They do a great job with their MBA coverage throughout the entire year. We'll get his thoughts on who's going to win the MVP. Also, the rookie of the year. And in 45 minutes, we'll go inside our pizza, Rio, some long shot bets that have either cashed or are looking pretty good to cash with some upcoming results. Maybe like the final four this weekend. Who's going to win the national title?

Michigan sitting there clinging to a one and a half point favorite, Polly. It pretty much every book that I'm looking at right now. Total is 157 and a half. And it's my understanding that there was a send out from a big group yesterday on Michigan minus one and a half to not move the number. Hmm. A release on the play did not get it done. Okay. The more I think about the game, the more I think Michigan is going to win. Yeah. Yeah, because Arizona does not take a lot of three. Third few attempts in the entire country. And Michigan is a good three point shooting team, but they're also phenomenal at guarding the rim. And Arizona just played a couple of teams like Purdue and I'll go back to the Arkansas game. Arkansas isn't here. Your defense was not existing and they got whatever they wanted the entire game with no resistance. It's the exact opposite going against Michigan. So I think Arizona is. And when I watch them play this year a lot, every time I saw them like they're the best team in the country, I just think the mat, the more you dig into the numbers and look at the overall matchup, I think it does benefit Michigan a little bit

here. And I get it why they're favored in the game. Well, the other team that no one's talking about and they have an easy time. Have an easy time of it with all double digit wins is Illinois. And I was impressed with what they did and how they beat Iowa when they couldn't make a basket from out. They were three of 17 from three, but they got to the free throw line. They got easy twos. They were great on the glass. And that's another way where if your shots are in fallen, they struggled against Houston. Houston plays great defense. And they came back and the shot wasn't fallen, but scored 43 second half points and did a lot of damage down low when they couldn't make anything from outside. So punished pen blew out a good VCU team. Never a chance. Houston by 10 and they beat Iowa by 12. Yeah, great run by Illinois. And Houston got to the free throw line twice that entire game. One of those trips came late. And opposing teams have only gone to the free throw line 24 times in four tournament games against Illinois. Iowa went to the line 14 times.

That was it. Like they are the best team in the country, basically at limiting free throw trips for opposing teams. So if the shots aren't falling for Yukon, they're not a team that really lives at the free throw line every single day. Might be who knows could turn into a long day for them. Tommy Lloyd coaching Arizona. And you immediately were like, oh my god, why would he take the North Carolina job when that rumor first floated out there early in the tournament? We're going to get to his odds to take the North Carolina job coming up here in a minute. Yes. But this is also a unique sound bite from a head coach who was playing for a national title this year. Rumor to take a job. And yet these words actually came out of his mouth about it. You know, I love those guys. And they've given me a better life because they helped build this program to what it is now. And the legacy is so strong. And those guys have been so cool and so welcoming to me. The sun may be shining on this team and me coaching it right now. But when it's shining on you,

you got to fight like hell to protect it and build it. And so that's what I feel like my number one responsibility is is to fight to protect the program and fight to build it for those who came before me and for those that are going to follow after me. Because you know what, Arizona is going to have another good coach after me. I promise you. I mean, the place is special. What does that mean? Like I get what he's saying? Like your point? Okay, fine. That should be 20 years down the road. Yeah. No kidding. Why would you bring that? Why do you even say that? Like we said yesterday, I was shocked that they've only made five trips to the final. Yeah. Yeah. With all the NBA players they've had in one and two seats. So if he wins the title, maybe he's done enough. But if he wins the title, they're going to say, this is this is great. You can't leave. And this is your hero. And then you would be leaving and the pressure to win at Carolina. No doubt. So was that his way of like saying, guys, I'm going to be here for the rest of my life. But when I leave or when I retire in 25 years, yeah, that's what's missing. But he didn't

say that though. That's what's missing. You easily could have said that. It's also like what Pat 40 said yesterday. He's had time and time every chance to just say not interested. And he hasn't done it. Sure. Goes back to the again, the side fell episode. You know, I asked the doctor. Is it cancer? He didn't say get the hell out of here. Yeah. You know, he didn't give me the get the hell out of here. So, but why I still think it's going to be Donovan. So you still have Arizona plane. The NBA season ends April 12th. And he doesn't want to go through a rebuild with the bulls. And the one thing he didn't like at college was recruiting. He doesn't have to do that now. You have your GM. You're set. You're a great tactician. X and O's drawn up. The plays are everything. That's what you want to do. And the success you had at Florida. That's the dream situation. Go back to college and get out of the NBA and went and people at Florida told Pat 40 that their number one concern was, oh, he could go to the NBA or Carolina. And when he was in

