But there's this funny thing called weather archives and you can go back and look and realize, oh no, we actually got that weather for like two and a half months. Why do we only feel like we got it for two weeks? I don't know.

6:07But you were right, Scott. We were talking about it the other day about how it goes straight from a thousand degrees outside to ten degrees outside. Yes. It's because time flies when you're having fun. And I think the same principle applies that when the weather's nice time flies. So are we going to see you in pants next week? Is it going to be below freezing? Now you have your answer. Do you have like the ripaway pants for the winter time? So you walk in like an NBA player on the court and you just rip them off your eye. And then inside now I can go back to shorts. We'll see it. Yeah. They're not ripaway, but I have been going. I have been known like if it's really cold outside like ten or fifteen degrees or twenty. I'll come in in sweatpants and then I'll go to my office in the back and change into shorts. I mean, the temperature in this building is always the same. Why it feels like spring in here? And so when you translate Russian directly into English, it sounds very cavemanish. It sounds like I go to park. I slide. I mean, it's very barbaric sounding. But isn't the whole crux of this is that yes, they say that she did, but the reason is what they were supposed to be debating. But I would hope people know that Pat is as I've said before, the most selfless father and supportive partner, the couple married earlier this year after meeting in New York City, quoting here again from Dr. Danis, Patrick Clancy's wife.

Patrick Clancy's marriage to Danis became a subject of fascination on social media as Lindsey Clancy stood trial. Now, there was a lot of conversation during the trial that it was odd how quickly he divorced

12:14or filed for divorce and especially odd the fact that he's now married for however many months, two years after the fact. What was the question? Would you stick with your significant other in a situation like that? Of course, we see the one extreme where Patrick Clancy filed for divorce within the first quarter after she did her heinous acts. And then we look at somebody like the Rex Heuerman, the Gilgo Beach serial killer whose wife stayed by his side, defended him and claimed he was innocent all the way up until he was convicted. Well, here's an exact and I'm going off memory here, but I think I'm right. BTK down in Wichita, Dennis Raider, when he was arrested, I believe his wife, and if I'm wrong, I apologize, but I believe his wife filed for any emergency divorce and was granted it. Like she wanted out of that relationship yesterday. And so what picture does that paint of Patrick where, you know, if it was that bad, maybe

13:20these crazy conspiracy theorists have a point. But if you're filing for divorce within a month of these heinous acts happening, these were his children, right? Yeah. His wife that she killed. Correct. I divorced her immediately, I would to. I'm not saying I wouldn't. It just. We're not going to go near them And that is how we kind of generated that Barrier between humans and wild animals that quite frankly could kill all of us if they decided they wanted to So when it comes down to a fed bear is a dead bear I almost now after hearing that explanation of it understand why they have to be so aggressive And if they are even going to open that can of worms of I can come here for food It will become a very deadly situation for the human very quickly Yeah, I mean it's unfortunate

34:10But you got to you got to take an account you know the human the human's life is more valuable than the bear's I don't disagree with that at all But you know, I just wish we would create something I don't know and call it a zoo or something. I don't know Wait, you want to put the blood thirsty bear in the zoo Why can't you Because it was first of all some blood thirsty. It's just it didn't eat a human. It's beef jerky thirsty Yeah, or whatever it found in your cancels. It's Dorito thirsty But from what this biologist was explaining in the podcast that I was listening to It's they don't differentiate between I can't or I can or can't eat humans They differentiate between I can get food here or I can't but in in zoos you could put it in an enclosure I mean we have lions and tigers in zoos. Oh my Why can't why can't you put it in a zoo? I don't think there's just unlimited capacity to go Gather up a bear and just throw it in any zoo. I mean don't have to have to make space for it and all that

35:14These things are territory also so if you throw a bear in with a general bear population who knows what's gonna happen next Well, I'm sure my guess would be I don't know I haven't been to the Tepika zoo in a million years Um, we're gonna hold the bear Tepika would you like would you like a bear? Yeah, but we need time to build an enclosure for it. Okay. How much time do you need? Yeah? How many more the snack attacks is this guy gonna go on Hey boo boo you would you No I got something for you. Why did I come to work to big and big basket for two? Oh Well, I mean, you know, he might go rogue and start telling you to put out forest fires Okay, actually bears this is crazy story So I was on a trip to I was at Lake Tahoe a few weeks ago one of my buddies from the Navy lives up there And he tells a story about a bear He's sitting in his his living room and he hears or he sees the the back kitchen door like back door open and closed And he thought it was one of his kids just kind of messing with him because he didn't see anyone walk in

