It's clear the 2026 regulations for Formula 1 are not perfect. In fact, they've already been proved a failure of sorts. How did this happen? Well, the engine makers looked at what the road market was doing and thought they knew the future. They didn't.


Now, the FIA and its president is making it clear that come 2031, a much simpler Formula One will return. 2030, if enough makers back him. If they don't? Well, there's the door.