the NBA at OKC and Chicago, the only concern there was he might take the Carolina job. And now the Carolina job's open. He's in his 60s. And the bulls just blew it up. And the bulls are looking at a total rebuild. Why would he want to do that? So definitely, like if you think, by the way, this comes down to, if you have somebody in the know, that'd be great. Because then you could be firing on. Yeah. Lloyd, I know somebody who's at Arizona. And he's going to be taking the job in North Carolina. So let me fire away. Offshore. Tommy Floyd is plus 175 prediction markets. He's plus 189 right now. But the same thing goes for Billy Donovan. There's an offshore book right now posting his odds of minus 175 prediction markets have him around plus 123. You can get him at plus money as we speak. So by the way, some other. Would you think of him grabbing the mic? Tommy Lloyd. What do you think of that move? Like wrestling, given the shout out to Ludo Olsen just grabs the mic from her. I'm OK with that. Yeah. I look kind of a height man. They tell you never let go of the mic. Yeah.

What do we think about Grant Macasland from Texas Tech at six to one for North Carolina? Guys, a hell of a coach. I think they'll be disappointed with that. Okay. Also burger, but he already said not going to happen. He's at 20 to one still. Yeah. Dusty May was rumored again a couple of days ago. He's at 20 to one. Golden is 33, Nate Oates 33, and then you want to really get nuts. Rick Patino is 100 to one. Jay writes 100 to one. But I thought if Jay Wright was ever going to come back out of retirement, it would have been two years ago for the Kentucky job. And he, he squashed that immediately. I'm a big fan of Jay Wright. Oh, sure. I, you know, he had a lot of those tournament failures right away, but the way that he turned his, the way that he coached his kids and they play that style of basketball, they were exactly like the Golden State Warriors. If you watched him, how they played like four guys out, four out one in. And all those dudes could shoot three from all over the entire court in the passing was immaculate. But if he didn't come to come out for Kentucky a couple of years ago, that probably tells me that he's good to go with what he's doing

to those life right now. Patino is not going to leave St. John's. Is he? He's got an extension race. I can't imagine he's going to leave New York City. Let's also hard. They're going to throw a ton of cash at you and Michael Jordan's calling. Yeah. I'll tell you who I could see taking the job to be NATO's at 33 to one. Yes. Yeah, because it would be, that has to be a payday, although Alabama's got more money than God, but you're going to go from Alabama, which football school compared to North Carolina. And then on top of that, like his style of basketball, that's going to be Roy Williams all over again. Yeah. As long as they're willing to spend money and go get kids and pay for them, like the guard play they had. Hunter Roy Williams is ridiculous. Of course. Yeah. But the way that notes that NATO's coaches basketball, they're going to play games in the 90s and that's a very fan-friendly experience. And again, what they had under Williams the entire time and kids are going to love doing that. And as again, as long as they spend money, 33 to one on oats, I could see actually being worth a little bit of a sprinkle on him. Okay. So you said it could be, I told you so if

Arizona loses on Saturday, how about if Illinois gets beat? Is it like what, what, you dummy, why didn't you take Hurley? Yeah. He's 18 and 180. Yes. Here's Matt humans yesterday on betting Yukon and Hurley in the tournament. Yeah, my final four right half of the bracket, I think is what a lot of people had. Michigan, Arizona, two number one seeds. I tried to pick a couple upsets on the other side. St. John's had the wrong team from the big east. Yeah. Yukon got there instead and then Houston got knocked off by Illinois. Michigan was my national champion. I'm going to stick with Wolverines. Probably going to go with Yukon in the other game. So I do feel like Yukon's going to be a big public dog. It feels like, I don't know, I just want to keep betting on Danny Hurley. On a bad thing, man. It really dies. Good point about public dog, but I think so. Yeah. 18 and 180. Yes, Ron. And I know to gag that and gave it to him. But but that's that's an incredible run and just think that they they had Florida on the