36:17He saw the door open and then close and he's like hey, who's back there And nobody answers him so he gets up he walks around the kitchen counter and there's a bear in his kitchen that had opened his back door Got into his fridge. I don't know. It's two pulled out a pint of ice cream and walked back out the door with it and sat on the back But here's my here's my thing. I'm glad you brought that up Jesse How many times have we seen ring doorbell footage or just You know somebody's got a camera on the outside of their home and it ends up on the news all the time Because people will watch it and you see a bear come up on somebody's back patio rummage through their trash can Well, the bear is doing that because it has learned to the point of this story That if I go on to somebody's back patio and I find one of these cylinder things and I knock it over a lot of times there's going to be food in there Right And so should we put all of those bears down If that becomes a regular habit for that particular bear they will put that there down

37:19If you if you but you've spent time in these mountain towns they're very stringent about Yes putting trash outside like there's all kinds of civil penalties for leaving You know loose trash cans outside you got to have stuff locked up. 39:21I had a family member who worked there so you know If we didn't have a babysitter we went to the zoo with our our family member That's cool. So and oh sorry. I go ahead. I used to love it But now that I go back as a human I just look into these animals eyes and all I can feel is that they are immensely sad really I don't know why I don't get that feeling uh Now I'm not a huge I'm not a huge zoo fan anyway. I just don't like to go look at animals not my thing But I think it depends on the kind of zoo. So if you're talking like the tiger king guy, you know that's That's a tiger prison. I guess you could say But we were talking about the monkey that's in the pet store. It's not a zoo But what was the name of the pet stop pet okay? I'm a Frankie was the monkey. Yeah, and that monkey's very happy monkey By all accounts again, I haven't seen that but I trust you guys and you are observations Have you never seen Frankie? I know I don't really go into pet stores. He unless my kids drag me into one So okay, you would love the pet stop and they're not a client. I'm not doing this because of anything like that

40:22I used to take the kids When the girls were young we would go there because they have a bunch of it really exotic animals Yeah, you said like then there's like hissing His and cockroaches and They good It's a it's a really good little That's true. I think zoos though. I mean there's a lot of oversight I think in in actual zoos that are run by city governments and all that and I think they probably have a pretty good life Now what I want to live in a cage for the rest of my life probably or an enclosure I think is is the way zoos now go is with the enclosure not the cage probably not But man I get a lot of really good food and I don't have to hunt it myself Yeah, like someone just throws a big stake in front of you every day And you're a carnivore okay Now please do you think I'm making a comment that zoos are bad? I still actually quite enjoy it But if I spend too much time looking at the animals it's just some like oh buddy. I want to say you Sam Stevie the zoo hater

41:27Which animals would you want to send free Sam? In particular the ones that that get me the saddest Our elephants Did you know your dog at home looks at you with sad puppy dog guys all the time I'm sure do you want to set it free? I walk her seven miles a day. She still looks at you with the same puppy dog guys So I wouldn't just base the solely on the emotional reaction their gaze gets you that's fine Actually a really good point is is your home a dog prison We actually my buddy has been given me a lot of grief because I do not let barb on the couch And they let their dogs on the couch and I don't have any problem with dogs being on the couch The problem that I have is all of barb has white fur and our couches dark green and I don't want white fur all over the dark Green couch bad match. I should have gotten a green dog. I don't let Lizzie on the couch or the bed And my buddy has scolded me a couple of times saying they have a very short life You adopted them into a confined space. I mean I mean this league up to 11 I remember when Tiger Woods hit the scene and golf went from this kind of you know viewed as this kind of old foggy sport to like brought it into mainstream and now you look at the average you know Player on the pga and they look like professional athletes Well, and the thing with with Tiger and golf stayed and stodgy of the two words that come to mind when when I think about golf, you know

