Captain Robert "Rocky" Rochford, United States Navy (Ret.)
About this episode
For this episode, Joe meets retired United States Navy Captain Robert "Rocky" Rochford. Raised in Scituate, Massachusetts on the Atlantic coast, Rocky was destined for a life at sea. Upon graduation from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in 1985, Rocky was commissioned as an Ensign in our Naval Reserve. A shift in the commercial shipping industry had him exchange his reserve commission for an active duty commission. Serving 33 continuous years on active duty, Rocky was able to see the world. Upon retirement in 2018, Rocky became involved in politics and today is running for Congress.