math. I know last year and the second around could have won that game. And then who knows what that run is because that's right. It was Maryland. And then it a Texas Tech was awesome last year. But that would have been another sweet 16. And my guess is probably any elite eight. Or I'm last year. But I think you're right. You're right with that. And certainly humans too. I mean, obviously piggy piggybacking that. But at this point of the season with that guy is the head coach and their numbers are going to be spread everywhere and how they've covered so many times in the last four years. I just think that people are going to be betting them put the public is going to be on that team the entire time. How do you bet it can stand Hurley can't do it. Yep. But you know, this is not many people are talking about Illinois. What a run. This is right. I don't see the future tickets either. Only then a couple guys send them in as well. That's where that you're talking about that from a three seed. We're brought to you by prophet X. While let me throw this at you in the NBA, when you go down the line, look at maybe projected series matchups and then odds to win the actual conference. The Denver Nuggets are getting healthier and are expected to be like fully healthy by the start of the playoffs. They have one sixth rate. They do have some tough games remaining on the schedule like San Antonio twice. They get Oklahoma City once. But they're probably going to win at least three or four more games, finish around the four seed, I would think overall. They're like plus four 75 to win the West at DK. They're like 10 to 1 to win the title with. And by the way, that was it's like the highest number. They've been almost the entire year. It's outrageous. It needs to be higher, I think. Oh, so you want nothing to do with

them? No, right. Because of the path and because it's the ultimate. I told you so. You stink defensively. Yeah, but we didn't have Gordon for all those games. Yeah, but still you can't guard anybody. But if you're the four and they have to draw Minnesota in the first round. And if they win, it's OKC. And then whoever that is and San Antonio. Yeah, it's I need a lot more than that. And you certainly they have a can score, but I'm concerned about the defense. Maybe Adelman isn't as good as we thought. But it looks like they're going to be the four seed. And if they have to go Minnesota, OKC San Antonio. And then whoever comes out of the East, I need a lot better than that price. It's certainly not going to be easy for anybody outside the top two. Because then you're going to have to go through San Antonio and Oklahoma City one way or the other. But you are going to have Nicole Yokich on the court the entire time. Yeah, assuming health. Right. But they just have matchup issues against Minnesota.

That's not that's not problem. Yeah. And Minnesota, by the way, is that one sneaky team still works like how the hell are they going to do any damage this year? But they made the Western conference finals two years in a row. And they've always been that team at least the last three years now when you don't want them when they're laying 15 against a bad team. Yeah. But when they're catching six on the road against a really good team. Hello, Celtics. What was it last week? They go there and win the game out right on a comeback is they took the thunder to seven. And Gordon was hurt. And Murray wasn't wasn't right either. Right. And they still went seven with the thunder. Now where the thunder better this year, maybe it was that the thunder were weren't ready for the prime time. They struggled because they were so good in the regular season. And then they went seven had to go seven against Indiana. Who knows. But I need a bigger price than that. And that's it's going to be fantastic with those with these playoffs. It's also like what what are the thunder going to look like once they have all their guys back at the same time too. Yep. Which it feels like we've been waiting the entire year for that to happen. And I just think if they would draw San Antonio San Antonio would get whatever they want offensively.

And they and and Wembee would dominate as well. The last time they played they lost, but Wembee didn't play. But they also had a big lead and Denver win on a huge run. And you mentioned they still have that other meeting coming up. The funny thing is coming into the season. We only thought two teams could win the East. And Nick fans were salivating. This is our year. Was it the next in a couple of years? Nixon Cavs. Yeah. But Mazula did such a great job. And Jalen Brown was so good this year. And what they've done. And then Detroit comes out of nowhere to do this and grab the one seat. Still no respect for the pistons. Even though they're going to get the one. They're 25 to one to win at a draft. Kings. That's about what the Lakers are to win the title. So the Celtics are six Cleveland's 13 the Nixers 16 and the pistons are 25. And then you got the Long shot with the Sixers who are finally healthy and they're 90 to one. But we all know and Beats going to get hurt. At some point, but in your team, the Buzz City killers, which might be the best 10 seed we've ever seen. You know, the East was awful for so many years. You're still

talking about teams that are over over 500 right that are the 10 seed, but they're they have so many great wins. They're a better team on the road. I would be scared to death if I draw them in a one eight. I want to play this. So JVT and I recorded part of the futures last night. And we're going to get his thoughts here on the Eastern Conference. And again, we replay this whole exercise about draw a line through a team. I'm drawing a line to the Hornets. They're it's they're going to be completely up against it. If they would have won the division had been the six in that range and landed like the Nix as the three. That's completely different than maybe winning two playing games. And then you have to go at that point, you'd probably go pistons. Yeah, I think the price is crazy. You can get plus money for them to miss the playoffs. They're probably going to be the nine or 10th. The nine or the 10 I think is the most reasonable path that they're going to have. And that means if they're the they got to win two games then. That's right to get in. Yeah. And that's going to be easier said than done. Even though I think they're going to be the best team seven through 10. It doesn't matter. They kind of killed them. Remember what they start 4 and 14 on the year. So I can't do it with them.