47:43When I was a kid and then Tiger comes in and all of a sudden people are screaming Get the ho! Which I by the way is the dumbass. I know that's look at me is what they're really saying look at me No It's a par five It's not going in the hole on the drive I don't even play golf and I know that You know, I mean the winds are right. He did he was at the Monday night football game I know but Sam he said something about he was in Kansas or there is a lot of outrage because he missed stated Kansas City as everyone he's not the first famous person to do geography. Okay All this time's flying his airplane. I don't think he landed in Kansas apparently But no, he was on I think he was on Jimmy Fallon talking about the conversation he was having with Taylor Swift And he said he goes that that lady knows football now And he said he got to talk to the Kelsey Brothers about it and how she went from when they first started dating didn't know anything about football to now she's calling plays and formations and understands everything that's happened on the field pretty cool Oh, that's great. Yeah, and then he jumped on the couch Uh, some crazy we all know that if there's one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens It's more of me That's right I don't have a problem with Taylor Swift appearing on my television screen. She's very pretty

49:48What's wrong with that? It was a little overkill at the beginning, but yeah, I mean well last week She was shown a thousand times because she had probably the biggest biggest movie star in the world in in the sweet with her Some couples will do just about anything to keep their relationships alive Even if it means banishing each other from the dinner tables called a food divorce Well, son of this Welcome to the era of the food divorce where otherwise happy couples eat separately even when they're in the same house quoting here from relationship therapist Aaron Pash A food divorce is when two people who live together stop planning cooking and eating as a unit each person handles their own meals on their own schedule The idea behind a food divorce is simple Sometimes breaking bread can lead to breaking up what Pash said that navigating issues like meal planning and dish duty can add so much stress to a relationship

50:48That it might be better to ditch them altogether. That's I don't know about that In in my house the cook doesn't clean That's the rule So on So I do dishes every single night. Good minutes have been doing this forever. Yeah But tea Dinner every night because she gets home a lot earlier than I do during the day And if I were to cook we wouldn't eat until about 7 30 at night. Mm-hmm And so that's your bedtime Exactly. It's it's creeping close up to it. That's exactly right young man So is this a thing that doesn't really exist But somebody has given it a label and written an article about something? Well, I do think it's becoming more and more common I think the the way that we live our lives in 2026 it doesn't exactly carve out that family time. We are way too hectic. We try to pack in 948 football practices and 732 ban practices and Parents just aren't at home at the same time and so to the point that the story made it can be overwhelming trying to coordinate those schedules

51:51So according to the 2025 world happiness report 25% of Americans eat every single meal alone That is a massive surge since 2003 younger generations are driving this shift for the food divorce ditching traditional breakfast lunch and dinner for solo snacking on the run to survive pack schedules and type budgets I don't think there's anything new about this are they escaping me so phonyos well, so it's actually funny I thought this was where this story is going to be first The only meal that Mary Beth and I eat together is dinner I make her breakfast every single morning she works from home But I I take her breakfast up to her in the office and then I eat down on the table so I don't you're a keeper Disrupt her so we eat dinner together and that's the only one, but I have me so phonyos like was it comes from My early childhood my sister ate cereal and wouldn't swallow before putting the next scoop into her mouth And the spoon was clank and against the teeth Yeah, so phonyos that's the you hate the chewing extreme rage like it's an actual thing where you

52:57It's like uncontrollable anger that that is formed from the sounds of eating and Mary Beth has certain habits when she eats this will trigger my mesophonia And there have been times when we've been sitting at the dinner table and it's I'm the problem not her And I try to avoid putting my problem under her and you recognize that right? Yeah You're the problem not her, but there are times when my brain is just going so absolutely crazy that I literally slam my hands on the dining room table Grab my plate and walk upstairs and eat my dinner upstairs. It's a genetic thing too I so my oldest daughter has the same thing It's not a learned behavior. She she has it as well. So we both um Sit at the dinner table It's it's me her and then my youngest daughter who doesn't have it and is also very loud to eat her So we've learned to mitigate this by any time we sit down to a meal together We have music going on in the background to filter out eating noises What yeah, that's a nice time. Yeah, we always yeah, it's just in the background It's just like you would at a restaurant where there's music playing or something like that in the background

