About this episode
Sergeant Bickford served both on active duty and in the reserves from 1999 through 2006. His time in the Army brought him to Germany as well as to a deployment to Iraq. He returned stateside after Iraq, got out of the Army, attended university and through a series of one-of-a-kind experiences is now the Head of Communications and Programs for The Library of Congress' Veterans History Project