Man, I want to tell you I can't the Cavaliers, but it's James Harden. They're the number one offense in the NBA. The last 10 games. They're also the 20th ranked defense in the last 10 games in the NBA. Oh, he will have a stinker. Oh, he will. Maybe several. He will. Yep. Okay. So this is JVT running down another team here in the Eastern Conference. Tyres Maxie Paul George, Joel and Beatle, finally healthy with about eight nine games left in the regular season. If they get that six seed, I will call my shot right now. The Knicks want no part of the Philadelphia 76. No part. I want no part. None. None whatsoever. I think the Knicks are frauds. I don't think they're a good team. They constantly are coming out of these games and complaining about game plans. Carolina, 30 towns again, the other day in a lost OKC, where it was talking post game about how they need more post touches and he's like barely shooting the balls with the burst recorders. I don't like their depth. They're not a good defensive team. I think that the Knicks would be in a lot of danger if the Philadelphia 76ers get that six seed.

Just like I thought, by the way, that if the Hornets had gotten that six seed, which is why that lost for the Hornets is tough. Yeah. If they had gotten that six seed, that's a totally winable series for Charlotte against the New York Knicks. But I would you really be stunned if the Philadelphia 76ers beat the New York Knicks and find themselves in the Eastern Conference semi finals? Like I don't think that would be a shock at all. Latest episode part of the future is available right now. What do you think about that? He drew a line to the Knicks completely after that. Yeah. I don't like the comments either what he said from Kat and also what's going on with Mike Brown. I don't think they're going to get the six and they won't beat Boston. I don't see it. I don't think they'll be Boston either. I can see them absolutely giving the Knicks a run for their money like a good run. It'd be great too. I think it would be as well. Yes. But then the teams after that they would have to still go through. I'm not so sure. Not so sure. And by the way, as I said yesterday, though, we've all guilty of this. We've done this every year. Watch off for the Clippers. Watch off for the Sixers and they let you down every single time. Right? They have. Yeah. This one you're buying it

like this is a good spot. Mark. They open up a two point dog went off a two point favorite to have the lead late. What happened? Grabbed the bed. Yep. 16 to two run from Miami to end. So still they're getting all these guys healthy and they look good on paper. But Paul George has been horrific. Playoff time and beat can't stay healthy. I love Maxi. Ubrei shoots too much. I like him, but he shoots too much. Okay. One other team we haven't even brought up yet. And they're going to be the team that wins a Southeast division. And the biggest thing that they have going for them is that they traded Trey young. Yes, it's been great. A team that I could never take seriously with him. I saw them. Oh, they're good. I think they're good. I think they probably are. They just catch in teams at the right time. Yeah. On back to back ski guys don't play or they're playing tanking team. Got the Celtics last night. Yeah, but also got them at the right time. No, I don't take them. I know that. I know. I'm just man. Look at what this team has turned into since they traded. So they could they were never a contender with Trey young. All right. So no, no, not about. So you're saying against either the next or the calves are going to give them a series. I'm saying that maybe yeah,

maybe they're going to be pluckier than we think. And I mean, if when it's all said and done, if it's the Hawks against another team to go to the what to the go to the NBA finals, maybe we shouldn't be that stunned overall. Because this thing does appear to be completely wide open as we say every single day. And maybe it doesn't turn out like that. Maybe it just it comes down to the Celtics and the the pistons. And that's that. Well, every team wants to draw Toronto in the first round. Toronto is a yeah, they're up a half a game on Atlanta for the five. Billy sitting there in the seven a game and a half back. Still some tough games coming up. I haven't heard one peep out of a single human being saying watch out for Toronto and Eastern Conference playoffs. Yeah, not a single person. But yeah, I just I still got to I mean, I'm good right now Detroit Cleveland, Boston, New York for your semis. That's dynamite. Yeah, the maybe the pistons should be getting more love. Yeah, they're going to be the one C. They're doing this without Kate cutting him right now. Again, I we have to just assume here for a

second that he's going to come back and be healthy. That could be a mistake. It's a collapse long again that we're talking about here. So maybe maybe he isn't and that's going to be a problem long term in the playoffs. But if he does come back with the year that they put together, they think it just they got dudes all over that team. Well, there was a lot of love for Cleveland last year. And they were what an eight dollar favorite something like that seven dollar favorite against the Pacers got barely embarrassed. Yeah, blasted in five games. Yep. And didn't it didn't win a home game. Juice real just dropped an update that makes it impossible for capers to lie about their records. By the way, the team I'm talking about tonight in this spot, it is the pistons 11 and two straight up winning outright in a back to back this year tough spot

