Eps 531 - Robert Reich on the Rise of Oligarchy

About this episode

The great Thomas Sowell explains the political dichotomy as "A Conflict of Visions". These two visions divide into those who see the world full of free individuals, where rules are government are minimal or non-existent, and those who see the world in terms of order, where a wise and altruistic government can arbitrate the evil that men do to one another. These two visions are in constant battle with one another which creates the political tension within society. In the trailer to this program, I talked about the history of world being about those that are free and those that want to rule over those that want to be free. Robert Reich is a ruler. He sees the government as a force for good. The great equalizer in an otherwise unequal existence.
