. Man, they had no answer for him to the point where number one, Texas was doing a lot of free releases. And I don't know if people were tweeting like, why are they giving them free releases? And I went back, I was watching the film. And I'm like, well, even when they went man to man and line up at the line of scrimmage, hit like we forget the yes, he's 6, 3, 2, 25.

6:10Just do has insane short area quickness. His foot quickness at the line of scrimmage is ridiculous. So if you try to bury him. Yeah, it makes it tough to press him when you have quick rapid foot quickness and you have the strength and power and the size that he has. It's always the first man. And I think that, and not to get too in the exos, I think Texas was like, let's just try to stay on top of it, right? Give him everything. Maybe getting bailed. They understood who he was and they understood who their corner backs were, right? And it was like, let's just give him everything underneath. DP. In terms of Jeremiah Smith, I think it's time to ask the question, is he the best ever in putting him in that conversation as far as college draft prospects into the NFL? And you mentioned the Jamar Chases, the Justin Jefferson's, the Julio Jones, the Calvin Johnson's, you know, the list can go on with quite a few other names. You have to put him in that conversation now. You're talking about going against Texas, everybody knew that you were going to stop Jeremiah Smith. And at some point in the game, DP, and I was about to text you, I was like, he's showing

7:14that there's no answer for me. And that's when you become a new chip prospect, right? When you become the generational guy is that when there's no answer for him, okay, cool, you don't single cover me. It's going to be easy. You don't double cover me. This is going to be easy. You're going to bracket me. This is going to be easy. You're going to play 10 yards off. I'll take the other neat stuff, right? There's no answer. And I'll quarterback show is tomorrow, but there's no answer. And I have okay quarterback play. So imagine if I had, yeah, if I had really good quarterback play where this would be. So he, I think now when we talk about money makers, we go, how is this stop getting any higher? I think there's going to be serious thoughts. He's not going to play on the board. Depending on the team, should he go number one overall? Depending on who the team is, right? If your team would have quarterback, if you'd have lost Vegas Raiders, why not? Right? And I don't even know if it's a situation from the Chicago Bears and the Carolina Panthers with a bear's treated down, get a bear's treated down. The Panthers treated up. If I'm the Raiders and I'm sitting there and I have Jeremiah Smith, I don't know if I'm

8:16training. I don't want to one because I don't want to meet your hall. I don't want to hear my smell. Don't know the spot I want to go to is two. So if you're not a sitting there, you're not going to get Jeremiah's. I'm good. Yeah, I'm good on it. I had all those thoughts, D.P. at 10 o'clock last night. This is crazy. Like, there was, man, the play where he had so many plays, it was a back, not back shoulder, but it was a throw on like a crossing or a deep overall that was not like the ball, place it was behind him. And he just spins and snacks it with two hands. I'm just like, bro. Yeah. I'm going to post about. I'm going to post about an Instagram, but if you want to know what, if there's a definition of body control catch radius, focus, strong hands, it was that play like all in one, like because that was so difficult to want to be that big to not even stop fully, but do a full circle through it in the air, extend your hands.

9:16Like the amount of strength and like chorus strength and body control that took what's up with it. And it's probably not going to even make his top 25 highlight, right? Like it's not going to. Right, right. You really understand the game and understand those body dynamics and how would it take to do that? You're like, that's impressive. Like the end, that's a wrap. I've seen enough. It's over. It's over. First overall pick. Yeah. The Miami Dolphins Las Vegas radius, either one of y'all just take Jeremiah Smith and don't look back. Yep. 100% with DP. 12:18It's time for money makers and bag fumbles. Kids, we just went on and we gave so much praise to Jeremiah Smith. And in fact, I think the biggest takeaway for those listening and watching on YouTube everything else, the key is there's levels. And we talked about Cam Coleman on Friday. It's like, man, this is your opportunity. This is your bright spot. This is the spotlight for you to not take the title away from a guy who's had it since his freshman year. But to go and say that I can be on this type of level and keep that, you tell me if you agree. I think Cam Coleman fumbled the bag dropped it dropped pass. Yes, it was a slightly overthrown. He had to stretch out for it. But that's a ball that you at worst is incomplete. It doesn't bounce out of your hands and off your body back in the air for interception in a situation that would have given you illestheories, neuro, Ohio State. You can't, inside the 10 and you probably score a touchdown.