though again. Yeah, came down Toronto open six. It's down to two and a half three. Yeah. Over time last night. Now a back to back tonight. Good, but the schedule game doesn't lie, man. That can get anybody. Yeah, Dallas was five. That's down to one and a half now too. Followed the money. Here on Vieson, the sports buddy network, Henry Abbott joins the program with true hoop coming up next. What does he make of the odds movement in the NBA MVP race? Can Wembee win? We'll ask him next. This is follow the money on Vieson. We were just talking association. We continue here. This is going to be a fun conversation. Henry Abbott joins the program now. It does a terrific job at true hoop.com. And he joins us here on the progress of guest line. It's a pleasure to talk you again. Henry, it's been a long time. How are you, my friend? Doing very well. Thank you. How

about you guys doing really well. Let's begin here. In the last probably, what do you think, Paulie? Week to 10 days, maybe two weeks. The odds in the MVP market have dropped significantly in favor of Victor Wembee. In fact, there was a game recently where he went nuts and he was still 33 to one after the game. Then he came out. Obviously that press conference. And he dropped to like now plus 250, three to one range, something like that. And SGA was a gigantic favorite to win. And that came all the way back. What do you make of that movement? And do you think Wembee actually has a realistic shot to win? I mean, he's good enough. It's exciting enough. I'm happy for everyone involved that we have this little exciting race. But my heart, I think it's going to be shay because I think the thunder are better than last year. And the competition is a little worse than last year. And so if you're a voter, you don't want to set up this thing like when dirt wouldn't the MVP and the Mavericks were already out of the playoffs by the time they won it. The Spurs, I think maybe like the shooting and a couple other things experience. Be alive in

the conference finals or finals. So I think it's going to be shay's year. And I would pick Wembee for defensive player of the year. Seems like a shoe in and he'll begin a long run of MVP's as long as starting next year. Okay. What if the Spurs get the one seed? They might, what are they three games back right now? Two. And they have the tie breaker. I mean, the only little fly in the omen of my theory is that they've been so good against the thunder, right? Like, yeah, whoopsy, that could be exciting. But yeah, it could happen. Yeah, that what it does. Look, it brainwashes people, right? Whoever's in the in the top seat on the day you're voting. It does brainwash people a little bit. I still think it's going to be I just think in the heart of parts because it's called representation bias where like we've seen she win a championship. And everyone knows that when they vote. And I think it's just going to tip it over a little bit. What about the rookie of the year? You think there's a chance that people just thought that Cooper was going to win going all the way back to like December January made up their minds at that point? Or are they going to take

full stock into what Kinepola's done and say, oh my god, I can't ignore this. It's not even close to me. I did a little research because I was going to be on this show. And I mean, if you're looking at any advanced stats, right? Anything that involves offense and defense. Khan Kinepola has been way better. I don't even think Cooper has been like top three. So, you know, and the Mavericks have been so bad, nothing is no disrespect to Cooper fly because it's going to be a marvelous player. But in earned wins, just to say it one step, stat from a dunks and threes, very respected. We'll say Khan is at 9.6 earned wins on the season. Cooper is at 3.9, which trails even VJ Edgecomb. So, yeah, I think he's he's good, but I don't think he's we're good at the year. Ron Connor. Okay. Very good. That's excellent. David Thorpe, our friend, had a great piece up on SGA and a glowing praise of SGA. Do you think he gets a different whistle, though? 25 free throw attempts last night. I think stars get different whistles. You know,

I don't think there's an MVP candidate who doesn't get, you know, Luke August gets a friendly whistle too, right? It's it's it's I hate this about the NBA that to get from. John Holland showed a story when Derek Rose was a young player saying that basically he didn't get the line enough. Derek Rose played just kind of straightforward hardcore basketball. And then he, Derek Rose acknowledged he read John Holland's story and adjusted his game and starting to the line a lot more and became MVP. And so I hate that we've done this to these stars where the only way you can get that level of productivity is to shoot, you know, eight, 10, 15 free throws in a game. But that is what stars have to all do it. And she's just really good at it. I don't I don't think it makes me a bad guy at all. He's just a little better at it than most of the other stars. Before you pop done Henry, we were having a conversation about both conferences and like drawn a line through teams. I think that exercise works more in the Eastern Conference because it's more top-heavy, obviously in the West and the East feels wide open. But you do have to draw some lines like through a team and say, okay, especially when it comes to betting, like I want nothing to do with them. Like how many teams do you think can like realistically come out of the East this year and play in

