Thank you for being brave, brave, brave, brave. Yeah. And if you threw a party, you invited everyone to do. You would see the biggest gift would be from me. And the heart attacks would say, thank you for being brave. Go ahead and give this stage to us. Go ahead and give it to us. You'll hold up, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. It's the one and only. Carry Vickmore. And Tommy Little. This is Carry and Tommy. How are we going, guys? I'd rather Vickmore. I would like to be. I'm so tired. Big show on the whole of April.

A lot of the country today, but we never rest. In fact, I've set up a little bed here. Did you know that? Even though you're not going to use it, because you're not going to rest. I'm not going to rest, but if I did. How can I use the bed now? How many hours a day are you sleeping at the moment? A lot. Because I reckon you've ticked over the food. I reckon you're sleeping more than half a day. I didn't sleep a lot on the weekend, which is why I'm tired. But generally in life, I'm having 12 hours a night, and then usually an hour nap at some point during the day. How much is too much? What do you mean? Often people are not getting enough sleep, but there's got to be a tipping point where it becomes unhealthy. I'm just so tired all the time. I think it's like, what's it called when it catches, like it's... I sleep that. No, you know it's you. Tiredness. You're dead. No, you laugh. One day I will die, and you'll be like, we teased her about Ash. Oh, man. That's silly. And she'll know. It'll be because I'm sick or something. It's time-sleeping. Don't wait. I'll get up at your funeral and say, hey, just in case anyone's heard rumours.

Carrie barely slept. And also, Carrie didn't die doing what she loved. She's actually doing it right here. And then she just gets up and we're like, oh, she wasn't dead at all. That was just a real long nap. What's coming up on the show tonight? So today. She's already skipped dead to bedtime. Yeah. Let's get a tune on and keep Carrie and other microsleep. We'll be back. This, this is Carrie and Tommy. So I went to the F1 at the weekend. Oh. Oh. Olli was my plus one. Actually, it was one of those moments where most of my life, I've obviously... What is your smiley hair? Because, you know, when you're sock falls down in your shoe and it goes a floppy, you know, no one else knows, but you feel like a failure in life. That's why I don't wear socks. I was like, I think there's something wrong. And look at what's happened. Tommy's blown through the end of his sock. So bad that it is riding half way up his foot. My half foot.

Like, some people have toe holes like in the end of their sock, but you've got a whole half of your sock. It's like you're only wearing the back half of the sock. You're not wearing it. It's like, you know, leg warm. Yes. That's exactly what it looks like. I took Olli to the F1 as my plus one, but he went early in the morning. He did a hot lap, actually, and he was very excited about it. I wish I had done it, actually. I think I'd like driving fast. You know, you're the passenger. You know, you're the passenger. Yes, but I think I like going fast. I like rides that are on the ground that go fast. I think I'd really like to do a hot lap. You're like rides that are on the ground that go fast. Yes. Like when the cars ride in Disneyland or over at California World. Oh my god. So is the lamest of it. No, it's not. Have you been on the cars ride? I have not. And it's like you're in a race track. Anyway, that's why I think I'd like the F1. How fast is the cars ride? It gets pretty good.

It's pretty fast. I don't know. Olli reckons he went up to 260 yesterday. This is the hot lap. I'm talking about the cars. No, I don't know. The cars. It's interesting. When you've said, I love things that go fast. I'm like, what have you been in that? The Lightning McQueen's NASCAR. No, we've got the cars ride, top speed in Disney. California Adventure Land is 64 kilometres an hour. So cool. Just above the schools. You get a ticket in a school. Just above the schools. Anyway, then he ditched me and he went and sat at a certain part of the F1. And I just wander around finding friends. Literally, I literally would go find a group of people I knew sort of. And then I'd latch on to them for a bit and then they'd go meet some other people and I'd go find a new person. I was like the creeper that just stood in conversations. Did you meet anyone new and fun? Yeah, lots of people new and fun. I had a great day. Because you're in the famous bit. What new family? Oh, no, no, no. I didn't make friends. Oh, yeah. What about Swahili? Swahili. Swahili.