13:18Now you get the lead out to get seven to three or at worst tie it up. That was a situation you just can't have. No, DP, you can't. And the discussion about Cam Coleman right in regards to Jeremiah Smith was sitting around, hey, can you make this a conversation of, hmm, could Cam Coleman? Does he have a shot to be why I receive a one right? And that's what we wanted to see. We wanted to see the performance things of that nature. I think after Saturday nights performance from both of those guys, I think there's even more distance. Because then that's what happens, right? When you perform on the same stage, the same spot, like the same situation, same time, select going against each other. Like we say, it's not them matching up. Jeremiah Smith is in covering Cam Coleman. Cam Coleman is in covering Jeremiah Smith, but the production part, right? And it was glaring that, okay, this looks like Jeremiah Smith is the better way to receive a prospect. So that's why I say that, you know, there was some money laws. There was a stock down on that situation because of the drop pass and then pass the drop

14:19pass DP. There wasn't a huge presence of Cam Coleman in that game, right? And I know we both are going to the film and see if there were different situations where he, you know, may have uncovered and things like that. But the dominant presence of Jeremiah Smith, it just didn't match up. And so that's why I see stock somewhere down. And I still think he's why receiver two, it's just there's probably going to be a bigger gap as far as can he even catch Jeremiah Smith, why receiver one in this dress. Yeah, no, he's definitely why receiver two. I still have him as a top, even still as a top 10 prospect, right? Like it's not that he, but like you said, the opportunity to make this more of a conversation or to bridge that gap. And then he, I don't know if you saw, but he made a quote before leading up to that game. I think it was like sometime last week. He said confidently there was a warning to the Buckeyes defense where coming, where coming. Well, that was not a warning that they took lightly because we, we, besides that play,

15:22which you got open, we, like you said, the presence, the impact was not felt by, by Cam Coleman. And that's just unfortunate overall, right? You wanted to see him take that step and make the necessary plays and everything else. So he definitely heard himself in the regards of like, yeah, you're still a top 10 prospect. But if you went out there and did or matched what the, the dominance of Jeremiah Smith, and you have 160, 170 yards receiving in two touchdowns or touchdown period in that game, you probably, at yourself, little, because you think we, we talked about it in, in beginning with Jeremiah Smith, the Miami Dolphins and Las Vegas Raiders, maybe even the jets needing another wide receiver. The, the Raiders need another wide receiver there. They just paid Michael mayor before week one and they got Brock Biles and everybody's looking at well, Brock Biles is probably going to be used as wide receiver one in this offense, more detached from the line of scrimmage.

16:22Lowe and kind of, you probably come out in what looks like 12, but he's one of the wide receivers or whatever the case may be. You're a big slot and everything else to let Michael mayor, the bigger, stronger, better run blocker play more in line. Guess what that means? You need a real wide receiver one. That's what it means to me. So yes, you need to Jeremiah Smith. But heck, if Ken Coleman stepped up to the plate and hit a home run, the Miami Dolphins and Malik was playing as well this season, well enough for you to see him and evaluate him and say, you know what? Let's keep him. Then you can go get Ken Coleman and pair him up with Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell and give him the weapons that he never truly had throughout his career, some young guys on cost efficient contracts. And you got Devon H. Chan and everything else like, Ken Coleman just hurt himself from being a top five pick in my opinion. Yeah. And I thought of most recently, the Malik neighbors and Marvin Harrison junior thing, right? Malik neighbors pretty so well going into, well, their last year in college football,