the NBA finals? I think it's Boston, Cleveland, NYX, Pistons. I think that's probably it for me. That's a list. Do you disagree? I think you're too high on the carves. Their defense has not been great. But I feel that they got a little unlucky against, like, matching up against the Pacers last year. I just had a system that just ate them alive. And maybe they get a luckier match up this year. I don't know. I, you know, maybe the harden thing is solves a problem for them. I don't know for sure. I don't have a ton of confidence in it, but I couldn't roll them out yet. Well, how much of his previous playoff failures would you add actually, like, weigh into this brand new team, different talent? Obviously, does that mean much to you or no? Something's up, right? I mean, he's had a bunch of years when he's been horrendously disappointing in the playoffs. He's not always known to be the most fit guy. And maybe this time of year wears him down a little. But, you know, they, they get a little spazzy sometimes.

And I think that he helps with that problem, right? At this age, he's still a good player. He can play great defense in the post. And they're going to make sure handed decisions, I guess. That would be my guess. They're lucky that Pacers aren't at full strength, though, right? Because that's, they are still not well designed to play against that Helter Schelter up and down style. You're the perfect guy to ask about this. And you did, you got into this a little bit on true hoop about when billionaires investigate or have to punish other billionaires. What are you hearing that's going to happen to Balmer and the Clippers that we still don't have a resolution with the koai aspiration thing? It's kind of a long investigation, right? Yeah, what's taken so long? Yeah. Yeah, I would be shocked if they're not negotiating, right? I don't know if it's exactly Adam Silver's Steve Balmer, but like, I think everybody loves having Steve Balmer in the league. He's maybe the most important, certainly the richest, most liked owner. And he's a little bit of ballast against, you know, you have to think about what happened to the to the PGA, right? And they may

live golf to compete against them. Like, there's a certain way you want to be looking really strong and deep pocketed so that people don't come at you, right? And Balmer's important in that to the NBA. So I think that they need to work out some way to not kick him out of the league. But he was caught right handed breaking a major role. So, and what are they going to take a bunch of draft picks? Like, it just doesn't make sense to me. I'm this is a little bit of a joke. I really do think it will be elegant. If they air quotes kicked him out of the league, kicked Balmer out of the league, and then with a massive fine, because he has infinite money, and then let him buy in for another massive fee to run this Seattle team, which is close to home for him and would be kind of a win-win. That would be so. Is there an actual pattern? Pretty cool, right? Could that could that happen? I mean, they kicked they did the thing the same thing with last Clipper's owner, right? I think it's definitely Paul. I mean, the the CBA doesn't outline that exact remedy, but it does permit the commissioner, as we know, to get enough votes to kick him out for special circumstances,

right? So he could kick him out and then, you know, and just set a really high price and he'll pay it for the Seattle team. That's true. We could do an hour with you. But what did you think of the list of the three different ways they introduced to try to curb tanking? And if you were in charge, what would you do with this big problem that I'm so very happy? Yes. I've been covering an MBA since the 90s, and we've been talking about the same thing this whole time. The point is, the best players, the victor, women, the honest, Laurent James are so valuable, not just because they're better than everyone else, but they're also underpaid for so long, right? They've seven years of not paying the market rate. So they make it so valuable that teams will do anything to get wherever they have to get to maximize their odds, which means every draft tanking strategy won't work because you just move around where, in the standings, the tankings happening, but it's going to happen. So to me, it's been clear for more than a decade. The only solution is to just do away with the draft, keep the salary cap, and then let the next victor decide if he wants to go play for, you know,

Charlotte for 40 million, or for the Thunder for three million, and maybe he doesn't get the ball, right? And then I don't think we're going to have a competitive balance crisis. Instead, what we're going to have is bidding wars for rookies. And if you look at history of drafts and sports, that's exactly what they were designed. They weren't designed to create competitive balance. They were designed to stop bidding wars for rookies. And so I don't care if they're bidding wars for rookies. It's only billionaires who are upset by that. So I'm like, what about bidding wars for rookies? That's fine with me. Yeah. We did think of the timing with all this year being like exhibiting for how bad tanking is. And then we're going to expand into two more markets. Yeah. No, I love it. I'm a blazer fan. And they happen to have this soft schedule. Well, they're playing all these tanking teams that are like, went in by 30. So for me, I love it. I think it's great. But yeah, I do. No, look, and really, I think there's enough talent. I don't think it's a big crisis. I think that's the problem is that the draft picks are too valuable. Right? And so you just have to go, we're forcing the wizards not to play their best players.