Swahili. Swahili. There goes a real crowd. We got Swahili. I was meant to go to some party. He was out and I didn't go on. I wish I'd gone to that. Oh, tell us more of the things you didn't do. Awesome. I didn't really see much of the race. It's a heart. I've asked you one question. What new famous friends do you have? And all you've done is tell me all these things you haven't done. But I didn't meet new famous friends. You were in the famous people's sense. Yeah, but I don't just hang out with famous people. I spoke to all the people. And also when she meets famous people, she doesn't know who they are. So how would she know? I didn't, I just wanted to just normal people. Swahili. I'm not thinking you didn't speak to anyone. That was a line of fairly powder. The day so to face. Just a few moments. No, just a friendly question. The assumption that I only hang out and talk to a famous people? It's a faraway... I didn't hear that. They said which famous people do you hang out with? Yeah, because that's what's interesting to hear. Okay. Anna and Tim Robotz. Oh! Ah, that's good. Yeah, great. It took a long time to get there. You're me. Actually, no, I didn't get to see him in the end.

Tell him to tell you more things that I didn't do. Anyway, Anna and Tim, I enjoy it. They were having a lunch. I told Sarah Snook was there. And she, of course, is with Dave Lawson, who I would assume, are you friends with? No, well, I don't see Shnooki. Shnookums. I didn't even see who won the race. All I did see though, I tell you what I did see. Oscar, what's it done? I don't understand. How do you drive into a wall when you're just warming up? Why are you asking us that question? Because you seem to know more about it than I do. It's just not true. You're so defensive right now. Do you even go to the Grand Prix? Is this some kind of thing? I did. He didn't keep backs. She's watching the clip on TV. No, I saw George Russell George. George Russell. George Russell. George Russell. I'd saw that he won. And I saw that Oscar didn't make it to the start line, which was disappointing. My son's a McLaren fan, and that's PS3, isn't it?

Yeah. The 131060. Carrie reckoned she was at the Grand Prix yesterday. Give us a call. I was. Give us a call. But no one cares. Why are we talking now? I want to get to talk about Russell Pete. What's his name? George Russell. I'm so tired. Okay. What do you want to do with? George Russell. George Russell. Did you see him when he won? No. So normally he does his yeah, but ever do you think? And now he's mixing it up and he's doing this. Very nice. Very nice. I like this car. I like this engine. Which is obviously Borat. Yes. But it's Borat. Wow. He's a very nice. But is it pretty close to his accent? Who? George Russell's. Where's George Russell from? I don't know anything about it. In British. His English. I thought it was pretty close. It wasn't quite as. You know what I mean? Like Borat was a bit. Give us your best. Very nice.

Very nice. Very nice. I don't know. Go on. Indian again. How does it happen? So cool. Carrie. Give us a. Mauaf. Mauaf. What would you like? I don't want people to call on 131060. Do we want them to give us their best Borat? Or do we want them to give us... Yeah, maybe if you want Carrie to be a Mauaf. We want them to give us their best Borat. Yeah, give us your best Borat. Okay. Give us your best Borat. 131060. He was a call. This is Carrie and Tommy. Carrie Bigmore. And Tommy Little. 131060. We want to hear your Borat impression. Yes. Because... But it's a public holiday in most of the country. No. It's tough. No. It's tough. It's because George Russell, who won the F1, what team's he from? Yes. Which team's he from? Allegedly Rat Mercedes. Mercedes. I was there yesterday. George Russell has changed his... I haven't seen any picks. Carrie has proof that you're there.

I am. Obviously I'm joking. There's been about a thousand of them. I'm your post-it one. I'm very nervous. I'm just guessing. So I become a bitch. You started the show being very defensive. I did see you wanted answers from me. I didn't have. How fast does the cars go? I don't know. Who won? Which celebrities did I hang out with? I didn't. Well, you did. I didn't. But then you did say Tim Robards. I wasn't going to start. How much did the drinks cost? Yeah, that's a great question. How much? I didn't pay for it. Anyway. Very nice. George Russell has a new celebration now when he wins. He says this. Very nice. Very nice. I like this car. I like this engine. I can't quite tell. So you... So you reckon he's doing like ball wrap, right? Yeah, listen. But I can't tell when he goes back into his... Does he slowly transition back into his own voice? I can't tell when he goes back into his own voice. Does he slowly transition back into his own voice? I can't tell when he goes back into his own voice. Very nice.

Very nice. I like this car. I like this engine. Yeah. It's a lot of his engine is when he's back to him. Sam. Oh my god. That's where I was meant to say it, right? What do you mean? You can say whatever you want, Sam. Give us your best for it. My word, Bruno. It's good. Is that all he says? Honestly, I don't know. I don't even like what my... He says it all the time. Yeah. What else does he do? I'm not asking you, Sam. Yeah. Why were we were? Why were we were? Yeah. I have a chair. I have a chair. We really stoop low here. I love that you called Sam, even though you're not even letting him to borrow it. We need you today. So thank you. I appreciate it, too, Sam. Thanks, guys. Should we give Sam 50 bucks? Yeah. Just give us money. Yeah. Not! Is that for it? Who we got there, Nick?