17:23that their world conversation that he was the best wide receiver in the class, right? And then Marvin Harrison kind of had the crown from freshman year Malik neighbors get on and had a very strong finish. And there were conversations of, hey, should the Cardinals take Malik neighbors over Marvin, Harrison junior DP, student of the neighbors, I'm going to stay in my neck in the woods. I'm going to go with quarterback, quarterback Sam, love it. And the three interceptions and simply put D.P. because I know you may have somebody too. You can't do that. And as much as, you know, there was national championship conversations after the Clemson win, three interceptions against Louisiana Tech, that's going to be a stock trending down. If you did that against Clemson, we might have like, okay, that's Clemson. They feel like they're back. You did it. It's Louis. Yeah. So up, he's a, he's a stock down guy after that performance, even though they boot him out, it's still a stock down situation. Yeah. He's, he's, he's making this e-vow very difficult, very difficult.

18:23He doesn't go to a guy that we, we both like, but he just did not have the impact of Oklahoma Isaiah, Satenia, the white receiver man. He's explosive. He's dynamic. He's all those things. He is a, I believe, a undersized white receiver that, you know, I think he's listed five, five, 10185 Michigan. They played a mixture of zone and man. They got physical at the catch point. They were in the hip pockets of receivers and made John Mateer's life. We'll talk about a little bit more tomorrow, made it very difficult, Keith. And I'll say this and I'll be honest, man, just watching that, I wanted to see Isaiah, Satenia, separate and make plays. It's just, it's going to, it's going to raise that question of, you're purely a slot and you're a guy that we have to, we got to make sure we get, we, we run the route. He is going to get you open and get you away from type man to man coverage with that physical , physicality can disrupt you at the top of your routes. Yeah, I agree. And that's a huge part of why potentially Oklahoma struggled, right?

19:23And you need that, why receive a one, you need that guy that you could depend on. And like we said, everything should have translated because this is a 900 plus yard receiver last year, right? So you're thinking of big time and a big time moment. You should be able to play well, go get the football, find different ways to get the ball in his hands and he be a guy that you can lean on in those tough moments and tough situations. Absolutely. So man, listen, you know, we talk, we took back from this key, we talked money makers, you know, we got to do next. 22:28all because of you our every day is it's time to hand out our game balls. Keith Game Ball of Week 2 man what what NFL draft prospect are you giving the game ball to or is it multiple. Yeah, it's yeah I'm going with multiple I'm going with the Texas run game right I'm giving the top of guys relief Brown and Hollywood's mother's and listen. Reliquity was was part of the issue at the very beginning right with the fumble. Yeah, that's the very first player of the game. The fumble out there on the perimeter trying to catch the football he was stripped of the football but I thought both of those guys kept Texas in the game while quarters one to three um the entire offense struggled they were able to get some traction right and then in a fourth quarter you seeing those guys turned it on and I think up which you were able to pull from both prospects was wait Reliquity appears to be more densely built is a little bit more explosive but he can run through a couple people's faces right he can be a tough gritty runner um from Hollywood's mother's you said wait this guy smoothed in between the tap was right like there

23:31there's some fluid movements to him um he could get in between gaps in and out of gaps um there's some lateral agility uh good and in both presented themselves as good overall football players and I'll see this they were more dependable in that game than what the passing game was right like if you look at the running bags versus the wire receivers the running bags showed up um even with Reliquity with the fumble um I think Texas wire receivers had two drops they had a I think they might have had two fumbles in both of them one of them was at least recovered uh by camcola remember the other guy from what he came jumped on and I think there's one more fumble if I'm not mistaken but so if you had to compare support groups of archmaning the run game and those two running bags relief brown and Hollywood's mothers they definitely showed up in a big way um and when you look back at it obviously archman is going to be the overarching storyline but these two guys are getting the game ball because they brought an element of toughness and grittiness to this Texas team that they needed it they needed stabilizers and on offense they need to stabilize us throughout the game and there those two guys were were key pieces um and then they finished the game all strong