53:59But it's enough to kind of break up the sound of one of my kids teeth flanking together Tea and I always eat dinner together in case I have to go into life saver mode again. Okay, and perform the Heimlich again I do a record player in my dining room. I might have to start using that Do I tell you about the t-shirt I had printed out for tea you told everybody. Yeah, okay Multiple what's it say if I'm grabbing my throat, please save me no It's it just says Scott Park saved my life that is correct And then he got himself a t-shirt that says I say for Wow, we know what you guys are gonna be for Halloween That's right. I performed the Heimlich and saved her life When was this when was that Sam like Not a year right before Christmas one year there are a couple months before Christmas Well, they would have been about a year ago then because it was last year. Yeah, so you legit perform the Heimlich Can I tell him the story or are you bored of it? She had she made some chicken that was exceptionally dry and she knows it She does what she did well what happened you see what happened was all her fault

55:03I came home from work one night and we sit down in the living room like we do every night and we watch wheel of fortune while we eat dinner and It was chicken and so I don't know what the rest of it was and I'm just sitting there eating my chicken and Chewing on it a lot because it needed moisture so I had to put spit in it and And then out of nowhere I start hearing And I look over and she's sitting on the couch and I go I need to know I need to know BS Answer are you choking and she said yes, I am choking and she looked at me and nodded in the affirmative And I said stand up turn your back to me immediately and she did I'd never done the Heimlich never taking a class on it. I saw a video on it one time And I did the Heimlich well, I did it like four times and nothing and so every horrible thought is going through my mind I'm like oh my god you know My Sweetheart is is going to die right here in the living room because I can't savor

56:06And so on that fifth one I remember thinking of myself. I don't care if I break her ribs. I'm getting this thing out And I pulled as hard as I could in it in it forcefully came out right onto the floor The dog ran over and ate the piece of chicken. I swear to death And then we sat down and kind of got our wits about us And before we started back up eating dinner and I first I had to pause wheel of fortune that was unfortunate I know fortunate. Yeah, and then about five minutes later, you know, we're just kind of sitting there Quietly and then about five minutes later I looked over and I said the chicken is a bit dry And she told me where I can go insult upon injury. Yeah, cause of death dry chicken 913 586 777 9 We're checking it for language. Maybe we can bring it to you later or some of it later

57:08But our good buddies the post sex not just released their new record today. Oh, yeah What's the name of it again? Do you remember big bad is the name of the record? It helps with the insurance things we don't admit I didn't put it in Well, I don't know if I'm gonna be able to get to the fire in the west wing of my home So I better unfortunately be a little a little bit of extra smoke while you're cooking and now you got an entire flood damage Deal to deal with well, we we've had to open a lot of doors and windows on an occasion Have you heard the theory that the the family dinner dying being a negative thing for the American family? I think so dinner time. I mean for me and the kids That's the one time as they get busier

59:12That we have to sit down together and I can actually engage in conversation with them and nobody's in a hurry Like you're cooking out tonight. You're gonna do steaks. Yeah. Yeah, but I'll go home and all you know Once I get past the the general answers, you know like how would you do it good? You know, we'll start to dig a little deeper But that's that's when conversation happens in our house and I think that's pretty standard for most American families It definitely was like obviously Sean and I were divorced so That family dinner went away, but when I on the nights that I did have the girls and I thought you know Sean and I created a very equitable timetable for her time with the kids my time with the kids and Like a lot of dads. I'd never felt cheated out of quality time with the kids Considering the circumstances, but when when they were at my home We always sat in the kitchen to have dinner. Yeah now on the nights that I didn't have them I'm

1:00:13Rolling up some SpaghettiOs and I mean Living I mean not in the living room So in the mid 2000s anywhere from 50 to 65% of families eight dinner together Every single night. Give me that number again the percentage 50 to 65% of American families okay in the mid 2000s okay every single night that number dropped to 25% for five to six days a week only 18% had dinner together one to four days a week and never was far below 10% Care to guess where those numbers are today probably reversed Only 28% of American families have dinner every single night together today and believe it or not Still according to the numbers only 20% Never have a family dinner together never have a family dinner 20% one in five I believe it's ingrained into human nature that we bond over food breaking bread