I don't know. I'm not thinking for it. What he's saying is, I like this car. And I'm like, no, no, that was just a dross. I like this engine. I like this engine. Lee. Lee. Yeah. How are you? You're tired. I love how these are women calling out. Are you a Borat fan? A little? A little? Oh, no, you're a woman. I thought he was a woman. Give us your best Borat, Lee. I don't like my wife. He likes to take all of my pens. Someone's called up and says, I have a chair. Is that something he says? Yeah. That was cool. Oh, I didn't hear that. I'm so nervous. Where have you been? I was just remembering my day out with Tim Robach. It's time to slow down, switch off and unwind with Fiji Airways.

Because the best time is FijiEarWays.com. Ever. Okay. But I'm just a think about it. It is fun. I'd just straight away then imagined where I would put myself in feeding. Oh, I'd be sitting in. What are they called again, Carrie? A Borat. A Borat. A Borat. A Borat. A Borat. A Borat. A Borat. A Borat. I swear I sound drunk. And I have not had a single bit of alcohol. My brain is slowing down. I'm so defensive today. Because I'm so too late. But you didn't say anything. No, I know. Because as I was speaking, I was like, why do you sound like you're speaking so slow? And so I'm so tired. And then I was like, people are going to think I'm drunk. I'm not drunk at all. I've not even had anything. I'm telling you. I'm just one drunk person would say. Yeah. But I have them. I don't think anyone thinks that. Do you not think I'm sounding like I'm half asleep? Is it just my brain's working slowly? Oh, Carrie, I think you sound. And it's like this. How you will. Normal. Like you do most days. This is Carrie and Tommy.

Listen to Carrie and Tommy live on the listener app. Have you seen the red at thread? Am I the asshole? No. Can we say that word? Sorry. I know what you're talking about. It's where people go. Sorry. I didn't hold the door for this person. Am I the jerk? Yes. Yes. So I wanted to give you a few of these examples. Because there's some that the internet cannot decide if the person is the asshole or not. So I thought we would make the decision. If you have 13, 10, 60, one, if you've got thoughts on any of these scenarios or two, you've got a question for us and you want to know if you're the asshole in the situation. Oh, I've had you gone from asking, can I say that to say it about seven times? A hole? Is that better? Yeah. Right. That's all. Also when our opener. Oh, yes. Let's play it. Am I the asshole? Am I the asshole? Am I the asshole? Am I the asshole? Am I the asshole? Am I the asshole? Okay. Okay. So the first one on this reddit thread is, am I the asshole for asking my friend to pay me back

for the wine he drank while house sitting? So he said to his friend, help yourself to whatever you want when you're house sitting in the kitchen. And he thought that would be common sense stuff like snacks and stuff. And he said when he got home, he's made her drunk $120 bottle of vintage burrallo back burrallo that he was saving. And so now he's then mowed him for $80 and asked, said he's given him a discount. A discount. But he wants the money back. A dickie. I don't know what happened to your voice. He said he's given him a dickie. He's a little wine. A dickie. Do you think that he's reasonable or not? Is for money. Yes. It's so unreasonable. He's a house, sat your house. Yeah. If you didn't tell him that the wine was expensive and said, have whatever you want, then that's on you mate. But it's also what it's reasonable. Do you think it's reasonable so to ask for the money? Help yourself does not apply to things like wine and nice things. That's everyday basics only. If someone has it for you, you get them a bottle of wine.

No, no. It depends whether the house sitting is helping them or you. So if you're going away and you normally lock up your house, right? But you've got a friend who needs a place to stay and you're like, you can use mine if you want. I think it's different to you've got a dog and you need someone to house it for you while you're away. Oh, it's made it complicated. No, I think it's made it quite because one. You think they're doing you a favor by housing for you. Wine is, don't help yourself to that. Well, he's now gone on the group. What? I think wine is for drinking. But that's what the guy wanted to. You wanted to celebrate his promotion. You could buy another bottle of wine, mate. Anyway, he's now on the group. What's that called? He's made tacky. He's what? He's now on the group. What's that saying? He's made tacky. Oh, sorry. What do you think, Carrie? I would never ask for someone to pay that back. No, I think you just suck it up and hide it if you don't want them to drink it. Yeah, I agree. Okay. He's the next one. Am I the asshole for telling my neighbor? It's not my problem. Her newborn wakes up to the noises coming from my apartment.

