2:05emittingings. Yep, that's got to love bumps, right? Got to love bumps. But the Florida Gators started the game, which by the Florida State went on a kill shot, right? Florida State scored two runs in the top of the second and then Florida didn't score in the bottom half, which is a kill shot that I think it's pair ratings was the is the account that that's trying to put it. But yeah, hard pass on 2o being being a kill shot. That's like saying, you know, four nothing in basketball as a kill shot. No, it's not at all. But Florida, it was interesting because not a lot of hits, right? And also luckily for Florida in this game, no errors. There was the weird, there was that like weird play that was it was Brendan loss in running from

3:09short and running toward Jacob Kendall and Jacob Kendall. Like should have had the ball should have first off should have called it. Secondly, should have just been like like logically, he looked at the easiest sky to go make the play. Instead, Brendan lost and tries to make a difficult catch, does not make that catch. And of course, he got runners on. We'll talk about the pitching, because yeah, yeah, Kendall easily should have had that. Jacob Kendall had just, again, seemed like a pretty damn easy ball for him to feel. But for some reason, they decide not to. Florida's offense was interesting where you had Brendan loss and hit a solo home run in the sixth inning. And he's just on fire from the plate right now. Nine home runs on the year. He had 10 last year. So real close to it's up in that one. But Florida also just benefited from

4:14getting walked a lot like this is another game where your batters are getting on base, but they're not necessarily hitting a ton, but they're batting well, right? You're working the count, you're getting on base. Florida got walked nine times and struck out nine times, which now nine strikeouts not perfect, but getting walked nine times, especially Brendan loss and just three of them. And then he had the hit outside of that was his like his one hit was a home run. It was just a good game for Florida where your batters just not exactly going off, right? But your pictures were and like Ben mentioned, two different pictures hitting 101 is insane. I mean, again, this was like I said, like it's in the title, it's in the description, dominant pitching by the Florida Gators in this one. There's no other way

5:19to put it, right? No other way to put it combined 18 strikeouts, 18, including like if Jackson Barbary didn't walk someone, then you would have had two pictures go just five batters with five strikeouts of a Jackson Barbary had the walks. He went six batters and five strikeouts and Josh right there had five batters, five strikeouts just throwing gas. It looked like playing, I don't know if anybody here plays MLB the show, but it looked like when you're playing MLB the show and it's like, all right, I got a righty, righty matchup and my righty throws 101 miles per hour. And I'm trying to throw that gas high inside good luck. And it looked like it played out just like the damn video game does at this point where it's like, dude, you're not catching up to that high inside. It's really tough. And so Florida, you got off a, we got out a little bit of our off start.

But Florida walks in the game winning runner or gets the walkoff with a walk in on Sunday night and then or Sunday afternoon and then today that your beginning was built with walks a single or two singles. That's it right. Like Florida not exactly dynamic right now offensively. Not exactly explosive right now offensively and honestly not exactly consistent right now offensively. They're kind of just doing enough to get the job done at this point which frankly getting the job done is getting the job done. But this was also I think an important game for the pitching system right. Wasn't exactly a great showing against high point this weekend for the pitching staff and yes obviously a lot of different pictures in this one but uh you know you had

9:33your your bullpen came through for you right Jackson Barbarian just just I just love the way kid plays. I'm going to be honest in the way he pitches I just love it um it was awesome to just watch because the end like game started not awesome right uh Sanford had had two three walks couple hits allowed um two earned runs and then nearly had another earned run allowed and it's like all right well kind of felt like you know you might be going through quite a bit of your of your bullpen tonight and yeah it kind of did right but no one had to take on an overwhelming amount of pitches no one had to take on an overwhelming workload it was just uh Jackson Barbarian right um there's right now just just throw in gas when they were in there and again like that's the thing that we've talked about before with uh I think it was a Liam Peterson game where we're talking about his pitch count riding up there and there's to say well that's what happens when

10:37you strike them out of time yet 18 strikeouts as a team right and again like I'm I'm I'm no math was but 18 that's 54 pitches there just on the strikes not including fouls not including the seven walks which is the 28 there like when you're striking guys out your pitch count's going to ride up a little bit which is fine especially when you're one dominating the way that Florida did in this one two when they they couldn't touch some of this uh and three when you're not walking guys like that that's I don't care too much that you're you're getting triggered if you're also walking guys they are that's they're negating each other at that point um at least how I value them but for Florida your bats inconsistent but got the job done you're pitching kick the crap out of Florida state in this one like plan and sample right I mean Florida's pitching was just

11:38on it especially in in the back half of the game I don't know how many hits for a state had laid in the game all right how many how many hits did they have from the we'll say fifth inning on and so at top five they had no hit top six a single top seven strike outside top eight two singles and top nine strike out the set they they had three hits from the start of the fifth inning on right I think that's I'm good with that especially when you come in and it's like already at that point they've got three runs and it's like all right but we just came in which time our bullpen just dominating the game Florida saw us I mean obviously a a ton to figure out feel like defense is in some spot really comfortable like short like Brennan lost in is not a spot that I'm super comfortable with defensively but actually he's one of those guys

12:40you yeah like well his bat negates the negative of the fielding so not a lot to figure out offensively defensively pitching again tonight hard to complain about it but this is a team still has a lot to figure out before they even come close to their ceiling but this is a good one to get all right number 20 ranked Florida state you in and there or you they went into you and you just dominated them pitching wise where your bats incredibly hot all night nope where your bats really hot for for any particular stretch outside of just that third inning which even in that third inning it was you know stolen base so walk another walk in a single and it was just you know you got on base in different ways or advanced in different ways and then got singles to drive them in so it's not like you had really anything super to arched out there but you got the job done and
