Eps 558 - Liberty, Prosperity & Capitalism Changed the World

John Mackey, the founder of Whole Foods is a great capitalist, but he is also one of its greatest ambassadors. I first realized this fun fact years ago when I read a book called The Morality of Capitalism. It features chapters written by great capitalist about what makes capitalism important to them and why. Mr. Mackey is someone who has spent a great deal of time thinking about capitalism, why it works and why it's the system that has led to the greatest prosperity for the most people. In this talk he reflects on some of these ideas as well as why he believes that the entire system is under attack by its critics.