So her apartment, she has a dog that barks. Yeah. And they make a bit of noise. They're like more of a party household. And the newborn lives across the hall. And the newborns on a sleep schedule. With the parent on a sleep zone. It's renting. Got a good, weekly rate. And the newborn keeps waking up. And so the woman said, can you keep the noises down? Cheers. No, the fact that your trial wakes up to my noises is not my problem. They are. I do think this is interesting because I believe in generally a noisy life. I like noise. And I don't think you get the right to silence. I think existing in this life. People really involves understanding that there are other people in it. And so when people are on planes and they want a baby to quiet down. Or there's dogs barking in a neighborhood and people are like, keep that down. That's unfortunate. That's life. And if you want to be more successful. What if you're in a library? Get a house. If you're in a library. I'm still down. That's fine. Makes much noise. What if someone's like listening to music or watching something on their phone

in on a train or on a plane? Did you see that? They banned that on a plane. Yeah, you're not allowed to ban it. Yeah, you have to. That's so frustrating. Sorry, it's annoying. But something's in life or annoying. It doesn't mean you get the right to go through and exist in silence. Do you think something like that's assuming that everybody likes noise? What if you're a person that doesn't like noise? Why do you have to exist in a noisy world? I just meant like, if people aren't deliberately being a jerk to you. So people aren't yelling just for the sake of making your meal unpleasant. If you're at a restaurant, people chat and they're out. Like, you know, it's part of being a human in life. Can we speak to Wes? Is what's Julie saying? Or Jamie? Can you get one of them across? Julie, how are you? Hi, me. Hi, me. Hi, me. Hi, I was doing about the house city. Yeah. What do you reckon, Jos? I reckon it depends on whether they get paid to my house or not. Oh, see, I was assuming I was assuming with house sitting.

It's doing in the face of my face, kind of thing. Well, it's doing the, make it a way, I favor. I figure you're looking after their house as a mate. Yes. Sometimes people get paid to do that, though. How much money you reckon you can make house sitting, Jos? People make a fortune house today. Oh, yes. I'm a place for holidays and things. Wow. Actually, my brother used to be a, like, he used to... Professional house. Yeah, moved from place to place. It was under the dog sitting in umbrella. So he'd take care of houses with dogs. And he'd get paid or he'd just have a hair. He'd get paid, but varies like it was based on. Baseline. Like a hundred bucks a week or something. Yeah. But, and the free accommodation, and of course, free bottles of wine that is necking for me. 13, 1060. Get involved in the conversation. Up next, I have one, though, that I think you're all going to very much disagree with me on. So do Airbnb's. And who gets the big bedroom when you go away with the crew? 13, 1060 years cold. Amadiassol. Amadiassol. Amadiassol. Amadiassol. Amadiassol.

Amadiassol. Amadiassol. Amadiassol. If your newborn baby is waking up because the neighbor's house is noisy and there's dogs barking and music playing, is it the neighbor's fault? Or is it your fault for having a newborn baby, Christian? Hey, guys, how you doing? Very well, thank you. Are you in this situation right now? I am in this situation. I have a beautiful three-month-old baby girl. Congratulations. Thank you, guys. And what happened? Is the neighbor's noise waking her up? It's not so much the noise that was waking her up. Like, firstly, I believe that if the neighbor's approached in a closed circumstance like that, if the neighbor's approached and asked for just a little bit of quiet, yeah, everybody has their own life. You could help just that little bit in remembering that there are other people in the world. Of course. Maybe this person needs some help. So my situation was very much the same sort of thing. Asked my neighbors if they could not keep their noise down. I would not like that at all. But just asked if they could maybe towards the later hours,

reduce the noise at little bit. Just a bit. You know, they don't stop your life, but just a little bit. Just give your child back, Christian. Yeah, that's it. It helps me with the words. Yeah, pretty much. Unless the words I was told to do one. So back to the old saying, if you can't beat them, join them. Well, this one, if they can't join you, I had to beat them. So I just got my work speaker and that just runs on batteries. And with a simple swap of the battery overnight and hooked up to my phone, they are listening to beautiful sounds of whatever I put on the speaker. It could be some dirty noise. It could be some other things. Whatever it is going. But doesn't that mean now your kids waking up to your noise as well? Well, it would be in a normal circumstance. But I am lucky enough that I've got double brick in the way that my house is. And I'm sort of close to a main road where our bedroom is anyway. So the muffled noise of the normal road anyway. Doesn't she look for that? Christian, is there any chance of a ceasefire on the horizon? Are you going to have a chat with the neighbour? It has led to a ceasefire and a signage of declaration that there will be no more war