1:01:13Yes exactly so think about as adults What do you do with your friends when when you're an adult like what what do you do when you decide? Hey, you want to hang out you're gonna go somewhere and you're gonna eat something most of the time go to dinner Yeah, and that forces you to sit down stare at each other Converse and it's enjoyable I think that's where most family bonding occurs unless you're actively involved in in one of your kids activities if there's kids involved But I mean even with a couple's you know kids are out of the house Yeah, everyone's got a busy day. I mean that's the time where you're gonna sit down and actually spend time together is around the time when you're eating But are we as Americans and American parents over um Scheduled schedule scheduling our kids. I absolutely think that applies. Yeah. Oh totally. Yeah, I mean don't you get me started on the The the letting I mean So you want to encourage your kids to do activities and things like that But I think in America we've we've taken that very far and it seems to be getting exponentially worse where we where our kids activities

1:02:14Just like rule our lives now. Uh, Q the just one more obvious reason Sam doesn't have kids comments on the text line But is that a discipline thing? What do you mean? I mean on the on the part of the parents parents families all together I mean could you still sit down maybe a little bit later than you wanted to and still make that family dinner or maybe order out and bring the family dinner home Here's an example um We let's let's say that that shonda and I never did get divorced and we We were raising the two kids together, okay And I was always my kids soccer coach my daughter's never ever Minus one year when sir went to elite um Never ever didn't have me on the sideline as a coach But we had practice during the week. So let's say practice was that you know, I get off work at six the earliest we could have practice was six 30 I take Sarah to practice. I'm coaching until seven thirty eight o'clock at night

1:03:16Maya Shouldn't have to wait until eight eight thirty at night to have dinner just because dad and Sarah off at practice And vice versa at Maya when because I was her coach too When she had practice I wouldn't expect Sarah to have to wait till late at night. I see where you're going but If there is nothing in the way there's no sporting event to be at or practice or whatever um I would certainly try to have dinner together now I'm going to guess you were intentional with your other daughter as well That was not at these practices right to make time specifically that you still get to spend With her right and that's what I do with with my kids a lot of times One kids at an activity. I'm having dinner with one. I'll try to make as best effort as I as I can to to have dinner with the other kid At some point like two dinners in one night. No, not necessarily, but just make sure that I'm getting intentional Family time with them and it's usually over a meal nine one three five eight six seven seven nine eight five eight six seven seven nine eight

I think it's I think you can say it's objectively True that your family will be closer And they're closer knit a number of correlated Negatives in society with that drop in oh, yeah, family dinners Would you care to share them? I was kind of a tease. I was gonna go to Josh first. Oh Josh How about I go to Josh Yeah, you know, thanks for having me on hey, um to get with that you know my voice place soccer

1:06:20We got a 14 year old and a 12 year old and And that's four days a week practice, you know between the two of them and my wife will make supper and She will feed them ahead of time of soccer if it calls for because sometimes soccer can go later 930 at the latest of some of them But she will literally wait for me to get done doing what I have to do the farm chores and everything else for me to get in before she makes a plate And I like to have a shower before I eat because I want to sit down if you're comfortable But she will literally wait for me and I'll tell her honey go ahead and go eat no, I'm fine. I'll wait So she will wait for me invites a verse to all wait for her, you know, it's just how we do it If the kids can eat with us, they're definitely eating with us and the only reason or not is because they're As soccer practice, you know, and we can't wait till 930 to eat and I don't want to eat at 530 right Yeah, and I think most people who understand that respect that What and maybe I misread what the text was trying to apply all I'm saying is When I was a kid I didn't have anything going you know this idea of me hanging out with my buddies You know down the street at Jimmy Brinx house or something

How long you allowed to to be on the tarmac without Getting people off the plane there is a regulation from the Department of Transportation that once you are on the ground passengers cannot sit in the airplane longer than three hours before you either got a get them airborne Or get them off the airplane And then the air and then the uh then they want to get airborne Yeah, that well or if they if they just landed and they're waiting for a gate for some reason But yeah, the Department of Transportation will start to find you severely per passenger on board after three hours now when you fly
