Of course, staying on this path over time requires more-and-more of your liberty, money, and property, a curtailment of speech right, freedom of association, even a restriction of movement and travel. Obviously, this isn't freedom, but we're told that freedom isn't fair and equitable, and we need the wisdom of our intellectuals to help guide society towards a type of utopia that promises to deliver everything, but delivers less and less all the time.