because after a week of said videos and noises and dancing with the tulips and brain rot, they quickly stopped and got the idea that I wouldn't back in there. Was there a piece of it? Sorry, I stopped talking to her. I just started to feel the other way around like he was annoying. Oh, yes. I mean, you know, there are sides to every story character. There are. Oh, you're not giving up. No. Well, here's another one. So when you go a new book in Airbnb and you're going away with friends, how do you decide who gets the master bedroom? The oldest person. The oldest person. Yeah, so like a family of parents. What if you're with friends, though? Yeah, well, Johnny, my housemates are like 15 years old and me. So yeah, he gets it. I give him the bigger room. Really? Oh, whoever's booked it. Okay, well, that's interesting because this woman's gone and read it to say, she's done all the work for the triple way. She thinks she should get it. Oh, hold on. Is she single?

I don't know. Yeah. I'll record it. I'll record it. No, really going on a girl's trip. And but one of the girls reckons that if you're going to be in the master bedroom, you should split. You should pay more when you split who pays when you go away. I don't know. That's a bit much. Yeah. I also. I do understand the idea of well, I booked it so I get to live in the big room. But imagine. Like I said, if you were single and knowing you made so like we've got couples and stuff and they're cramped into the little room. No, I think in this case, they're all just single women. I think you just flip a coin when you get there. Don't you? I mean, I would always I would never go into the master. I'd let other people have it. Have you went to last time you've carried a coin round for this kind of coin missing? This is carrying to me. I saw what weathering heights on the weekend. Oh, you've been wanting to see that carry. How was it? It was so good. Oh, it's a lot darker. Jacob. Oh, Lord. I did. Oh, there. And Margot, it was so dark. I actually think you'd like it. Am I meant to know the story? No, I didn't know the story either. I don't think.

I think it's Betty. You don't know the story. Is it Dickens? That's a good question. I don't know. Or is it a cleaner kind of movie? It's very risky. And although there's not enough nudity for my liking for that two of those hot people. Is it a Dickens? In screen. I don't know. I don't know if it's a Dickens. It's a weathering hot city. Bronti. What's her name? Emily Bronti. Oh. Anyway, there's a bit in the middle if you go see it and you'll know the bit I'm talking about. There's only one bit in the middle that you'll be like, what is happening? And other than that, I loved it. That bit I didn't like. But, you know, each their own. I'm not going to spoil and say what it is. But you know, if you go see it, you'll know you go. That's a bit carried. I was talking about. I don't know how to feel about it either. That's very cryptic and gripping. I think you should go see it. I think you'd really like it. If you're a fan of Margot or Jacob or if you're a fan of like gritty kind of dirty, dark, twisted stuff, it's really, really.

What? Is it? Yeah. It is. I thought I was going to see a love story. Yeah. Yeah. With the name Wuthering Heights. Yeah. It does. And it's, and it's, I don't know if that's their interpretation because I haven't read the book. But it's pretty like full on. Yeah. Yeah. Except for the bit in the middle. Yeah. The bit in the middle was very full on. Oh. It was almost too much for me. It was almost too much for me. Okay. Anyway, what have we got coming? Oh, I know what I want to ask you. Yes. I've got a question for you up next. Okay. This is carrying Tommy. We did something like this recently, but I've got a new game for us to play. Okay. Oh, great. You've got to remove two of these things from your life. No. Okay. Hold on. Hang on. Sorry. So you give us three. I'm going to give you like a list of six things. Oh, six. And two things have to go. What's going. Okay. Music. Mm-hmm. Exercise. Mm-hmm. Sex. Love.

Money. Alcohol. And social media. I'm going to give you the list again. I can't remember them. I'm going to give you the list again. Music. Yep. Exercise. Yep. Sex. Yep. Love. Alcohol. Social media. That one's easy. That's so easy. Yeah. I wonder if we've all got the same thing on there. I'm remembering. So two things have to go. But permanently, you don't get them back. Well, I can remove exercise and incorporate that into sex exercise. Sex. And so then I only need to remove social media. That's what I would know. I wouldn't have done exercise though. I think I would have done social media and alcohol. Mm-hmm. I was saying that you've done alcohol on social media. alcohol and social media. You said that didn't you tell me. Yeah, I said that as well. The same. The game's a good game as they say. Is that, is that, is that, have we not more rounds? Well, it's just, that's, that's all it is. Like the conversation around what could you go without? I actually think we joke about exercise, but I don't think I could joke about it.