24:37no hundred percent you know I mean you look at what it relief brown is like 10 carries for belief of 54 uh 54 yards while you know you uh while with um not really but with uh Hollywood's mother was 21 carries 74 yards he had the two rushing touchdowns in this game so I I love that call like you know anytime the running bags get some love on this but I'm all forward Keith uh I'm gonna go to probably one of the bigger upsets of the weekend one that we talked about was that they were 22 and a half point underdog Oklahoma state being beating Oregon why it young the white receiver for Oklahoma state five receptions hundred and twenty one yards receiving and a receiving touchdown on that great throw uh by Drew Mesta maker who we all probably most likely talk about on tomorrow as well for sure talk about him on tomorrow but yeah man why young I believe he came over with Drew Mesta maker from north Texas and he had himself a day man against a very listen

25:38organs seconded at a defense is super talented right he again he had a hundred and twenty one yards receiving of the three hundred and seventeen passing yards from Drew Mesta maker he's a route runner he got deep over the top of the defense tracks the ball well and he tough tough playmaker man so I don't think they win this game without Wyatt Young I don't know Drew Mesta maker like similar to arch you know Drew's gonna use the quarterback right uh Nick Sabin always says quarterbacks even get too much praise or too much blame so yes the headline out of that game is gonna be Drew Mesta maker's stock is back up but Wyatt Young played a outstanding game against a really good and talented secondary for the Oregon ducks and Keith I again without him I don't as I think he's that the the number one in the favor target for Drew he's the guy that he can trust to get open I don't know if you win that game Drew threw two picks in that in that game anyway one was a pick six other one could have been a pick six I don't again he wasn't he wasn't he wasn't

26:40clean in that performance without Wyatt Young there there is no victory for uh the Oklahoma state um you know oak for Oklahoma state the Cowboys date did not they see they're not see this coming did not see this coming at all in terms of the win um I expected them to fight back and everything if they were at home it was like a a reindeer delay delay a weather delay and everything so maybe we're going to go because it's staggered the Michigan Oklahoma game right like the music in Oakland first and he was able to switch watch the back after I look I actually I'm not mad at this because yeah and because the the 230 slot with 330 for you debuting East Coast was kind of me right so I'm like okay like yeah Alabama Kentucky I'm like we should probably look at the college football landscape overall and be like hey we don't need Alabama Texas in them Oklahoma Michigan and something else all in a slot one let's let's stagger this thing out so we can watch a little bit of everything right and and figure it out but deep I really wanted to ask you um in regards to why receiver why young what type of why receiver did you see

27:45that he was right like it this is a big body possession guy is this a slot guy like with with paint the pitch in the field um I kind of feel like he's probably going to be in a slot guy he's well he's let's say six foot two hundred pounds oh yeah so I'm not gonna lie he's kind of built to me like Cooper Cup and everything um so I definitely think it depends on the offense he is drafted into I think he can come in as a as uh to me as a guy that could be a wire see the three in the NFL offense that could eventually work his way to potentially being a two um I want to get more into his film but I think he's probably more of a slot to Z Z receiver guy that can make players after the catch in my opinion um we always say this about white players he's got sneaky athleticism um you know the kid over the top because he was wide open like you know I'm I think he ran like maybe well I think it was a post-route or would not but it was a deep route down the field and everything and he was wide open deep the second there got over the top and made the play so shout out to white young man him um like I said Hollywood some others from league brown and what they were able to do

28:45for Texas and and I think Texas outrushed if I'm not mistaken Ohio State in the second in the fourth quarter of that game uh on Saturday night so yeah man I mean those three gentlemen Relic Brown Hollywood some of his white young probably they weren't guys that people were probably pagans heroes coming into the weekend but they were definitely unsung heroes that their teams wouldn't win without yeah I mean in us with the game ball segment like it's about right from from week to week is that listening those guys that one I and I look at it from the perspective of like raising their draft profile right and I think if you go back on a game and ask people and I'm like oh no I remember the Texas running backs they were pretty good and the reason I wanted to highlight them too is that Texas has been missing a running game for the past couple years right I believe sends B. John Robinson you know Jonathan Brooks was in there a little bit but really B. John right was back sir but he been yeah I think he had a 20 ACL injuries and all right so it was very tough but I watch both of those guys D.P. and and especially Relic as the the game went on he got