And so they're all benched. And it leaves us in this weird thing where the blade just won by 30. But it shouldn't be like that. And it wouldn't be like that unless we had a draft. Right? If we just got rid of the draft, the problem goes away. Fair enough. You can follow Henry on X. True hoop is where he's at there. Also true hoop.com's website as well, where he and a slew of other humans do great jobs at covering the NBA, and beyond Henry pleasure talking to you. Thanks so much for the time today. We appreciate that. No, super fun. Thanks for having me. Yeah, be sure to be good. Thank you for the progressive guest line. That was a very strong comment about the NBA rookie. This was not even close. Not even close. I think others feel that way as well. Good question too about how about the timing? All these teams tanking and you want to add two more teams that are going to be lousy. We'll grab a bite inside our pizzeria coming up next. A nice little 2000 to one ticket will catch your Arizona wins an national title.

Arizona. He's in the final four. He's got to finish the deal. 2001. He can maneuver now. That is excellent. Great job. Well, what do you do? What do you start first here? You got to make money in 2001. Yeah, I know. Well, I'm favorite in the title game. So I have to maneuver and take some Michigan. Yeah, you could do it two ways here, right? You could take Michigan and then if Arizona wins, come back and take the points on with the other team because you got to make money on something like this. Yep. Well, you look at it here or you could like if you're in a state with circuit, but then know right now in Arizona and just that that's also yes. Wash your hands of it and make a profit. Yep. Very good. Tim Stafford MVP winner. Mendoza Heisman winner. You con final four winner. 24 to one. That's how it's done, Tim. Okay. Nice job. Hoss in the big easy January 9th. Two tickets. Indiana champs winner. Michigan final four winner. UConn women. Celtics win the East. Abs win the West. 76 to one. He also has the next to win the East. 55 to one.

He is feeling good. Okay. So he had anchors to it and then he just switched out like Celtics there at East and then Nix East. Yeah. That's that's a good approach. He'll strong about the abs as well. Celtics are the favorite to win the conference. That's strong. Bryce and Arizona January. Exactly. Seahawks beat the Patriots. Arizona final four. Spain World Cup. Abs win the West. 96 to one. Well done. On January 24th. Okay. So that's going into AFC NFC title game weekend. Probably. Yeah. That wasn't the exact that we didn't pay much. Still 96 to one though at that point. No doubt. Ken and Canada. Michigan wins the final four. Takes it home. And Van Coover has the worst record in the NHL 94 to one. Oh man. What a ticket that is. Yeah. Van Coover is awful. He's got to get Michigan home. And he's favored and okay. No, no, no question. What if they blow out Arizona again. Same thing applies here.

Right? Yeah. Yeah. Flip and Iowa. Stafford MVP. Miami Moneyline against Ohio State. Iowa Moneyline against Vanderbilt. Yukon wins it all. Men. 362 to one. All he needs is Yukon. What does he do? Oh, so the Iowa Vandy game was a bowl game. Yes. Oh, God. Okay. Yes. So he's got three in Yukon Nash. Well, 361. There's a no price here at Circa. There's a no price on them right at prediction markets, which you could do. Otherwise, you got to, I mean, if he wants to lock in money, if he's not going to let it ride, you got to go Illinois Moneyline. And then if that loses, then you're going to come back and just suck it up and probably go on Moneyline with the other team that you're making. You're still making two bets here. Now again, that's if you want to make money and hedge. How about Yukon in the final four? And he's a dog in both games. I know. I know. Now some people will hear this and say, I'm never hedging. Like, I made it this far. I made

the bets for a reason. So yeah. And there's that. Then he's going to scoop the entire thing if they actually come through. Yeah. That promotion at the furniture store is they both have to make the title game. I thought it was winning. You get I was at someone said I was you just said they just have to make the championship. That's that's a whole different ball game. Wow. Okay. The free furniture. Dean and Pennsylvania. He's strong with Henley. The Masters straight up 66 to one tied into Michigan wins the title 180 to one. All right. Good luck. Peter in Canada. January 4th. Indiana winner. Arizona Final Four winner. Celtics win the East Spain wins the World Cup 178 to one. Good job, Peter. Yeah. Gordon and Oregon. Illinois Final Four. There's one of them. With God are up to win the Masters 190 to one. Probably when God are up was really maybe it was on a roll doing well earlier this year. The real Mr. ACL added again.