I could remove it fully from my life. What were you replacing alcohol with, or did you not have that thought? Well, I've done stints of not drinking before. Yeah. Like, I've done three pregnancies where I haven't drunk and, and like, almost a year after those pregnancies. I think, like, I do love a drink, but I think I could do that. Or you just be California sober. Stop that. Okay. What's what? I don't understand. But I've also done long stints of not having sex either. So maybe I can do that. And I didn't realize I had the power. But I wouldn't want that. It's not my choice. Was your list working out what you've got to put back in? No, she hasn't done that in ages. Yeah. What I've got to put back in. It's Gary Bigmore and Tommy Little. Hold on. So we thought we did a little break and that we were done with it. But then we kept talking about it during the songs. And we got to talk about it again, because this is outrageous, what our producers have said. Our young hot gorgeous producers said something outrageous. And I say they're young and hot for the reason I'm telling you. So there's a thing going around

where you have to pick which two actions in your life that you would remove from your life forever. So music, sex, exercise, love, money, alcohol or social media. We pretty much came to the conclusion. It would be for Jesse and I. It would be social media and alcohol for you. It would be exercise and social media. I would couple exercise into sex. And it's a nice little loophole I've found. Okay. Well done me. Because if you like your sex involving push ups, push up as long as we're not doing the push ups, we're up for that. No, I'm going to have to plank though. I'm going to have to bench press the lady at some point though. Was it cool? Grab her in your arms. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I give her a cuddle. Yeah, love just looks a little different. But our producers, all of them are girls and they all buzzed on straight away when we were chatting and said that you'd all give up sex. Why? What's happened? No, sex is

great and all, but I really love a drink and there was other things on the list. So I'd remove social media and sex because if you have love. So you could have love without sex with the, I mean, that's marriage. Yes. You could have love with that sex with the rest of your life. Yeah, I think so. I agree. Could you watch? I think now that you throw in the love. I think that should be an out. Oh my god. I would, I know. I would know. I would know. So maybe this, okay. So I found it interesting that producer Kiran over there, even though you said all our producers are girls, we do have one that has a beard. And sorry, Sammy as well. I don't know, as Sammy's girlfriend's ex did the room. She doesn't want to say they're no six. In case it hurts Sammy. producer Kiran, despite working on this great music network has chosen music. I've had enough of music. He's so much music in the day. No, but you won't get the day music.

You'll get no music. Yeah, that's fine. I can put it out. Yeah, because you can listen to podcasts. That's fine. Yeah. Oh my god. You're a soul. When you keep towing the company line. When you have your birthday, does everyone just stand around and watch you? We all sit around. We all sit around and listen to Joe Rogan at double speed. This is Carrie and Tommy. Listen to Carrie and Tommy live on the listener ad. And up next, a very funny comedian and dear friend of ours who recently posted a picture from the ER department overseas. And I have no idea what it was about. We'll find out next. This is Carrie and Tommy. This man is a fantastic comedian and you can catch uh Lemo's camp event. Go to the appendix at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. And then the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. He's also, and I've just found this out, Australia's number one combat comic. And he joins us now. Get out of there, Lemo. Lovely to be with you team. Can I say it's still a line from Tommy Little? I'm up and about.

Did I count? You are. I'm up and about. I did say something. I think it's offended, Tommy. When you walked in, I said there's very few people that every single time I see them, their warmth just fills me with joy about you. And I think it's left him feeling a bit ordinary. You've kind of dusted over it now. It was Lemo. You know what? There is so few people in this whole world that really put a smile on my face when I see them. It is so work on your warmth. You need a warmth over Tommy Little? Yeah. I'm going to put that on my comedy festival poster. Yeah, you should. You should see Big More quotes. Carry Big More Warm. Hey, warm, warm, warm. I was not a good way to describe someone's show. Is it funny? He was warm. Once I said, can you explain this to, and I meant this as a complement, okay? I was catching up with someone who hadn't seen for ages, and I said to her, and in my mind, I'm giving a genuine positive compliment. And I said, you look really healthy.

Yeah, that's great, isn't it? She was offended. No, that's fast. Does that mean she's lost weight or she's gained weight? No, healthy means you've been in a good paddock. Yeah, I see. That's what my mum used to say to me. Oh, you're like you've been in a good paddock. But I think healthy, if you've not been looking after yourself and suddenly you get fit and someone said you looked healthy, no, you'd probably just say you look good, wouldn't you? Yeah, good. Yeah. Anything you can say about a baby, you don't want to be called as that. So it's like when you've got people go, oh, it looks like you've got little or a lack of bands around your ankles. Lack of bands. Yeah, we call them lackey bands where I'm from. Are you calling it a lack of band? A lack of band. Yeah, to be honest, I don't know if I'm right, you can have this one. Back to the healthy woman. Yeah. What did you actually think? What was your word you would have said? In my head, I thought she looked great, right? But I didn't want to say as in like she'd lost weight. No, no, no, I just thought she looked good. She looked good. Why did you choose healthy? Because I thought if I said you look good, that might sound a bit creepy. Creepy. Yes, with that moustache, you're ugly. I think it would have.

