From Gangster to Guru with The Mindful Wizard, Steven Rivera
About this episode
In this episode I talk with Steven Rivera, “The Mindful Wizard”, who I immediately connected with after he interviewed me on his podcast, and of course I had to invite him back so that everyone could hear his story.
During his teenage years he lost an eye after an attack, which led to depression and a dark period of time in his life. Looking back on it now, he says “ it was perfect” because he wouldn’t be the person he is today if this hadn’t happened and, as he says, “I became everything that I needed”.
He managed to change his life around, decided on making better choices and developed his meditation and mindfulness skills. Now, he wants to teach everybody that “people have the power to live the life that they want”.