It loves to give these away as gifts at wedding gifts or birthday presents. The real Mr. ACL on X Indiana winner. Seahawks Super Bowl winner. Michigan wins it all 78 to one. What a gift. And that was a birthday gift. Yes. Just needs Michigan to cash the ticket. I love that idea. Definitely can maneuver. Yeah. You know how happy the person is who had the birthday. To your idea of the chips for the wedding. I'll stand the idea and she sped on it. So the I can't. This ship. I mean that's a great idea. They can outside the box that anyone can just pick out, you know, silverware or something. Right. That's many years ago. I'll remind you. New one. So I went to a wedding in Florida 20 years ago. I gave them a bunch of chips from a casino out here in Las Vegas as their wedding gift. Hey, come out. We're going to have a good time to come back to me instead. We want the cash instead. The wife wasn't able to make it up. Yeah, make it up. Denny and Massachusetts. Michigan wins the final

four. Shaffler masters. Celtics win the title. Abs West Dodgers World Series 2100 to one. Okay. He also has Michigan Celtics and abs 157 to one. I'll get one home with Michigan here. You're cooking with some Chris go man. Yes. And Eric in Georgia. He was picking up with Pat 40 was putting down. He placed the bet. He's like Florida Gator fan. After Arizona beat Florida, he made the bet. He said 33 to one. They were 33 to one still after that win. What he says. Man, oh man. It was right away in the like, wasn't the second game. I want to say it was like, I mean, look early. First, remember, third. Some like that. Yeah. Okay. There you go. It was right away. It's five months ago, basically. Uh-huh. And he's like, I've seen enough. This team's so good. I got a bet. I'm 30. Oh, the thing is like, if he says it Arizona, he's never going to be 33 to one ever again. After this year, he finally got over the hump of getting to the final four. Great job, guys. So

that's excellent. Adios, man. It's end of men. People in common. We see all the emails, FTM at visa.com or tweet at us as well. Good job with the pizza real. So Rob, so Rob Pizzola, I want your thoughts on this because I think, so this got a lot of traction yesterday and was trending on X. So Rob Pizzola tweets. You know, here we go again. We got 15 baseball games and we don't have a day game. There should be a day game every single day. He says, just give me one. It would help the sport. There's something you can always watch. You got to play at least one day game MLB every single day. It's have getaway gay and all you do on the on the weekends as well. If you're going to play 15, 15 games, please give me one day game. It doesn't make any sense. He says, he's 100% spot on. Yeah. And this is something that we've been talking about. So go back. It's a year after the pandemic when they played 60 games. No fans were allowed, right? They

came back in April of 2021. And they made it a point. I still want to say like in my memory, I'm going to go the first day of the entire year when we didn't have a day game was like April 26th, right? Like every single day we had our day game or malt. And we were doing morning. So we could go home and watch baseball. And that by the way, quite frankly, 2021 was the best baseball season I've ever had my entire life, not even close betting it. And a part of that is because it's on all day long, I get to watch all these games. They're on the package. And I don't have to sit there and take in 10 games at the same time. And I just by watching you're going to get a better feel for these teams, right? And then they got rid of that idea. I have no idea why they would do that. Yeah. You have all of a sudden now we have to wait. Games are going to be starting in what the next 40 minutes or so give or take. There's a lot of images. I have adjusted with the 630 East Coast first pitch. Yeah, they saw a given match. Yes. But then once that starts is like, here's 11 games in the next hour and a half at starting. Like why? There's so many teams. Yes, you can just rotate. Hey, the Dodgers. Hey, you guys got a you got an afternoon start. Right.

Or Hey, pirates and cubbies are playing it at 1130. Sure. And once it's like middle of May, beyond that, when the weather is good, like across the country, absolutely put them in for a day game. Uh-huh. It doesn't make sense to do this all at night. Because he's right. I mean, expand the game, make it more popular. You're going to have action throughout the entire day. Right. And also you're not competing about against what's going to be very soon. By the way, the NBA and the NHL playoffs. Yeah, too, you know, that will well said. You know, people were coming back with the, well, people got to work, but that's I know a lot of people were at work and put the ball game on. That's big. That's that's what, you know, why do you think Harry Carey and all these guys were so popular, these baseball announcers, you got the game on the radio at work. Yeah, and in the games. Oh, by the way, in any of these major like cities across the country, if you pull one day game on a week and you rotate it out, yeah, you can draw 25,000 in a game. That's a win. Two right. Yeah, they get a big deal. They get a big enough to support it like once every so often.

Yeah, absolutely. So that got like 400,000 views. So I thought I thought to get on something there. And he makes a lot of sense. We'll brought to you by Profit X.