It's got, well, what about his warm energy? It's got real dodgy vibes. That's my one. I get people really look twice when I'm in a school zone. Limo, have you ever met my own sons like dad back off? Have you ever played a criminal in something? Because even though Carrie is right, you do have one of the warmest personalities of anybody. But at a snapshot, I reckon you'd make a great criminal. Well, newsflash. I don't know how much. What can I say? I'm about to. I'll tell you that. I'll say that. Hi, criminal. Yes, all right. Yes, all right. You got a shopper looking vibe to my men. I'm about to play dirty cop. Oh, I love this for you. It's the new you. That's the new me. So, and what's great about me playing a dirty cop is that I will have the warm glow, but people will be like, oh, he's an asshole. But I kind of... Yeah, you get him. I kind of like him. Yeah. Are we in this thing together that you love? Oh, we're actually, we probably are. Yes, we are. Oh, guys, tell us. What are you talking about?

I'm about to get screwed over by a dirty cop. Are you playing a criminal yourself, Tommy, true to your character? No, no, I'm not. I actually don't know what my role is. Tell me now that the picture is crystallising in my head, we have scenes together. Yes, that's exciting for Hollywood and us. I didn't know you were shooting films. Yes. We're just ducking off to LA shooting some stuff. Just squeeze it into the schedule. Where is it being shot? I think you don't say that. The hills, the Hollywood hills. Hollywood hills. It's the Outback somewhere isn't it? It's the Adelaide Hills. It was Victoria. How is the Adelaide Hills is it? It's being shot in a secret location. It's actually the new season of Love Island. Tell us about your show that you got going on. A Kepler Van Gogh is about my family holiday to Europe last year, and it was, you know, derailed partly by my poor organisation. And partly by things that couldn't be helped. Like, for example, I had my appendix out in Milan.

It still makes it sound a little bit more fancy, wasn't it? My appendix in Milan, I was going to go to Turkey to get my hair done. But I thought, no, the insurance company actually is true story. The insurance company actually said to my wife, was it an emergency procedure? Said, no, I flew to Milan for a elective appendix removal. Like, honestly, was the fact that you came out with a new set of tits. Was that something that threw them off? It could have been. So I ended up, we were in Venice when I was in, I was in Lodzapaint. If you've had appendicitis as an adult, you'll understand the pain. And I started by googling, because that's the best way to sort it out. And I narrowed into three things, a bow, a construction complaint. I can't remember the name of it, but some appendicitis was option number two. And the third option was period pain. So that's what I know. Is it true with the appendicitis that everyone thinks that it's in the middle of years, tummy, but the pain starts down on like the right hand side,

I was in serious pain. And my wife, this is on a Sunday in Venice, went to reception at the hotel and said, my husband's in a lot of pain. Can we get a doctor to the hotel? And the dude goes, no, Sunday. And she goes, is there a hospital we can go to? And he goes, no. So Carl says to them, so in Venice you have to be sick between Monday and Saturday. And he goes, no, Monday to Friday. And then he gave us the address of a chemist to go and get painkillers. And it's just the weirdest thing. I'm in agony and we're in a gondola going to a chemist. So I've got to do just slowly gondoling through the laneways of Venice while I'm in. How did you get to Milan? What did you do? We got a train to Milan the next morning. You can do the whole night. I was no good. And then what do we talk in weems on a one to ten? When I was dead still and kind of focusing on my breathing, I'd say a seven. But when I was

moving around a nine. Oh my god. Not good. I get to Milan. I lay down on a doctor was waiting at the hotel. I lay down on my bed in the room and he goes, where does it hurt? And I point to the right hand side of the abdomen. It gets two fingers. This is the test. And he sticks them in down to the middle. Hold it there, releases it and says, did that hurt? No, I'm not even making that up. I was trying to tell you before you did that. Oh my god. So then he sent me to the hospital and I was in triage at the hospital and the nurse laid me down on the table. I told her it was going, she got two fingers. Same thing. Oh. And that went up to butt. I'm like, if that would have been much preferable. That's the Italian style. Are you sure you're checking my appendix? Yeah. And then I go to the emergency room nurse. You're not going to believe it. She wants something to see two fingers as well. How many people did you get fingered by Milan?

I got fingered by three. And then I got, I went for an ultrasound. You know, the two people are doing the ultrasound. There's one doing and two people are looking to screen. And they're talking in Italian over the top of me. I'm laying down and they're in chairs talking over the top of me. You know how you can understand the occasional word. Yeah. So they're going, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, problem, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, emergency, yeah, blah, blah, blah, tarnipinas, yeah. I picked a lot more. She killed you a lot of shopping values. Yes, she did. Kill and lad, they had a bit of a look around Milan. But when they got into the hotel, they came the next morning to visit me. But I was getting a sponge bath from two Italian nurses. I'm naked sitting on the edge of the bed and that's the exact moment that they walked in. Well, limo's camper van go to the appendix at the Adelaide Fringe Festival. It's also at Melbourne

International Comedy Festival. Where do we go to get tickets? Tell me on here. AdelaideFringe.com.au, or at Melbourne Comedy Festival, or you can go to the bio on my Instagram. Oh, so many options. That's one of the best. Thanks, limo. Thank you, team. This is Carrie and Tommy. You remember when we had Vanessa and Marossian at the end of last year? She was on to celebrate 25 years of her career. And we had, she was so interesting talking about everything that she'd been through personally and professionally and all, you know, all the gig she still does. And I had to say a national treasure, Carrie. A national treasure. I don't think there's anyone better that sings a national anthem. She doesn't pretty bloody good. What was the story she told us about? Shine. The song? Yeah. You can't hide. You can give your life. Yes, and it was everybody. She wanted to be died. Is going to die and they thought it was a bit depressing because they changed it. She was at Mark Holden that told her to take it. Yes, that's what we thought.

And then going into the chat and then we kind of asked her about this. Vanessa, we need you to come back. Well, what did she say? She seemed to not give him credit. Oh, yes. Anyway, she popped up on stage. G-Flips are Melbourne concert last night. Oh, cool. And sang absolutely everybody. And her chops. Oh, my God. She sounded incredible. That's so bad. That like matches Celine Dion, that does. Oh, I'm so bad with music. What do you mean? I couldn't tell. So, her was the voice going all over the show. And then was it a choir? I think G was singing. Or was it just G? I'm like, I can't tell. If you told me that was 40 different voices, or you told me that was one voice, I'm like, I don't really know. This is Carrie and Tommy.

I think I might be moving in my twilight years. What does that mean? Yeah, what's twilight? I'm finding down. I've become a lot more introspective. And I think I'm seeing beauty in things that people don't care about. I think I'm boring people a lot. You do like birds. I love birds. But everybody finds it beautiful. They fly. Oh, I mean, you started gardening. They're quite specifically like ducks, which aren't usually a beautiful thing. I'm sorry. I've started gardening. Well, you started talking about gardening. I don't know if you've actually done anything. Oh, no, I've done it. You like ducks, so? Ducks. Yeah. Yeah, they're wonderful. Of course. Do you not? No. I mean, they're fine. I don't know. Yes, they're in their feet when they are. Oh, when they're upside down, it's cute. I wouldn't need like an hour chat about a duck though. I don't think I've ever chated for an hour about a duck. But the one that's really got me at the moment. Birds though. Actually, we did chat about birds quite a bit at lunch tonight. Yeah, we did. Yeah, we did. Is it duck a bird? Oh my god. What are the other options? I guess.

To be fair, I just stopped for a moment to think. What's a bird? A bird. Sorry. Actually, I'm sorry to die. I don't know if I go. No, no, it is. Yeah, it is. It is. What other things are you boring people with? And I've sprung it on Jesse already today. Lifts in buildings are like a modern society. I think they're underappreciated. So if we didn't have elevators, we couldn't have buildings that were over like seven stories. That's every major city in the world. Wouldn't be built up. And it wouldn't be possible. And why, Carrie? Why? See why? Why? Why don't you care? Sorry. Why am I the only one that cares about lifts? About lifts. Yeah. Have you ever thought how amazing it is that lifts actually make the whole? In the same way, I think it's incredible, like how cranes work. I think it's incredible how they build those skyscrapers. I've never understood. Like, how do they get? The way you said you don't know how cranes work. No, the fact that they do work the way they do is pretty incredible.

But I'm not going to talk to someone about it for a long time. But have you ever thought that if we didn't have elevators, then cities would never build up? Never. You've got to open your eyes, man. Tell me more about the beautiful things. I thought you were going to talk about like deep like, you know, you started noticing sunsets and feeling, you know, but elevators. Sunsets is your thing. Lift chat. This is Carrie and Tommy.
